COVID - Break
This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom B+B is perfect for family and friends of the same group. During our stay we were lucky to be the only ones booked and really enjoyed our stay, great location and lovely hosts. The island has much to offer which kept us busy but in a relaxing way.
Great place to stay
A group of 6 of us stayed for 3 nights. Excellent location, clean, comfortable and great breakfast. Thanks Nicole and Joe for the great stay! Joe gave us lots of information on things to do on the Island. This B & B had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend anyone looking to stay on Salt Spring stay at the Curious Crow!
Great location to explore Salt Spring Isl
Phenomenal B+B! Quiet, peaceful location on Salt Spring Island + ideally located to explore the island, St. Mary's Lake, hiking trails, beaches. Only a 7 min. drive to Ganges for all your grocery shopping needs + art galleries. Spacious common 'shared area', just off of rooms, with large screen TV, tea, coffee can be all yours if no other B+B visitors happen to be there! Personable, warm hosts will tend to all your needs to ensure you've a relaxing stay.
Perfectly Located and Cozy
My husband and I spent a night with Nikki and Joe in their home with a three bedroom two bathroom addition just for visitors. The bed rooms are small but perfectly appointed and charming and all had access to a sitting area with coffee service and an outside deck. We had a room with two single beds which were very comfortable and chose it to give more space to the other guests who had an infant. On another trip would ask for the queen size bedroom. Our hosts gave us great advice about where to eat dinner and the next morning served an excellent breakfast. We'd certainly return on a future adventure on beautiful Salt Spring Island.
Home Away From Home
Stay with Nikki and Joe in this beautifully decorated, sparkling clean bed and breakfast on Salt Spring Island. I especially liked sitting on the deck in the evening overlooking the vegetable and and flower garden while the hummingbirds buzzed around their feeder. Bring your car or explore the island by bicycle or maybe try the island bus. Fun places to shop and eat in town.
Such an amazing stay!
We had such an amazing stay with Nikki and Joe. They were so friendly that we immediately felt like family, and they provided us with great information about what to do and where to eat on the island. The breakfasts were so delicious, and they were even able to accommodate for our 10 month old daughter. Our room was beautiful and big enough to fit our playpen with room to spare. We definitely hope to return to Curious Crow for another stay with Nikki and Joe.
Exceptional breakfast and accomodations for a budget price
We found Nikki and Joe to be very helpful and accommodating of any extra needs we had (including use of space in their deep freeze). Their place is newly renovated, very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The common area with the fridge, coffee and beverage bar is a bonus for evenings you wish to relax on the private deck. The breakfast meals provided were chef like quality and plentiful portions. They are knowledgeable about the island and sincerely excited to provide the best service to their guests. Their home is quite central to all you would want to see on the island. I would highly recommend a stay with Nikki and Joe.
Comfortable, Friendly and Clean
We had a great stay for one night in August. We felt at home straight away as our friendly hosts, Nikki and Joe, showed us around. We were in the spacious queen room, with a view right out into the garden. We could even see hummingbirds flying right up to the feeders on the deck. The bathroom and kitchen were clean, the shower was fantastic and the whole place was peaceful. So much so that on our way back to the B & B that evening we spotted a deer watching us from only 20 yards away. The common room gave us a chance to unwind with a cup of tea and a film before we went to bed. In the morning, we were greeted in the kitchen with Nikki's spectacular apple pancakes (probably the culinary highlight of our time in Canada) and a cup of coffee. After chatting with Nikki and Joe about the story of the Curious Crow over breakfast, we were ready to head out and begin our adventure on Salt Spring island.
