Our B & B combines the comforts of country living with state of the art facilities. As the closest B & B to the Meadow Lake Provincial Park, you'll find sandy beaches nearby. It offers good fishing and other outdoor activities. We are close to four golf courses. Only a short drive from Cold Lake, Alberta, you'll have access to all of the commercial amenities of a small city as well as Cold Lake's beaches, marina and other attractions.

Way above expectations!!!
Super nice bed and breakfast. We have stayed at several over the years and nothing has come close to this gem. We even got advice on fishing, dining places, etc. That can really put you on the inside track rather than just feeling like a stranger.
Wonderfully beautiful place to stay
Went for the New Year's weekend just for a little get away, this bed and breakfast is simply gorgeous. The wonderful hostess has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay a great one, from beautiful decorations, comfortable common area with coffees, teas, hot chocolates, and delicious baking. The room we stayed in was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything you could need. Breakfasts were fantastic! The fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice that is waiting for you when you come down the stairs was awesome to wake up to and the main breakfast to follow was amazing. We had a great stay, comfortable, beautiful house, fantastic food, and great conversation. Could not have asked for anything more.
Exceeded Expectations
I had heard Maguire's Bridge was nice, but wow. WOW. The place is gorgeous! Ask about the stories behind the decor, which features an Irish, European and local flare. Sharon is a natural when it comes to hospitality. No set time or menu for breakfast - let her know what you'd like (and when) the day before, or just say 'surprise me' - you won't be disappointed. Our room was spacious and very comfortable - four-poster bed, large closet, jet tub, and balcony. A great place to work on my next book - very peaceful... it felt like home!
Continues to Outshine All Others
Sharon is a fantastic host and went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. Our room had some lovely antique (or very nearly) furniture and the bed was heavenly. There are several balconies to choose from. Breakfast on both days made our day. Juice, fresh fruit on yoghurt, a different main, homemade bread and, if you ask a day or two beforehand, cinnamon buns that are to die for. You have use of the living room with a TV, microwave, fridge, coffee and tea. 25 minutes from Cold Lake - but peaceful. Thanks again!!
Went for business but it was totally a PLEASURE
This house was clearly built and decorated with LOVE! The attention to detail to ensure a guests ultimate experience was evident. Sharon is an amazing hostess and cook! I truly had the most amazing and relaxing stay.
Lovely B & B
Upon arrival we relaxed and enjoyed tea and homemade cinnamon buns infront of the fireplace in the living room. Then retreated upstairs to our spacious and beautiful decorated suite with a very comfortable bed. In the morning Sherry spoiled us with the yummiest breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Home Sweet Home
Thank you Sharon for the wonderful hospitality! We truly felt right at home, from the delicious and timely breakfasts to the warmth of the fireplace, fresh muffins, tea kettle and the comfy beds when we came arrived in the evening. We'll certainly be back:)
There really isn't anything to fault
The house is purpose built. Every detail has been meticulously considered. The owner / operator is passionate about her hospitality. Quite the surprise in the middle of nowhere. we chose the back room. It had a balcony and a canopy bed.
Visiting Pierceland, SK for a reunion!
The bed and breakfast was beautiful. Sharon and Bud looked after us very well. We loved the breakfast we got to chose pretty much whatever we wanted! Great idea as it saves you from having to eat something you don't actually want. Place was new, very clean and tidy, well maintained, we had room 1 which had as lovely 4 post bed, we had a very good sleep, so quiet.
What A Hidden Treasure
Run by two of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Sharon and Bud run a wonderful B & B that is 5 star living at a 2 star price. Rooms are spacious and opulent with a full bath in each room. Sharon is an amazing cook and I can not recall a better omelet ever. If you are looking to get away and relax, Maquire's Bridge B & B is the perfect escape.

This is a fantastic bed and breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here when you are in the area. The rooms are very comfortable and I had a great sleep. Breakfast was super yummy! You will not be disappointed.
Truly Amazing!
Sharon has put together the perfect B & B with wonderful antique furniture, large purpose built rooms, and wonderful charm. Everything works well, from the TVs to the internet. Your choice of breakfasts is endless and we would recommend the cinnamon rolls for at least one morning. As Pierceland is only a short distance from Cold Lake, it only makes sense to stay here.
It doesn't get better
On a work trip in nearby Meadow Lake, my colleague and I had very few suitable options in the area to stay for a 3 night trip. Although beautiful, this part of Saskatchewan is sparsely populated and even more so in decent places to stay. We travel all across North America and try to make an effort to stay at B & B's because it really helps reduce road fatigue, eating healthy, and learning more about a locale. Sharon was an excellent host, cook, guide, and great person to chat with. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfasts are catered to the most particular tastes with requests, allergies, and options presented the night before and confirmed the day of. Fresh home made bread and local garden vegetables are utilized to the fullest extent. Maguire's feels like a home away from home. We've stayed at other B & B's and they are nice, but it still feels like you're just a number. The food is okay, the people are nice, but it's just a job for them. They have desire to make your stay enjoyable but it's not their true passion. Sharon's passion is Maguire's. She is really what makes it so great. She even went the extra mile to get us on our way expeditiously. This is the best place we've stayed in a very long time. If you're in the area, ditch the hotels in Cold Lake or nearby and give her a shot. I promise you won't be disappointed. Although busy, it's a very personal and comfortable experience.
AMAZING!!!
We stayed here the weekend of May 18, 2013-We were pleasantly surprised with the awesome accomadation!! We were welcomed with a smile and we felt like we were at home. The rooms are immaculately clean with modern well appointed rooms with excellent, comfortable beds / bedding. I would 100% recommend this new, clean and friendly B & B. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast and she catered to what we wanted, all fresh and homemade. Our breakfast was fresh and fantastic!!! It was such an amazing and restful experience for us after a long day. We will be back and suggest that everyone to try this B & B - you won't be dissappointed!
