A Peaceful & Pristine Retreat at The Outpost
Alpine House at The Outpost is a true gem! The moment you step inside, you feel a sense of peace and privacy. The house is spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and perfectly maintained. Surrounded by nature, it offers a tranquil escape where you can truly unwind.
Beautiful, Spacious, and Tranquil Stay
We recently stayed at Alpine house at The Outpost Dullstroom, and it was an unforgettable experience! The house is beautifully furnished with plenty of space, providing the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The tranquil surroundings made our stay incredibly peaceful, allowing us to completely unwind. We absolutely loved our time there and would highly recommend The Outpost Dullstroom to anyone looking for a serene getaway in nature. We can't wait to visit again!
Hotel to visit
What a wow. We visited as a group of gents. Booked in Alpine house and Marple. The place is clean, and spacious. Feels home. Also, I took a wall twice on the farm. It is refreshing. We can go there again and again. Thank you for hosting us.
Very disappointed
We're incredibly disappointed with the accommodation we booked. The cleanliness was subpar, which is especially concerning as we were traveling with our 1-month-old baby. One room was unusable due to bugs, another smelled strongly of damp and mold, and the furniture was old and uncomfortable. The facilities and activities advertised looked nothing like the photos, and the overall experience felt like false advertising. To make matters worse, there was no mention of cats on the property, and our dogs don't get along with them, making it stressful to relax. We decided to leave early and were told we'd be partially refunded. For the amount we paid, this experience has been completely unacceptable.

The host communicated well in Advance, and welcomed us with warm hospitality. we found the house clean, spacious and neatly decorated. We enjoyed the quietness the place had.
The Outpost Dullstroom
We were really very disappointed in the accommodation. The photographs were not at all as we expected it to be. We arranged alternative accommodation the following day. The hostess was very friendly though and the place was clean.
Comfortable Country Holiday
Country stay away from the city which was perfect for relaxing and unwinding before the start of the new year. The care from the owners was excellent. Adi was a great help regarding information and updates on any of our requests. The pictures are exactly what the property is like. Our kids (ranging from 11 to 18) enjoyed the close interaction with the horses on the farm as well as the pool table. The main sand road to the property was great for bike riding. The dish washer wasn't working bit we were immediately provided with someone to wash our dishes each day. The kitchen appliances and gas braai are exceptional.
THE best holiday!
This property is tops! I initially booked through Booking.com but due to financial problems it was cancelled. They kept the cabin for me, and I could pay the following day! The cabin was lovely, well equipped and serviced frequently. What a holiday! When a leak sprung in the roof, in the bathroom, they fixed it and followed up if everything was okay. The kept us up to date regarding electricity problems, and parties organized in Dullstroom for Christmas & New Year. When we left, we of course forgot something and they went out of their way to get it back to us. I strongly recommend The Outpost Dullstroom, for service, swimming in the dam on the property and experiencing rain if you are from Namibia!

Staff was very friendly and the place was very clean upon arrival. It's a very peaceful area and we enjoyed every single second. Would've loved to have a private swimming pool though, however, that did not deter our enjoyment.
Beautiful and peaceful
Tertia welcomed us with a warm heart, every thing we looked for she brought immediately…, ice cubes, iron …. We took a 5KM walk and did kayaking. The lady who helped with cleaning also did a great job.
Stay at The Outpost Dullstroom
What an incredible place. I got exactly what I needed - peace, tranquility, open spaces, nature, fresh air and quiet. The charm of the landscape coupled with the horses, incredibly friendly staff and a beautiful environment made the getaway fantastic. I will definitely be back.
Lovely stay
We really enjoyed our stay at The Outpost. My daughter loved the farm setting with all the animals. Unit had everything we needed (A tip to add some candles / led lights for load shedding). Service was impeccable. Setting was relaxing and quiet, yet close to town.
Very huge, bright and awesome house
Very nice, neat and comfortable house to host a family of 8 people. It also has an excellent braai area with a huge gas braai station which I really loved. And the location is really just a stones thrown away from the trout fishing dams.
Brilliant stay at The Outpost
Absolutely fantastic stay! The property is beautiful and peaceful and the staff are friendly. Everything in order, comfortable and stunningly decorated. Great horse riding trails. And fantastic restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and bars close in the town. I will definitely be back. Thank you
Lovely, relaxing, pet friendly
The accommodation is comfortable, very clean with most everything you need. The hosts and staff alike are very welcoming and friendly. Pet friendly with a fenced-in garden and lots of space to run around outside of the fenced in garden. The farm is beautiful, with two dams and lots of fruit trees in the gardens.
MAGICAL COMBINATION OF DAM AND FOREST
WE visited outpost Dullstroom and were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it really is. The pictures do not do it justice. The cottages are cosy and the lodge manager was very friendly. I can't wait to visit again.

We had such a lovely stay and special event at The Outpost. Thank you so much for adding that something special to our wedding day. This is a nostalgic place for any event or even just a weekend hideaway.
