About Bell Mountain Motel
Bell Mountain Motel is situated in a quiet rural setting yet it is only one block off the highway. All rooms are ground level and non smoking. We have pet rooms and there is two acres for them to stretch their legs. Double and single rooms are available and most rooms have full kitchenettes. WiFi and brand new TV's with 150+ satellite channels are in each room. Kitchens have microwaves, coffee makers, fridge, cook tops and dishes and cutlery. There is lots of free parking and a large turn around at the end for trucks hauling trailers. Seasonal hot tub, horse shoe pit, BBQ and fire pit (subject to firebans) available for our guests to enjoy. We have a few rooms which are wheel chair accessible.

Peaceful
Amazing views. Great staff. Quiet and peaceful spot. Very pet friendly. Good price. Walking distance to restaurants. We requested one of the rooms that hadn't been updated because it was on the end and we were very happy. Small kitchen and BBQ a nice plus. Will be back. Easy parking for trailers. Fire pit was well enjoyed. Wild flowers all over. It's not the Fairmont, but you're not paying $700 a night. Only negative I was sad the hot tub was closed.
Travelling through
From the reviews for the Bell Mountain Motel, I expected the accommodation to be more modern. The room, beds and the amenities were very outdated. The price for the room was very reasonable. I guess you get what you pay for. I just expected more because of the very good reviews that this motel received.
awesome stay
great people. super amenities in the motel. large room with well appointed kitchenette. bathroom was large. all toiletries provided. beautiful views and easy to find. the owner was most helpful (we had a medium-sized dog), and we were accommodated. we would most definitely stay there again.... I am looking forward to my next trip!!
Reservation means nothing
I was disappointed to arrive and find out they gave the room I reserved to someone who arrived a day early. This makes no sense as I've stayed there many times before. Since the only explanation was " sorry " I can only warn travellers there reservation policy is not to be trusted.
A nice place to stay
The lady owner of the motel was very friendly. Our room was large and had lots of space to put our belongings. There were a few things that would have made our stay nicer. There was no digital clock by the bed; bathroom was small and cramped and the one bed kept moving on the wooden base. The room hopefully will be modernized at some later date. The price was good, the unit clean and we even got to see a deer on the lawn. I would stay again and encourage people to try this quiet motel.
Hidden Gem
What a quaint lovely motel. Owners are absolutely lovely. Location is tucked away with lovely views of the mountains. Clean rooms with a kitchenette and they are pet friendly. Quiet and peaceful. Best sleep that I've had in awhile.
Geeignet für einen Kurzaufenthalt
McBride liegt etwas abseits der Touristenzentren, ist aber geeignet um Ausflüge zu machen: z. B zum Mount Robson und zum Ancient Forest. Das Motel ist einfach. Die neue Besitzerin ist sehr hilfsbereit und geht auf Wünsche ein.
A great surprise!
The is the first time I have written a 5* review for a roadside motel. This place is immaculate and very well maintained by a husband and wife team. You will be greeted by " Belle " the greeter cat. She doesn't have a tail so I would have named her Bob... but what the heck. They will do your laundry for a small fee, folded and brought to your door. This is a 5* motel.
Hidden Gem
Its hard to see the Bell from the main road but we swing past and I liked the ground floor rooms, the quaint outside and it didn't look like just another box. The owner was super friendly and the price was good. The room was surprisingly large w 2 queens, fridge, microwave, dish cleaning supplies, tv and nicely supplied bathroom. I didn't want to go to yet another generic box hotel and super glad to take a chance on a smaller, more personal place. I will definately stay here again.
A great family owned motel
Was on a motorcycle trip and chose this hotel based on the reviews on this site. Was not disappointed. The owners were extremely friendly and gave us extra towels right at check in. The room was extremely spacious and we had a kitchenette. Even though we didn't use the kitchen, it was well stocked. We had a newly renovated bathroom and the pressure in the shower was perfect. You can certainly see that the owners take pride in this property. Being a block off the highway, all of the windows face the mountain / river side, so it's extremely quite. Will definitely support these small business owners next time we stay in McBride. We also got greeted by Belle the cat when we arrived. Great story about Belle, but you need to stay to find out the whole story. I won't give it way.
Great!
Great room, TV, shower, coffee- everything you want in a small motel. My only regret is that I am only here for the one night! I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends! Pub and restaurant within walking distance too. Great small kitchen with fridge, range, microwave, plates, cutlery etc.
Quiet and pet friendly
This motel was a little hard to find but glad we did a very plesant surprise quiet no hiway noise, large room, clean, kitchenette, fantastic, hot tub but it was down for the season, fire pit, barbaques, pet friendly Friendly staff
