Welcoming

Stayed onenight as we drove thru on our way to CA. Customer service was great, they even let us use the pool after hours & given the drive we had the pool was nice & refreshing. Spaces are clean and so are the bathrooms. We will definitely return. Thank you

Nice place for our overnight stop

Fort Beale Rv park is our 99th stop and we stayed overnight. It is exactly what we needed for our overnight stop as it was just off the highway on the way to our next stop. Check in was quick and being a small park, it was easy to find our site. The park is on a slight hill so there is a little leveling needed but the site was large for our rig and car. The park is very clean and well-maintained, even the longer term sites and the hook ups are well-placed. Although the park is just off I-40, there was limited road noise even with the windows open (and yes, there is an occasional train nearby). In terms connectivity: Verizon 352.0 down / 23.4 up; T-Mobile 40.0 down / 3.0 up; WiFi 3.0 down / 0.19 up

Great RV Park

We visited Kingman for an unfortunate circumstance that was requiring us to be there 3 weeks, we decided rather than a hotel or Airbnb we would take our travel trailer. I called and talked to Vicki and she was able to work with us to have a place to stay stress free. The park is clean, they laundry and showers were clean people were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend staying here. The pull through spots were easy to access full hook ups in a good spot. Can't thank Vicki enough hope to come back some day.

No other campground has done this to us

We called on September 15th at 9:49am to make a reservation for today 10 / 23 and was told they dont take payment over the phone, they write it on the calendar which she was doing. Only to show up today to be told noone made the reservation when we called and they had no spots. We drove from Texas. I'm beyond pissed. Businesses should have to compensate for these things, help us find another spot, when it's their eff up. We have our call log on our phone and I'm sure you can find out who was working that day. Totally unacceptable!

Return trip one night

This RV park was very clean. Walking distance to a Carl's Jr, Dollar General and gas station. You do get noise from the freeway. We just wear ear plugs when we go to bed. Nothing we haven't done at plenty of other RV parks. The man that check us in was extremely nice and helpful. It's on our list to stay again. The spots are wide and gravel. Picnic tables, clean bathrooms and dumpster are all available. I really like this place.

We liked it :)

This is a very well located park, That we found to be very nice. The suits are level and fairly wide, so easy to get into. The streets are paved and the wifi is great. If you have satellite you will have no problem connecting

A great few days in Kingman

We selected Fort Beale RV for our Kingman visit after checking reviews. We were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The park and facilities are clean and well kept. Some may not like the highway noise from Interstate 40 but we did not find it too much of a disturbance. We found it particularly great that we could walk to town, which we did several times. The museums are excellent!

Yuck

This place is right on the 40 and very noisy. Everyone here smokes like a chimney and not a chimney on a house, more like a chimney on a factory. If you are the Marlboro Man and cancer hasn't killed you already, you would feel welcome at the Fort Beale RV Park. If you don't mind cancer from second hand smoke, welcome to Fort Beale RV Park. It's like camping inside a lit cigarette.

Good RV Stop

Traveling across Highway 40 in Northern Arizona, our day ended in Kingman, AZ and we called the folks at Fort Beale RV Park to see if they had a spot for us for the night. Only 1 left, they said, and it was a back-in, but a straight shot and we wouldn't have to disconnect. Long story short, it was a long term spot. We didn't have to disconnect, but it wasn't a straight shot backing in and it was out of level by at least 3 blocks. The regular overnight spots looked nice and level, easy in, easy out. An okay park for the night overall.

Great RV Park

It's nice to find a well kept and clean RV park. This is exactly that. The manager takes pride in keeping it clean and as well as keeping the riff raff out. We stayed here for 5 weeks. It is located just off of I40 and good for overnight stays on the way to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and other tourist spots.

Wow! Just Super Nice!

So I'm not an aficionado of RV parks. We rented an RV to be able to travel easily with 3 dogs & a cat. This park is wonderful. So clean. Some trees. Pool that looked inviting. Clean, clean, clean! Check in was a breeze. Dog potty area, gated so they can roam to do their business.

Unexpected but very pleasant stay

We hadn't planned to overnight in Kingman, but our RV got a blowout and we were delayed. The local tyre shop recommended Fort Beale and we were so pleased he did. We had a lovely stay. The park was fairly full but there was room for us. RV sites were generous and the bathrooms were sparkling clean. The pool was lovely and cool. Vicki (the manager) was so helpful and kind. She pointed us in the direction of several nice dining places and activities while the RV was being fixed. The camp is quiet, despite being handy to several main roads. I would definitely recommend this RV park.

CLEAN & COZY

First time stay (2 nights) on our return trip from CA but it won't be our last. This well manicured park with paved streets and convenient hookups features both back in and pull through sites, each with a picnic table - some with some shade. Pool, laundry, restrooms are spotless. Front desk is helpful, efficient and welcoming.

Nice place to stay

Stayed here twice in June, once on way to CA and again on way back. Owner is very friendly and even when arriving at night she came out to great us and check us in. No issues with a 40ft 5th wheel, has large pull thru sites. Park is spotless and pet friendly, even has a fenced in area for dogs and easy access to I40 and 93. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

2018-03-27 06:37:06

nice, and clean

This is a nice park with level lots, easy well placed hookups ad shade trees. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner is a very nice lady too. Most of the campers are snowbirds and like to chat, Which I found very refreshing. It is easy to get to, just off the interstate. I had a great time while I was there.

2018-01-22 23:29:50

In Search of America - Her People & Places

We arrived late afternoon and the lady at the desk was friendly and helpful. We were given a wide pull through but it wasn't level. It had a slope on the ground that made the 5vr have to adjust a bit more. The location is close to a railroad track and the ground vibrated most of the night. That was most obnoxious part of the stay. I have nothing against this park but would stay elsewhere if I came through again.

Great place!

Stopped for one night on our way from Albuquerque to Bishop, CA. We arrived late and the manager Vicki greeted us. She was super friendly and helpful. Spot was nice, level and near the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen. Definitely recommend this rv park!

Gem to Enjoy

We spent a couple nights here in a very nice well maintained park with great facilities. Very clean park. Just far enough of the highways that the noise level is very low. Clean restrooms and showers too. Staff is very friendly.

2017-11-14 19:50:35

Friendly staff, nice showers & bath house, level sites

Stayed for two nights. Fast and friendly check-in. Park is laid out with clear directions. Site easy to find. Rented a pull through since we were pulling a trailer behind the RV. All utility hook-ups first rate, Site was level. Used showers, very clean and fresh. Location just off 1-40, right off Old Highway 66. Found that extremely convenient since we planned to bike to Oatman to the west first day, then Seligman to north and east on second day. Would definetly stay again if in the area.

2017-10-11 18:47:37

What a gem

We traveled in our motor home and stayed at Fort Beale RV Park. It was very well maintained and laundry room and bathrooms were clean. Our check in was handled professionally and the clerk was friendly. We would stay there again

2017-09-15 09:14:27

Very Clean with Nice Sites

We spent two nights here, and with the caveat that it is very close to I-40, it is a very nice, clean park and within easy walking distance (.7 miles) to a " downtown " section with a few restaurants and two great brew pubs. We travel in a 24-foot motorhome and would definitely stay here again.

Horrible Rip Offs

Called and made reservation for 4 nights. Told them we were coming for my cousins bday that lives there. I explained there would be about 10-15 people just for 1 day. With 5 kids swimming. We are all over 50yrs of age except for the kids. When I checked in 2 cars of people drove in with us just to hang out for about 1 hr. Then they left. Next morning my husband was approached by some maintenance man telling him we need to leave and we can't have a party there and everyone in park lives there!! He was not a nice man and very loud and rude. We left because we felt threatened and they told us only me and my husband can be there. There place was dirty and everyone there was very rude. They refused to give us our money back. Still trying to get some of it at least back! I will never go back. Worse experience ever !!! Stay away !! Liars 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Nice place for spending the night

We spent 2 nights here. Nice and clean. Vicky at the office was very nice and helpful. We were went to the Route 66 area. Showers nice. Only thing Wifi did not work. Was told it was not real high on the owners list. That is too bad as it was advertised. Was told if I came over to the office I would be able to connet

2017-04-21 23:58:25

Good, clean park!

Really liked this park, very clean and well kept. No grass, but some sort of tree or shrub between sites for a little privacy. They also softened the hardscape... Gravel sites, pretty good size, mostly level although we did use some leveling blocks. Very nice restroom with separate shower stalls, and it looked like a very nice pool area! Close to freeway but we were deep enough in park that noise was not an issue. Would definitely come back.

2017-03-27 17:55:37

A nice place

The park is well kept and the lots are large. It is close to the I40 so easy to get on and off the interstate, really the noise from the interstate is very little. The internet works well. You should book ahead as there is not a lot of sites. We would stay here again.

2016-10-02 20:45:40

Trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Wanderings of a traveling nurse

We were very happy with our choice of Fort Beale RV Park. Sites were very large and graveled. We have a 41ft motor home and tow a 20ft trailer. We did not want to unhook the trailer. Great pull through just right. Yes it is close to I 40 and you can hear the noise but isn't the proximity to the hwy a plus? We would stay here again it is perfect for a day or two to explore the museums in town.

2016-08-27 10:27:07

Right next to I 40

This small, well kept RV park is right next to I 40 which makes it convenient to get to if you're traveling through but it also means there is a fair amount of traffic noise all night. It was hot so we had to run the AC all night which masked the sounds of the traffic. The park is situated on slightly sloping terrain which means you may have to level your RV since the sites themselves have not been leveled. The restrooms were very clean. The price for a full hook-up was reasonable. The staff person was friendly and helpful. It was a good place to stop for one night on our way to California

2016-06-22 11:58:57

Overnachting

Wel makkelijk als tussenstop naar Las Vegas. Zwembad en verder niet zo veel leuk om de route 66 te rijden en hier te overnachten. Heel warm goed om te wennen aan de hitte in las Vegas. Wij waren in juni hier

2016-06-07 21:03:44

Camping

This campground is very nice and clean. The highway is a bit noisy but it isn't bad once you are in your rv. They have very clean bathrooms and the pool is small but very clean and so refreshing. I will definitely come back here, in fact this is our second visit to this campground.

2016-06-05 14:13:07

Wonderful

Great place to crash for the night arrived after hours and the owners opened up for us and treated us like family. Would most definitely stay there again very clean open parking areas clean restrooms easy to get too

2016-03-03 14:06:39

Clean park, noisy area

Small park, appears clean and well maintained. However it can be noisy as there is a tire business directly beside the park which can be loud with air pressure tools and revving motors some of the day. Also street noise and trains at night. Didn't pay close attention to the park view on website, should have realized that area surrounding park had been blocked out.

The beauty of a small town!

Listen up Canadians! This is where you want to park to see the Grande Canyon. Kick off your RV and relax. The people are genuine in helping our stay with tons of information. This place is spotless and the sights are easy to park. Very safe park as well. Had trouble with with transmission and just down the street a shop. Automatic transmission rebuilders is working hard to have me up and running soon. The office staff here has offered rides to the store if we needed anything. Couldn't be in better hands. They have propane, showers, laundry, full hook up, swimming pool, free cable, restroom all on site. If your passing thru $10.00 dumping station. Kingman has tons of stuff to visit and in the middle for doing day trips. Denis and Jeannine, Calahoo, Alberta

Friendly and welcoming

Small, well kept, clean RV park, we were made to feel very welcome. Stayed one night during the 'Best of the West' festival in Kingman and was an ideal location, walkable to the old town and the Locomotive Park where the car show was located. You can hear the road at this location but it was so hot we had the air con on most of the time so didn't really notice it. Hook up, private sewage outlet and table all provided. Has a nice view over the mountains as a backdrop.

2015-10-15 14:49:03

Clean, accomodating park

Stayed there for 3 days while visiting friends in Kingman. Easy to access the park, from the freeway. Many of the sites are pull through and large enough for almost any size rig. Contrary to what has been posted here, we found the staff quite friendly and accomodating. Exceptionally clean rest rooms and facilities. There is a slight downhill (side to side) slant in the park, but it only takes a slight adjustment to level effectively. We drove around and reviewed the other parks in the city limits of Kingman and found this to be the nicest. Train noise may be a problem for some, depending on the acoustics of their rig, since the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe mainline is a few blocks away. (Didn't bother us because we live in a train town) We will stay here again when in Kingman. We stayed here in our 33 ft. 5th wheel.

2015-06-14 03:02:35

Horrible management

The park was easy to find with a great location. We found the facilities adequate. The internet service advertised was not available and laundry had no change machine. The management staff was rude and very unfriendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

2014-09-03 23:35:06

Great Place To Stop

This is a very clean RV park and easy to access. Far enough from I-40 that you do not hear the road noise. Price is $33 with Good Sam discount. You get cable, wifi, 50amp, sewer and water. Accepts small dogs and has a run in the back. Great restaurant within walking distance. Also has a Carl's and Texaxo convenience store next door.

2014-05-27 17:33:35

Great find

We stopped here on our way to the Grand Canyon and were pleasantly surprised. The park was well kept and friendly staff. Just off the main highway. It had full hookups with wifi, cable, 30 amp, water and sewer. The sites were gravel pull thru and pretty level. Some of the sites were occupied by full timers but it wasn't in a creepy way. We stayed in a 37' fifth wheel and would stay here again.

2014-05-18 09:16:53

Jewel of Kingman

Great RV Park. Mrs. Buck was there in the office the last time we visited she was very helpful with the history of Kingman and Oatman area. Will recommend this park to anyone traveling in that direction.

2014-03-30 22:15:03

Clean easy to find

We came here by finding it on an app on my phone and it is just an RV park that a lot of full time people live in. It is like parking lot camping not enjoyment scenery by far. But it is clean and convenient location for us traveling to the Grand Canyon. It does have full hook ups, wifi, showers, laundry and it's pet friendly which they do not charge for pets that's a plus!

2013-10-14 15:49:13

Adequate

We stayed one night on our way to Phoenix. It is a small, nondescript park with convenient freeway access. There is evidently a nearby railroad track which is quite busy; we had both track noise and warning whistles throughout evening and night. Best to call for rates and details as they have been unable to update their website for some time.

2013-07-03 15:53:25

Nice stopover on the way to Grand Canyon from Vegas

This was our first night stay with our rental RV on our way from Vegas to Grand Canyon. We arrived after the office was closed but our site was ready with a pay envelope and instructions to get into the bathrooms, free wi-fi etc (we didn't meet or see anyone at the office). The bathrooms were super clean and the pool was nice in the hot weather. There was full hook ups. I took one dot off from a full 5 because I had reserved a spot at least 4 months ago and but they didn't have my name on the reservations. Luckily, we called from the airport before our flight took off in CA to check and they were able to accommodate us. We almost panicked there!

2013-06-13 13:56:29

Quite Jem

Unfortunately we had to be towed into Ft. Beale RV Park, but we called them from the road and informed them of a late arrival and the breakdown we had. Site was ready for us and we had no issues with trailer set up. Mechanic shop next door took care of our Tow Vehicle very quickly. Ft. Beale RV park was a pleasant experience, Bathrooms / showers were spotless. Pool was clean, pull through sites were wide and long. Everything there was perfect. Will use them every time I need to stop in Kingman, AZ.

Great RV Park in a beautiful area

Fort Beal RV Park is a great place to spend a few days as we did as we were traveling between Tucson and Las Vegas. The park has very easy access right off the 40 freeway. The office staff was quite delightful especially since they have lived in San Luis Obispo, my home town. Our spot was quite wide and long enough for our 38 foot Monaco with a motorcycle lift holding my Triumph and our CR-V tow car. We were able to pull right on through without having to disconnect the car. The coach with the Motorcycle is equal to a 45 foot coach so plenty of room for everyone. There were some nice evergreen trees on the sites but easy access for my DirecTV satellite with nothing in the way. Everything considered this is a great park and a welcome site after driving 300 miles north from Tucson. I highly recommend and would like to stay here longer next time.

2012-10-31 18:43:01

easy on and off the highway

Even though this park is right off the highway there is little to no highway noise. What you will hear are train whistles, and a lot of them! There are level gravel sites, with the center being all long pull thrus suitable for big rigs. Free WIFI worked well at the sites. Sprint phone and 3G were good. No trees large enough to block your satellite. Bath and laundry were clean, park was very well kept. Staff was friendly. Some sites have picnic tables which will need a cloth to cover both top and bench if you want to use them as the sun has damaged the plastic making them chalky. Stayed here in a 40ft class A with toad, would stay again.

2012-08-11 17:57:31

Glad we chose Fort Beale

Needed a stopover place on way from California to Sedona and found Fort Beale to be well managed, amazingly well maintained, and an easy place to park our 26' motor home. I went to the pool in the late afternoon and enjoyed visiting with a couple people who regularly use Fort Beale because of the location. On this particular day, there weren't any children around. Clean park, clean bathrooms, laundry room availability. All good!

2012-04-26 09:39:24

Nice little place

Fort Beal is a nice stop over. Not my kind of place for an extended stay, but very nice. Clean, spacious lots, pool, and laundry room. Tv stations are minimal, train noises, are my only issues, but even that os not that bad. For a stop over it is a very nice park
