A lovely, relaxed lunch!
This is one of our favourite restaurants in Berlin and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious lunch here on our first day in Berlin and it set the tone for a great visit! We can't wait to go back again!
Firendly service and great location
We had first stopped here for a beer on a hot afternoon, and were impressed by the friendliness of Gina, our waitress. We returned another day for lunch, and it was a very enjoyable occasion. I had an omelette, billed as a small plate, but it was big, and husband had a very substantial Schnitzel. Of course, beers and ice cream rounded things off! As the name implies, this restaurant has a setting on the Spree river bank, but on one side also faces a very pretty square with gardens and a magnificent statue of St George killing a ferocious dragon. Worth visiting for the setting alone.

Entramos por casualidad… nos recomendaron uno al lado pero estaba cerrado y quedamos muy contentos y satisfechos. La comida muy rica, no nos pareció caro y encima una atención extraordinaria, en especial la camarera, un encanto de mujer. Totalmente recomendable.
Familienfeier
Meine Fam. hatte für mich anlässlich meines 70zigen Geburtstag eine Überraschungsparty bei Ihnen organisiert. Das Essen (Kuchen, warmes Essen) waren ausgezeichnet. Die Gäste waren alle zufrieden. Die Kellner (Gina und Viktor) waren sehr aufmerksam und flink; sie hatten viel zu tun. Trotz alledem waren sie sehr freundlich und hatten immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Mein Dank geht auch an die Köche und den Herrn am Tresen. Es war eine tolle Party. Ich werde ihr Lokal weiterempfehlen.
Restaurant Spreeblick im Nikolaiviertel von Berlin mit deutscher guter Küche
Besuch am Do, 12. Oktober Mittagszeit Während unseres Berlinurlaubes, haben wir selbstverständlich auch das Nikolaiviertel in Berlin besucht. Beim durchlaufen, sind wir dann auf das " Café & Restaurant Spreeblick " gestoßen, welches eine Aktionstafel vor dem Geschäft stehen hatte, wo eines meiner Lieblingsessen draufstand " Rinderroulade ". Es werden dort deutsche Gerichte und Alt-Berliner Speisen angeboten. Da wir spontan unterwegs waren, sind wir sogleich in das Restaurant hinein und haben auch einen schönen Fensterplatz auf die Spree bekommen. Bestellung: > 0, 5l Alster für 4, 90 € > Berliner Weiße grün für 3, 90 € > Mirabellenschnaps für 3, 50 € > Sambuca Likör für 2, 50 € > Cappuccino für 4, 50 € > Heiße Choco Sahne für 4, 50 € > kleiner Beilagensalat für 6, 50 € > Rinderroulade hausgemacht mit Apfelrotkohl und Kartoffelklößchen für 18, 90 € > Schnitzel vom Schwein mit Champignons und & Pommes frites für 17, 50 € Zusammenfassung: > Essenstechnisch waren wir zufrieden - während des Hauptganges, war mein Getränk leer und ich wollte schauen, ob dieses seitens der Bedienung bemerkt mit. Obwohl das Personal in Folge am Tisch mehrfach vorbeigekommen ist und danach die Teller abgeräumt hat, wurde leider kein weiterer Getränkewunsch abgefragt - hier sollte das Personal besser darauf achten und nicht den Gast von sich aus bestellen lassen, auch wenn dies möglich gewesen wäre. Das Café & Restaurant Spreeblick empfehlen wir weiter und würden dies gerne beim nächsten Berlin Urlaub erneut besuchen.

Once again several great visits during our stay in Berlin during Folsom, great wine, great outside ambience, lovely staff, several chilled out afternoons.
Perfect Summer afternoon
Been here many times over the years when visiting Berlin, absolutely love this place, wonderful view of the river, relaxing, great wine and excellent friendly service. I haven't eaten here but the food does look good, one day I will. Lovely place especially if you can grab a seat over looking the water.
Ein Platz in der Sonne!
Ein Platz in der Sonne! Hier kannst Du eine Familienfeier ausrichten. Sehr leckeren Kuchen zu Deinem Kaffee bekommen, oder ein Bier draußen in der Sonne direkt am Spreeufer genißen. Ich habe das schon einige Male getan, und jedes Mal war ich voll zufrieden.

Restaurant was really nice as were staff, Food was excellent and reasonably priced Location is great not far from river. Would highly recommend a visit.

Incredible, Tasty Lunch
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here after a busy sightseeing morning in Berlin. The food was outstanding and we experienced attentive and courteous service. Their beer and wine options are diverse and of high quality. The scenery from the outdoor tables along the canal added to the ambiance.

Das Mittagessen mit 28 Personen war sehr schnell und schmackhaft. Schönes Ambiente und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir mögen deutsche Küche und haben das Restaurant schon weiterempfohlen. (3.9.22)

Excellent lunch
We got a table in the sun and had a lovely lunch. The pork schnitzel was excellent - served with chips (fries) and mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Very relaxed atmosphere and would recommend.

Onze eerste avond in Berlijn langs dit restaurant voorbij gekomen. Het ziet er niet erg gezellig uit, maar de bediening is vriendelijk en de kwaliteit van de maaltijden is in orde.

Gute Lage zur Kaffeezeit
Bedienung war sparsam freundlich " bevor ich Ihnen aufzähle was wir für Kuchen haben gehen Sie lieber selbst nachsehen ". Das Angebot war überschaulich und der Apfelstrudel nicht der Renner.

Dejlig beliggenhed ved vandet. Maden er traditionel tysk, og smagte ganske udmærket. Vi har fået bedre, men også meget værre, generel en god oplevelse, med hurtig betjening og servicemindede tjenere :)
Très bonne adresse
Excellent restaurant; la salle ancienne est couverte de plaques de publicité ancienne; le personnel sympathique et les plats généreux. Cuisine berlinoise eisbein, schnitzel, currywurst.

Искали где поужинать и случайно набрели на этот ресторан. Отличное местоположение на берегу Шпрее. Меню не очень разнообразное, но типично немецкое. Обслуживание быстрое, приветливый персонал. Вкусно и не дорого. Особенно рекомендую штрудель
Delicious Food - Great Waiter
Went here for dinner our first night in Berlin and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Schnitzel with pomme frites and also mushrooms. The size was enormous and the taste very good. The waiter also brought over some bread with a great spread. He tried to explain to us what is was and we told him we really liked it. So, when we left he gave us a bunch to take home with us. After dinner, he gave us an Apfel Liquor which hit the spot. Highly recommend - and reasonably priced.
Great food in a fantastic location
This cafe is located next to the river in a tourist area. The interior has a classy feel and always appears to be full of locals which is a great advertisement. There is an excellent selection of hot and cold dishes on offer, the service is excellent and the staff friendly.
Tourists Beware
This restaurant was located near Museum Island and was bustling with tourists. It served primarily German food and the menu looked promising. Nice outside seating weather permitting. We ate indoors and looked for a quieter table (impossible). It was quite busy at the time but we watched table after table being served even though we were there before them all. I flagged our waiter several times and he said the order would come soon. We waited one hour for the food and then only my order came. There was nothing special about the food I got but as it turned out, my husband's order was never placed. We had to share my food in order to have something to eat. The waiter apologized but no amends were made in reducing our bill or giving us a dessert - something. Very poor service and mediocre food. It is a tourist trap and I would caution anyone from going there when so many other places are available around it. The waiter said it was his fault and not to blame the restaurant but that was not the case! Very angry at our treatment there.

Mittagessen mit Freunden
Wir waren um 12:00 Uhr die ersten Gäste, und wählten uns einen Tisch am Fenster. Nach wenigen Minuten erschien eine Mitarbeiterin des Hauses und sagte, der Tisch sei reserviert. Wir waren etwas verwundert, da sich kein entsprechendes Schildchen auf dem Tisch befand. So setzten wir uns halt um. Die Kellnerin gebrauchte Worte wie " Was wollen sie trinken ? ", also nicht sehr gastfreundlich. Zum Essen, einer von uns aß Zander, gab es kein Fischmesser. Zu meinen Bratheringen mit Bratkartoffeln, beides etwas zu trocken, erhielt ich gar kein Messer, und musste am Tresen nachfragen. Also nochmals besuche ich die Lokalität nicht.
Tourist spot but great food
It was with trepidation we sat down by the river in the very touristy looking spot, but it was fabulous. The staff were friendly and food and wine spot on for what we wanted. Lovely spot beside the river.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante sabato a pranzo. Sinceramente lo abbiamo scelto solo perché era l'unico dove abbiamo trovato posto fuori, come ho detto era sabato e c'era il pienone. Io ho preso un mix di carne con patate lesse. Qualità nella media, niente di eccezionale, ma neanche cattivo. Il mio ragazzo ha preso il Currywurst con patatine, ovviamente queste ultime palesemente surgelate. Il servizio veloce ma poco cordiale. Ad una cameriera abbiamo chiesto il menú e successivamente il pane e non ce li ha portati. Ad un cameriere ho chiesto un secondo menù (visto che eravamo in due!) e mi ha guardato con un'espressione scocciatissima, e dopo qualche secondo di interdizione senza proferire parola ce ne ha dato uno. Sempre quest'ultimo cameriere mi ha portato via il piatto, ancora non finito, senza chiedermelo mentre mi ero alzata un secondo per scacciare un ape. Sinceramente non ci tornerei.
Wonderful food
This place is superb. The location is magical, the staff attentive and the food divine. We had currywurst, Berlin meatballs, chicken in paprika sauce and pork in pepper sauce. The wait was around 20 minutes which isn't an issue when the food is fresh and the restaurant is busy. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because my 'meatballs' was in fact a bun less burger. I'd defo come back!
Try the mixed grill!!
We visited here twice while on holiday in Berlin. Very nice location, seats available along the canal which allows good views for boats going passed and the sunset if you visit at dinner time. We both tried the mixed grill and it was honestly amazing, could not recommend it more. Please see attached photos. Service was great as well, everyone friendly and helpful.
Iced cold beers, watching the world float by
Spreeblick is a great restaurant and bar I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this most eclectic of cities. I love the look of this bar, a cool interior with great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy River Spree, this is were we chose to sit on a roasting hot Monday afternoon. A very pleasant member of staff served us a beer each, we opted to have that most German of beers namely Berliner Kindl beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in, it was just so cool watching the tour boats plying their trade down the river while sipping our beers. My beer was exceptional, I really enjoy Berliner Kindl beer, it's such a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink, a beer style I really enjoy. We both really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Spreeblick is easy to locate on Propststraße, in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till Midnight. A great restaurant and bar, well worth checking out if your in the area.

Très agréable endroit pour dîner ou déjeuner. Brasserie berlinoise typique proposant des spécialités locales et allemandes. Bon rapport qualité prix. Service sympathique et polyglotte. Service en terrasse au bord de la Spree. Le quartier Saint Nicolas propose plusieurs adresses sympathiques un peu à l'écart de la foule et au bord de la Spree.

Worst diner in Berlin
We had diner here and it was terrible !! The food was so bad and fat compared to other german restaurants. My friend had a pork dish with only fat and no meat; I had a disgusting chicken. The service was really bad and the server unpleasant: he insisted to have a tip. In addition the atmosphere in the room was really umconfortable.
Great spot to recover!
A very busy little area with lots to see and do nearby - the closest statue is a large bronze of George and the dragon - very popular and easy to see why when you see all the various meals being taken to tables. We had very light meals of white asparagus with salad, strawberries and balsamic (hot weather and I really enjoyed it), my husband had pork schnitzel (sure thats spelt wrong) with mushrooms and fries and a lovely spicy sauce on. Piece de resistance though was the apple strudel with ice cream and a fruit sauce. Lovely and light - mmmm. With 3 drinks came to a very surprising 42€.
Great view, food, and service!
Reasonable price and great food and view! We had the asparagus soup, pork with onions and potatoes, and brotwurst with potatoes and sauerkraut. We added dessert of applestrudel - wow it was perfect - flaky crust, warm perfectly baked apples melt in your mouth delicious! The service was attentive without being intrusive. I love that they don't kick you out, you must ask for your check. The inside has quaintly decorated rooms too if the weather is bad.
nice setting by the River
Nice setting by the River - just had Drinks but plenty of people were eating food. sat by the river had a Few gin and Tonics. they even know how the english like it asked if we would like ice and Slice.

Mooi plekje
.. voor ons om koffie te drinken en een heerlijk gebakje te eten in dit gezellige restaurant. Heel vriendelijke bediening en naar buiten kijken was leuk zo aan de Spree.
Buon pranzo
Abbiamo pranzato in uno dei tavoli nel cortile al sole. Abbiamo preso il piatto del giorno cotoletta e asparagi e un'insalata con il pollo. Tutto buonissimo! Il gelato per dessert era industriale niente di speciale. Ma comunque consigliato!

Wir waren zu zehnt dort essen. Alle waren zufrieden. Das Essen war gut und reichlich (aber kein XXL). Die Bedienung freundlich und kompetent. Besonders hervorzuheben war der Spargel. Super knackig und wirklich reichlich. Die Preise waren in Relation zur Qualität und Menge sehr günstig.

El codillo muy bueno, así como el empanado de cerdo y el filete de pollo, el postre de manzana recomendable, te suelen regalar un chupito, buena calidad precio. Buen servicio salvo los días de sol porque tienen terraza y se desbordan de trabajo
Serveurs très sympathiques
Très bons plats typiques. Très bien situé dans le quartier Saint Nicolas avec une terrassée très agréable lorsqu'il y a du soleil. Les serveurs sont très avenants et font l'effort de vous comprendre et de vous expliquer la carte si vous êtes des touristes étrangers.

Fantástico
Entramos por casualidad, nos dieron mesa enseguida y el servicio fue rápido y la camarera encantadora. La comida rica y abundante, precio medio. Nos gusto tanto que repetimos al dia siguiente para cenar. Disfrutamos igual o mas que en la comida, los camareros muy amables y en especial creo que se llamaba Gina, fue simplemente genial.

A very entertaining evening
To be honest I wouldn't hurry back for the food; there was nothing really wrong with it but it was certainly nothing to write home about. But the service was good and I really enjoyed the ambience; definitely felt like a local people's restaurant despite being in tourist central - was great for people watching :-)
Super nice place with local food!
Really comfortable place to seat and talk with friends in the Friday evening. Good waiter! Potatoes with sauerkraut and sausages - really nice and traditional, especially with this BBQ souce. Knuckle is also very good. Were here with friends and child, have child seats and in common child friendly. Nice view, Spree is near) So, really recommended, but u will need to find free spots =) The only not super good thing, is this is super expensive, at least for me
brasserie bien située pour manger " local "
Dans le riche et beau quartier de Nicoleï, au bord de la rivière " Spree " brasserie où on peut manger des plats typiquement allemands et berlinois (boulettes berlinoises, curry wurst,..) loin de l'agitation du centre ville. C'est plutôt bon, le cadre est chouette (surtout les tables l'été au bord de la Spree) dommage que le service soit si long, certes on était en plein mois d'août, mais en embauchant plus de cuistots et de serveurs l'été ça irait plus vite!
A Pleasant Meal
We visited here on a quiet Sunday evening. We received generous portions of decent food, a good bottle of wine and the service was satisfactory.
Ambiance chaleureuse, personnel professionnel, repas excellents
Situé légèrement en retrait, à la limite de «Nikolaiviertel», le quartier originel (joliment réhabilité) de Berlin, cet établissement frise tout simplement la perfection, à notre goût. La terrasse est très agréable (sur une place dominée par une magnifique statue équestre de St-Georges terrassant le dragon et à côté d'un parterre végétal et floral) ; la partie intérieure ne l'est pas moins, cosy, calme et avec une température agréable. Carte du restaurant avec un large choix (dont de de nombreuses spécialités locales et régionales), portions conséquentes et qualité des produits (frais et terroir apparemment). Présentation soignée des plats et boissons (petit cœur tracé au lait qui surmonte le chocolat chaud). Pâtisseries, thés, cafés et chocolats sont excellents et très fins. La «Marzipantorte» notamment est un pur régal ! Service rapide. Surtout présence et disponibilité d'un PERSONNEL IMPECCABLE, à la fois compétent, attentionné, souriant et sympathique (ma compagne a oublié son sac, le serveur l'a récupéré et mis de côté après avoir vainement tenté de nous retrouver dans la rue). Propreté irréprochable et pour couronner le tout, prix raisonnables et donc abordables. Un endroit que nous avons découvert par hasard, le 1er octobre 2018 (Rechnung 41850, Tischnummer 29), et où l'on se sent immédiatement à l'aise. Avec son charme légèrement désuet, cette brasserie / salon de thé «à l'allemande» est idéale tant pour une pause que pour un repas. Nous la recommandons chaudement et sans hésitation.

Great German food
Very nice restaurant with comfortable seating. Quite a varied menu but highly recommend wild boar & beef roulade. For dessert homemade apple strudel is a must. Staff very friendly.
Molto buono
Siamo entrati e abbiamo pranzato. Abbiamo chiesto il piatto tipico e il cameriere Muller, gentilissimo; ci ha portato una coscia di dinosauro.... buonissimo. Prezzo giusto e poi in omaggio ci hanno dato anche una specie di grappa per digerire.
Good Food
Came here for lunch and was initially put off by a nasty smell that caused us to switch sides of the restaurant. The food was very good and choice was exceptional. When offered a large or small beer, I opted for the large and received a full litre. Portions were generous. We opted for steak and it was very good. Well worth the visit.
Ein gemütlicher Nachmittag
Dieses schöne Lokal direkt neben der Spree im Nikolaiviertel gelegen, ist eines unserer Lieblingslokale bei unseren Berlin Besuchen. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und das Lokal selbst außen wie innen sehr schön.

Excelent coffee and lunch
We stooped here twice! The first time just for a coffee and to enjoy the view and a glass of wine and the next for lunch and ice cream. It's a very nice place to have a good time with family! I suggest everybody to visit

Si trova nel quartiere di San Nicola, si affaccia sulla piazza dove c'è la statua di San Giorgio mentre l'altro lato è costeggiato dalla Sprea. E' un bel ristorante, elegante. Gentili i proprietari, buono il cibo (abbiamo speso in due 35 euro).
Wonderful Old World German Food!
After 3 days of looking for a place to eat Rouladen (a favourite german / bavarian dish) we came upon this great restaurant in the very picturesque area of Berlin called the Nikolaiviertel District. It's one of those areas that you picture in your head when you imagine old world Germany with quaint shops and lots of history. The restaurant sits in front of one of the largest libraries in Europe, The Berlin State Library- which is across the river. In the small plaza there also stands the bronze sculpture of St George the Dragon Slayer. As I had at many other german restaurants, I asked inside if they served Rouladen and the young man immediately smiled & said " Of course! ". We enjoyed a wonderful meal that started with Pumpkin cream soup (we ordered it without the salmon but it did have pumpkin seeds which gave it a wonderful texture) & Tomatoe soup, (both were very flavourful) followed by Beef Roulade served with Red Cabbage with Apples and potato dumplings which were delicious! We had some Muller-Thurgau Trocken wine which paired perfectly (yes, I know it's white & we were eating beef, but isn't it all about flavour-not color?) And finally some apple Strudel with a complimentary glass of Schnapps. All this surrounded by only german older folks who looked like they had enjoyed eating there for centuries! Excellent evening ! AND the waiter was delightful!
Fue en un gusto haberlo encontrado
Cuando ya veníamos caminando con hambre, encontramos el Cafe Spreeblick, una grata sorpresa. Muy rico, con típica comida Alemana. Tiene una sección con ventanas y vistas hacia el río la plaza y la ciudad. Muy buen servicio, menús en varios idiomas, incluyendo español.

Típica comida alemana recomiendo la sopa de tomate el medallón de puerco y el filete a la parrillla. La vista dentro el restaurante es increíble, se alcanza a ver Berliner Dom. Muy amables las personas, si no sabes alemán pide el menú en tu idioma (hay en español)
A lovely waterside restaurant in a picturesque corner of Berlin
Our last evening in Berlin and we wanted a nice restaurant serving authentic German dishes for my other half to sample. The Spreeblick didn't disappoint! The menu includes lots of German dishes and my husband opted for Goulash suppe, and Eisbein, which he enjoyed but couldn't quite finish as it was so enormous. Vegetarians just get one option - a veggie escalope with mushroom sauce - which was very tasty. Our waiter was efficient and very friendly, keen to explain about each dish. The Spreeblick is nicely located on the riverside (will be a lovely spot when the building works have finished!) Well worth the visit - made a lovely occasion for our last night in the city.

Зашли просто пообедать. Еда нормальная. Хороший выбор берлинского пива. Обслуживание быстрое. но всё время не покидало ощущение, что сидишь в заведении на Арбате в Москве (хотя Николайфиртель и есть Берлинский Арбат) - мимо протекает бесконечный поток туристов. Перекусить можно, но можно найти и более интересные заведения.
Superb restaurant and bar
We were visiting the amazing Nikolvietel area and we had just been to the superb brewpub George Bräu to sample some of there beers and when leaving there we dropped into here as it's facing the brewpub. A fantastic traditional interior with superb furnishings and decorated tastefully throughout but as it was a roasting hot afternoon we decided to sit outside were a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a couple of refreshing beer's and we opted to have that most traditional of Berlin beer's and went for Berliner Kindle beer. Our beers arrived iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and enjoyed the sunshine while taking in the outstanding views if this lovely area and the beautiful River Spree. The beer's were delicious, these are the type of places I love to visit on any holiday to Berlin and Spreeblick certainly ticks all the boxes for me, superb restaurant, great staff and stunning location and views, coupled with a beautiful hot afternoon what more could you ask for. We had a very pleasant time in here before we moved on. Very easy to locate by jumping the Sbahn S 1.2 25 to stop Kloster Straße were you walk into Nikolaiviertal District and you should have no problem finding this delightful restaurant on Propstraße. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. A great restaurant and bar and well worth checking out.

Hier op leuk terras even koffie gedronken. Vriendelijke jongeman die ons hielp. Lopend langs de spree op weg naar de Dom kwamen we hier langs. Gezellig plein met meerdere terrassen.
Un régal
Nous nous étions arrêtés l'après midi pour nous réchauffer un peu et boire un thé et un chocolat (très bien présenté avec un cœur!) et nous n'avons pas hésité à y revenir le soir pour y diner. Ce fut très bon et très agréable. Le personnel est charmant, on vous laisse le temps de dîner sans vous presser mais sans attendre non plus des heures entre les plats. La cuisine est excellent et on vous propose un large choix que ce soit typique ou autre. On ne vous pousse pas à la consommation et le rapport qualité / prix est excellent. Nous le recommandons vivement pour tous et toutes.

Kaffee und Schokuchen sehr fein! Angenehm an der Spree in der Sonne und flinke freundliche Bedienung.
River location
Lovely cafe and restaurant directly on the river Spree. Good for people and boat watching. As it was a gloriously sunny October afternoon we elected to sit outside for a late lunch. I chose the leek and chanterelle soup and my friend had the seasonal vegetables. The Mueller Thurgau wine was spot on. Too full for dessert we finished with an iced coffee but for my taste it was not sweet enough and the icecream should have been harder - it was already melted. Prices are very reasonable, Service was swift eventhough very busy inside and out. Definitely worth stopping off during visit around the Nikolaiviertel.
Naja
Waren als Gruppe da. Die Currywurst war laberig, die Pommes ok. Das Schnitzel schmeckte nach Fisch. Der Salat war gut, lag wohl auch an der Fertigsauce. Die Bedienung war schnell und auch nicht besonders unfreundlich.
Gutes Restaurant mit angenehmen Ambiente im Nikolaiviertel
Neben dem Georgs-Monument im Nikolaiviertel (Altstadtviertel / wiederaufgebaut) befindet sich das Restaurant Spreeblick mit einer großen Glasveranda und einem schönen Ausblick. Das Essen ist bodenständig und die Getränke sind gepflegt. Die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend und flott.
Freundlich
Wir waren an einem sonnigen Sonntag-Nachmittag nach einer ausgedehnten Sightseeing-Tour auf der Suche nach einem Café. Das ganze Nikolaiviertel war überfüllt und es schien keinen Platz mehr zu geben. Unser letzer Versuch war der Spreeblick und wir konnten dort zwei Plätze finden. Trotz riesigem Andrang, schon aufgrund der Touristen, doch auch sehr viele Einheimische verkehren dort, wurden wir überaus flott an der Kuchentheke bei der Auswahlt bedient (der junge Mann folgte sogar an den Tisch um den Kuchen zuordnen zu können). Auch unsere Kaffeebestellung wurde flott aufgenommen und auch schnell und freundlich serviert, Leckerer Kaffe und leckerer Kuchen - wir waren von soviel Freundlichkeit trotz Stress und Hektik total begeistert. Hier wird Gastronomie noch gelebt!!!!
Worst Eisbein ever.. only topped by even worse service!
Our visit was an absolute desaster.. the most sad thing was that we reserved a table for a small and intimate 85th birthday coffee and dinner (4 persons), well in advance, and of course were hoping for something very special. Far from it.. When I arrived (being the host I wanted to make sure everything would be fine), nobody took any notice of me, so I had to go to the kitchen to announce my presence. At that point, nobody even seemed to know about the reservation, until finally somebody found a note on a piece of paper. I was shown to our table, nothing special, and that was it.. no orders were taken, no drinks were offered, nothing. I had to grab the attention of a rather undynamic waitress who then served me. When the party arrived, the same story.. VERY slow service. Cakes were average quality, so were coffee and tea. When dinner time arrived, we were offered the menu and had, among others, the house specialty - Eisbein. It was lukewarm, probably microwaved, absolutely tasteless with even more dry Sauerkraut. Others had the liver - dry and tough - and something unidentifiable. In between, noone bothered to clear the table or to offer new drinks.. quite to the contrary, the table filled up more and more with used dishes (we had to remove them ourselves at one point!). When it was time for dessert, the restaurant actuallly wanted to close.. reluctantly, we received something, but the original waitress had since left and so had the chef, so the " new " waitress served the dessert and proudly stated that she " prepared it herself ". And so it tasted.. All in all, a horrible experience, and no-one should be fooled by the lovely location. Never again!
Schlechteste Currywurst die wir je gegessen haben!
Lage und Bedienung gut, Essen ein Mega Flop. Die Currywurst war ekelerregend, die Pommes gefroren, der Kuchen wie Brei. Danke für den Tipp der Kellnerin, die Waffel für 6, 90€ nicht zu bestellen, da diese aus der Tüte (!!) kommt. Kurz um die Ecke mit ähnlicher Lage gibt es viel bessere Lokale.
Lækker schnitzel med nye asparges
Sad udenfor og nød middag med schnitzel med asparges og persillekartofler. Asparges var så mange og store at schnitzel måtte ligge ovenpå dem. Lækre asparges og sovs, schnitzel ok men ikke ekseptionel. Fin service. Ligger ned til kanal og overfor fint gammmel bygning. På pladsen lige bag Skulpturen med Sankt Georg og Dragen. Man kan køre ned efter broen i kørestol og så komme langs kanalen.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, sowie ein sehr gutes Essen rundeten die schöne Aussicht im Wintergarten mit Blick auf das Nikolaiviertel ab. Ich komme gerne wieder.
Cafe genießen
Hier mitten im alten Berlin und direkt an der Spree seinen Kaffee oder Latte Macchiato genießen ist schon ein bisschen wie Urlaub vom Alltag. Nette Bedienung. Man muss nicht lange auf seine Bestellung warten. Man muss sich aber klar sein das es hier nur so von Touristen wimmelt. Lasst euch nicht abhalten denn es macht Spaß sich wie ein Tourist in der eigenen Stadt zu fühlen.
Nicht nur Spreeblick
.. sondern auch Blick auf den Berliner Dom und das im Bau befindliche Berliner Schloss. Sehr leckeres Essen, super-großzügige Portionen und gute Auswahl, auch für Vegetarier!
Probably the worst meal I have ever had in Germany
Potatoes overcooked, pfefferlingesauce was filled with tomato to give it taste. Placement is Great, but honestly any Currywurst would be a better choice.
Zille Destille im Nikolai Viertel
Das Restaurant Spreeblick nennt sich auch Zille Destille. Ein kleines gemütliches Restaurant am Rande des Nikolai Viertels. Berliner Küche wie man sie sich wünscht und sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Aktuell gab es auch Pfifferlinge! Sehr schön. Freundliche Bedienung (für Berliner verhältnisse ;-)) und das Essen war flott serviert. Ein sehr schönes Abendessen unter Freunden in angenehmen Ambiente. Preislich im mitteleren Feld. Raucherfrei - natürlich. Eine Reservierung scheint angeraten, wir bekamen den letzten freien Tisch und nach kurzer Zeit war das Restaurant gut gefüllt - blieb aber relativ leise.
Good food and nice place, but not the best of Berlin
Indeed the nice place suffers from high price (for Berlin I mean). I am a big eater abd I like when the dish is full, especially if I pay it over 10E. But it was still good. The coffee is good and cheap. The waitress was very nice and smily, which I find very important in restaurants. The view from the place is quite good for the area. The atmosphere in the restaurant looks very old_fashioned, what can be surprising. Ti finish... the toilets are... IMPRESSIVE. Clean, vaste and with a beautifull view on the place and its statue.
Terrasse entre filles : PERFECT!
Une petite place isolée de la circulation qui ressemble à un jardin avec la statue de St Georges abattant le dragon, en terrasse au bord de la Spree au coucher du soleil. La carte est très diversifiée et c'est l'endroit idéal pour goûter les spécialités berlinoises. Malheureusement, mon plat était si consistant que je n'ai pas eu de place pour un dessert. Le service était rapide. Notre serveur (maîtrisant 5 langues, sauf le français) était particulièrement charmant et extrêmement professionnel. Ils n'auront du wi-fi qu'à partir de l'an prochain, mais ça reste accessoire... Je reviendrai dès que possible.
Good wholesome food including seasonal vegetables
Excellent location on a bright and sunny day. Next to the river by St George's monument. All manner of tourists on the bank and on the cruises enjoy the surroundings. The famous white asparagus was on offer, with a delicate tartare sauce.
schnitzel recalentado y mal servicio
La calidad de la comida es pésima, probablemente el peor schitzel de Berlín. A nuestro lado otros comensales se quejaban de lo mismo, muy mala experiencia.

Посмотрели меню у входа, зашли, пообедали. Вкусно, недорого. Типичная немецкая еда, Берлинское пиво, приветливый персонал и непритязательная обстановка - что еще нужно голодному туристу в самом центре города!
Kogt kødklump
Virkeligt et ækelt måltid. Vi smagte maden og kunne konstatere at kødet var kogt og tilbehøret smagte ikke friskt. Direkte uspiseligt! Vi gik sultne derfra 40 EUR fattigere.
Top Lage
Die Lage im Nikolaiviertel ist schon perfekt. Wir haben hier Kaffee und Kuchen zu uns genommen. Die Marzipan Torte war sehr gut. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Schöner Blick auf die Spree. Die Innenausstattung ist in unterschiedliche Stile gegliedert. Hier werden an bestimmten Tagen auch Zilleveranstaltungen angbeoten. Das werden wir demnächst mal mit unserem Berlin Besuch ausprobieren.
