Great breakfast spot!
Great spot from breakfast with indoor and outdoor seating. We ate breakfast here our first morning in Door County and liked it so much we came back on our third (which was our last) morning. The coffee is delicious and the latte offerings included both standard and innovative. Beignets and bagels were delicious! The staff was very friendly and nice. Definitely will return when in the area.
Bagels & Beignets
Bagels and beignets. What more could you ask for? I stumbled upon this place while scrolling Instagram and I am so happy we had the opportunity to try it. We were greeted by extremely happy staff upon arrival. Since it was our first time there, she kindly explained the menu for us. My fiancé and I shared the pesto breakfast sandwich with tater tots (possibly the best tots we have ever had), and some beignets w / fruit sauce (so fluffy and perfectly sugared). By the time we were leaving the place was getting busy! I can see why! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Door County.
Great breakfast place!
Great place. We went in off season, and it was still bumping, and now I know why. The food was tremendous. Huge portions. The beignet was great.
Memorable sandwich, champion help
If you eat once per day, they serve breakfast all day. There might be no better value on offer than a sandwich called " This Little Piggy " : fried egg, bacon, sliced ham, pork sausage patty, mild spicy sauce on an incomparable nutty fried bagel. All you'd care to eat. Feel replete. Enjoy satiety. Good cooking takes time to eat.
An echo of NOLA
A cute New Orleans vibe with real chicory coffee and great beignets. Open for breakfast and lunch. My breakfast pizza was imaginative but too salty. We are definitely going back.
Best breakfast in Door County!
We haven't been to Door County since the pandemic and were delighted to discover the Big Easy. We had breakfast there every morning and loved everything we had -- beignets, bagel french toast, breakfast sandwiches, tater tots, and breakfast burrito. And they have chicory coffee -- what a treat. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the owner is hands-on and a delight to talk with. Can't wait to go back.
Sweetest breakfast spot
Everything about this place is fantastic- we walked in & the staff was so friendly & inviting. Ordering was easy. The food was absolutely delicious- the Sammy, the beignets, the tator tots (my son said " mommy they have the best recipe for tots!). Then the owner walked around talking with everyone- chatting with my kids & making them feel important. I'm beyond impressed with this sweet place & will definitely be back!

We'll be back
Really happy with this place. I had a ham, egg, and cheese biscuit which was very delicious. It came with a large serving of tater tots. I found the beignets just ok, but still a worthwhile treat. I'd happily eat here again.
Great place! Good food
We really enjoyed this place. The food was good, fair prices and the staff was wonderful. The owner even popped out to give a suggestion on food and we weren't disappointed in what he said was good. Chai was good and the outside seating area is perfect. The staff was very sweet and even said how glad they were that we came. I'm from Chicago suburb and that's never the vibe we get from anywhere in Illinois. Door county is perfect this way! So kind!
Great Breakfast @ The Big Easy
The atmosphere and friendly service were only bested by the great food. We had the Tater Tot Scramble and the Breakfast Queso and both were really good. Bathrooms could use a make over but Great bluesy new Orleans music too. We will be back.

You had us at " beignets'! We loved our breakfast there. Quick and excellent service. Adequate tables inside and out. We hope for better weather next time so we can sit outdoors.
Different breakfast
Awesome unique breakfast! Huge portions. I had the breakfast jambalaya. Had to get some of the beignets. Everyone in our group of 7 seemed to enjoy what they ordered. There were burritos and quesadillas and chocolate filled beignets. Lots of people picking up take out while we were there.
Taste of New Orleans
Early this week has beignets, just like Cafe Du Monde! Excellent. But then today I'm having the breakfast burrito and it is out of this world! Compliments to the chef and to this establishment. Definitely recommend this as a food destination if you are in the area
Delicious Breakfast food
My wife and I stopped here for breakfast and had to try the beignets as well. I try not to eat pork because of a skin condition, so I was pleasantly surprised to see turkey sausage as a meat option on the menu. I had a saugage, egg and cheese bagel and my wife had the Breakfast Quesadilla, which was so big she couldn't finish it. The beignets were also very delicious! The one thing I didn't like is that their prices are a bit high, but we found that common at restaurants in Door County.
Good breakfast
Had some lavender cold brew, breakfast grilled cheese, breakfast burrito with andouille, beignets & bagels. Cold brew was good with just enough lavender to taste it but not overbearing. Breakfast grilled cheese was massive and delicious, I'd swear it must've had at least 3 eggs on it along with sausage, cheese and sausage gravy. Breakfast burrito was good and the andouille had pretty good flavor, just wish I would've had some hot sauce for it. Beignets were as good as could be expected from not New Orleans. Bagels were bagels, I'd hope a restaurant could do those right. Overall everything we had was very good. The place is a little bit hidden, which for us was a bonus as this was the fourth restaurant we tried for breakfast, first two were unexpectedly closed and the third was absolutely packed. This place had some decent outdoor seating and their inside wasn't open for seating (re: COVID precautions). Would stop by here again if in the area.
A new and fun place to go!
This little gem is a wonderful addition to Egg Harbor. You can toast your own bagels or order the beignets or they have about 10 other breakfast items you can order that are freshly made for you. The owners are great as are the staff who work there.
OK but a bit disappointed
This is part of the Fireside Restaurant group in Egg Harbor. We tried it for breakfast and we were " underwhelmed ". Small breakfast menu, which we were aware of prior to going. We had heard so much about the beignets that we wanted to try - they were dry and not very flavorful except for the powdered sugar coating which in our opinion was too heavy. The breakfast we had was good but nothing special - we had the scramble and the " wakey-wakey... " I might go back for bagels but will not make a special trip. Coffee was average. This is located in the prior Liberty Square shops and breakfast when it was Liberty Square Bistro was much better,
Good Beignet and Coffee
Stopped here on a trip to Door County to enjoy some delicious beignet with some coffee. Big Easy did not disappoint. I ordered the 3 beignets with a latte (because I'm not a fan of the classic chicory coffee) and they were tasty. The bagels are good, soft and delicious. I definitely recommend you stop here for a good old fashioned bagel, beignet and / or an enjoyable cup of coffee.

Large, hot beignets and wonderful, rich, chicory coffee. There are other breakfast goodies on the menu which we are looking forward to trying.
Great coffee and bagels
What a great breakfast place. The beignets were fantastic: fluffy dough, sweet and hot. We got breakfast sandwiches that came with great tater tots. The bagels were very fresh. Great tasting full bodied coffee. This will be a regular stop while visiting Door County.
Excellent bagels
Really loved this place for bagels breakfast. You'll love it. We went here three times during our stay. Everything was wonderful and fresh.
Great breakfast options!
Lots of homemade bakery items, including their delicious signature beignets. Coffee drinks and various juices as well. Very friendly servers and staff. Definitely worth checking out!
Differing Opinion
As a frequent traveler to Door County I was excited to hear of a new breakfast location that served beignets. Our group of 4 ordered bagels and coffee and I had to have the beignets. The bagels were flavorful but not my favorite type of bagel. These were more light and airy for my taste. The others in our group liked them. The coffee was pretty good but I came for the beignets. I have had beignets in many places and there is nothing like a light, fluffy hot beignet covered with powdered sugar. The order comes with 3 beignets and they were hot and covered with powder sugar. I had everyone try them. It was unanimous that all four of us did not like them. Instead of light and airy, these beignets were thick and heavy. They were basically solid fried dough. Needless to say we each took a bite and left the rest. If you want bagels and coffee this place will be fine but if you want a beignet, save your money. Very disappointed!!
Bagel sandwich
Stopped in for breakfast. My son devoured the Beignets. I had the bagel sandwich which was huge. Steak and egg with Cheese on an everything Bagel. Not some microwaved egg like McDonalds but real fried egg and shaved prime rib. Fabulous!!!
Breakfast Pizza & Beignets
The breakfast was great and the beignets were excellent. Best beignets I've had since New Orleans. They also had very good coffee. It was a cold rainy day when we was there and I thought it was pretty cold inside too. We ate quicker then we normally would so the food wouldn't get cold.
Great beignets and breakfast
This was a wonderful place. Beignets were great. How can you turn down a breakfast sandwich with shaved prime rib on fresh bagel? Yum! Best selection of tea in the area.
Beignets and Coffee
Stopped at the Big Easy Bagel and Beignet in Door County Wisconsin that recently opened. Was delighted with the made to order beignets and chickery coffee, a little touch of New Orleans in northern Wisconsin.
Best bagel I have ever had!
The Big Easy Bagel and Beignet has it all! Starting with the best bagels I have ever eaten! They are fresh, soft, and homemade! They have incredible flavors! The coffee is awesome and the staff / owners are super kind and caring. You can tell love what they do and they do it well! The atmosphere is friendly, joyful and beautiful. Thank you Big Easy for an awesome experience!
