Alles in Allem sehr ordentlich.

Changed beyond recognition
We always used to eat here especially breakfast as you could get an American / Australian breakfast with bacon sausage Eggs toast tomato baked beans and coffee with a waterfront view till 2017. Now in 2018 they have finished renovations and the restaurant is cramped into the front facing Street with no view and stuffy feeling. The food was OK but now only bacon and eggs for nearly twice the price. We now drive to Subic where we can get proper breakfast on the beach for similar price.
VERY DISAPPOINTING
Very large bright pleasant dining area. Long difficult walk to entrance for seniors because under renovation. Very disappointing menu (e. g. no mixed chop suey only vegetable chop suey). Hot and sour soup good, but all of our other dishes bland and very disappointing (e. g. vegetable curry only had green vegetables in it, no other types of vegetables). Actual food received bore absolutely no resemblance to the the appetizing ones shown in the pictures in the menu.
Good Chinese restaurant at Subic
Currently being renovated and entrance is at the back that would make it difficult if you are with seniors. Food not that bad and price is very affordable. Service was good as well
Chinese Food in Subic Bay
The last time I was here was one New Year's day. We previously tried this restaurant on its old place too. The food was good and service was ok. But with other Chinese Restaurants around, I am more inclined to try other restaurants with better food selection, taste, personal touch, ambience, and price. This establishment is popular with other clients but sadly not for me.
Under construction but still open
I like the view and the relaxing atmosphere, I love the sweet and sour and the shrimp dishes. Try the lemon chicken
Good dining experience and superb service
Food was great. Waiters were very attentive and accommodating. Best place for families. Kids can play on the sand while waiting for the food. The place is quite spacious. A big parking lot is provided right across the restaurant. But please take note that there is an ongoing construction at the front to make way for a bigger and better resto.
very good! tasty!!!!!!!
Very Tasty Chinese Food! One of My Favorites! Very Good Menu! Very Extensive! The Best - Use of Seasonings & Cooking! Fresh Fish, Crustations & Shellfish!
good food, menu!
I love eating here! Hong Kong style! Food Seasoned Well tastes like Wanchai, Hong Kong Island! fresh Seafood & Four Seasons!
DRY and BLAND food
I've been to lots of Chinese restos and I can firmly state that their food is bland. Sweet and sour lapu lapu is covered with breading that I cant taste the fish itself; plus the sauce tastes like the sauce you can buy in the grocery. Lemon chicken, which is one of their best sellers according to the waiter, was dry and the sauce also tastes like the one you can buy from the grocery. Salted shrimp was also dry and does not look fresh. If you like dry and bland food, dine here.
Good food, good service
The food was good. The crab was delicious, and so was the fish I ordered. The employees were helpful and always there when needed. The toilets were not as clean as I would have preferred. However the food was more than good enough to be given a 4 star review. Not the best restaurant, but still pretty good!
DELICIOUS STEAMED LAPU LAPU FISH !!!
The restaurant has the best tasting Steamed Lapu Lapu and crabs ! The prices are reasonable. Allow time for cooking, as they are cooked fresh !
Yum yum
Really nice and good value quality Chinese food - the Peking duck had lightly smoked duck breast - very nice - crab, vegetables etc all excellent - excellent setting with beach and harbour view
Tasty
A fantastic menu, we had the Valentine's special well worth it had a great time cannot praise the food to highly it was very very good. it is a must visit place in subic, down next to pier one its very accessible by walking or taxi, back to the food its been two hours since we left and we are still full
Good taste
V. good chinese healthy seafood. We like the taste of the food. Docuration is normal and look like quite and clasic. Even I did not try other resturant in this area but i can recommend this resturant especially seafood.
Hidden Beachside Gem @ Subic Bay Freeport Zone
We've been in the Philippines for over a week now, and while there have been many good natural and original restaurants, we didn't encounter a dining experience that actually " wowed " us. I'm from the US, so I already have biased expectations. Walking into the restaurant, I noticed it was very clean, and staff were attentive at helping us find the perfect table for our group and also knew everything on the menu. It was our first time so we didn't know what to order, and they were patient in answering all of our questions. The pricing is moderate, expect to pay average US prices for a place of this quality. The seafood is fresh, there are even holding tanks behind a glass in the lobby that you can look at to pick your meal if you desire to have fresh stock prepared for you. The taste and quality of the food is impeccable. The most notable dished that we ordered were the sweet and sour spare ribs, Beef HoFan noodle dish, and bird's nest's soup. If I could compare this restaurant to anything I have experienced, I would rank this at or above P. F Chang's. The garlic fried rice was neither dry nor soggy, and the service was quick and staff very respectful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Apparently it is popular amongst local and National celebrities here in the Philippines. There is a picture wall full of them. The head chef also happens to be the owner of this establishment, and he was present at all times. It was very easy to talk to him and compliment him during and after our meal. He seems like a hands on kind of person, to make sure that each and every one of his guests are truly satisfied. We will be back again soon, probably every time we drive though the Subic Freeport Zone, we will visit again!
The Great Wok of Subic!
We finally tried New Feng Huang and we were not disappointed. Now, we know why it's always packed. The food was good. We ordered the Hong Kong Style Fried Chicken, Sweet and Sour Fish. The service was even better. Upon entering we were ushered to a table with a view of the beach and were quickly served with their complimentary house tea. After soup was served, there was a power outage. We were immediately informed that it would take 30 minutes. We settled our bill and went to the beach first just in case. As soon as power was restored, the waitress went out to the beach and called us back. Our orders were served within ten minutes. Now, that's service! (A far cry from the miserable customer service we experienced at Ramen Sora, just down the road.) New Feng Huang is our new favorite.
Thumbs up for the food! (Other things can improve)
Being a native of Olongapo City, I know that there have not been many good Chinese restaurants here mainly because the Americans before preferred other cuisines. But after the bases' withdrawal and the onset of new restaurants in the area, I can say that this is one of the best Chinese restaurants that have been put up in the freeport. The place is traditionally a Chinese resto: no fancy decors or furnitures but you come here to eat and not appreciate the interior. Service is okay but like most restaurants, they try to maintain a minimal line up of waiters such that in our function room, sometimes the service slows down. Food is really good and tasty so it's a thumbs up for the food! Every item on the 'lauriat' is enjoyable (except that they held back on the ingredients of the chop suey whcih was mostly cabbage). Parking is ample and the view is very, very nice. Prices are reasonable. My mom is a very good cook and she always has comments about the food when we eat out. Except for this restaurant. That itself means that the food is very good. Other things can improve. They gave my mom a complimentary birthday cake but they got the surname all wrong.
Great View and Food
I love this place for Chinese seafood dining, awesome view of Subic Bay. I tried the Salt and Pepper Squid, and some fancy clams both were very nice.
Great Chinese - huge wonderful menu!
Recently tried this as a recently new Chinese Restaurant (used to be in a nearby SBMA hotel and moved to new location. All the foods we tried were fine in every way. Had Chicken and Corn Soup, Dumplings, Fried Rice with various seafoods in it, plus Sweet and Sour Pork. We three Friends and all enjoyed all of it. Ate and ate and still had lots to " take home " ! Highly Recommend if you like great Chinese foods!!!
Asian Delights
We were there for lunch with a business partner. I must say if I could order everything in the menu, I would have. Fried Rice, Asian Soup, Steam Fish, Noodles... Just thinking makes me hungry
Chinese Restaurant in Olongapo City with " nice ambiance " ONLY
NEW FENG HUANG Restaurant in Subic, Olongapo City is located near the beach and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, food was not good enough to be described as Chinese Cuisine. Most of the food we ordered tasted bland and not even a hint of the Chinese flavor one would expect, such as the Hot and Sour Soup tasted more like Hot and Sweet Soup. Service was only average since some servers were not knowledgeable about the food they offer.
Excellent!
the crab is Very Good! my husband ordered fried fish tenders, mixed veggie and yang chow fried rice. i had.5kg crab simply steamed which i ate with vinegar and crunchy garlic dipping. Superb! it helped that Allan our server was present but not overbearing. changed plates as needed and was attentive without hovering or being pushy about orders. Will definitely return here!
Beach view + great chinese food
We had late lunch and appreciated the prompt service. Our orders were served fast: Yang Chao fried rice, hakaw, crispy squid, sweet & sour pork, and crispy chicken. The waiters were warm, attentive, and took care to refill our water on that very hot day without us asking them. For a Chinese restaurant, the place is very clean and the beach view through the invisible glass windows was unbeatable. Bonus: free desert of mango pudding at the end of our meal. The portions were generous and we had a lot of take-out. Still tasted great after reheating. Excellent experience overall.
Elegantly Delicious Treat in Beach View
Its really so refreshing to have a meal here at Feng Huang because of its very delicious cooking of Filipino and Asian cuisines while watching the beauty of Subic Bay, sitting on an elegant room. Plus the atmosphere is so light and friendly so its very enjoying to have lots of conversation with family, friends or even business partners. ^ _ ^
Chinese restaurant
great food for the price, great value for money, A / C not strong enough to counter the heat. Other than that we had an excellent lunch
Masarap
Black Pepper and Chili Crab at 69 peso per 100 grams, you can't go wrong with that. It was absolutely delicious! We had shrimp dumplings and spicy chicken feet to, both very good. The staff are nice and very attentive too
Nice Food and Service
My friends and I had dinner in this restaurant last January 22. My friends already ordered our food when I arrived so I did not have any choice to make. Surprisingly, I liked the food. But what it made more astonishing was the service the waiters provided like a simple refilling of water in the glass without asking them. We were there with half full guests. I wish they do the same level of service (or even more) if the restaurant is full.
Sea front oasis
Must be one of the taste Chinese restaurant have been to and a large selection menu and many dishes can be done vegan, the service was super.
The Best Chinese in The Philippines
The best Chinese restaurant in Subic Bay, no doubt about it. This restaurant was one of our locals when we lived in Subic Bay. THe food is great, the service is excellent and they make a pretty good cocktail as well. Make sure you try theire chili crab and the steak japanese style, delicious!
CLOSED & GUTTED - A LOSS for SBMA / SUBIC BAY
CLOSED & GUTTED - A LOSS for SBMA / SUBIC BAY Two days ago we stopped by the restaurant to find it closed and being gutted. It had served some of the best Chinese food this side of Hong Kong. We will be very sorry to see it gone.....
Take out order was a FAIL
Late Review. We visited in December and asked if they offered take out. The server stated yes. Ordered the Chop Suey, Beef and Broccolli, Rice, etc. It took very long to get the order and when we got it, rather than the food being in plastic containers, everything was placed in tied plastic bags. The leaking bags were then placed in a paper bag which broke open as I placed it on the seat of my car. I gathered the items and went back to have the order re- packaged. Two of the Staff found the ordeal quite funny. As for the food itself, it was very average. I will not be going back. Jim, Barrio Barretto, Subic Resident
We Keep Going Back for More
We've lived in Subic for a couple of years and it took us a long time before we tried this restaurant. I don't know why. We love Chinese food. Maybe because it is located inside a hotel. We usually avoid hotel restaurants. What a shame we waited so long. The food is great. Try the 3 Cup Basil Squid (or fish), the lettuce wraps and their special fried rice, but can't complain about any of the dishes that we've tried so far. They have Dim Sum too (although just a small selection) and hot pot. We're usually here for lunch at least once a week. At Chinese New Year this year, we splashed out and ordered the seafood hotpot for dinner one night. We were not disappointed. The staff is excellent too and I think most have been there for years. This is one of our top 3 restaurant picks in Subic Bay Freeport and the best of the Chinese restaurants we've tried. Highly recommended. Only downside for me is they have shark fin on the menu, but that's par for the course in Asia. I just don't order it.
our go to resto when in subic
Every time we visit subic, we would end up eating here for dinner or having take out food. And for each time we have done that, it was always a pleasure in sampling their dishes. We have tried their king dao spareribs, thier rice toppings, their noodles, hot and sour soup, yang chow fried rice and it is by far one of the best chinese restos we have eaten and I am comparing it with places we have tried even here in Metro Manila. Their dishes are very tasty and you would really come back for more. Do not be misled when you see that early in the evening, the place is almost empty. It isn't because nobody eats there. Since they are beside Hotel Venezia (a casino hotel), they say people starts flocking way late in the evening. So if you visit Subic, you will not regret eating here.
Valentine's Banquet - As Close to Hong Kong Style As You Can Get
For Valentine's this year a few of us couples got together at the New Feng Huang Restaurant on S. B. M. A. I resided in Hong Kong for almost 10 years and have always enjoyed Feng Huang for their great food and it's the true Hong Kong presentation. Starting with the fabulous Hot and Sour Soup, we then enjoyed 7 additional main courses shared by the 3 couples. To say the least, there was plenty to take home later. Super service and we were nicely surprised with the lower than expected final cost. If you are in the mood for super Chinese for lunch or dinner, be sure to make a stop at the New Feng Huang.
Surprisingly good.
Went to this restaurant for the first time because whenever I passed by it is very empty. Was in for a quick lunch and I have to say I was very surprised about the quality of food, attentive service and cleanliness. Hot and Sour Soup, Sir fried Beef with spicy sauce...... both excellent. Complimentary small coconut dessert.... will definitely come back and try more of them for a dinner.
Fantastic Chinese Restaurant in Subic
Outstanding, tasty dishes served competently by very attentive, professional wait staff. We ordered hot and sour soup and green beans stir fried with minced pork, among other things.
Best crabs
We ate a hearty lunch here. Try the yangchow, bird's nest soup and crabs. Crabs are P59per 100grams, reasonable price. The servings are big. Small portions are good for 4 to 6 pax. They also gave oit free dessert! We ordered 1 mango fruit and it was just expensive at P100. Staff are attentive, bathroom is ok. Tripadvisor should be more specific to the address. Waze directed me to a supermarket along Canal st and it took us time to find the place. Pls indicate resto is just outside Venezia Hotel.
THE BEST chinese food in subic
What can i say except the food was great specially the yang chow because it didnt have the food coloring!!!!!!! Keep it up my friend, you have improved a great great deal. Congrats to chef eddie.
Reasonably Priced Good Food
We have our lunch after checking in at Venezia. Love their steamed Lapu Lapu which is on promo! We also had the stir fried spinach, salt and pepper spare ribs which were also good. For room service, we ordered Pancit Canton but what I really loved is the chocolate filled buchi.
best yang chow
whenever my family craves for chinese food we'd always eat here. really good food and great staff. must try their yang chow, serving is good for 2. wouldn't disappoint you :)
We keep coming back!
We had been there for several times and we keep coming back. They really have a good food here in Subic. We love the Sizzling Tofu and Yangchow. Braised Spareribs is also great.
Average Chinese restaurant in Subic
My guests and I stopped over New Feng Huang to have our lunch. It's located near Grand Season Hotel Subic along Canal Road. Noticed most of the patrons are players from the adjacent Venezia Hotel casino. The restaurant looks old and the food was average. We ordered mostly vegetables as our Chinese visitors preferred less meat. The beef with broccoli flower was salty and slightly overcooked. Overall, for the price of the food, it was not that bad. If New Feng Huang is indeed the best Chinese restaurant in Subic as advertised and blogged, I guess I'll just try other cuisines in SBMA.
