Tommy's Rock of Gibraltar Tour
Definitely the way to see and explore the Rock. Having your own guide, like Tommy, allows you to truly hear the history and culture of the historic place from the perspective of a local. Tommy was fantastic and never rushed us through any stop. His vast knowledge of Gibraltar's past history and ongoing events made this tour such a wonderful experience. We cannot thank him enough for answering all of our questions! As for the Rock, it is a must see tour; see the cave, the tunnels, the skywalk views. We did the 2 hour tour and it was truly worth the cost. Highly recommend this tour when in Gibraltar!
Local guides are the best!
Tommy was an excellent guide, such a bonus having a local. He was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. Planned a fabulous day for us… WW2 tunnels, Great siege tunnels, skywalk, St Michaels caves and shooed away the monkeys when they got too close with a rubber snake! Quick to answer questions and to recommend shops and restaurants. He patiently waited for us while we shopped and ate lunch. I highly recommend him!

Das melhores experiências que já tive na minha vida. O nosso guia, o Tommy foi espetacular. Foi muito atencioso e sempre procurou dar-nos notas sobre a história da cidade e de todas as atrações. Nota-se que tem bastante conhecimento é uma relação relativamente próxima com o macaco-de-Gibraltar. Graças a ele conseguimos tirar uma fotografia com um nos ombros. Recomendo vivamente que passe por esta experiência é que tenham o Tommy como vosso guia.

Fin tur med bil helt inn til gondolen. Vi kom fra Spania
Vi har vært her før for 5 år siden, da booket vi privat biltur på 1, 5 t, det var topp. Denne gangen tok vi kun gondolen opp og så på apene der, spiste og tok gondolen ned igjen. Hadde med oss en 3, 5 åring. Fin tur og det holdt lenge med gondolbanen denne gangen. Vi kjørte også bil helt inn, pass på at du parkerer riktig, det gjorde vi etter at vi fikk kyndig hjelp til der det var greit og parkere.

We enjoyed a family half day visit with Tommy. His knowledge of Gibraltar is impressive and he combines it with family stories of his life there. Really interesting and fun.
Gibraltar Private Tour
We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour of Gibraltar with Tommy, our expert guide! Tommy is a native of Gibraltar and tells the history of Gibraltar through the lives of his relatives and the struggles that they went through during WWII and other historic events. Tommy was informative, entertaining and respectful of our wishes at all times. His mini-van was clean and comfortable for our group of eight adults. I highly recommend a Tommy and Viator tours.
AMAZING!!!!!!
1084 / 5000 My boyfriend and I are from Portugal and decided to spend a holiday in La Linea and go to Gibraltar one day. Our Airbnb host advised us to go on these tours to save time and money. We follow his advice and when we paid we fond it a bit pricey, but let me tell you it was worth every penny! We were very pleased! Our guide was Tommy Redman and he was wonderful. I don't speak Spanish very well and I asked him to speak a little slower or in English and he did so, being careful to ask me several times during the tour if he was understanding everything! He showed us various points during the trip and he was a knowledgeable person and noticed that he was very passionate about what he was doing. He knew how to answer everything! Even historical dates! I was very impressed! In addition to showing us beautiful locations, he made sure everyone had photos of the locations and had the best experience possible! Thank you so much for the tour Tommy. I loved going to Gibraltar and having spent a few hours with you. I will recommend your tours to all my friends. See you nest time!

Assolutamente da consigliare questa salita di circa un ora e mezza alla rocca di Gibilterra, con la ottima guida di Tommy che ci ha portato con un Mercedes Vito (eravamo in 8), a vedere tutto cio che c ' era di significativo ; sicuramente da consigliare rispetto alla salita con la cable car
Goed alternatief voor kabelbaan
We wilden met de kabelbaan naar boven maar omdat er een wachttijd was van bijna 2 uur hebben we ons laten overhalen om met een busje mee te gaan. Absoluut geen spijt van, we hebben nu meer gezien dan dat we met de kabelbaan zouden zijn gegaan. Voor een paar euro meer per persoon hebben we een mooie sightseeing gehad over de berg van Gibraltar waarbij wij zowel de apen, de grot, Marokko als de grens met Spanje van grote hoogte hebben kunnen zien.

Tommy was absolutely amazing and we had an excellent trip with our family. The children loved the monkeys and Tommy helped them to have unforgettable moments. Thank you again:)

Amazing tour with Tommy Redman, AKA James Bond! Haha
We could have spent all day with Tommy. It was a slow morning and our small group of 4 had Tommy all to ourselves. He does look like Daniel Craig a bit! But he is a terrific guide who knows his stuff! If you are lucky enough to get Tommy you will not be dissappointed. For a small fee he takes you all over the rock, shows you the caves, the monkeys, all of it and gives you ample time and information. His van is neat and clan, really feels luxurious considering. He was happy to give us a great lunch tip and drove us to the restaurant at the end of the tour! Before you go to Gibraltar check the holiday schedule, we happened to be there on the Queens birthday, and some of the shops were closed. The upside it was not very crouded. Also, tip, get there early and when it says " libre " at the parking lot that means spaces available not free parking haha. We love Gibraltar, this was our second visit and agina cannot say enough good about Tommy Redman and his tour! Book him ahead of time for a private tour if you can! HE IS THAT GOOD!
Very good and unforgettable trip
I kindly recommend choose this trip with Gibraltar Sightseering. Very funny and information abundant tour operator. I like how he can communicate with abs. Know different stories and history about this place. It was very good trip and worth every paid penny.
Great tour with knowledgeable local
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Tommy, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, geography and sights of Gibraltar. His van was very comfortable, he met us promptly at the wharf, and was a very warm and friendly guide. The kids absolutely loved the tour, and loved Gibraltar!
Excellent and Insightful
Had a fantastic time with Gibraltar Sightseeing as Tommy gave an excellent and insightful tour. His local knowledge of the Rock of Gibraltar was unrivalled especially in its fascinatingly rich history and gorgeous natural wonders. A real highlight was the level of interaction that we had with the wild Barbary Macaques! Their recognition of Tommy meant we were able to come upfront and even hold the an ape!! Outstanding tour of Gibraltar!!
Tommy's tour of Gibraltar's top sights and attractions was fun, engaging and thoroughly enjoyable. His knowledge of the history of Gibraltar really is outstanding. I came to Gibraltar not really knowing much about its history and what it was but left amazed and excited to plan another trip. Tommy's passion for Gibraltarian history is incredible and made the tour interesting and unforgettable. In addition to all of that, he has a great relationship with the macaque monkeys that reside on the rock and getting the chance to interact with them genuinely made my trip. If you're planning a trip in the near future I cannot recommend Tommy's tour enough. It's an absolute MUST!!!
Fantastic trip to Gibraltar
Our tour guide Tommy was very friendly and has extensive knowledge of the history of Gibraltar. He took us to the top of the Rock of Gibraltar which included visiting St Michael's Cave and the Great Siege Tunnels and of course the Macaque monkeys. I would highly recommend him to make your trip to Gibraltar a memorable day.

We had a fantastic day visiting Gibraltar, our guide Tommy gave us an in depth tour, stopping at various points and explaining the history of Gibraltar. We highly recommend asking for Tommy if you want the best tour of the Rock.
Amazing Tour by Tommy Redman!!!!
Tommy's reputation preceded him as an outstanding tour guide, and our expectations were exceeded! We did a day trip to Gibraltar from Malaga and Tommy was helpful to us in getting there as well as being flexible with his schedule. We felt we were treated like family, we were well taken care of and benefited from his ability to transfer his love and knowledge of Gibraltar. He was a sheer pleasure! After the tour we were offered options as to our drop off point as well as shopping tips and where the locals eat. We highly recommend Tommy!

Great 3 hour tour of the main sights
We stopped in past Gibraltar for a short half day visit on route from Tarifa to Arcos. We hadn't realised that if you want to go on a Blands tour you need to book in advance. However this worked to our benefit as instead we caught a Gibraltar Sightseeing taxi tour. There was just the two of us, plus two other couples which made the tour more personal and informative. Tommy Redman, a native Gibralterian was our guide. We were picked up from just beside Customs saving us the walk or bus into town, and we had the option of being dropped off either in town or back at the airport, which suited us perfectly.
Fantastic Tour with Tommy. The only way to see Gibraltar!
We would highly recommend this tour. We recently visited Gibraltar as a family party of 9 aged from 45 to 85! The trip was a family pilgrimage back to Gibraltar for the older members of our group who had been born in Gib but had moved to England when they were children. We definitely hit lucky having Tommy Redman as our tour guide. His knowledge of the Rock was second to none. Though some of us had been up the Rock before we learnt so very much more on this tour. Nothing was too much trouble and he even took us on a little detour to the birth place of my Auntys which was wonderful. He was an absolute gentleman and really made our trip extra special. We intend to come back to Gibraltar in the near future with my children and we will definitely book another tour with Tommy. 110% value for money!
Tour with Tommy... best way to see Gibraltar
We were going to walk however we decided to pay and take the Gibraltar sightseeing tour with Tommy. The best money we spent. He gave us a great tour and insight into the various points of interest. He took the time to ensure that we got to see the main points of interest and was very knowledgeable
TOMMY IS THE BEST! This tour is a MUST DO while in Gibraltar!
Tommy was an absolutely amazing tour guide - we couldn't have done Gibraltar without him! I went with three friends and he helped us navigate getting to Gibraltar from Malaga, picked us up right after crossing the border, and gave us the best tour of Gibraltar, complete with all the top sights, incredible history lessons from Tommy, and the most interesting facts. Our experience in Gibraltar was made lightyears better because of Tommy and this tour. He helped us get close to and hang out with the monkeys. He helped us hold them and hang out with them while he took our pictures. Tommy is so incredibly nice and knowledgeable about Gibraltar having lived in Gibraltar his whole life! We hit all the top sites and then even had time for lunch and to see the city before we left. Tommy helped us plan the rest of our day and was just the best. Can't say enough awesome things about this tour!
AWESOME tour with Tommy!
This tour is 100% worth the money. Tommy was a great guide, showing us everything we needed to see and ensuring we had enough time at each stop. He was incredibly friendly, informative and made our tour a trip to remember. He made pick up and drop off easy and gave us tips for things to do after the tour and recommendations for restaurants in town. Thank you Tommy! I will 100% recommend this tour to anyone I know coming to Gibraltar.
Fabulous Tour
We were going to ride the cable car to the top of the mount, but it was closed due to winds. We lucked out. We hadn't really considered a tour, but Tommy was a good salesman. And he was a better guide. His tour was informative, highly entertaining, and worth the cost. Highly recommended.
Terrific Tour of Gibraltar with Tommy Redman
Great tour with Tommy! Traveling with my husband and 17yr old daughter, we did not book in advance but luckily found Tommy through the Taxi office. Tommy is a local, which was so wonderful, knowledgeable about the history as well as an insiders perspective. He was incredibly friendly and personable, and really made the tour fun and informative. Thank you to Tommy for making our first visit to Gibraltar memorable!

Dylan was a great guide!
Traveling with 6, including 2 ladies in their 70s. Dylan hosted us on a really fun day seeing all the sights of Gibraltar. His love of his home is obvious and that enthusiasm made the day on Gibraltar one of the highlights of our trip. We were picked up from our Windstar ship on time, shown all the sights we had wanted to see, then dropped off in the City Center to eat and shop before walking back to the boat. We had considered not getting a guide but are so glad we had one for this particular day. The streets are crazy and if you don't know exactly where you are going or what you want to see, you would never get it all in navigating on your own, or trying to use a taxi. Thanks so much to Tommy for being very responsive to all my emails and questions before the trip, and to Dylan for such a fun day. Gibraltar is beautiful!
Great tour as alternative to cable car
We booked via the official taxi office just across the border and ended up with Tommy Redman as our guide. He was knowledgable, interesting, and humorous. While we didn't book with him directly I'd still highly recommend him if he's available. If you do the short tour I'd also recommend ending the tour at the Great Siege Tunnels so that you have more time to fully explore them as well as the other attractions you can easily reach by foot on your way back down to town.
Excellent value
You will find Gibraltar Sightseeing tour buses in casemate square We were looking at the tour board in casemate square and was approached by one of the tour guide minibus drivers He explained what the tour entails the 4 stops he will do, the Barbary apes, st Michaels cave, the rock skywalk and the Great Siege Tunnels He then explained the price which was £18.00 + £12.00 entre fees so total £30.00 per-person and he needed a minimum of 4 persons, he already had 2 people waiting a French couple so we joined them All through the tour which i think was 2 hrs, he explained all the places of interest in English and French and really know his stuff We were very happy with the amount of time we had in each stop, the high light for us was that he knew the personalities of the apes and my wife had a picture with an ape sitting on her arm, he explained what you can and what you cannot do before letting the ape sit with you. The minibus driver / tour guide was Tommy Redman if you are lucky enough to have him as your guide you will be in excellent hands, he was very friendly very helpful and extremely knowledgeable a credit to is the profession many thanks for giving us a great tour and would highly recommend
Surprised by monkeys
With my friends, we were exited the whole journey and it is almost as expensive as cabine which brings you to the top for 14€, tor is 20€. Guide knows perfectly what to do with the monkeys, for you to have better experience
