ZOUK NEEDS THAT ZING!
Cafe Zouk has improved its quality of cuisine lately however, they still need that ZING which is missing! The menu needs to be more diverse and the presentations more appealing! The Tom Yum soup and the Prawns Oyster sauce are still very good as are their club sandwiches! The WOW factor needs to be added!
Lunch
Zouk really needs to revamp in their ambiance and their menu. It is same as it was 5 years ago. They need to add more variety to their main course and desserts. It is very boring to have the same things for so many years.
Yummy thai food
Cafe Zouk is my fathers favourite so we visit here occasionally.. We love the thai / pan asian food especially the green chilli gravy and thai noodles and sweet and sour fish gravy.. I love their pina colada too Havent had much western but pasta alfredo scores a good number too ambience and service is good
" ZABARDAST " (GREAT!) ZOUK!!
The reinvented Cafe Zouk on Khayabane-Shujaat continues to impress with its excellent cuisine and service. We recently invited some friends for lunch and everyone left raving about the experience. The appetisers included crispy and fresh fried calamari, Greek salad and stuffed mushrooms followed by entrees of spicy black pepper chicken, charbroiled chicken shitaki mushroom, shrimps with lemon grass and chillies, Thai beef curry with basil, Thai special noodles and fillet of red snapper. The wiped clean plates spoke volumes of the yum factor! The only inconsonant note was the bread pudding - we all found it to be extra sweet and the bread extra thick. But, by and large, the Zouk experience still remains " zabadast! "
ZESTY!
The new look Zouk in Bukhari Commercial, Khayaban- e- Shujaat, Phase-6, D. H. A. is less claustrophobic, cheerful and zesty.. much like their cuisine. The only items that disappointed somewhat were the wasabi prawns (too chewy) and the Greek Fetta Cheese salad which contained whole cheese cubes instead of grated sprinkles. The Club Sandwich, Chung Mai Chicken and Prawn Chilli Dry were excellent as always! Not as crowded as it's over-hyped neighbour (Xanders') and the cuisine is definitely better!
Great decor
We visited Cafe Zouk at its new location on Saba Avenue. Loved the trendy, metallic decor... but that's all we loved. The service was slow. More important, the food was quite indifferent. We had ordered from the Thai Menu (Zouk offers Thai, Chinese, and 'Mediterranean' menus). We each got a moderately tasty mish-mash of Thai spices and tastes. Disappointing!

Cafe zouk is quite popular, most of the time it is very crowded. At times I feel they are under staffed. Most of the orders are delayed
The best restaurant in town
No doubt the best Asian and fusion food in Karachi, great service, large and sumptuous helpings, calamari, galangal chicken, spicy Tom yaung soup, nine lives, teriyaki platter and many more I can continue with names are all awesome, new location is a crowded space and needs improvement, they don't reserve on weekends after eight pm so be prepared for a wait but efficient management.
a hurried lunch
invited by some friends at the last moment decided to try it out. Food is quite spicy and given a local blend which loses its originality and taste. Very average !!
Best Thai Noddles
Must try! Service is a bit slow! Rest is Ok! In starters you can try Wasabi Prawns.... Reasonable stakes are also available here!!
My all time favourite
love there thai and chinese. a definite yes ! there soups, curries sea food, everything is good. have not tried the steaks though. the drinks are refreshing and fresh

The worst food money can buy! Old food with water mixed in the salad dressing and chicken that is old.: the salsa and chips were smelly and the soggy! The place should shut down!! Crappy food!
Speciality in continental
Cafe Zouk is one of the must go restaurants in Karachi, it started when the concept of Cafes was very new to the people here. It has this luxurious yet comfortable feel about it that you dont get in much places. its a top-noche restaurant where you can also hangout with your friends and family casually. About the food; its amazing. you wont find yourself complaining about the recipes or the taste there. the atmosphere is very calm and cosy.

Well no words, ambiance is super, great taste with fine gentry all around. Usually you will find TV stars also visiting the place
Decent place and food
I think this restaurant used to have better taste in the past as it was very famous 10 years ago. They still have good food but it was hardly good value for the money we paid. We had to wait a long time to get a table and then even longer for the food to arrive. The restaurant staff wasn't very attentive and we had to ask at least three times for a small item like a can of Sprite. I enjoyed my steak but my friend didn't like the steak he got. Overall, it's a good place but it can be much better.

ZEE-LICIOUS!
We have always loved Cafe Zouk ever since they opened their first restaurant on Khayaban e Shamsheer, DHA. They have now moved to Khayaban e Shujaat and although the ambiance is not as nice, the food is still great! We recently took our overseas guest for dinner and between the three of us, we selected items from three different international cuisines.. (Western) Club Sandwich, (Thai) Jumbo Prawns in Garlic Sauce and (Chinese) Dry Beef Chillies. All three were excellent - the ingredients were fresh and flavourful and the helpings decent. Moreover, the service is prompt and courteous. Zouk is consistently Zee-licious!
Best food always
Although not visited since many months but always it was a great pleasure & very tasty food. Ambiance is great, excellent, Chinese food so good, & fast food & fried chicken items are good too. The complimentary wontons are very delicious. Worth every penny. Although bit on expensive side. Just love this place. They never disappointed me. Often visited this place since years. Fish alaska is best for fish lovers. (I'm not a sea food lover but my husband loved it) & there are Thai food too for Thai food lovers.

Good food. Great variation in menu
Visited their SMCHS restaurant. i was directed upstairs by the staff. The first thing i noticed as i neared my table was the mixed smell of fish in a non-ventilated room, and i certainly wasn't in a mood of smelling fish that night. I have no complaints with the food though, it was served in time, with slightly lesser quantity as anticipated but tasty enough to keep our fingers licking. Drinks were chilled, and their fresh grape juice was delicious. and yeah, avoid sitting on the wall facing settee, they are uncomfortable and their cushions tend to dislocate when you rest your bottom on them.

Zouk for zauq
It was an office gathering for dinner. The ambiance is nice visually but auditory was a bit too much. The food was good. The steak awesome and the service may need a bit of improvement.
Dinner
The Restaurant at Karachi is having two outlets 1 in D. H. A and another at S. M. C. H. S. We had been to both places but in my opinion the S. M. C. H. S branch is better as they have variety of Serving so also menu is bit different at both places at S. M. C. H. S. if you wish you can order half serving. Food quality is good staff is friendly and most important is less waiting then DHA outlet.
Comfort thai food!
The thai mains make for great comfort food, 'continental' dishes are mediocre @ best. Good service, love the complimentary salsa + munchies. Appreciate the fact that the ice-cream served is movenpick and not the run of the mill chemical tasting Walls or equivalent even the best places in Karachi resort to. All in all a Karachi favourite.
Best Fusion Cuisine in Karachi
Cafe Zouk has some very loyal customers who enjoy their long standing culinary favorites. I would really suggest trying new things there and finding out your favorite thing on their menu, because most of the food is very good, and some of it is excellent.

Special thai noodles and beef chilli are to die for. Environment of the hotel is also decent and family friendly. Trained staff. Visited severall times.
Amazing food Always
Zouk is one of the best and favorite restaurants for myself and my family. We always know nothing can go wrong. The quality, taste and service is always consistent. I have been visiting Zouk since 2002 and have never had any issues. The staff is too friendly and courteous. if they ever start the loyalty program I will be the first one to get the platinum card. All guests get complementary salsa. Amazing place food and service Always
Great tasting food
The variety and taste of the food there was great. Also worth a mention was the portion sizes. Visited with a bunch of friends who are all quite healthy eaters, and we ordered accordingly. Couldnt finish our meals, and not from a lack of trying.

Good Food and Environment (Sindhi Muslim Branch)
The Steaks, The Pasta, The Salads and Everything is very good. Always remember to ask for deals. They have deals on different Debit / credit cards Your experience will be enhanced by times. We went in for a Business meeting we had fun and the food was good and the environment was helpful to discuss our business deal.

The ultimate place for Thai Cuisine
I live in Jeddah and visit karachi for vacations (as that's my hometown) and I crave for delicious food during my trip. This restaurant is a must go for me and my family, we used to visit the branch near SeaView but this time it was the newly opened Sindhi Muslim branch. The ambience and decor was as usual and so was the food. We tried their shrimp starter and it was fabulous (quantity was conservative though) and all the entrées were fantabulous. Anyone looking for delicious Thai cuisine with local flavors must visit Cafe Zouk.
Not bad
The place is very nice. The staff is courteous. I have been there thrice. The first two times, I ordered Colorado Sandwich. It was very tasty and fulfilling. The fries however were disappointing which was a huge turn off for me. They were soggy, soft and tasteless. They tasted like boiled potatoes and not fried, without salt. The their time I had their beef burger. The beef was thick but it was not cooked properly. It was raw in the middle and uneatable therefore but since it was takeaway, I couldn't return it. Overall it was a nice experience for the first two times, so I would still recommend this place.

the best restaurant on sindhi muslim area
i went to there 2nd branch at sindh muslim area it's the best restaurant in that area i tried there a greek syle fish, chicken chilli dry with garlic rice it was excellent and taste was very good and a must try.

I have just visited cafe zouk near sea view still have to try the new one at some other location of the city. The food is excellent and so is the restaurant. The staff is friendly and courteous. One of my favourite places when i want to have a nice dinner with hubby and without kids. Definitely a must try. Everything in the menu is just perfect. Have tried different dishes and always like them. And yes for lunch they have buy one entree+appetizer and get one free deal.
Too GOOD!
We were 11 people the bill was around Rs. 12.5k I had Beramese Steak in Chicken and Pina Colada. Zouk serves one of the BEST pina colda in town better then Sheraton as well Over All ZOUK IS one amazing place for Intercontinental, Chinese and Thai food. All the best!
Much improved since revamp
Initially after a few months after launch it turned to a disaster but they came back strong. They have improved the quality of food. The service was always nice.

this is the best continental food restaurant in karachi i must say. the food was very much delicious. they have extensive range and variety of mexican, italian and thai food. the location is also great near the sea.
Sea food at its best
Cafe Zouk is good for someone who loves sea food, appreciates good ambaince and wants to try new things. Cafe Zouk had it all when i went there last time. Still remmember there Chief special Fish.
wonderful food
As soon as you walk in.. its beautiful and unique.. i couldnt help admiring the interior as i ate my delicious steak. The atmosphere is relaxing and the menu is beyond satisfying.
Great Variety.... Great taste..
We've been going to Cafe Zouk ever since it opened... which was quite a few years ago when not many restaurants were around.... it used to be our favourite restaurant and still is one of the better ones in the city.... the building is quite interesting from the outisde and has Gaudi touch in the railings in the interiors with some very interesting light fixtures..... overall good decor..... moving on to the food... it is exceptional... something that would compel you to come back over and over again.... If you're here... do try the beef chilli dry and the philly cheese steak sandwich! good food and great service is the reason why zouk is still the choice of many even though a lot of other restaurants have opened up in the vicinity.... Zouk is very close to Karachi beach and Dolmen Mall so you can always eat here and then hit the mall or take a stroll down the beach.
One of the best in karachi!
The food is very good. The staff is good. Taste is very desirable. Will definitely visit again and again. The prices are probably bit on a higher side for Pakistani standards but compensates for it by providing A class food and a wide variety of choices all of them cooked to nearest perfection in terms of taste and texture.

Sophisticated and pretty
The food is simply amazing. Its a pretty peaceful and sophisticated environment, perfect for family and formal dinners. Visually attractive as well especially the small bar in the waiting area.
Great Food, Great Ambiance and good prices
Cafe Zouk is one of my favorite places to hang out with friends, family and business associates. The ambiance is modern and practical with a flair of eclectic designed interiors. You can try the continental, Thai, Chinese cuisine here but my favorites are Thai and Continental variety especially the Chicken with Mushroom sauce, Chicken Teriyaki sauce, Chicken with black pepper and so on. The Desserts are something to die for but those of you who are on the weight watch, I suggest share one between two of you.
good food, average ambiance
The food was good. I ordered a pepper steak and it was quite tasty. The problem with this restaurant and quite a lot of pakistani restaurants is that tables are very close to each other and the ambiance gets very noisy. I took a table in the non smoking area and found myself surrounded with families and shouting kids. Ruined the ambiance quite a bit.. ! Service is not so good. Had to explain quite a few times what we wanted. In the end, I had to re order since french fries were not given, and a baked potatoe was given instead. Same goes for my friend, not what she had ordered.
