Upper Rock walking Tour
If you only have 5 hours in Gibralter and you are looking for a unique experience.. please reach out to Stephen Hill of Walk Gibralter. We were a group of 4 who wanted something outside of the ordinary and away from the cruise ship crowds. Found Stephens website and he worked with us to make sure it fit within our port schedule. I won't lie…it's a hike to the top, but one worth taking…the views are simply breathtaking and along the way to be treated to up close view of the famous Barbary Apes…this nature reserve has so much to offer.
Stephen led us on a walking tour to the top of the Rock. It was a thrill. He was knowledgeable and encouraging
Great site to climb. A lifetime memory. If you are relatively fit, (and want something to boast to your peers about), this is a hike that you'll want to experience.
Beyond my expectations
This was, by far, the highlight of my four-day visit to Gib after a four-decade hiatus. Stephen, the guide, was very knowledgeable about the history and current affairs of the place and it made the trek up the Rock much more enjoyable. I was at first a bit hesitant to sign up for the hike due to a wobbly knee, but Stephen assuaged my concerns and was very patient as we needed to slow down as necessary for me to manage the climb. The Mediterranean Steps are rather challenging, but very doable for a reasonably fit person. The stunning views from the top of the Rock are a fitting prize for the effort.

Great walk with well designed route to cove a lot of interesting sites. Stephen also gave a lot of information of history of Gibraltar. The views are fantastic! Highly recommended.

A brilliant Tour with incredible views
We took this Tour recently and it was really great. We took the harder route to the top, which was optional, and I am really glad we did. Granted it was a little difficult but anyone who is fit should have no problems and the views are well worth it. I would not have seen half of the things I did if I ha taken the cable car or a mini bus and I cannot recommend this tour enough. The guide is also a decent fella who clearly loves his country and enjoys showing people around.
