Quaint little place

A store selling work from local artisans. A little more upscale than some of the other places. Some unique gifts not found elsewhere. Some of the stuff however is overprice for what it is. A small painted rock had a price tag of $125. While nice, similar stuff can be found elsewhere around the province for a fraction of that price. There is an outdoor terrace to drink coffee and have some snacks, but being late September it was too cold.

Souvenir Shop and Coffee Place

A place to stop for a drink and pickup souvenirs. Variety for everyone. You can grab food from the shop next door and sit outside for a break.

Absolutely quaint!

This is the place to go if you wanna get some decent keepsake from Peggy's Cove which is amazing! Two wooden whales which were crafted from the driftwood collected from the Atlantic Ocean are now part of our home. As each whale is handmade by a local, the store owner was kind enough to bring out all the whale selections so that we can get the ones that we really liked! Service was simply impressive! The classic lobster roll was also the best we have ever eaten! Take their advice ans eat it at the lighthouse which has amazing views!

It's touristy, but in a good way

Peggy's cove is a working fishing village, but also a massive tourist site for the spectacular rocks and lighthouse. There's a bunch of tourist shops and cafes around the place. There has to be. Beale's manages to pull it off. They sell some really nice artesanal crafts and jewelry, rather than the tourist kitch, and also some interesting pieces of clothing too. They also have a little cafe and snack bar - the coffee is good, and the snacks are handmade - great cinnamon rolls, date squares and (my favourite) the saucer-sized lemon and lavender cookies (you have to try them). It's not a great menu but it's good for a nibble. As for seating - they have a little deck out the front, and another out the back. And if you're lucky, there's a rather cute, old kitty who will come and keep you company..

Beautiful items

Some very nice products in this store, I especially liked the jewelry. We purchased a stained glass item. Conveniently located walking to the lighthouse area, definitely worth a visit.

Great maritime crafts and gifts

I have bought many gifts for friends and family and things for our home. They sell things made in Maritimes, very good quality, (not the tacky junk stuff). I have bought wooden fish, outdoor mats (made from fish netting), unique pewter gifts, sweaters and slippers and rain gear. Very good shopping for the size of the store.

Perfect Lobster Roll

The small location is more or less a takeaway nearby Peggy's Cove. They serve homemade fresh lobster rolls tasty and in good quality. There is a catch in it: you need time!

Charming local crafts store, adjoining the Café

This nice local crafts store is worth a visit. The things they sell aren't cheap, but they're very nice locally made products (as opposed to the Chinese-made imported products sold in the main Peggy's Cove gift shop...). There's also coffee and pastries that you can eat on the balcony in front of or behind the shop. Worth a visit!

Worth the walk from the bus stop

I suppose most tourist get to Peggy's cove via tour bus, which stops up the hill by the lighthouse. But do walk down and see this cute shop with great coffee and a great view down the canal which leads out to the ocean.

Best Souvinier Store in Peggy's Cove AND BAKERY & coffee

REALLY enjoyed coffee and pastry on balcony. Also bought some unique pewter spoons. Great selection in gift shop. Helpful staff too.

Сувенирный магазин и кафе

Отличные необычные сувениры, работы местных авторов. Небольшой магазин одежды, можно утеплиться, если плохая погода. Кафе с верандой и булочками.

Nice stop at end of our time at Peggy's cove

Stopped here to look at souvenirs and have a hot drink before coming home after a long day! London fog is one of our favourites and may have been the best one we have ever had! The servers were helpful and one was even dressed in old style fashionable dress which added charm to the place.

Visited the fantastic Peggy's Cove and had a nice coffee and cold chocolate milk on the deck. Friendly service included.

Interesting Little Shop

Worth a stop if you're looking for souvenirs or just a little spot to relax. Quaint and quiet little shop with a nice view from the front deck. There's a little cafe inside. And some nice souvenirs. But the view from the little deck is charming.

Art On The Go

Bought a set of five watercolor cards to frame to remind me of the beauty that we saw all around us wherever we toured. Cute little retail shop with a coffee and pastry bar inside. Even bought a pewter Christmas ornament to add to our collection.

Great stop spot

I enjoyed stopping here very much while visiting the Peggy's Cove area. They had more thoughtful gifts than a typical souvenir shop. I picked up beautiful cards done by a local artisan, some pewter kitchenware, fantastic cappuccino and one of the best gingerbread cookies I've ever had anywhere. Give it a stop, you won't regret it.

Let's say it Canadian PC-lingo.. Well adjusted to the touristy location ;-)
