Nara Prefecture is a treasure trove of temples and shrines. It is home to three World Heritage sites: " Buddhist Monuments in the Horyu-ji Area, " " Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara, " and " Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range.
