Good food, great customer service!
I recently brought my family here (I have eaten here several times in the past year), the pizza was good (my kid chose the toppings... so it wasn't the best pizza in the world for an adult), the pasta was nice (small serving size though) and the crew was energetic and friendly. Conclusion: A must visit place. Tip: Get their membership card if you plan to visit more than once (you can use it immediately during your first visit), the membership card entitles you to a lot of good deals.
One Of Our Amazing Project Yet!
It's been years since the last time I've visited Project Pie in Park Square. Even before this is one of our favorite happy place. Today, my friends decided to visit Project Pie (since we haven't been here for ages, since I left) and ditched their original plan to go Korean. And that sudden changed of plan did not fail us. As we enter the restaurant this three man team would greet you with their very welcoming smile (a really good way to start) and as you place your order their very accommodating staff will help you to decided how would you like to create your own pizza or bundle. The way how they do their service is really something else. Casual yet giving you this very homey atmosphere which will give you a more relaxed dining experience. Which we really love the most. Indeed, you will feel the happiness from each of them from the hand who prepared your food, then to it's cashier until they serve your food onto your table and will extended till you leave the restaurant with a happy face and happy tummy. Looking forward to see this amazing sweet peeps. See you soon!
pizza and salad with fun
After going to an art show, we were in the mood for pizza and salad. The experience offered by Project Pie is creativity and fun. Aside from the " house pizzas ", one can compose and choose the ingredients in the pizza you want to eat or even add more ingredients to their house pizzas. The staff, smiling and very helpful, will patiently identify the goodies in the vast food palette in front of you, cook the pizza the way you want (like adding the prociutto just before serving so it's uncooked). The drinks are without limit. I would have preferred a simple vinaigrette on my salad greens but the dressing was chosen by someone else in the group. Overall, it's a fun, relaxed place to go to for great pizza.
Project Pie... Pizza and Salad The Way You Want It
It has been awhile that Project Pie opened it's doors to the public. With the many pizza parlors around the metro…what differs it from other pizza parlors? Oh well, it does not only make you create your own pizza but it also let's you create your own salad. With the wide array of toppings for the pizza... you'll surely want everything on it! Just like the pizza toppings, you can choose different greens, toppings and dressings for your salad. But if you are not decided on what you want… Project Pie also has a great menu to choose from, most of which are their best sellers. They also serve pasta, desserts and their drinks are all bottomless…what a treat! I visited their branch at Park Square, Makati. Nice interiors and very clean. The staff were also accomodating and friendly. Service was good too! My husband decided on creating his own pizza while I chose James Salad which was one of their best sellers. The strawberry / cranberry dressing was very new to my palate but I loved it though. My son just ordered the classic Pepperoni Pizza which happens to be his favorite flavor. For dessert we had Smores Pie… which was a thin crust pizza with marshmallows and drizzled with Nutella! Yum! It's a cheat day for me I guess (wink). Project Pie was voted in 2014 as one of the Best Pizza in the metro and suffice it to say…they deserve it. I just hope they will branch out in nearby provinces soon! If you haven't tried going to this one of a kind pizza parlor…then you're missing a lot! Project Pie has branches in Park Square-Makati, Tomas Morato, Mandaluyong, Pasay and Muntinlupa.
Overpriced and overrated
They only have the personal size available for 285 pesos--not ideal if your group wants to share a whole pizza and split the cost. I'm not sure what justifies the high price because the pizza's not worth it (maybe you're paying for the concept?) The toppings, including sauce and cheese, are meager and portioned sparingly. Tip: ask for double sauce and cheese so your pizza won't taste bone-dry. The ingredients aren't high quality--artichokes are tasteless and dry, caramelized onions are overpoweringly sweet, meatballs and sausage are meager, and crumbled no less. The thin pizza dough doesn't hold up--if you add fresh tomatoes, it becomes a soggy mess. The generous dusting of flour on the dough is distracting. The flavors are one-dimensional, a salt lick. The pizza is just okay at best, a piece of cardboard at worst.
Good pizza, chill ambiance, awesome promos
We have been coming to Project Pie for lunches or dinner. We recently held a small birthday celebration for 30 pax. It offers reasonable promos for " bulk orders ". Our guests enjoyed both making their own pizzas and choosing from the menu too of Project Pie. Its triple chocolate cookies and unlimited drinks are enjoyable too. Project Pie Makati in Park Square has good ambiance, good lighting and strategically located. Staff are friendly and efficient. CR's are clean also.
Spectacular Pizza
Project Pie is a great place to make your own pizzas. I made my own pizza and I put mozzarella and parmesan, ham, bacon, mushroom, caramelized onion, corn, and crumbled meatballs. The ingredients are good quality and fresh. Prices are good, service is decent. This a nice place for pizza in Makati
Thin and crispy crust
You choose your own ingredients for the pizza. Choices of sauce, cheeses, meats, etc. The pizza is then oven baked for a few minutes. Your name will be called for you to pick up your Pizza at the counter. Freshly made and delicious.
Good Pizzas but a bit pricey
The pizzas here are very good and the ingredients used are high quality but the price still seems a bit high for the size of pizza you get. Still I would visit again.
Pizza lover
If you're a pizza lover you should try this one. You'll make your own pizza. :) Step 1, sauce it up! I chose red sauce. Step 2, top it real good! I chose feta, mozzarella, and parmesan for my choice of cheese. For the meat i chose spicy italian, pepperoni, bacon, ham and chicken. And for the veggies I chose mushroom, tomatoes, jalapeño, black olives, garlic and caramelized onion. You will also choose the top sauce after cooking the pizza (optional). I chose pesto. :) Step 3, enjoy it! :) We also ordered ceasar salad (Hail Julius!). :)
Delicious
The concept is really interesting. Make your own. Really delicious because it includes all the toppings we like and choose. Try the dessert pizza.
Order Number 6
Most people go here to personalize their pizza, but we went for their regular offerings. I was taken with variant no. 6: I love the funky, saltiness of the blue cheese paired with the sweet barbecue sauce
Best Pizza Ever!
Our family love the concept of making your own pizza without the hassle of price difference and we love the pizza even more. The best pizza ever!!! We also ordered their meatballs (all beef) and it as delicious as well. My wife ordered the Hail Julius and she like it very much. The place is nice and clean, the ambiance is ok... Staff are friendly and courteous.
Creative Make-Your-Own pizzas
We were craving for pizza and we spotted Project Pie so we decided to ear there. The 3 of us had the make-your-own pizza each (PHP280) and a salad which was around PHP300. My pizza consisted of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, ham and bacon, and mushrooms. All our 3 pizzas tasted great. Our bill amounted to PHP1200 and it was a bit pricey. I'll soon come back to this restaurant.
Pizzarific!
Excellent indeed! :) Not just because im a pizza lover but because they offer a unique experience and good service. Staffs are very polite and helpful.
Pricey
The size of their pizza is just enough for 1 person, it's not good enough to share. Kinda pricey for a small pizza. Crust is crispy and thin. Wide selection of toppings to choose from but it's not pleasing or appealing to the eyes as it is not refilled - very little on display and it looks a bit messy too. They offer red sauce, white sauce and olive oil. The drinks (vendo sodas, 2 kinds of juices and teas) are refillable up to 3 returns only. They don't give paper plates so I guess you have to bear using the paper napkins at the condiments area.
Flexi-pizza!
The closest thing to a DIY pizza, where one can choose the toppings to put in the pizza. The place also offer other items such as salads. One can also get the drink that he wants with free refills.
I love pizza, MY pizza... custom built by ME!
A bit pricey but you can always get what your money's worth... Dined at Eastwood, Shaw, Makati (frequent) & Blue Bay Walk (less favorite branch - actually its far, since one guy is still crushing my tomatoes into smaller pieces instead of just putting the sliced one on top of my pizza - i told him right then and there, apologies accepted) Starts with white sauce, all cheese doubled (but I noticed the quantity weakens from time to time so I have to request for triple) then I have all the meat, double the parma ham / prosciutto, a bit of anchovies. Then i'll have caramelized onions doubled, olives, jalapeno, basil, walnuts, then blue cheese and mozzarella with a bit of parmesan again. sprinkle crushed chilis and tabasco. Now there goes my P285.00 my pizza masterpiece... just add the four seasons (+ water since it's too sweet). I can eat a whole pizza (or two). They have their own ice cream cookie sandwich, I have tried it but I didnt like it much. A friend once told me that the place is better for barkadas (group of friends) but not a lunch / meetup / date site (maybe because he knows that I'm a heavy pizza killer) Interior is fine, well lit place, clean... with a big trash bin that motivates me to clean my table after eating. Previously you can post pictures on fb with their ipads (mounted on wall) but I'm not sure what happened with their devices.
declining excitement
On to the 3rd visit, the excitement to choose your topping just die down. I let my kids do the choices and just eat whatever they decide to pick as topping. I also won't encourage you to visit during opening time. The crew's enthusiasm is poor. When we arrive, the cashier is heads down on a table. He just looked at us and stood up, proceeding to the counter without any greetings. The same thing happened upon our exit. as if there was no customer. I like the dough / crust. it's just that maybe they come up with something new? IMHO.
Good
They offer a wide variety of toppings for your pizza. The interiors are cool, industrial-theme. The staffs are nice
Pricey but it can be worth it if you know how to make a pizza
The pizza is pricey but if you know how to make one and which ingredients go well together, it could make your day. I love the mixed greens salad too esp with anchovies. The place itself is not that crowded so it's a great choice to hang out at.
so yummy
The pizza is very good and awesome, really delicious. You can customize your own pizza according to your preference and taste buds.. the pizza is only 10 " but you will be satisfy because of unlimited toppings for only P285 and you can add more cheese to your pizza if you want a cheesy. The staff are polite and kind. The place is clean. I am sure I will come back again to make my own pizza again :)
Great pizza!
Project Pie does build your own personal size pizzas that taste great. They use really fresh, high quality ingredients. The only thing I found odd is that they refused to cut my pizza into six slices, saying the only way to ensure the slices are even is to do 8. Then they cut it into 8 uneven slices, with some big ones and some small ones. Oh well. Not a big complaint. Good value for money. I love taking a date there because if we like different stuff on our pizza we can both get what we love and nobody has to compromise.
Novelty
Food quality and price point is ok. Variety acceptable. Taste commensurate to price. People with religious limitations might have to be specific as this restaurant is not Halal certified. Could cater to vegans.
giving the food an artistic shot
If the food looks yummy then it is not just the tummy that will be satisfied but the eyes as well! YUM!
A good quick bite
A steal for 285.00, their pizzas are well seasoned, their Prosciuto pizza is divine. I hope they bring back the cinnamon sugar pizza.
Waste of money
We went to this restaurant to try out their pizza and find out what differentiates it from other pizza restaurants. We found out that it wasn't a great place after all. The pizza is quite expensive and you can get a better one at other pizza chains for the same price. They do let you build your own pizza but could be very daunting if you are not too familiar with the ingredients and most especially if it is your first time. The service crews are not that helpful either. I asked for 2 glasses of water and the waiter looks adamant to give it to me because it's for free. While waiting for the cups of water, the pizza was ready and I had to pick it up and bring it to our table myself (this place is self-serve by the way). The cups of water was also ready and I found out that I cannot carry all of them at the same time to our table. I asked if they have a food tray where I could put them in. Someone from the counter answered me rudely and told me that they don't have food trays. I asked, " How come? ". To which he smugly replied, " Because it's our concept. ". No one even bothered to offer help in bringing the stuff I had to our table and I had to do two trips from the counter to our table. I think part of the concept is not to provide good service to your customers. The pizza doesn't even taste remarkable and I don't think that they have any right to be arrogant. As I've said, it is a waste of money to dine in this restaurant. I have been telling all my friends to avoid it like a plague. We tried out the place with hopes that it lives up to the hype and we ended up very disappointed. It's no wonder that no one eats there anymore.
Fun Pizza the way you like it
The place is located in Park Square which is just across Dusit Thani Hotel and SM Makati. Once you enter, you'll be asked if you're familiar with how it goes. It being my first time, the staff was more than happy to guide me through the process. You basically can choose from 7 ready pizzas or try to build your own. I chose to build my own and chose the # 5 pizza (all-cheese) as my base and added some meats, more cheese and mushroom. The type of sauce is indicated but you can likewise switch if you want. It was a fun experience doing your own pizza and I was happy with my own creation. The thin pizza crust was crispy and cooked just right. Drinks are bottomless and they also have dessert pizzas and salads available. Service was very friendly. Not bad for a customized personal thin-crust pizza for P 285. I'll definitely be back and try more combinations.
