NICE LITTLE BAR
HAD A BEER here when passing through, they sell Bombadier on draught, not bad price either. bit tatty, & a VERY steep stair case to the small upstairs, no good when u have had a few.
It's a pub, but not a english one :)
.. a football match, WC 2018 and 2 beers each - happy. Full house because of the match. There was serving food too, but I couldn't find a menu, only for drinks, - Pizza & burgers? Happy hours, 1 l local beer US $ 2 :) and a lot of local spirits - cheap!
Nice cheap bar away from the noisy downtown
If you prefer a quiet drinking night out with some cheap and yet quality drinks this is the perfect place to be. They serve food as well but we opted for drinks only. There is a happy hour as well from 12:00 to 18:00 each day as well as daily promotion of local spirits (palinka, unicum).
Terrible service
We'd not long landed and went for a walk for a few drinks, this bar came up on our search online so we went in. The barman made eye contact and started to grab glasses and asked what we would like. There were tables which were empty and not reserved and was comfortably busy. I spoke in English and ordered 2x gin and tonic to which he replied it was a full house and put the glasses back on the rack. We promptly left as we didn't feel welcome.
Not my first choice but it's ok
We were there twice. First time they didn't have Guiness, second time they didn't have food. The beers are average.
Worst place ever
Went here to see a football game (soccer ofc). It was a good place to warch tv, If you did not have to go to the bathroom or wouldnt like something to eat. The restroom stinked of something and i think the pizza was delivered from another place. The service wasnt good ether.
Great wee spot
Great spot.. Small but comfortable.. Great spot for a couple to have a few cheap drinks in a nice part of the Pest side

Ahol nem kell üvölteni " beszélgetés " címen 1 jó sör mellett
Ismerem a Pointert, még a pesti körútról. Ott elsősorban az utcai teraszon voltunk inkább - de 1-2 sör után már berekedtem ott is. Itt, a Margit krt-n hm, ez alapból nem fog megtörténni: kényelmes kanapén ülve lehet beszélgetni, bandázni és finom sört inni! A hangulat pont olyan, mint egy normális kocsmában lenni kéne. Eddig 3 pincért fogtam ki: egy szőke hölgy ritka kedvesen szolgált ki. A fiatalabb srác " megjegyezte ", hogy még " happy hour " -ban léptünk be, és rá 2 órára számára nem volt kérdés csökkentett áron számlázni. Engem meglepett a figyelmesség, pedig nem azért mentünk, de jól esett! Az idősebb pultos ép egy " tejfakasztó " buli miatt kissé szétcsúszott. Kb. 30 perc után mentem vissza szólni, h. csak kérnénk a sörünket, mert biza száradunk - elnézést kért és szó szerint fájdalomdíjként ő akart meghívni 1 sörre bennünket! Nem tudtam elfogadni, mert hiszen addig is normálisak voltak és biza láttam a szoszéd asztalnál ülő nagyobb társaság részéről az ugratást. Szeretek ide járni: jó a hely, otthonos! Javaslatom: duhajkodni NE IDE, inkább kicsit feljebb átellenben (oda mennek villogni az emberek), ide bandázni és társalogni érdemes jönni!!!
Cheap drinks - staff not so good
We called in for a few drinks as we had seen the happy hour signs outside. It was probably 4.45pm so it had been open a few hours. It appeared that the only other person in there was the bar ladies friend / family. When we got in the bar lady was mopping the floor and some what ignored us and carried on cleaning the floor. We asked to order our two drinks, one was a Gordon's gin and tonic the other a beer. She only went to get the drinks after she had finished the floor. I found the chairs very uncomfortable as they were wooden but there is a couple of sofas in there. I got up and tried to sit down and was that one was reserved. I went to sit in the only other one and was told that was reserved!!!! But there was no one in the whole of the pub!!!!! We probably sat in the pub for just over 40 mins and no one else came in. Why she couldn't just let us sit in the comfy seats I don't know. The Gordon's gin definitely was Not Gordon's but a cheaper alternative. Yet I paid for Gordon's. When you come to pay you have to pay a service charge!!! Did we get good service - no I don't think so. I do know that in some Pointer pubs they serve food not in this one except from sandwiches ready made in the fridge. I can now understand why no one else was in there
