Do not order Domino's if this place exists
I so need to apologise to these owners. I've historically, (somewhat prompted by the kids in my defence) ordered the total rubbish (in my opinion) that Domino's churn out. No more. Yeah, I could save a fiver, and eat cardboard topped with minimal toppings. Or I could have a proper, tasty, gorgeous, hot, steaming pizza, topped with mountains of cheese and toppings. I chose the latter. But, if you'd rather eat cardboard, from a chain that treats you, & their staff like rubbish, there are other options. Up to you.
Best pizzas around!
I have been ordering from the pizza cafe for years now and every single time it's been amazing. Mostly I collect but this time I had the pizzas delivered. Delivery time was fantastic and the man who delivered my pizzas was so lovely. The pizzas are so fresh, great quality and generous toppings, not to mention great value for money compared to other places. This is a fantastic little gem in Wallingford and I recommend it to anyone who loves great pizzas and great service.

What incredible food!
We were in Wallingford for a day out and I purchased the 'part baked' pizza for us to enjoy when we got home. I finished them off in a hot oven at home and they were incredible! The best pizza I've eaten since I was in Italy! Even if you're not hungry when I'm Wallingford buy some to take home! You won't regret it and I am seriously considering moving to Wallingford just to get these delivered to my house!
Pizza's are great but be prepared
Pizza's are great but be prepared for a very very long wait if you ask for delivery. 2.5 hours when they said it would be 1.5hours is unacceptable
Brilliant pizza delivery
The pizzas here are fantastic and the delivery service is great too. It's definitely our 'go to' delivery option in Wallingford.
A super pair of pizzas
A pair of delightfully fresh hot pizzas delivered to our door. Both Perfectly cooked, my Diavolo, packed full with delicious meat and peppers my wife's was a gluten-free base with pescatore (fish, prawns, mushrooms and anchovies) she is a really happy bunny.
Just like the best pizza in italy
Very very good pizza. As good as any i have had in Rome. Perfect base, loveiy sauce, not too much cheese, and excellent choice of topping.

Best by far!
Well... what can I say about The Pizza Café in Wallingford, other than that it is the best pizza for miles. Since moving to the area in October last year, I had extensively looked around for a decent pizza and happened upon these guys. Their Four Cheese pizza is to die for! Always a win when you find a good strong blue like Dolcelatte although i prefer gorgonzola.... won't mark you down for that ;) So tasty and since the first, I haven't looked anywhere else. The best pizza I ever had was at the Trencadora restaurant in Pollenca, Mallorca... only by a slim margin. Well done guys! Steve & Christine (Cholsey)
BRILLIANT
Although only small and we had to sit outside with our dog we enjoyed our sandwiches, hot chocolate and coffee. A very good selection of sandwiches and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved our spaniel. Would go back again.
Amazing Pizza
Always a fantastic pizza. Can't recommend highly enough. The 4 seasons is a definite winner in our house.
Freshly made-to-order baguettes
If I am busy in town I often pick a fresh baguette for my lunch. Always tasty but make sure you get a serviette with it, especially if you have the prawn salad.
I only had the pizzas here
I only had the pizzas here but it's some of the best pizza i've ever had. Their pizzas are thin crust and very flavourful. I personally think you have to get either the Margarita or the cheesy garlic bread (which is actually like a pizza). Service is quick and the price is amazing. One of the best places to eat in Wallingford
My favourite pizza stop
This small pizza cafe is a regular for me whenever I visit Wallingford around midday. The latte is generous and I would recommend the filled baguettes served in a basket at the tables inside or out. The pizzas are freshly cooked and delicious. Order one, go and do your shopping and it will be ready when you call back. The steady flow of regular customers is testament to the popularity of this centre of town venue tucked on a corner of the old arcade. If like me you return to a venue you know will deliver friendly service then this is the place for you too.
The best pizza around
The pizza here is amazing! Far better than dominos, we always choose this place if we are craving pizza! The garlic bread is one of the best I have ever had. They also offer vegan cheese which is so great! The only thing I could possible fault is that the garlic bread is't vegan, it would be great if you could adapt the recipe to make it vegan!
Best vegan pizza ever
Well this was the best find in the world.. Since becoming vegan.. I have missed stringy melty cheese more than anything else.. I have missed bingeing on yummy food... but I Have found my solution.. This is incredible.... The primavera pizza with the goats cheese switched for vegan cheese was the perfect end to a long day Super fresh naughty and incredibly tasty thank you.. I will be back
Yummy casual pizza
We had the primavera and a chorizo pizza. Both delicious if a little oily, great service. Very casual and seemed very popular with locals.
Best pizza in the world - no joke!
We feel so lucky to have this place just around the corner from us - it truly is the best pizza that I've ever had and we pay a visit most weeks. The pizza bases are cooked perfectly and taste extraordinary, while the toppings are generous and of a great quality. Be warned, though, as once you've eaten one of these little beauties no other pizza will do. Really friendly staff, super quick service, and great value too. Perfect.

Cash only but good quality, worth a visit
Smaller range but excellent quality and the taste is far superior to the local dominos. There are tables if you wish to eat onsite.
Best take out pizza!
We love Pizza Café, it's always super fresh and so tasty! The garlic bread with cheese is yummy too! Staff are always really friendly on the phone and so are the drivers. Highly recommend!

Delicious pizza
I ordered delivery from here when I had a few friends over. I was going on the recommendation of my neighbour who assured me that it was delicious. She wasn't lying, all 4 pizzas were inhaled within minutes. I just had a basic pepperoni but it was one of the best pizzas that I've ever had! Definitely worth skipping Dominos and ordering from here.
Rude Staff
A couple of the chefs are Spanish... listen carefully as you walk in as they insult you, in Spanish, expecting you not to understand! A particular favourite of theirs is " marricon ".
Great take-away Pizza, thick and tasty
I was in Wallingford, UK and wanted a quick meal. My hotel (The George) suggested the Pizza Cafe for take-away Pizza. Very tasty Pizza, lots of toppings.
Awesome pizza 🍕 😍
We have been coming here for a couple years, pizzas are fabulous and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend and we've not had any as nice as here. Don't be put off by the look of the shop!

Another great takeaway Pizza
Busy day and couldn't be bother to cook, so if you want a Pizza, it has to be from Pizza Cafe in Wallingford. Great delivery service - bang on time - and fantastic friendly staff. If you haven't tried their pizzas you really should.

Great pizza as always
I only ever order takeaway pizza from here as it's better than local competitors. My favourite pizza is the Quattro Fromaggi which is incredibly tasty and well cooked. Delivery is around 30 to 45 minutes depending on how busy they get. The menu isn't extensive but there is good choices for vegetarians.
Excellent Pizza!
Fantastic pizza delivered to my door. Moved to Wallingford last year and so glad we can get a decent takeaway pizza. They also do the best lunch baguettes in Wallingford, the bread is baked in the pizza oven, bellissimo :-)

So addictive it should be regulated
It's been two weeks since my last Pizza Cafe and I've barely thought about anything else. That pizza infiltrated my being and left it's cheesy goodness permeated my body and soul for days to come. Like that Ex you'll get over, I've tried to move on. Oh, I've tried. Pizza Express dazzled with its decor, Dominoes wooed with it's offers. But truth be told, this wonderful local business is still going as strong as ever for one reason: their pizzas are the 8th wonder of the world. I'm a little hungover, and perhaps a little emotional, but most of what I've said is true.
Always the best
Whenever our minds turn as a family to a home-delivered pizza, we will always use Pizza Cafe. By far the best pizzas anywhere, and really timely delivery. They have been consistently great over many years. Cannot recommend enough.
Great Pizza
Popped in for some late lunch on Saturday. Ordered two large pizzas, cheesy garlic bread and drinks. The pizzas were amazing right balance of crust, sauce and toppings. The garlic bread was amazing. The staff were really friendly and I will be back.
Incredible hot & cold food
Scrummy pizzas and the garlic bread is to die for. I've felt a little let down by take out garlic bread in the past but that is all behind me now I've tried the Pizza cafe garlic bread. They also do lovely baguettes at lunch time and all are fantastic value for money. Definitely a keeper 😊
Tasty Pizza - A Great Lunchtime Treat !
So what shall I have for lunch today ? Baguette? Sandwich? Wrap? No no no let's get a PIZZA !!! Ordered a pineapple & ham (Hawaiian), crisp base, ample topping and juicy. Really delicious, I will return again very soon !
REAL Pizza. Mediterranean style pizza
It's a small place with just a few tables inside next to the kitchen and a few more outside just next to the street. But the pizza is genuine. Just as if you were somewhere on the sunny Mediterranean. Thin, crispy crust, taste of tomato sauce and oregano on it. Just what I was missing from back home in Croatia.
Good Pizza
A group of 8 of us ordered pizza from here for lunch and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. we were given 2 10 " garlic bread's for free as it was a large order. I would order from here again happily.
Perfect takeaway
Great value Pizza. Freshly cooked, great stone backed taste. Definitely a favourite of ours and strongly recommended. To round things off even the chap who delivers Pizza is a good bloke. Our preferred option to Dominos.
Family buisness v the big boys
The pizza café is a small family run business that prides itself on excellent service and very good quality. In Wallingford they face stiff competition from Dominos and Pizza Express but to their credit they survive and maintain the values. Dining al-fresco can be a challenge in the winter but they do have overhead heaters, but why not have the home delivery service which is second to none.

Superb customer service
One of our large party was gluten free, so the Pizza Cafe staff simply got a Pizza from Waitrose, heated it up, and delivered it with all the others.

This place never disappoints. The staff are so friendly, the food always tastes great and it doesn't leave a massive hole in my pocket. Fantastic for a quick bite to eat, to sit down for lunch or to have a take away dinner.
Great Pizzas
Had pizzas delivered last night, they arrived promptly and still very hot. Pizzas had plenty of toppings, they were happy to change ingredients to meet our personal requirements, very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be ordering from the Pizza Cafe again.
Best pizza for miles around
Very lucky to have this great pizza place so close. No need to use the chains in town when this place is so yummy. Please try this place you will not be disappointed. They also deliver and are very speedy. This is a treat every time.
Real Italian Pizza
As you can read in other reviews, this is the best pizza in Wallingford. I ate here many times and never been disapointed. Cook is Italian, very nice guy and othe stuff is friendly as well. I used to read a book and drinking Cervesa beer here.

Best pizzas in the town
With the advent of a new big-chain branch of pizza takeaway having just opened in the town I have felt the urge to big-up The Pizza Cafe as it has been a bastion of decent quality pizzas in Wallingford for about 25 years now. The menu may be small but the quality is excellent and their prices are very reasonable. I hope The Pizza Cafe can whether the initial storm of people opting to eat the flavourless gunk being served up nearby
Proper Pizza!
Have been here many times, occasionally to eat in but often get a takeaway delivered to Cholsey (not many places deliver here so this is very welcome!). The pizza is always excellent- well cooked, fabulous quality sauce and toppings and on a proper Pizza Base rather than the usual takeaway style! Always delivered on time and the staff are very friendly.
