Nice place for Dine In. # Thai
I went with my wife for the Dinner on her birthday. Although that was not the first time we visited this eatery. We have been their since they were located in Kh-e-Shamsheer near Sea View. I would say that they have the same taste, quality, service and ambiance. I got to know that they have a Buy 1 get 1 Offer for Lunch time and on week days. So nice place for some more than casual Dinner. Recommended
ZERO FOR ZOUK!
Cafe Zouk, our long-time favorite, scored an unforeseen ZERO on our dinner last Sunday. While the service was stellar, the food was pathetic! The Zouk Special Garden Salad had an over-abundance of iceberg lettuce, with a smattering of baby corn, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. Apart from the minimal garnish on the side, it was very tasteless. The worst ingredients were the croutons which were deep fried in a stale smelling cooking oil. Our other starter, the Sambal Oelek Chili prawns could be more adequately described as medium-sized shrimps. And, what used to be the tastiest entree, turned out to be the worst - the Thai Special Noodles, which were very oily, with the same stale taste as the croutons and virtually unpalatable! We left disappointed, hoping that this was the chef's day off and that the cuisine would bounce back to its former yumminess!
ZOUK.. WITH ZING!!
One of our favorite restaurants which offers a wide variety of yummy cuisines ranging from pan-asian to continental at reasonable prices continues to be Cafe Zouk. Last Sunday, we went there with our friends for dinner and decided to try some variations - the hot and sour soup was good but the mulligatawny was far too spicy to be faithful to its British Raj origins! The other tribute to the Brits - Fish n Chips was very good and so were the Thai entrees - the Special Thai noodles and the spicy Thai chicken! Yup! Zouk still has the ZING!!! Note : Make sure to book your table on the weekends - we saw long queues outside even as we finished dinner and were driving home.

Me and my family really enjoy having lunch or dinner at this place. They have options for kids also like burgers, pasta and fish & chips. Little bit expensive but it's a good place for small groups who want to celebrate any occasion. All dishes of chicken, fish and thai tastes good.
iftar
we were almost 20 friends And we choose zouk for our iftar.. which was decent but for the main course it was a selected ala carte menu. The hall was full but in a total chaos because they could not manage to deliver the main course
Perfect food
The food was perfect. I ordered mushroom steak which was nicely cooked. No under or over cooked. The quantity was very good. The braised kindo Chicken is my favorite and was very good. After meal ordered bread putting (served with vanilla ice cream). Although price is quite up but quality and taste is awesome
Not to go restaurant
We planned to visit Cafe Zouq to celebrate my birthday in September this year with wife and kids but the food experience was not that good. I ordered cordon bleu instead they bring stuffed chicken breast heavily breaded and deep fried. It really tasted bad and was nothing near the delicate French cuisine. If the restaurant owners or chefs have no knowledge of food or different cuisines then why add those dishes which they don't know to cook. Pinacolada was watery tasteless. Steak and chicken & other dishes all waste of money and time. The ambience decor was great and tempting but I will not waste a penny again for that rubbish food.
