Absolute worst cheesesteak and hoagie ever!
I paid almost $9.00 for a 6 inch cheesesteak that was ALL cheese and no steak. I threw it out of the car window after 2 bites - I hope a squirrel enjoys it. I then opened the 6 inch Italian Hoagie a bit later - hardley ANY Meat or Cheese -1 piece of each. $9 for 6 inches of bread - again. Just awful.
Got Philly cheese sandwiches to go..... Amazing!
Got Philly cheese steak sandwiches to go for about 10 people per our friends recommendation on a Saturday. It took them about 1 / 2 hour to get them ready for us, but were ready when we arrived as we called our order in. They were amazing! The husband and wife own and run the business we were told. Their hard work pays off for the community!!
Friendly place with good service an tasty food
Off the beaten track a little, Deli Grove is a small diner with about 6 tables in a front room accessed from the main store. Order from the menu at the store counter and then walk through to get a table. Our food was freshly made, tasty and served quickly. Staff were friendly. A nice little place that makes a change from the big name places.
Lunch is quick and easy
My daughter absolutely LOVES this place. It is a neighborhood place and everyone tries to frequent here as much as we can. But truth be told, they have great hoagies, steak sandwich, etc. Contractors and construction guys eat here - which tells you this is a good place. Recommended.
Best price, best taste
Continues to rival the rest in cheesesteaks. Worth visiting for the pleasant and friendly family run business and delicious steak sandwich.

Best place to go for a fast and quick and easy bite. Just call ahead and it's ready when you get there. Or sit and enjoy it there. Always fast and fresh quality products used. My complements to the chef. Great Job!!!

Ive been going to this mom and pop store since i was 6 and have converted every one i know to the best cheesesteak in chester county mayne evon all of Pennsylvania so go suport a local business
Questionable cleanliness, Quality seems to have fallen off somewhat
I reviewed this place just a year ago but after having gone there twice recently, i was disappointed both times. The shop itself isnt the cleanliest I've seen but my primary complaint is a hair inside the packaging of my cheesesteak. TWICE!.. it wasn't in the sandwich but was right up against the roll. I noticed its a mom and pop shop and mom isn't wearing a hairnet and has long hair... enough said!.. also the sandwich itself wasn't as good as just a year ago... meat seemed lower grade and grisily, the roll somewhat stale, and the cheesesteak hoagie i got had scraps of lettuce and tomato as opposed to chunks i'm accustomed too. Perhaps its the economy or i hit it at the wrong time, but i went twice and ditto the experience!... Hopefully this is a temp issue, and at the end of the day its still fair quality when u consider the price... under $7.... in this day and age when cheesesteaks can top $9! I hate to give bad reviews of Mom & Pop places.. cause i think we need more of these!.. Hopefully, this is a temp issue perhaps due to the slower economy. While i won't hurry back, I will certainly recheck them again by this time next year, and i can't speak for other sandiwches there as i have only had the cheesesteak.
Surprised at how good this place is, WAY better than Wawa!
My wife and I moved back to West Chester about 2 years ago. This deli is right up the street from us. It is old school and rustic. It can be kind of hard to find because it sits right off of Boot Rd. It is a mom and pop joint. Very nice people! You wouldn't think walking into here that the food would be very good, but it is. They have a very fair priced menu with a good assortment. I had the cheese steak as the last reviewer had mentioned how good it was. They were right! Roll was very fresh, portion was good, onions and mushrooms cooked just right, and tender meat. My wife had the tuna fish gyro and loved it. Fresh tomatoes and lettuce, and a fresh gyro roll. I'll buy our take out deli type food here any day of the week now. Also a very good selection of drinks. No more WAWA for us. Now we are greeted with a hello and they are happy to see us. Now where do you get that any more?
Surprisingly good
I went here after continued disappointment at my old cheesesteak haunt, Joeys Pizza in Thorndale (which has been trending downward in recent years offering stale, precooked and / or frozen fare). I didnt expect much when I walked in to this privately owned convienence store, but it did deliver, and I can concur with the other tripadvisor reviews. While not the meatiest cheesesteak I ever had, it delivered a flavor that rivals the best Philly has to offer at a fair price. The menu lets you add extra meat for $1 if you so desire. Roll wasn't the best I ever had, but although it wasnt crispy on the outside it was decidedly fresh and nicely soft & chewy and the meat was nicely chopped, lean with the right amount of cheese and very good fried onions and sweet peppers (an option). Defintely worth a stop if your in the area, and it also offers a small but nicely kept eating area. Well deserved 4 out of 5 stars.
Best cheesesteaks in chester county!
Their cheesesteaks are literally the best in eastern PA... they DEFINITELY compete with philly's Pats and Ginos without a doubt... absolutely mouth-watering! I would recommend everyone to try it at least once!!
Cleanest Restaurant & Best CheeseSteaks in area
This place was recently named " The Cleanest Restaurant in the County ", in the Daily Local News. The cheese-steaks are top notch, excellent quality meat w / fabulous fresh rolls & if ya love hot peppers, these guys have the hottest! It is a great, clean & locally owned business with friendly proprietors. They also have a nice selection of papers, cigarettes & Powerball tickets.
