Fantastic Brunch - will be back
Had a fantastic and long brunch this Sunday at the Pantry - food quality was superb and the Indian dishes were a rare treat as I have found the Philippines not very strong on other world cuisines. We had a lovely afternoon and a special thank you to Michael Kempf, one of the senior managers who looked after us magnificently and showed us round the hotel later after which i will be staying here next time I visit Manila.
Lunch Buffet at The Pantry
The lunch buffet at The Pantry is excellent, reasonably priced and they have a lot of choices. The lechon was very tender and the akin was so crispy. Service was great, specially from Mormon, who served us the most delicious mango tiramisu!!

Here's an updated version of your review: -- Great Spot to Unwind at the Thani Hotel The Pantry, located within the Dusit Thani Hotel, was the perfect place for us to relax. We ordered a few drinks along with chicken wings and a shrimp dish, and everything was excellent. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was equally enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit.
Breakfast buffet!
If you're staying at Dusit Thani, it's best to include all you can eat breakfast buffet. The Pantry is located in the lobby. They have variety of food available for breakfast. Everyone is very attentive. If you like coffee, coffee is overflowing here 😊. They have lots of pastries to choose from. egg. Mormon served us coffee bun which was so delicious. Lots of Filipino dishes available for breakfast buffet. There's an omelette station, and they'll cook the egg however you like your egg, which was good for my girl who only likes egg white. The Pantry also has a bar for you party people. 😉

Great for family celebrations
Had an awesome dinner at the Pantry with my siblings! I'm glad their service remained the same. We've been here a couple of times in the early 2000s. We chose this place to celebrate my brother's birthday for nostalgia. Ambience was good. Not too loud nor awkwardly quiet. The service was top-notch, friendly, and quick. The food was fantastic, every dish was on point. I especially enjoyed the roast lamb. For dessert, chocolates were tempered well but my favorite was the baklava Making a reservation was easy, too. I sent them an email and they respond quickly.
Just ok buffet
The salmon was the best choice here if you like lechon you would enjoy it here it's good. Pizza is a " no go " over all you paying for atmosphere other buffets in the city are better

We had breakfast at the pantry, the breakfast buffet was very limited and repeated daily, the only good thing was the coffee and their quick service.
Wonderful experience at the Pantry
Had breakfast at The Pantry and the food was wonderful! Kudos to the team, Marinel, Olly and Emay who made it very comfortable for me and my family. Zaldy assisted us as well and overall, everyone was very cordial. Food was delicious and fresh... would come back for future visits.

Delicous food. Good service
We celebrated by sister's birthday here. Servings was big, good quality delicious food and lots of choices from burgers, steaks, pastas etc. Serving was quick too. Its a good place to celebrate an ocassion.
Great food attached to a hotel, where it's great to stay
I must write another review about the pantry and Dusit Thani because I was so impressed with their service. I had a long stay of 2 weeks. In that time I was always greeted with a smile by Mary Joy in the front. After a few days she knew my name, which made a difference specially when you are far away from home for so long. Then inside the food was incredible and the servers are so nice, wish I can name them all to give them all credit for their amazing work. They make sure you have your drink of choice and you have a lot of variety of food to make sure there is something for all. Fresh fruit is always on point and sliced and selected carefully by Arra, who always even behind her mask greeted me with a smile. For those wishing to stay as well in the hotel and have the opportunity to have access to the lounge; Michelle, Allaizah, Shaina and Assael, were always welcoming and very attentive to all guest. Always a smile and happy to serve. My room need and cleanliness was amazing as well. Che-ann made sure I always had water and a clean room. Did I mention, complimentary water, which is great after a long flight or walking in Manila. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff! Come stay here and enjoy beautiful Manila, or grab a bite at the Pantry :).
Overflowing serving that is worth of every cents you spent
The breakfast buffet at The Pantry is certainly awesome! The place is very spacious and the ambiance is very relaxing. We did try to call for a room service on our first night and my gosh, the serving for each order are pretty overflowing. We ordered " The Club " sandwich and I thought that it is good for one person only and when it arrived, we were shocked because it was more than enough for me and my wife. On our second night, we ate our dinner at " The Pantry ". I ordered the sizzling sisig and my wife ordered tinolang manok. Once again, the serving was too much for us and we can't eat them all. The sisig was well cooked and it tasted so so good. The tinola was on point and we liked it so much as it served the Filipino taste tinola. Since we were not able to ate them all, we asked for it to be packed for take out. I would like to personally thank the staff specifically Jen for assisting us. We'll definitely come back for more!

Taho at Dusit Thani Manila
I was encouraged to try Taho at Dusit Thani, Manila. This traditional sweet dessert was served by Edito, who is dressed in traditional costume with the traditional Filipino friendly smile. Taho has a mildly sweet toffee flavour, it reminded me of junket or curds and whey. I suggest you try it. You will hear Edito in The Pantry at the breakfast buffet.
Disappointed
We had just come from eating at Benjarong Thai restaurant in the same hotel (Dusit Thani hotel) we decided we wanted to continue our get together and have coffee and pastries (either take home or will eat at the coffeeshop for the pastries) we had already found seats and I stood up to use the restroom. When I returned my friends we're getting ready to leave and mumbled something like we had just come from your other restaurant and just wanted to have coffee! Apparently the server had told them that there was a minimum spend of P500 per person (not per table). This is a first I've heard of a Hotel imposing a minimum spend not that we were not willing to spend (we had just had our lunch in the same hotel) we were put off by the attitude / policy. The Pantry was not even full, I can imagine if you had a line going and all tables were full (it was more empty that full actually) Maybe the hotel management should look into this as this doesn't seem very hospitable. I will definitely not return to this hotel as there are other places happy to serve people even if they just want coffee!
First Class Restaurant
We celebrated Christmas Day at The Pantry, it was a fantastic event, with the best food and beverage provided. Fresh quality buffet and cooking stations with a combination of local and international cuisine. As we were staying at the hotel, we also enjoyed one of the best daily breakfasts we have ever had. Even if you are not staying would absolutely make a reservation for the Pantry.
Excellent Christmas
All our needs were met in an Excelllent manner even with the high rate of guest occupancy. The Breakfast Buffet had a wide selection of food. We really enjoyed all of the morning meals during the entire stay. The food was very nicely prepared and kept fresh at each station. This is an awesome Hotel with its wonderful staff at the Front Desk, In-room Dining, The Pantry, and Housekeeping (Merlot Dagohoy, Lester Syndionco, Cpt Emmanuael, Cpt Dharl, Editho, and Ramon Acuesta). They made our Christmas stay very special this Holiday season. The Dusit Thani Manila continues to keep us " completely at ease. " We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Service Deluxe
It was a nightmare to book for the Worldcup Finals and most Hotels in Makati turned down our booking / reservation. Thank God theres Pantry of Dusit Thani and a good Manager to help us arrange our pre order Dinner. A table for 10pax was hard to find. Fortunately. I added the Pantry Manager on my whatsapp and was able to arrange everything whilst still on the road from an out of town trip. We were all tired and arrived on time and food was served after 20 minutes. There were some orders that were delayed but they managed to serve fast. Prices are reasonable in my opinion considering the portion and the hotel itself. The hotel is located at the central area and walking distance to all the big malls in Makati and major transportation too. We enjoyed the food and watching the finals with friends from different countries was memorable. Its the service that counts, all the rest follows.
Feels like home
I came back at this same hotel and ate at same restaurant because the staff were warm and friendly. Low and behold the staff remembered me. Excellent Service / Experience
We had excellent experience at The Pantry. We were having breakfast and as everyone knows that buffet breakfasts are always a chaos. Among all the chaos, Kriza at the pantry was a superstar! From the first greeting with a smile on her face to each and every request we had, she was on top of it. There was NO delay in the service and that was on top of her serving other guests as well. Thank you Kriza for your excellent service. If nothing else, we will surely be back because of your excellent service!
Attentive and friendly staff
Nice selection of food at the buffet breakfast (The Pantry) and the restaurant staff were very helpful and all smiles. Kudos to Krizza and Edito (not sure with his name since his nameplate is very shiny LOL) for being so attentive. And we also loved Dusit's idea of serving fresh taho in their breakfast options. Good job for Manny for bring all those ramekins in his taho baskets for still serving us even though we hesitated the first time he offered it to us. LOL.

Al Fresco Dining Experience at The Pantry
The Pantry of Dusit Hotel is one of my recommended places when it comes to health and safety criteria. My friends and I were so fortunate to got a table beside a pond - it was a few meters away from other guests. I loved the ambience and the overall service of The Pantry. Of course, the food they served to us were so amazing. Let me share some of my favorites: 1. Jambalaya (my second favorite dish) 2. Grilled Talakitok 3. Grilled Meats and Sausages 4. Shrimp and Corn (my most favorite) 5. Seafood Boil 6. Pork Lechon This Geaux Louisiana BBQ set up is only available from Friday to Saturday and a reservation is a must. Overall, I highly recommend The Pantry of Dusit Hotel to be your perfect place for a romantic date or family dinner. 👌
One of the BEST!!! Great food!
(We stayed last 2019, there is no option for this) The restaurant " The Pantry " is one of the best buffet restaurant in a hotel that I have ever been. They have different international cuisine (Lot's and lot's of food! They had Lechon which I missed a lot, well a lot of Filipino foods and seafood also), I want to try it all but I'm so full because the food was so delicious (hot, fresh and the area was super clean) different options of drinks, juices, etc. The dessert was mouth watering, luscious, colorful, rich... I am not exaggerating but the sweet area was a blast of sugar, cakes, gummy bears for kids, pudding, halo halo (filipino dessert), I mean a lot of choices. The staff was great and always available to help. My kids really enjoyed the foods and my Spanish partner also loved the Asian foods. We will surely come back :)

Great food
Been here twice. One for evening snacks and the other, more recent, for breakfast. Food selection and taste are very good, interiors are very luxurious as well. There was even a taho kuya last December. I just didn't like how they made guests line up for the breakfast buffet.
Sad birthday dinner
Dusit Thani is known to have good restaurants so I decided to try The Pantry for my birthday dinner celebration. The place is beautiful but the food is nothing great. There are very few selections for an international buffet and they hardly replenished the food. Most food items did not look appetizing except for the freshly roasted lechon. I had to ask the chef if they were still going to add food because they didn't even seem to warm up what was already there. I really hope they improve their food presentation because the other restaurants in Dusit are superb. The service and ambience are great that's what compensated it for me.
Amazing variety of tasty food
Breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever experienced. So many different cuisines it is just too much to try it all. Fresh and delicious - congrats to all the chefs. Staff are also so good.

Food choices on their New year's Day Special Breakfast
My wife and I are frequent visitors of these Hotel. This time, we had our daughter with us when we checked-in on the 31st of Dec and stayed until 2 Jan 2020. The overall stay was good as usual. However, we have always been happy and satisfied when dining at The Pantry but not this time. The food choices in my opinion was not satisfactory for me and my family. Replenishment of items or when trays are empty, it's very slow and even at times, we needed to inform the chef / staff, what needed to be refilled. The most frustrating incident was a specific dish that I had earlier that morning and when asked to be replenished (with 48 mins before end of service), they won't bring out more for what reason, not known to us. Again, I have been a loyal patron of these hotel but I was disappointed this time around. I brought this sentiments to the F & B Manager but I hope higher management would see these comments and would do necessary action as appropriate.
Great Breakfast Buffet
The Pantry is awesome! We were staying at the Dusit Thani and our room came with breakfast vouchers. The breakfast has pretty much anything you would want. Cold cereals, milks, fine cheeses and meats, yogurt, fresh fruit, salad bar, pancakes, waffles, french toast, egg bar, pastries, lots of meats, Indian cuisine, rice, ramen, dimsum, etc. Very well prepared by world-class chefs. The servers are all properly trained to provide a luxurious experience. Everything was perfect every time we ate here. At night the pastry counter discounts all of their items for 50% off, breads, pastries, deli sandwiches, etc. There's a gelato counter as well. Very nice atmosphere, world-class all the way. Check out the Pantry; you'll love it!
Comfortable
We decided to have dinner at The Pantry because it wasn't as crowded as other places. It was a great decision as the food and desserts were good plus we could hear each other while lounging on their comfortable chairs. The servers were also friendly and attentive. It's a good place to talk, have coffee or a meal. Enjoyed it :).
Lunchtime at The Pantry, Dusit Thani
Compared to other Buffet Restaurant I have tried, this one was very Good and Nice as well. Its my first time dining at The Pantry and its worth a buck. Had lunch with my Family and they enjoyed it very much. Especially my brother who is very Picky and would prefer Seafood / Vegetarian dishes. Good job
Lots Of Varieties Buffet Breakfast
Breakfast buffet has lots of varieties from local, western, japanese, thai, indian and vegetarian. There are 2 counters with made to order egg station and soup noodle station. My favourite is pork ham with pineapple sauce and massala tea. You can order latte, cappucino, mocha, hot chocolate, etc. I also enjoyed taho (beancurd dessert). The staff are pleasant and provide good service.
The Pantry
We had our breakfast buffet at the pantry. I would say it has same range or variety of food with another 5 star hotels in the metro like ascott and shangrila but I would recommend the wait staff who accommodated us, he was very pleasant to deal with and polite. I was with my parents who are both seniors and the staff were very respectful. They even sang and serenaded my father who celebrated his birthday on that day.
Fnice dining environment and good service
I have breakfast here once or twice a month, and sometimes I would have special request such as being away from people. Everytime I got my request fulfilled and really enjoy the service by the smile staff.
Food alacarte is sooo good
pinakbet con lechon and karenare so uniquely cooked. If you taste dish Filipino dish cooked in thisxstyle maybe you dont want to try others. The meat is from their in house roast pig so tender and juicy with kare kare in a big bone short rib presentation. what a good combination with their special hot thai rice with a very good aroma you want to keep eating more!!! Definitely a must try and you dont want to missed it.
Breakfast Buffet at the Pantry
We decided to have our breakfast at The Pantry at Dusit Thani Manila and we really enjoyed our morning meal. Expectations were even exceeded when we were able to have Taho for breakfast which is quite rare in hotels. All the food that we sampled were served fresh & delicious, especially the fresh salad and sumptuous fruits. We did a lot of tasting from the various selections that they had. Highly recommendable before starting the day.
Best Selection For Lunch Buffet
Our family love this place. Breakfast or Lunch buffet. Staff is efficient. Recomended to call in first for a table. Great mediteranean station, Filipino and Indian food. Also the dessert station does not disappoint.
Great selection and friendly service
I ate breakfast here for about 2 weeks while staying at the Dusit Thani hotel. As a vegetarian, there was a great selection of food for me to eat. They cater to most international cuisine types too. Food was always up to a good standard.
Our holiday
It was really good to meet a few members of the crew. Very friendly and accomodating with all our needs. Cleanliness and fast service are done really well. i've met Aljoann, Ken and Edito - who does provide good services and friendliness Teng and Christian from the concierge as well are very friendly. All in all we were satisfied with the Dusit Thani and we will try to come back again together with my daughter :)
Breakfast - Lunch or Dinner the Pantry is perfect - great service - great food and Beef Rendang !
I am usually alone when I eat in the Pantry and yet the staff always now KNOW I am the Beef Rendang guy. I like this in anycase but its the best here outside of Malaysia. - the Long Island Ice Tea should carry a health warning - one is enough ! :)
Over the top breakfast
There was so much to choose from I felt like I was in Las Vegas. From local cuisine to traditional egg omelettes and everything in between it was a very satisfying experience. The fresh fruit was ripe, the pastries were oven fresh, and the cappuccinos were very smooth. There was way too much to choose from to try everything.
great service
I stayed at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Manila for 11 days. Each morning I enjoyed their breakfast at The Pantry. The Food & Staff were excellent. there were so many staff members to thank with their smiles and attitude. Staff members whose names pops us are " Editor ", " Dana " & " Mich ".. I highly suggest becoming a regular here at the Dusit as well as their fine restaurant, The Pantry

great ambiance, love the Lechon. Good that the HSBC offered half the price, so we did try out, the juices are included in the price. Will definitely come back to this place.
Great food
Breakfast has always been great in Dusit. Ace makes sure I have everything that I need and promised my mango for breakfast. Edito delivered warm taho as promised and brought me samplers of native desserts. I will really need to hit the gym during my stay because I sample each food that they offer.

Breakfast here are super delicious!!! So many choices especially filipino dishes we miss so much. And the staff are all so helpful and attentive specially Ace and Edito 👍.
Great Breakfast Selection
The dining room is very nice. The buffet has alot of selections. Egg station, cereal station, fruit station, bread / pastry station, meat station and others. The service is great. They keep your water tea or coffee filled. Also very timely to clear dirty dishes. Then there is the food. Lots of philipino dishes. Everything I ate was delicious. Worth the money if the breakfast isn't included in your room. So full after every breakfast and I wanted more.
I entertained friends at The Pantry
Every day I have different guests at The Pantry. It is an awesome place to entertain. I love the freshly made fruit juices especially the Mango. I also look forward to seeing the crew of The Pantry. They are friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable. They all wear that friendly sweet smile. The Taho guy, he is funny and quick to serve. The food selection is varied: American, Filipino, Indian, Chinese, Asian, European, etc. The food is delicious. The best time to eat is between 6:00 Am to 8:00 Am. After that, it is packed. I love the Filipino sweets and the fruit selections. There is Champorado, Congee, Noodle soup, Samosa, croissants, yogurt, omelettes, and many more. The crew gives you time to select food and eat. I recommend this place.
Great way to start the day
Was on a two days business trip. Your breakfast team earns top marks - great ideas to start the day with small extras you'll remember. Day 1 got at smiley on my cappuccino and day 2 a taste of PH street food called " Taho " offered by an enthusiastic fellow called Johan (hope I got his name right). The BF services definitely gets my thumbs up even the place was very busy.
Dining in classy style
Excellent food and the presentation is spectacular. I tried Taho for the first time. Warm delight in a cup. Brings out the Philippines experience into a greater light.
Chilling out after dinner @ uptown mall BGC
We stop at by at the pantry bar to enjoy Happyyyy hour at the bar after dinner just chilling out and having fun time... and good conversation with the bar tender Anton and carlo very attentive bar staff and friendly entertaining my guest / relatives.. after returning from bankok trip two wks later and checking back again at dusit thani they remember us by name... this kind of guest services that keep us from coming to dusit thani makati
Great selection but not the best I have had
We only tried the buiffet breakfast once during our stay at Dusit Thani. There is quite a huge selection as one would expect of a 5 star hotel. Its not the best buffet I have tried but still ranks as a very good one. There is a mix of options from various countries.
Fantastic service from Edito Amazona
During my 4 days conference, i have had breakfast and lunch in the hotel, the food is ok but me and my colleagues received a great service from Mr, Edito Amazona. He is always there with a smile, serve with high passion and professional. Really an example for every staff in the restaurant.

Breakfast
The breakfast is always splendid at the Dusit, Great choice of everything you could ever want to eat, the staff are always friendly and cannot do enough to make your meal enjoyable. This morning we had puto and kutsinta served like the street vendors from the stainless steel buckets you see them carrying around the Philippines. (Thank you Edito) Just something a little different that adds to the experience. Now what should I have now to finish my breakfast ? Maybe a bowl of Taho!
No Japanese.. Not well ventilated.. Great seafoods and Dessert
Celebrated our 16th Anniversary here. Dinner Buffet on a Friday night. Ambience: Very cozy. I love their interior. The droplights that resembled a group of candles, clever. Hotel / Restaurant AC was not working well, it was too hot that we had to ask to be moved infront of an indoor AC. The Lechon rotisserie actually makes the place hotter. Hope they fix this problem. The chairs tho are not comfy. It gave me and my hubby a backache. There's no backrest for the single chairs. It's only like a handrest extended to the back. No cushion.. You'd have to keep your back straight all the time to keep you from hurting your upper back with that piece of wood. If there's only two of you, they won't sit you at the couches.. There was a live acoustic band playing while we eat. It's just funny that they were set up at the stairs of the hotel instead of a stage or a ledge atleast. Service: One of the best people we have encountered. So accommodating, always available for our needs. Smile and greet all the time. Thank you. Food: No sushi / japanese section. That is actually odd. I don't know if there's a reason for this but i cannot remember any hotel buffet that do not serve japanese. No steak carving too. Just lechon, crispy pata and pork loin (for the ramen). I am not a fan of these 3, so it's kinda disappointing for me. I was hoping to eat steak that night. Cheese and tapas selections are only 3 for each. Fruits are aplenty and are really fresh and juicy. Seafoods are abundant. I didn't mind getting my hands dirty for the very yummy prawns and crabs. They all tastes great and you can pour in all the butter you want on them. Desserts are great! I love the variety of pastries, that pairs perfectly with their superb black coffee. Price : Good only when you are using eatigo at 50% disc. But i honestly don't think it is reasonable on its regular rate. Overall a good experience. I was just expecting more food selections and a cooler place. I would only recommend it for budget eaters using 50% discount vouchers.
A treat to my family
My siblings were home from overseas and they wanted to go buffet, and I chose this shop. They were impressed not only with how elegant the place is and how courteous the staff were but above all the food they chose to eat were all good. We were rushed since we came in late after lunch. Despite that we still enjoyed the whole dining experience especially my mother who only ate Shrimp :)

Excellent service with good food but main dish has few selections. When we dined, carving station only had lechon while Japanese station only had ramen. They had steamed seafood such as shrimps, crab and salmon. Desserts and assorted fresh fruits were great. Juices, coffee and tea are free.
Thank You for the Service...... and finding my IPad
After a meeting at the hotel me and my wife decide to grab a quick merienda at The Pantry. All of the staff were really courteous especially the ones wearing the black uniform. We ordered some sliders 🍔 which were really good. After this we went to another meeting then went home. 3-4 hours later my wife realized that she was missing her iPad Pro. I quickly called the restaurant and was so glad that it was still in the restaurant. We would like to thank the staff for this. Our visit was last April 16 Monday at around 5-5:30PM.

Coffee and Pastries
Was in the area for a meeting and decided to have a quick coffee and pastries at The Pantry, pleasantly surprised by the size of the pastries (I had sticky cinnamon bun and my friend had chocolate croissant and a cookie) it was delicious and perfect match for the coffee, loved it!
Excellent Buffet
Return trip to the Pantry for the holidays and it remains my favorite spot for buffet dining. Especially the breakfast buffet. A huge amount of food and good selections within each food group. For example: eggs, any style freshly made, including a pan of scrambled, a Frittata, Quiche, and omelets. Abundance of fresh sweet fruit, always like to see that, breads, rolls and sweets. Freshly made waffles and pancakes. And of course enormous amount of Filipino food. I could go on and on, trust me, there is more food here to chose from and if you can not find something to eat, you have a problem. Watch them cooking the Lechon for dinner.
Winner
Granting that this is a bit small compared to some buffet places, but this works well for us since it comes out as intimate and cozy because the lightings are nice not glaring. The food displayed and served are well thought, well laid, and well prepared that you can't bypass any of the dish. We love the seafood selection and the Roast pig! Sadly they don't have sushi and sashimi, but they do have Ramen section. The staff are warm and friendly and attentive contributing to the awesome dining experience :)
Awesome food and service
We had breakfast and some other meals here at the Pantry over our weeks stay. Lots of choice, flavor and selections for most nations. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. The dining area looks clean and tidy. A good bar area to sit and chat over a glass of fine red wine.
Crossover experience!
We finally had a chance to eat at " The Pantry " with a crossover at " Uma " I must say its different. Here are the reasons why: 1. Two different themes joined by their promo - that is you don't mind walking to the other side. 2. Scallops, shrimps and beef tepanyaki galore at Uma! 3. Top it off with unlimited wine just add an additional 200+ 4. Wide array of seafood 5. On the spot cooking if the Carbonarra grated with a parmessan wheel cheese I would recommend seating at " The Pantry " rather than at " Uma " as there venue is bright and overlooking both the garden and the streets plus their music is pleasant.

Food and Staff
What makes your meal sometimes nicer is when the staff are attentive to your needs and requests without being obtrusive. The Pantry offers good food and the variety is not overwhelming. Tables are spaced properly so privacy is maintained. Has a nice view of the street.
The BEST STAFF
The dinner buffet is the best I have ever had. HALLAL food is a nice touch. They have the best chef in Manila. Thai food, Indonesian food and international cousins. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I ordered some special soup, Tom Yum Gong, a special shrimp soup, and it was made by their chef in minutes. Special thanks to Zakdy. I LOVE U ALL.
Amazing breakfast buffet and cocktail hour
Entrance to the restaurant has this interesting cakes decorated with frosting that looked like winter wonderland. Upon check in at the hotel, I was asked if I was interested in adding breakfast to my hotel stay and since we were tired when we checked in we thought breakfast in the hotel was a good idea. It was the right decision. There was an array of choices, a feast for your eyes and stomach, although in my case it was more for my eyes. What is interesting is that while we were having breakfast, The restaurant was starting to roast 2 pigs to be ready for lunch. This is truly new to me, actually seeing a pig roast inside the restaurant In the afternoon from 5:30 _8:00 pm, the restaurant has a great happy hour with good choices for wines, beer and cocktail.
Authentic Buffet Dining Experience
It was my birthday and I thought why not treat my special friends for a Saturday lunch buffet at the freshly renovated The Pantry in Dusit Thani Manila. The Hotel underwent a major lobby transformation including their F & B outlets and I am quite impressed with the transformation. My last visit in this hotel was over 2 years ago and it was still the " old " Dusit Thani Manila. The Pantry showcases authentic dishes from Thailand, essential Filipino cuisine, exquisite Italian dishes and wines, a spread of Middle Eastern (or is it Indian dishes?), a circus of desserts, among others. The flavor plus the good service of the crew are commendable. The weekend buffet rate though is too pricey! Best to avail credit card promotions or wait for discounts.

宿泊プランに朝食が付いていたのでほぼ毎日利用しました。 一応ホテルの公式では朝6：00～とありますが、更に早朝に出発するビジネスマンなどが結構いるため、実際はもっと早くから利用できます。5：45くらいには自分の他に10人以上お客さんがいました。 とても綺麗で広々。ドーナツやワッフル、フレンチトースト (この傍にお子さんが大好きなカラフルなグミやマシュマロが沢山ありますよ！) を含むベーカリーコーナー、和食洋食、飲茶、ハラル対応食、フィリピン料理、オーダーできる卵料理、フルーツや冷製コーナー (サラミやチーズ類、スモークサーモンが並んだ日も) 等々・・・とてもとても試食さえもしきれない品数です。好きな席に着くと、スタッフが飲み物を聞きに来ます。もちろん一角にセルフのジュースコーナーがあります。 料理内容はごく一部変わるが、ほぼ同じように見えました。ですがもとから半端ない品数が並ぶので、飽きたり困ったりすることはなさそうです。 ガラス張りの焼き場では、朝からフィリピンの代表的な料理レチョン (豚の丸焼き) がMAXで2頭串刺しでグリルされています。私は平気ですが、動線上絶対視界に入る位置。絵的＆宗教的にNGな人もいそうだなぁと思いました。 サンデーブランチ(大人1人2500php) がある日は激混みですのでご注意を。
New buffet in the Dusit Thani, selection could be better
I was a fan of Basix, the restaurant that the Pantry replaced. Yes, the Pantry is brighter, more modern and has a better atmosphere, but I would have wished that the food selection would also step up - which you can argue that it didn't. The selection is decent, roast beef station is good, and salads are ok. However, the pre-prepared food was nothing special, and the stations themselves were limited. I didn't see a sushi / sashimi station (hopefully they have one by now) and the pasta could improve. Still, I like this place because the staff are friendly and they recognize me when I show up, but, I really want them to improve on the food.

朝食付き宿泊プランにて利用。Dusit Thani内のレストランは宿泊時(2016年2月)メインレストランBasix と イタリアンレストランTrino、ホテルショップはクローズしていて、ここか、日本レストランUmuしか開いていないせいもあるかもしれないが、休日の朝にも関わらず家族連れなどでとても混んでいた。ランチやディナーは予約した方がよさそう。それほど広くはない店内だがカフェ風な内装で、大変綺麗。料理もどれもきちんと美味しく朝から気分も上がる。便利な場所だし、ホテルブッフェとしては値段も手頃そうなのでこれからも人気が続くのではないだろうか。正確な価格が不明の為、評価を１つ減らしたが２月中のランチプロモーションの価格は手頃な模様(写真参照のこと)。機会のある方は１度行ってみられると良い。
Enormous buffet, spectacular food choices and great service
Enjoyed the buffet breakfast for 7 mornings during our New Year Eve holiday. The Pantry replaces Basix and has been situated on the opposite side of the hotel lobby. The area is bright and airy with lots of windows. The selection of food is enormous, from basic breakfast items to Asian and Filipino items, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, full assortment of bread, sweets rolls, eggs made to order, juices, coffee, etc. At the far end there is a full display of hot food items, many you would enjoy for lunch or dinner but was offered here for the breakfast buffet. A new feature is a glass enclosed pit with baby pig (lechon) being spit roasted. The service personnel are excellent, being that it is high turnover and always busy. Tables are cleaned and reset instantly. And they remember your coffee / tea choices from day to day. Hats off to Joan who always greet you with a smile. Mark and the coffee baristas always efficient and pleasant. All staff including hostesses were very accommodating. This is a spectacular buffet and if not included in your rate, certainly well worth the price. There is a take out counter also and other bottled and packaged goods for sale. And a chocolate counter.
Awesome experience - good food, reception to food servers - service was excellent!
Had Saturday lunch buffet here, we used discount from Eatigo. Staff were very friendly, ready to assist and wonderful people skills. From reception to food servers, it was excellent. We would like to compliment Aljoann and Eldito our waiter, they were kind, pleasing and always on the look out on how they can assist us. We told their Manager Lester, and we can see he is also outstanding.. he trained his staff well. We enjoyed the food too.. especially loved the pizza, baked macaroni, cold cuts.. Ramen was amazing, had two bowls, bonito flakes was heavenly on it and broth was tasty. Hope to visit this lovely dining place again. Thank you.
Food not very fresh
I love buffets, and decided to give The Pantry a go. I had recently eaten in the Thai resto at Dusit, which was really good, so I assumed The Pantry would be too. However the sushi was so limited and not good, the cakes were so dry I could not eat them, the shrimps were over cooked (could not get them off the shell) and overall was dissapointed. I did enjoy the Indian section, and the salad was OK. But overall it put me off eating there again. By the way, I got there at the beginning of the lunch hours, so food should have been fresh. I hope they better the quality in the future..

Present Dining
Nice place for some good food, plesent staff very attentive and friendly. Sit by the bar if you fancy a chat, the bar tender, Kin is a nice guy and is always ready for a chat and info on Manila. Recommended a dish which I truly enjoyed! Thanks Kin!
Pantry is the coffee shop / Breakfast for the Hotel Dusit Thani
This where buffet breakfast is served. Place looks very congested at peak time of 8.30 to 9.30 am. Refills are slow to come by. There are two Hot counters so the Q gets limited and once order is placed they find your table and serve so that one does not have to wait while the order is being made. Was glad to find a good range of Indian Breakfast items everyday with changing variety each day.

Big place to accommodate large number of guest at one time. with plenty of breakfast option, nice bakery with good Chef & very good team of smiling, never tired serving staff.
Superb!
Spent our 16th wedding anniversary at The Pantry Dusit. Availed of the 50% off dinner buffet Citibank promo that cut our dinner cost from 2, 200 to 1, 100 per plate. The buffet offered a variety of international cuisines from Filipino, Thai, Indian, Japanese to Western and the flavors were terrific. Our meal was complemented by a bottomless wine promo at only 490 per head. The deal offered white wine that we matched with our fish, crustaceans and salad and then later on red wine that we matched with our meat from the carvery.
Nice lunch buffet
Had been having lunch there during an event over 2 days. Found the amount of choices of different food. Some great Indian dishes. Some nice pork dishes and sausages. I found it overall to be above the usual hotel restaurant level.
Fancy Shmancy
Came here for a very important meeting. The place of course is decent since its a hotel. However, the service is poor compared to the Shangri-La or Sofitel. We chose to have the meeting at The Pantry. Their menu was given to us. I went out of my way to inquire about the buffet which the information area told me was an " all day buffet ". I clarified if " all day buffet meant that I could invite my companions for a buffet, and I was given a very confident " YES " as an answer a look that made me feel " of course, how stupid ". In the Pantry, I ordered some tea for everybody (I was planning to offer the buffet in the middle of the meeting) and I was told to order some food. It irritated me since it made me feel forced to order something. I mean, it won't hurt to wait a bit and it certainly won't make a difference if I spend later or at the moment for something in the place aside from 6 sets of tea which costs more than your usual 5 star tea place anywhere in the world. The " all day buffet " experience was not an all day buffet after all. We had our meeting about 3 in the afternoon and by 4pm I invited my clients if they wanted to join us, my business partners and I, for a buffet. When I asked the server what the buffet offered, they informed me that it will start by 6. I was again unsatisfied with that. The end of things: My clients left thanking us for the tea, and the pastry. Did not have time for buffet. But since I reserved the buffet, and since I left my credit card, I was charged for the whole thing already (I know I could have just had it reverted but seemed like they need some sales since it felt like the staff were on their toes over sales) They actually reverted the amount they charged me for my clients so instead of paying for more than 15k, I was just charged for 6k++. So I invited my business partners to eat. The verdict: Food was okay. I will not spend 6k++ of money for a place that serves lechon with rubbery skin, and some pica-pica of fish balls. the food selections looked good but they were just okay. The dessert area looked fancy but there were not good. The whole experience: Professionalism is key to success. I think the staff needs training. The menu needs some kind of an overhaul. My Dust Thani experience was unsatisfactory. Advise: Want to have a meeting? Go someplace else like (around Manila) Sofitel, Manila Hotel, Diamond Hotel, (around Makati) Shangri-La, New World Hotel, Manila Pen. Want to eat? Go to Vikings. Money wise, better than Dusit's. Service wise and respect for their guests (professionalism) - better than Dusit's.

Bad Service
Usually when we go to breakfast buffets, once seated, we are asked if we want some coffee to start the day right. But as I was so hungry, went straight to the buffet tables while my wife stayed at the table. Before going back I passed by the coffee machine but since in was inaccessible, waited for someone to assist. Seeing it was a waste of time, went back to my table and approached a server for coffee. It took me 3 servers in a span of 15 mins to get my coffee. They were zooming in and out of the area but NO COFFEE!!!
Delicious and sumptious
The buffet dinner was superb. The food spread is wide. The Ramen section is well managed handled by Ms. Marya Mutya who is clean and efficient. Soup is always kept hot. And of course the main attraction which is the roasted pork Lechon is crispy and great. Only, set back is they should have incorporated some sashimi in the Japanese food section.
Quality buffet spread; good vibes
We come here for coffee or for the buffet. It's family friendly and the staff are always accommodating. The quality of food in the buffet is really very good and I would choose this place anytime over other hotel buffets in the area.

Wide range of dishes
I was here for breakfast and I must say they have a wide range of dishes available for everyone. I can safely say that no one will feel left out or will have a lack of choices.
Poor breakfast
The breakfast is kind of international styles which makes it worse as they can't even make like a pro. Most of the food is so salty or u just want to throw out... seriously worst cook. What's worst thing I saw the staff picked up a piece of pineapple from ground and water it and put it back to the rest of furit. -_-!
Big breakfast serving + excellent service
For most hotels I've been to, in the Philippines and in many cities overseas, breakfast is almost always mediocre when ordered a la carte. Just the normal white plate and very dull styling, with the food usually equally dull-tasting. So, what a pleasant surprise to see such gorgeous plating (literally the plates are gorgeous) in the breakfast meals at The Pantry At Dusit. We ordered the omelette and the 3 eggs / bacon combo. Great taste, beautiful plating and actually big servings. Equally admirable are the whole staff at The Pantry. Overall, as a team, they were all warm, professional and prompt. Special compliment to Cora, the roving manager, who sincerely said Hi to each table and checked on the guests. Hope she gets a salary increase and moves up in the property in position. Very excellent also is Ken Alarcon, the staff member assigned to our table, who was very proactive. He checked on us several times, to ask if we needed anything, helped arrange our meals on the table to make room for all of them and correctly predicted I was a frequent water drinker. Hope he is given a salary increase and a higher position. Despite the busy-ness of the breakfast rush, The Pantry never made me feel rushed and left out. They were able to still make things personal and heartfelt. I would come back because of the staff. The plating and food too.

There's a lot of food choices for everyone, its fun for family vacation. Its not a waste of time and money.
Average breakfast buffet
Buffet selection was average and a bit disappointing for a hotel like the Dusit Thani. Compared to the rest of our stay the breakfast wasn't up to what we thought it should be.
Nothing special
Its ok for what it is and the food mixed types. Breakfast overpriced and over rated. We had to que for a table which is not what you would expect from a 4 / 5 start hotel.
Selection is great, the service, impeccable
Lots of choices, and even though they may have less than other buffets, each dish is carefully prepped and tastes good. Servers at each station are knowledgeable, and can adjust serving sizes upon request.

Different varieties of food you can enjoy from.. from Filipino food to other Asian and Western food.. not only quantity but with quality.. waiters are all attentive, and we really appreciate the service. Highly recommended! Would like to come back again :)
Great place to stay in Manila
Dusit is our preferred hotel in Manila for number of years. Many advantages, location, safety, security, staff and facilities are outstanding. Breakfast at the Pantry is a treat, vast selection of foods available for any taste, staff attentive and very professional. The Boss lady have all under control the whole breakfast running as a one well oiled machine indeed. All staff are great but the " Star " of the team was man named Edito Amazona he went beyond his daily duties every day we stayed there, great team member and start of the Team when we visited. Highly recommended Hotel to stay in manila. Many thanks Team from the pantry. Great work.
Healthy and Organic Buffet Lunch / Dinner
The buffet Lunch affair at The Pantry is calming affair. There is no sense of urgency and patrons are seen having their meals leisurely and seems to be savoring every moment of the occasion. Although the food offered on the counters are not as many as one would find at other buffets, here.. less is more. Because the foods have been selected properly and it is more of Quality rather than Quantity. There's even a Green Corner where all the mostly green ingredients are organic and were grown by the restaurant's own 'gardens'. Hence, the entire corner contained fresh and organic food. The Pantry had just be awarded a Halal status kitchen and it proudly has a Halal Corner with delicious dishes made out of Halal ingredients including the various meats. The freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices are also part of the Buffet offering... awesome !!
4 stars for the Lechon!
I don't know with everyone else, but they had the only lechon I honestly love. The meat was delicate, fresh and perfectly seasoned and roasted. It was far better than any of the most famous lechon brands I had anywhere, including Cebu's. Even forgot to take a picture because I had to enjoy right away. In fact, I am going again next weekend to see if this quality is consistent and the standard for this restaurant. Oh, the sashimi salmon is a close second, the rest of the buffet I don't remember. :D

このお店で２０１８年最後のディナーブッフェをいただきました。こんな日に一人で行くなんて、多少気が引けましたが、スタッフさんには温かいもてなしを受け、楽しいカウントダウンパーティを過ごすことができました。 お料理はフィリピンのお祝い料理のレチョン(子豚の丸焼き)が供され、美味しかったです。
Breakfast is overwhelming
The breakfast is wonderful, whether individually or as a hotel guest. Different cuisine tastes available. Various tables offer space for indviduals or groups. The bbq showcase the famous pork dishes.

Cozy, intimate, good selection
I love how The Pantry is set up. It looks more like a restaurant unlike other buffets with massive food tables on display. I like that there's someone ready to refill the coffee and that I could request one apart from the regular brewed one. I'm happy with the Filipino choices available, unlike some buffets which just push the local flavors on the side without much thought. It's not the best one I've been to, and I dont have any remarkable dish in mind that I've tasted. Still good though, and I'm happy this came with our booking.

It was our family's first time to try their Sunday Crossover brunch and boy did it not disappoint! Super worth it! Fresh seafood (especially the huge scallops from UMU, their Japanese buffet), tasty teppanyaki, and other international dishes. The buffet spread is not as big as other hotels but choice selections and good quality. I wasn't able to try the other dishes because I was too happy enjoying the scallops! Service is also really good- very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended!
Attentive staff
the staff really take care of your needs. Being a long stay guest, every morning the staff remembered my coffee needs. the fresh mango juice is just wonderful.

The menu is extensive and I would recommend this place. The selection is wide and definitely caters to all palate.
Terrible food, hot airconditioning, room temp deserts
In this country of buffet eating filipinos, we tend to forget that quality is more important that quantity. This hotel seems to have forgotten this as well. The food was torelable at best. The lechonskin was not crispy and they run out of roast beef and replaced it with a chuck roll, The suhis / makis does not really taste like anything expect for the very salty soy sauce they provide. The deserts were not placed in refrigerated or iced areas such that when you eat them, they are at room temperature. The airconditiong seems to be not working as it was pretty warm -- they have 3 or 4 Iwata portable aircon situated around the restaurant -- this is just unacceptable!
Good Value
I availed of an ongoing promo and brought my family here for dinner. The place is warm and inviting. The buffet spread was interesting. It might not be as big as other buffet offerings but it was goid value and we enjoyed the dinner immensely. If they would continue with the promo, we would consider going back in the future.
A new buffet place in makati
This new buffet place of Dusit Thani hotel certainly is a must try. The variety of food will really satisfy your cravings. The ambience is really classy and homey... Al fresco dining can also be enjoyed facing the quaint little garden outside.
