De 10 le podría un 20, precioso apto con vistas excelentes y de la limpieza ya ni hablemos, inmejorable. Lo mejor de mi viaje. Laura muy atenta con todo detalle. No se puede pedir mas. El mejor con diferencia
estafadores
Una estafa. Hice una reserva con ellos para poder ir del 15 al 20 de junio. Por razones de causa mayor (razones médicas) no podemos acudir. Solicito la cancelación el día 2 de junio vía correo electrónico y no me responden (tras insistirles varias veces) hasta el día 6 en el cual para mi sorpresa me cobran 138 euros. Me dicen que son 14 días los que se disponen para cancelar. Se les indica que desde el día 2 inclusive hasta el 15 son 14 días. Se niegan a realizar la devolución del importe. Por lo tanto he procedido a denunciarlo en la OCU
A lovely apartment in a perfect location
Perfect location in the old town across from the port, near to shops and restaurants, and walking distance to the beach. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Our apartment had a lovely terrace. Laura, our host was very responsive. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you plan to take the ferry to Tangier; very convenient.
Wonderful stay!
We booked the Alameda studio apartment at Puerta la Mar for one night prior to taking the ferry to Tangier. The minute we walked in, we added another night. The apartment is bright, spacious and modern and has wonderful touches. Full kitchen and windows facing south and across the port to the sea. (No elevator fyi) Laura went out of her way to be an exceptional host, and Isabel's service was also above and beyond. (Note: easy way to communicate with Laura is via WhatsApp.) Perfect location just across from the port in a narrow old town walking street. We parked in the port parking lot - easy and secure. Loved Tarifa. Felt authentic and local. Amazing seafood dinner at La Pescaria on same alley as the hotel. Get the tuna! Outdoor vibe as you can walk a path to the old castle with Mediterranean on one side and Atlantic on the other. Gorgeous long beaches on Atlantic - big kite surfing and wind surfing area. While you can see Tarifa in a few hours easily, we just felt connected there and liked the vibe so enjoyed just being there the extra day and night.

Excellent furnished flats with zea view
We had a flat on 2nd floor, with a full sea view, and we stayed a short week. The venue looks like spanking new (eventually it is repainted often) and modern. It was fully equipped: AC and kitchen, even with a coffee machine. Mattress was excellent so were the bedding and towels. Flat was very quiet, you cannot hear anyone or anything, despite a central location. Across the castle and the port entrance, the location is a mere 100M to all the bars and restaurant. There is a washing machine on the top floor which can be used by guests in the afternoon. The owner was or only friendly but very helpful too. The only con was that they dont supply additional beach towels. We paid 90 euros a night. We would come again if we travel to Tarifa.
Precioso alojamiento
Nos hemos alojado el fin de semana en este alojamiento, en la habitación El Sueño del Viajero. Me ha encantado, la habitación es pequeñita pero no le falta un detalle, muy limpia y bonita, ubicación excelente. El personal excelente.
Fin de semana de ensueño
Con 200 palabras no se puede describir lo maravilloso de este apartamento. Buena ubicación, vistas espectaculares, este lugar lo tiene todo para apartarte de la rutina y vivir en una nube. Nosotros estuvimos en el Ático Castillo, impresionante, madre mía, quieres quedarte a vivir ahí. Todo limpísimo, la bañera enorme, la cama comodísima... no tengo nada malo que decir, y las chicas responsables son un encanto. Repetiremos segurísimo!! Pongo foto de las vistas ya que las fotos que aparecen en la página del Puerta la Mar son fieles a su descripción.
Ottima soluzione
Ideale per una notte, max 2 visto gli spazi molto ridotti per bagagli e camera. Nuovissimo arredato, attaccato al porto per chi viaggia per Marocco. Gestione famigliare e prezzo interessante, silenzioso.

Este hotel es muy recomendable por su ubicación, bellos, cómodo y de muy buen gusto. limpieza impecable atención de la persona de contacto muy amable. Imagino que hay muchas otras opciones pero este es perfecto para grupos o familias.

Arredamento nuovo, camere molto belle e pulite. Ristrutturazione moderna. Ottima posizione e centralissimo. Personale gentile e cortese. Piccola Piscina sul tetto molto bella e curata. Da migliorare la colazione.
la opcion perfecta
Muchas gracias Laura. Un lugar muy cuidado y mimado... perfecto para estar unos dias en Tarifa, Creo que mas centrico imposible. Nosotros nos alojamos una noche para poder coger el ferry al dia siguiente (2 minutos a pie). Habitaciones silenciosas y wifi funciona muy bien.
Great place but could do better!
My husband and children (8 and 3yrs old) decided to visit Tarifa once again and stayed via Air b & b at Puerta La Mar. It is not very often that there was no wind here and at the beach this was a treat! The apartment is perfectly located across the road to the Castle and very close to the port and beach. Sadly at the apartment, without air con and with only one fan, we had a very uncomfortable night as the children could not sleep and opening a window (there was little breeze this night) was of no help as the noise level was very high as this is nearby restaurants and main road so there was a lot of clanging and banging of bins being dragged down the street and people walking and talking until the early hours. The host Laura could not bring us another fan so we endured the sleepless night as we were only staying this night. The shower needs some attention-water does not drain quickly enough and the bathroom gets flooded so we had to mop it and the pull out day bed is not very comfortable, so maybe 2 x single beds would be more comfortable for guests. With attention to detail this GREAT place can be an AMAZING place (especially with air con!)
Fabulous apartment
Everything about Puerta La Mar is fabulous our room was a mini apartment with kitchen facilities, sitting area so clean and nicely decorated with a beautiful view overlooking the port. Ideal location for visiting the many bars and restaurants in the old quarter. We just wish we were staying longer will definitely return, just simply perfect. Well deserve 5 stars.
Sobrevalorado
Pero empiezar lo bien.... bonito interior y bien ubicado. Si eres joven y te gusta la marcha mete te ahí, si quieres pagar un pocito más. Si vas con familia o buscas tranquilidad no te metas ahí. Todo de noche hay ruido de algo sea gente de marcha, tráfico que sale del barco o niños del jardín de juego. No hay lavadora, ni para planchar, y si quieres cada día toalla limpia pagas extra. Este apartamento es el típico bonito por el catálogo, ni bien para residir en la práctica. Cocina vasillo de visitas como sal, jabón de manos, pimienta etc.. pero bueno esto es lo menos.
The most beautiful place in Tarifa
We were advised by the nice gentleman of the bar underneath the appartements and we were absolutely flabbergasted by the beautiful, clean, comfortable places we were shown, with wonderful views of the ocean. Maria del Amor and Laura the owner are so nice. What a wonderful experience and the price is almost too good!!
Super Wohnung mit tollem Blick in zentraler Lage
Tolle Wohnung, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Nette, hilfreiche Vermieter. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral am Rande der Altstadt (nachts kann es etwas laut werden, wenn die Nachtschwärmer nach Hause ziehen) und bietet einen tollen Blick.
I'm staying here again!
Great location, you can have breakfast while looking at the African mountains. The place is absolutely clean, organized and the customer service superb. Lightly, fresh and with all you need for a couple days of a great stay.
Fin de semana en Tarifa
Apartamento genial, muy buena ubicación. Muy limpio todo, las sábanas, etc y cuidado con detalles. Fácil entrega y devolución de llaves. Muy atentos a cualquier petición y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento.
Inmejorable
Tanto la ubicación, instalaciones y trato son inmajorables. En un lugar privilegiado de tarifa. Nos ha encantado y repitiriamos una y mil veces. Encantador. La limpieza y el acondicionamiento perfecto. Y la atención por parte de los propietarios de 10. Gracias por un fin de semana inolvidable.
Decorado con mucho gusto
Es un sitio precioso justo enfrente del puerto, buena ubicación con todos los detalles. El personal muy simpatico y atento. Lo único malo q se iba constantemente La Luz espero q fuera un caso aislado a causa del viento....
Como en un cuento
De visita a tarifa con amigos para visitar familia descubrimos estos apartamentos para alojar a conocidos. No esperas lo que hay dentro hasta que entras asi de sencillo. Limpieza impoluta rapidez en los checks y unas vistas de cuento encantado ahora que llueve y hace frio. De frente el castillo milenario y el puerto. En un paseo peatonal muy conocido en la ciudad repleto de restaurantes tipicos y buen sitio para desayunar y comer justo debajo de los apartamentos. Precio bastante aceptable. Recomendable sin duda.
Excelente atención y limpieza
Estupendo sitio para alojarse, limpieza, atención del personal y sobre todo excelente ubicación, justo en frente del puerto y del Castillo en pleno casco antiguo y a escasos minutos de la playa, a sido una grata experiencia, sin duda lo recomiendo
Great residence, super hostess
What can I say? Laura is a super friendly and ever so obliging hostess. She goes out of her way to accommodate her guests and even went so far as to apologise to me for the bad weather that struck Tarifa upon my arrival. Puerta la Mar is a great residence (not a hotel) in the historic centre of this quaint little town, at a top location near its port and castle, with both the beaches and the small alleyways packed with bars and restaurants a short walking distance away. Rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated with Andalusian and Moorish touches. If you can spare the extra cash you really should go for the " attico " room on the highest level (mind you: lots of stairs to climb!) with its fabulous terrace overlooking the castle and the Mediterranean with views all the way up to the Moroccan coast. It also features a modern kitchen, making it ideal for a longer stay. If I ever go back to Tarifa (as I plan to), I will always check first if this superb apartment is available. And so should you.
Segunda visita y para volver
En terreno conocido pero distinto apartamento. Sigo diciendo que la atención 10 (tanto de Laura como de Maika), ahí estaban para todo. Limpieza extrema en el apartamento y con detalles que marcan la diferencia. Espero volver por tercera vez.
Un gran descubrimiento!!
Después de varios veranos de vacaciones en Tarifa nos hemos alojado por casualidad en Puerta la mar y nos ha sorprendido. Situación, limpieza, vistas panorámicas hacia el estrecho, castillo, Marruecos.... Además a la entrada al casco antiguo, cercano a todo. Lo mejor que he conocido después de muchos años alojandome en varios sitios de la zona. Personal muy amable. Repetimos sin duda.

Ottima posizione ottima la pulizia, casa accogliente, arredi nuovi, ottimi infissi che isolano perfettamente dal vociare esterno inevitabile vista la posizione Unica nota a margine scaricate le valigie e poi dovrete iniziare la caccia al parcheggio In agosto Tarifa e' logicamente piena di turisti Ci tornerei molto volentieri
Appartamenti nuovi in centro a Tarifa
Ottimi appartamenti in centro a Tarifa, pulito, accogliente e ad un passo dai locali notturni e a 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia e dai chiringuiti. Staff veramente gentile e disponibile... Consigliatissimo!!!
Prisvärt centralt boende
Fint och rent rum (Bellavista) med mycket bra läge, nära hamnen och borgen. Vår värd var trevlig och tog emot oss när vi kom. Enda nackdelen var att kommunen spolade (städade) torget tidigt om morgonen, varje dag. Och för värmens skull behövde vi ha fönstren öppna, så man väcktes tidigt. Ta med öronproppar!
Fantastic experience
LOVED my 3 night stay here as I prepared to ride my bicycle from Tarifa to Nordkapp in far north Norway. The room was extremely comfortable and beautifully laid out with tasteful furniture. Mine was a corner room with windows on two walls that faced out either to the fort or the ocean. Check in was smooth and Laura (?) was more than helpful in assisting me with restaurants to visit and sights to see. She also kindly allowed me to store luggage for a night after I had left awaiting its pick up by a courier. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY here again in the future should I be visiting this wonderful part of the world.
Tolle Wohnung mit Blick auf Afrika
Geschmackvoll renovierte Wohnung mit allem, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt braucht. Die Lage ist sensationell. Die Altstadt mit vielen hübschen Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäften ist direkt um die Ecke, den Strand erreicht man auch in 5 Minuten. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hielt einige Empfehlungen für uns bereit.
Mejor imposible
La ubicación y la atención de Laura no puede ser mejor. La limpieza del apartamento y el edificio en general es estupenda, muy bien amueblado y con unas vistas fantásticas. Volveré a Tarifa y volveré a Puerta La Mar seguro.
Mejor imposible, volvemos seguro!!
Mejor estancia imposible. Fuimos dos parejas con un bebé y nos alojamos en el apartamento Sancho IV. Laura y Inma encantadoras, nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Los apartamentos están recién reformados y con mucho gusto. No falta detalle. La ubicación ideal, tanto para ir a la playa, como para descansar, como para salir a comer, aunque estas en el centro las ventanas aislan muy bien. Mira si es buen sitio que nos casamos el año q viene en Tarifa y hemos reservado los 5 apartamentos para ir con toda nuestra familia. Recomendable 100%
Perderse
Preciosos los apartamento y muy buen de precio ymuy bien el trato del persona gracias volveremos bunas vista a cinco de la playa y dos del casco urbano y muy bien situado y maravillosas vista y muy tranquilo
Escapada al viento
Escapada improvisada a Tarifa. Alojamiento céntrico, habitaciones completas y totalmente reformadas. Decoración con mucho gusto y estilo. Muy céntrico y persona de contacto muy amable. Playas a 10-15 min en coche y ambientillo por las calles del centro. Buen shopping...100% recomendable. No van a querer volverse a casa....
Apartamentos totalmente recomendables
Casa entera completamente arreglada y dividida en diferentes apartamentos. En el mismo centro de Tarifa al lado del puerto, pero con muy buen aislamiento en las ventanas, que impide que entre el ruido de la calle Su responsable Laura nos ayudó incluso desde antes de la llegada, aconsejándonos sobre el aparcamiento. Relación calidad-precio buena Volveremos seguro
Alojamiento muy recomendable a buen precio
Desde el primer momento, la gerente Laura nos ayudó muchísimo en todo. Tenían una habitación libre más grande que nos ofrecieron al mismo precio. Era nuestra primera vez en Tarifa y nos ayudó muchísimo en recomendaciones para visitar o sitios para comer. Al lado de la playa con vistas magníficas. Limpieza de 10. Muy nuevo y moderno a la vez que confortable.
Céntrico, tranquilo y limpio
Pequeños apartamentos perfectos para pasar unos días. Esta situado frente al puerto en el centro de Tarifa. A pesar de su ubicación, las ventanas silencian completamente el apartamento y no se escucha nada del exterior. La decoración es bonita, resulta muy agradable y Laura es muy atenta en todo momento, además de cercana. Muy recomendable.
