Olala CBD is one big scam
This apartment is a scam. They cancel last minute saying that there is something wrong with your creditcard. They go by the name Olala CBD but I see they just changed it to Aloha CBD. DON'T TRUST THEM!!! They probably try to take money from your creditcard without staying there.
Do Not book
Do not book. Will cancel last minute and mess with your booking. As well report if you did book in order to stop this scamming. They cancel last minute say it it has card issues it is not true. Google reviews had same people experience. Now they deleted it.
Scam property, avoid!!
As with other reviews, we booked via booking.com several months in advance. About 20 minutes before we were due to check in, the property cancelled our booking. They cited credit card issues (but there is no issue with my card). We were already outside the property and had to book somewhere else last minute. It is also NOT in a good location, only a 7 / 11 nearby. DON'T TRUST BOOKING. COM REVIEWS. Weird staff like security guards surrounding the building, we couldn't even enter reception.
DO NOT BOOK WITH OLALA
Dont book with these fools.. we had book with them even chatted with them on the day of arrival.. Got there and find out they have cancelled the accomodation due to invalid credit card which makes so sense as we used the same credit for other bookings. We had to rush around finding a new hotel. DO NOT BOOK WITH OLALA THEY ARE USELESS PEACE'S OF SHI*.. SO PISSED OFF AT THEM..
Cancellation spoiled or our holiday
Same experience for us, cancelled while airborne and received with arrogance when calling. Note: Our cancellation was made from Olala CBD Apartment at River Gate Residence - not sure how this renter connects to Saigon Apartment River Gate Residence, but it for sure is in the same place and with the same bad experience as other reviewers. The renter spoiled our Saigon holiday by leaving a family of 7 with no hotel when arriving in Saigon after a very long travel. The cancellation was argued with invalid credit card, although the card had been verified by booking.com. We had several other cards and cash to prepay upon arrival, and we were already in the taxi when we learned. Olala CBD Apartments did not even want us to show up and talk about it. Watch out!
AVOID OLALA SAIGON APARTMENTS RIVERGATE RRSIDENCE AT ALL COSTS
We booked with Olala Saigon Apartment Rivergate Residence through booking.com and had a confirmed booking for 3 months and payment was at properly. We had 3 bookings for 7 people. We all received an email requesting us to update our credit card details which we duly did, but was totally unnecessary as had been travelling for 3 weeks with bookings through booking.com and had no problems with our cards. Booking.com updated our cards and sent details to Olala and they accepted. 1 hour before check-in they cancelled all our bookings, we were all stranded with nowhere to stay. They sent whatsapp messages telling us to rebook, this was because the price had increased and they wanted more money for the bookings. AVOID OLALA at all costs, total con artists.
An intro to HCMC ! Not very impressive
My reservation was canceled while I was flying to HCMC! They cited invalid credit card Card was validated in an email before they cancelled! Would not rebook for me Stated I had to rebook on booking.com Apartment not available on booking.com - no surprise there Disappointment and poor services Don't stay here
No customer service at all
Booked through booking.com. In spite of saying no prepayment was required, the premises attempted to access my card and then cancelled our reservation a couple of hours before we were due to fly in. When I raised this with the owner, the response was that it was 'process' and we had time to book another place!

Assolutamente da evitare!! Ci hanno cancellato la prenotazione mezz'ora prima del nostro arrivo dicendoci di trovare un'altra sistemazione!! Avevamo prenotato con Booking ed hanno usato la scusa che la nostra carta era stata negata. Il Karma vi ripagherá. Non si lasciano dei visitatori che hanno prenotato la stanza due mesi prima in mezzo ad una strada.
No tan bien como esperábamos
Reservamos un apartamento que se llama OLALA APARTMENT. La ubicación es genial por eso le doy un dos, las instalaciones no están mal pero lo peor ha sido el trato con el personal, brusco y grosero desde que hicimos el check in, además, el edificio tiene seguridad privada y te tratan como si hubieras cometido un delito cuando llegas, de muy malas maneras te dicen que no puedes entrar y te dejan en la puerta de la calle mirándote mal hasta que llega el personal, además, es algo dificil de encontrar porque hay varios bloques y el personal de seguridad te obliga a que llames a las personas con las que has contratado para que bajen y vean que has hecho la reserva con ellos. La piscina es comunitaria para todos los huéspedes / vecinos del bloque (aprox 30 plantas) y también tienen seguridad cuando entras a la piscina y unas normas muy estrictas. En cuanto al apartamento bien si no fuera porque el aire acondicionado no lo puedes desenchufar y gotea, con lo cual por la noche estás en el polo norte mientras que en la calle hay 30°. se lo dijimos a su staff pero no nos hicieron caso, el fancoil del aire está en la parte exterior pero suena tanto que lo escuchas mientras duermes. En resumen, nos quedábamos 4 noches e hicimos solo 3, preferimos perder esa última noche e irnos a otro sitio.

Owner has very bad communication skills and was rude and condescending. The place was too far away from where everything was and often we could not find a Grab who wanted to pick us up that far away. Definitely book in the Old Quarter / City Center instead.
Affordable private accom
Goal helped us settle in and was readily contactable through whatsapp - and as a local, he also provided great food recommendations. The beds are comfy, aircon is welcomed in what can be v humid conditions and there is a small outdoor area to hang clothes to dry. Some convenience stores nearby, but public transport not too accessable here but Grab / uber is cheap enough to get around.
