Great home cooked food
Absolutely delicious plate lunch, has a menu you can order from also. Service was friendly and food was plated quickly.
Great find
This was recommend by a colleague. My husband and I went with her and her husband one after for lunch. We all got something different. I was shocked to see the selections and the portions. Every thing came out hot and quick. I got a homemade cheese burger with fries. My fries were perfectly cooked. Not too greasy. My husband got the meatloaf and bragged on what a great meal it was. Not to mention how cheap it was. I can't wait to go back!!
Amazing
Went shopping with friends and decided to give Gina's a try. So glad we did! The food was amazingly delicious!!! It was very clean and fast, friendly service, too! We all ordered something different and we were all tickled over our plates! Big portions will fill you up! I had the baked pork chop, greens, cabbage and pinto beans! Yum!!!! I will definitely be going back here every chance I get and would recommend it to all my friends and family! I can't wait to go again and try another dish!!! Menu changes every day!
HOME-STYLE PARADISE
Had lunch here for the first time the other day and was completely blown away by the service, taste and prices!! I had the open-faced roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes and corn, and everything was very fresh and tasted like I had cooked it myself! Service was incredibly fast! And i was actually able to have a GREAT hot lunch in my 30 minute lunch break! Was awesome!! And they actually clear the table for you when you are finished eating!
Always Good
You are never disappointed with anything that you order here. The food is just like home cooking and I always get full.
Tasty and affordabe
Tucked away between 2 buildings on a side street, Gina's Place does breakfast and lunch, and they do it very well. Blue plate special type menus, choose a meat, sides, etc. and get excellent home cooking at a very reasonable price, served up quickly on the counter for you to take back to your table, Don't be put off by the long line, it moves fast.
Disappointed
I assume that the Chicken Spaghetti ($6.99) had been previously prepared & frozen, then reheated for Monday Lunch. Because the noodles were cut into pieces & all gummed together & starchy. Chicken was buried in there somewhere. My portion contained a few tiny red peppers, but tasted very bland. Salad was a cup of mostly white lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, with a dressing packet. Strange Potato Salad ~ yellow & mushy. Roll out of a package. After reading all the advertising hype, I was expecting a Sue's Kitchen competitor. There was no comparison in any category. The whole operation screamed " Cafeteria. "
Homestyle Food on the Go
Great place to go for a hot, homestyle plate of food served by friendly people.... in a comfortable and homey atmosphere. The menu offers a varied selection of meats and vegetables, and is reasonably priced. Oh, and desserts, too! A place to revisit frequently.
Great plate lunch
This place was recommended by a business associate. It is great for lunch but not open other times I would go there.
Restaurant
Good breakfast and lunch place. Home cooked food. Food is fresh and served hot. Friendly neighborhood place to eat. Healthy foods are available and the price is very reasonable.
Good Value / Local
It was suggested to me by a hotel receptionist. A good hidden local cafe if you are running away from chains. The price was surprising too.
Good home cooking!
Love to go to Gina's! Selections change daily. Lots of veggies, good desserts, and friendly folks. Lunch and breakfast served. Prices are great.
Lunch
Don't expect to be hugged and greeted with love when you walk in, but this family owned and ran diner offers some of the best home cooking in town. The satirical comments by the cashier are pretty home spun. Love this sit down, fill your own glass, eat your meal and leave place! Excellent food!!!
