Très bonnes pizza, mais patronne dans un mauvais jour
Les pizzas sont très bonnes. L'endroit est agréable avec un billard. J'ai mis 3 étoiles car la patronne nest pas accueillante et pas souriante du tout dans un pays où tout le monde sourit.
Best pizza in town! And loveliest owner!
In Lazy Mekong Daze you will find for sure the best pizza in town - probably the best in Cambodia. We spent two nights in Kampong Cham and returned three times to eat here and never were disappointed. Especially in the evening the restaurant offers you a perfect spot to watch the cities outdoor activities like groups of teens dancing and young boys skateboarding. Beside the great pizzas (that are handmade right after your order!) the owner Dary is a lovely and very caring person. We booked with her as well our bus tickets and rented a motorbike for one day. Everything was just perfect.

Seriously, great flat crust, oven pizza_two cheese was a winner! Tuna salad is great! Fruit plates! Fish and potatoes plate was great, too. Everything is tasty but affordable. Been in business for many years... 8 years+ But the pizza is totally worth the trip!
Super accueil et centre d'information
Daze qui nous accueil est très sympathique, petit déjeuner, déjeuner, pizza, tickets de bus, réservation de taxi, location de vélos et de scooters. Ce lieu au bord du Mékong et très polyvalent. Il y fait bon vivre, on vous le conseille!
The best riverside food in Kampong Cham
They have two chefs, one does great western food, the other local / Asian dishes. The portions are big and great value. The BEST PIZZAS by far in Kampong Cham and Cambodia for that matter. The Pizza Company down the road is hideously expensive and typically poor quality. Lazy Mekong Daze pizzas are authentic, they have a proper pizza oven. The service is great and I go for lunch and dinner often. I've also hired motos from there and they've always been newish condition and cheap for the day. Just $5 currently.
Simple pizza
Slept one night in Kompong Cham and based on reviews came here for dinner. The pizza was very simple (you're in the provinces) yet delicious, we (group of 3 friends) tried different pizzas and pancakes which were very nice. We also ordered garlic bread but it never arrived (waitress didn't write down the order). Atmosphere very nice, mixture of local and expat diners. Would I eat here again, yes I would. Suggest you give it a go!
Pizza
The place to go if you want pizza in Kampong Cham. The owners are also really friendly and it's got good views of the Mekong.
Very very average
Ok so some people think this place is magnificent. Oh dear what do they normally eat, can they cook themselves you have to ask yourself. I had probably the smallest pizza ever which was very over cooked and very expensive for what it was, honestly a frozen supermarket pizza is better. The wife had a very average spaghetti bolognese. We went here based on the reviews wish we hadn't bothered. We sadly never tried Moustache & Nico wish we had, it's not local food but I think they know what they are doing. I would go there if I were you.
Best pizza in Cambodia!
We are an American family that live in Kampong Cham. Lazy Mekong is our favorite restaurant. We go there once a week for the pizza and many other menu items that are great!
Excellent food, warm people :-))
We ate at the Lazy Mekong Daze a least 5 times! Rice and noodles are excellent, my daughter ate the " best pizzas ever " she said! Dary, the owner, is an efficient and kind lady and we encourage everyone to go to her place!

Petit restaurant tout simple face au Mekong. Pizzas excellentes: pâte croustillante et garniture savoureuse. A faire envier bien des pizzeria en France!

ピザだけでなく、カンボジア料理もあります。ちょっと暗めなかんじですが、味はいいです。目の前にはメコン川があり、夕方にはカンボジア人がエクササイズでおどっています。
Great restaurant with mekong view
They make very good pizza here. Also have khmer and western food at reasonable prices. Owner speaks English and French.
QG de Kampong Cham
Déjà la cuisine est savoureuse et les plats ne sont vraiment pas chers (sandwich et plat khmers dans les 3$ et pizza moyenne 4-5 $). Daryn cherche toujours à arranger ses clients. Elle nous a loué des motos, des vélos et a réservé nos billets de bus ! Bref à tous les niveaux, je recommande !
Große Frühstückskarte
Auf der Suche nach einem schönen Platz zum Frühstücken sind wir hier fündig geworden. Die Auswahl auf der Frühstückskarte ist groß und die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Brot, es handelt sich definitiv nicht um das sonst übliche Baguette. Dazu kommt die schöne Lage am Mekong und der freundliche Service. Wir hatten hier einen perfekten Start in den Tag.
A wonderful place in kampong cham
Here you can eat delicious pizzas. Here you can rent motorcycles and bikes for affordable prices. Here you can also book bus tickets to continue your journey. Most important here you can talk with the owner who is such a lovely person :). We highly recommend this place
Super!
Das Essen hier ist super lecker. Die Preise liegen so zwischen 3-6$ für ein einheimisches Gericht, die Pizzen sind allerdings etwas teurer. Die Besitzerin spricht super Englisch und hilft einem wo sie nur kann. Eine super nette Frau, die sich für andere einsetzt. Großes Lob an Dary!
Bel endroit
Excellente cuisine et propriétaire est adorable, pour un prix très raisonnable. J'ai adoré le riz au lait de coco, poulet et légumes et le jus de fruits de la passion frais. Les portions sont copieuses. Vous pouvez y aller en toute confiance !
Lovely place
Very nice owner and some of the best and cheapest wine per glass we have found in Cambodia. Both the western and local food is very tasty. Also some very good motorbike to rent here.
Een prima pizza en gastvrijheid
Een restaurant aan de boulevard van Kampong Cham. Erg vriendelijke bediening een gastvrouw die precies aanvoelt wat je wilt en oog heeft voor details. De pizza en salade was uitstekend en knapperig met prima bodem. Echt een aanrader als je even klaar bent met het plaatselijke eten.

Saveur et chaleur
Ce restaurant est juste incroyablement délicieux. C'est sans doute notre meilleure adresse au Cambodge avec Little Kroma à Siem Reap. Nous ne nous lassons pas de parcourir leur carte, Lok Lak savoureux, Amok extra mais il y a aussi les currys relevés à souhait ! Nous n'avons pas goûté les pizzas, nous aurons tout le reste de l'année pour en manger tous les jours ! N'hésitez pas à tester Lazy Mékong Daze, c'est une cuisine authentique et saine, le restaurant est très propre et Dary vous donnera plein d'infos pour organiser votre séjour. Nous avons entre autres passé deux jours avec un chauffeur de TukTuk (Phal Sou) qu'elle nous a recommandé. Il parle le Français et nous a fait découvrir la région avec beaucoup de passion et une grande gentillesse.
Bonne bouf
Nous y avons mangé à plusieurs reprises. Les plats sont copieux et très bons. Sans oublier le sourire de la propriétaire qui est très agréable. Son histoire est inscrite au début du menu... je vous incite à la lire! Bon appétit (les pizzas sont super bonnes!)
Experience desastreuse
Bonjour. Après avoir passé 3j à kampong Cham, nous avons mangé un soir à son restaurant. Clairement les pizzas sont immondes et de congelées. Mais le pire... La location de scooter. Faites très attention. Au check up le matin, nous signalons à la loueuse que le pneu avant est lisse et que le frein arrière ne fonctionne absolument pas. 'don't worry' Nous répond Elle en prenant nos dollars ! Ce qui devait arriver arriva... Une jolie glissade au moment de repartir le midi... Plus de peur que de mal. Une très minime rayure sur le scooter et quelques égratignures. Cependant le soir en arrivant.... La loueuse pour son égratignure était prête à nous demander des centaines de dollars et n'a pas hésité à en venir aux mains se sachant en force avec tte sa famille et amis à côté.... Faisant venir la police pour nous mettre la pression. Après une longue et désastreuse discussion nous avons enfin eu gain de cause car aucune réparation n'était à déplorer et le pneu était très visiblement lisse.... Je ne recommande absolument pas. Fuyez !
Great food and a superb host
Dary offers great pizzas, local dishes and desserts at her cosy place. On top of that she also supports and puts through school local disadvantaged children. A noble cause and easy to support with food so yummy! If we could we would have taken her with us for our whole trip as she is very knowledgable about her country and the places to visit. Just ask her anything and she'll give you all the information you need.
Great restaurant supporting local business woman
Highly recommend this restaurant. Not only was the food delicious and reasonably priced (we went for pizza and breakfast), but the owner, Dary, is running the place to support her children through school and was incredibly thankful for our support by eating there. We also rented bikes for only $1.50, so we're able to cycle around Koh Pen, which was a great experience.

Good place to try the pizza
It's a good place if you want to eat something different then the usual Asian foods. Off course it's not a " European Italian style pizza " but I must say these people try do their best to make it as good they can according to their possibilities...
Surprisingly good pizza
This is a nice location, overlooking the riverside promenade, and just a short way north of the local night market around the base of the Mekong bridge. You can sit out front on the sidewalk and watch the world go by. Range - and prices - of the food and drink offerings are pretty similar to the other places on this strip, but... it's the only one that does pizza. I was wary of trying it, since Cambodian interpretations of pizza are usually pretty awful, but I was actually very pleasantly surprised here. There's not a huge range of toppings (and too many of them include olives!), and they're a bit oily; but the base is very, very good, nice and crisp. And they're pretty tasty, with a reasonable balance of cheese and tomato sauce. I'm not a pizza addict, only eat it a handful of times a year; but in sleepy Kampong Cham the options for dining out are so limited that this is an extremely welcome option to have available. The owner (French, I think) is grumpy and unpleasant; but he rarely seems to be around. The Cambodian ladies that run the place are very nice.
Agréable endroit

Cultural and relaxation trip in Kampong Cham
Without doubt Dari who is the boss at Lazy Mekong Daze cooks the best pizzas I have had in Cambodia. The Cambodian and Western food is also very tasty and the drinks whether they're cocktails, hot beverages or the fruit juices are the best in Kampong Cham. Dari is also very helpful with information regarding trips in and around Kampong Cham and what you should be charged. I also hired one of Dari's bicycle for a day for only $US 1.50 and visited Kaoh Pen Island crossing the famous bamboo bridge. A must do. It was a pleasure meeting Dari and being able to support a local female business owner. I would definitely eat at Lazy Mekong Daze on my next trip to this charming and calm city on the banks of the mighty Mekong. Carl & Maria
Nice place to rest in Kampung Cham
The staff is really nice and professional, they can help you anytime. They have good wifi connection, nice terrace to have a drink looking at the Mekong and really good pizzas, also for take away!
Patronne super sympa
Assurément une des meilleurs pizza que nous avons mangée. Nous vous conseillons celle au fromage bleu. La patronne est vraiment gentille malgré qu'elle est contuellement à la course. Entreprise familiale typique avec bon service (même de ses jeunes enfants). Location de moto à 5$ / jour avec casques. Vente de billets pour le transport vers autres villes. Helpful lady
We just stopped in for a cold drink after arriving in the afternoon. Lovely cocktails and very happy that the lady organised an English speaking tuk tuk driver who took us over the bamboo bridge, around the island and afterwards for a drive around town before showing us how to get back to our room from our chosen restaurant- Smiles. Really want to rave about tuk tuk driver who stopped at trees to teach us about them, told us the history and pointed out scenic views. Don't miss the bamboo bridge experience whatever you do.
Great Pizza
Being a pizza lover and therefore being pretty particular about it, I do not easily order pizza in them backwater places.... they are usually just results of a more or less successful array of trial and error. Not so at the Lazy Mekong Daze. While looking over the menu and as usually ignoring the pizza section in order to safe myself the disappointment I ventured in the back of the restaurant to get the wifi password. And there I see the lady owner herself rolling out fresh pizza dough and getting some lovely looking fresh pizzas together. Well, it did not much convincing to do and the pizza was ordered. I loved it, fantastic, well done, thank you! W I will be back for more and bring along anyone I meet on the road to get there.
Good Pizza
In Cambodia I was not expecting great pizza, but I was impressed with this place. If you are looking for some westernized food, I would suggest going here. The place is clean and the view is great. I ordered a small pizza, which was a decent size, but if you usually eat more than I would suggest ordering a medium (medium is about the size of a small in the U. S.). The prices are reasonable for what you get.
Good pizza
Honesty, I wasn't expecting to find any good pizza in Cambodia, key alone Kampong Cham but this establishment left me pleasantly surprised. The pizza here is actually really good. The price isn't too bad either. In addition, you get to look out on the Mekong River as you get lunch. Definitely one of the better non-Cambodian places in KC.
Lovely relaxed environment
We were welcomed warmly and fed royally while having the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful view over the Mekong. This is an ideal spot for a long lazy meal or a quick bite. Everything will be tasty and great value.

Mega liebevolles und herzliches Personal!!Sehr hilfsbereit bei allen Arten von Fragen.. Pizza war die beste während unseres Kambodscha-Trips.. Roller welcher wir gemietet haben, war in einem super Zustand, sehr günstig. Nur empfehlenswert :)

Acceuil pas sympas malgrer qu'il y a un francais. Il nous parle pas... Et les pizza ne sont pas extra pour le prix. Je ne recommanderais pas il y a beaucoup mieux.
Best Pizza in Cambodia
We shared a large house special pizza with a bottle of Italian red wine whilst watching the passing parade on a Saturday night and it was fab! Delicious pizza, even better than the FCC pizza we had enjoyed in Phnom Penh. And good wine for only $12US a bottle! Top spot and a river view!
Gutes Essen und super Besitzerin
Das Essen ist sehr gut. Pizza, Burger sowie Salate und Getränke. Das Personal ist sehr nett und man kann auch Motorbikes mieten. Die Besitzerin ist sehr hilfsbereit und erklärt sofort, wo was ist, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. WIRKLICH TOLL.
Best Pizza in Cambodia and
The title pretty much says it all. Sometimes, on travels, you just miss something like a pizza. I understand that different people like different kinds of pizza, so I will tell you what I have missed that LMD fulfilled. First, it is a real crust - thicker than others but not Pizza Company thick or mass produced. It has that crunch on the bottom and the chew above that I like and cannot find elsewhere in Asia. (Frankly, it is a little better than my HCMC favorite, New York Pizza and my PNH favorite, Brooklyn Pizza Co, so that says something. The toppings are enough and not too much, and the cheese has that good quality taste and melt-ability. It's just good pizza, and I am surprised to find it here on the riverside. Oh yeah, the Greek salad had a creamy kind of feta and with a request for more balsamic was a good compliment. Happy travels.

Casi se me caen las lágrimas puesto que la mayoría de sitios donde he camido pizza en Asia era de todo menos pizza. No es el caso de este restaurante, hemos comido una ensalada de atun y pizza pizza todo ha estado genial. La gente super amable y puedes hablar en ingles sin problemas.. la recomiendo
Bestes in kampong Cham
Es gibt nicht viele lokale in kampong Cham und die Qualität hinkt bei manchen aber bei diesem hat alles gepasst, gemütlich im freien sitzen mit blick auf den mekong und die bridge, gutes essen und trinken. Preise waren ok.

OK food, helpful staff
Lazy Mekong Daze is just that, very laidback and lazy, even the staff. Although they are helpful with local advice they are not so prompt at getting on with ordering and preparing the food, we had quite a long wait. The menu has a mix of Asian and Western choices and we tried a selection of both, however none of the food really got us excited, very average.
Nice riverside restaurant
A nice place with a good spot on the riverfront. Staff are always friendly and remembered me from previous visits 18 months ago. The food is always great although I do tend to always go for the western option. The filet mignon is excellent and my favourite. A good place to watch English football, and if you like Manchester United you are in good company! It sometimes gets quite busy in the evenings so best to arrive earlier if you are a big group. Breakfast is good too and the coffee is OK for only 50c.

Sur vendu par le Routard (l'une de nos rares déceptions). Cocktails et pizza sans goût. Beaucoup de mendiants qui passent quand on est installé sur la terrasse.
Don't go on a boat trip organised by lazy Mekong!
We paid 50 dollars for the boat trip to the weaving villages, but ended up seeing 2 women weaving. The boat man didn't know the way, asked for more money all the time and phoned with lazy Mekong restaurant. In the end he didn't want to take us further and didn't ask people in the village for help to find the way. And nobody speaks english.
Great place to hang out
Relaxed. And the wonderful Dari is a source of advice, management and general helpfulness. Can arrange boats, bikes, motorcyles. Took me to a clinic when I got a bad case of sunburn. A reason in herself to visit Kompomg Cham. Franck amiable and helpful owner.
Food's fine, travel advice even better!
We couldn't find a map of Kampong Cham and surrounds. The manager, Dary, gave us a hand drawn map, and arranged a tuk tuk for local sightseeing, and a car to get us to Phnom Phen. Our tuk tuk driver, Chhay, had good English and local knowledge. His tour of the rubber factory was great. We had a late lunch here - drinks cold and refreshing - and food was good. Excellentissime !
Le propriétaire est très sympathique, le personnel aussi, la cuisine est française et khmère et les vins sont bons, la musique excellente aussi.... location de vélos, motos et réservation de tickets de bus ou taxis.... On peut aussi louer un bateau à plusieurs pour un tour sur le Mékong....

Franck ne lésine pas sur les ingrédients et propose une sélection de pizzas plus qu' appétissantes. À tester sans réservation.

le patron, un français, est à la limite de l'amabilité.... En revanche la serveuse, Dary, est très sympathique et est d'une grande aide pour l'organisation des journées. Quant au restaurant je ne le recommande pas, les plats Khmer sont vraiment médiocres... La vue est top, directe sur le Mékong. En bref allez y pour prendre une Draft beer!
very nice for KPC
I ve been there a couple of times there, if you want some really good pork fillet with pepper sauce ut s really good so is the fish the portion are pretty big too, the staff is really helpful and try to sort out bus ticket, bike renting.. which is nice. nice view on the river, a good place to eat and have a couple of beers and the food is safe (not the case in a few place aound this area!
Fantastic food, great hosts, friendly staff
I'm a regular visitor to Kampong Cham and have tried most of the restaurants / cafes in town. Lazy Mekong Daze is one of the better ones. Unlike some, the quality of the meals never varies. Fresh food is bought from the markets every morning and Sonny regularly travels to the city to buy the hard to get items, like real mozzarella. I highly recommend the sliced chicken in cream sauce, very tasty.
Bartender rude as hell
The drinks are more expensive than nice bars at the riverside in Phnom Penh, and about half the size. When I didn't like my drink - way to strong, and nothing like a margarita I have ever had before the bartender gave me snooty comments. The woman taking our order was very friendly. Love it!
The food here is consistently fabulous! I've been a regular since November and have to that I love it. Dary, Asrai and Sunny will look after you really well - it's also a great place to book tickets, rent bikes and get advice. My recommendations - veg curry, Mekong fish fillet with lemon sauce, sweet and sour fish, any of the baguette sandwiches, any of the salads, nutella pancake. Portions are large and the drinks are very reasonable. It's one of my favourites!
A slice of life few get to see
We went on Dary's tour of the upstream island, not to be confused with the bamboo bridge island. It's only $5 for a short upriver trip past the Vietnamese and Cham floating villages to the sand island in the Mekong river. The people there benefit from this money while we learnt about their way of life, frightening flood levels, met some of the locals and interacted heaps with all the little kids. Then we enjoyed a sundowner drink as we puttered back downstream. It really was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours and to contribute a little in return. Well worth supporting!

Excellent, good value food, great atmosphere and service
The centre of Kampong Cham social life for many locals and ex-pats alike! The food is excellent but what really makes Lazy Mekong are the staff who are so helpful and friendly. A great place to hang out and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a drink or a good value meal. Home from home.
Only if you're desperately in need of a pizza.
The restaurant is nicely located but that's pretty much it: - dishes full of oil, meat and fish is sparse in your plate - not particularly good for price - unfriendly service - owner takes it's own tip on the bill... he would have got a price rounded up anyway, but it's not a way of serving - much nicer better local food nearby Basically except if you desperately need western pasta and pizza, pass your way.
Good pizza - rude and unfriendly owner
We had a delicious pizza in this restaurant (~5.50$ medium, ~8.50$ large), but pricey compared to the normal asian prices. It's located very good, you can watch the Mekong. Unfortunately we waited for ages just to order our food and then again for the pizza and again to order more drinks... and so on. The waitress was very busy and apologized a lot that we waited for that long. There weren't a lot of people that time so I was wondering why everything is taking so long. The owner was just sitting around (after he made the pizzas), just commanding the poor waitress around. When we wanted to pay I went to the bar where the owner was sitting... instead of giving me the bill, he called for the waitress... she actually was busy in the kitchen. It seems like she has to serve the customers, make drinks and work in the kitchen. In Germany we would call that an exploitation of labor! Even if the pizza was delicious we didn't go back there as we don't want to support such horrible behavior with employees.
Bad breakfast
Went for breakfast and I think the staff were sleep walking, they really did not seem with it at all and whenever they were not attempting to serve she curled up on a chair and nodded off! Our omelets took a long time to arrive and when they did were quite greasy. Not a good start to the day!
Typically for foreign tourists
Average food based on the western taste. Good cold draft beer. Friendly staff but they had no interresse for organizing us a boat trip (they advertize with that). Many, many flies!!
A perfectly pleasant place
Really enjoyed Lazy Mekong Daze - the staff were great and the owner couldn't be more friendly. He has now purchased a boat and does sunset trips on the Mekong. We enjoyed a ride up river, some beers and the chance to drift down into the sunset. Future plans include the opportunity to visit the Cham village on the other side. Good craic on the boat trip with other travellers, who we met up with again in other places. Can very much recommend the sunset boat trip. Oh! yes - the food was good too.
loved it !!
This was a very laid back cafe / restaurant with really nice food great service with a smile. The music was also excellent and with its great position overlooking the Mekong it really lived up to its name !! There was also Dary... She was the star of the show.. so friendly caring and runs the place so well.. hope to go back one day. Oh also run very nice personal trips to the nearby island at very good prices Loved my many visits to LAZY MEKONG DAZE.

Vraiment pas terrible. Accueil minimal dans un premier temps, mieux ensuite quand même. Repas bof : pizza (surgelée?) et viande un peu semelle. Propreté : laisse à désirer. Non soyons honnête réellement déçu (surtout en voyant les commentaires précédents). Il y a bien mieux dans la ville ! Nous ne recommandons pas !
Leckeres Essen, toller Service
Wir verweilten als Volunteers 8 Wochen in Kampong Cham und waren sehr froh, dass es dieses Restaurant gab. Es entwickelte sich zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant, die Karte bietet viel Abwechslung, auch die Salate konnte man unbedenklich essen - was in Cambodia nicht immer gegeben ist. Wir bevorzugten zwar das ausserordentlich gute Thai-Curry, waren aber sehr froh mal eine Pizza essen zu können. Auch das Filet in Senfsosse ist sehr lecker. Dary überraschte uns ständig mit neuen Kreationen - besonders lecker sind ihre Frühlingsrollen, die man allerdings vorbestellen sollte. Da wir 8 Wochen blieben, mussten wir nach 30 Tagen unser Visa verlängern. Hier half uns Dary: Wir gaben ihr unsere Pässe, Fotos und das Geld und sie schickte unsere Pässe mit einem ihr bekannten Busfahrer nach Phnom Penh, der sich um unsere Verlängerung kümmerte. Hat alles reibungslos geklappt, nach 3 Tagen hatten wir unsere Pässe mit Verlängerung wieder. Toller Service! Wenn es irgendein Problem gibt, lohnt es sich immer sich zuerst an Dary zu wenden - sie hat für fast alles eine Lösung. Wir haben bei unserem Feierabend-Treff viele nette Leute in diesem Restaurant kennen gelernt und hatten viel Spaß. Dary spricht sehr gut englisch. Thanks you Dary, we hope to see you next year! niet zo Cambodjaans als andere restaurants
De kaart is vooral westers En de paar oosterse gerechten niet veel bijzonders. Matige gebakken noedels. De bediening is buitenlands. Aan het accent te horen waarschijnlijk Frans. En daarvoor reis ik niet helemaal naar Cambodja.
