Excellent hotel in TABA
The hotel is very nice, well maintained, clean and comfortable. It has a large seashore. Breakfast and diner are with extremely large selection, all fresh and good quality. The staff of the hotel made everything for us to have a nice vacation. The General Manager of the hotel, Mr. Muched Goneid is very nice and was interested to know personally if we enjoy our stay. A manager in the dining room, Khaled, made sure that we will have the food that we were looking for, the maintenance person Muhamad returned after one hour to our room to make sure that what he fixed is still OK, the manager of Safety and Health of the hotel took me with his golf-car to the reception and waited for me to take me back, although I told him that I can walk back - all staff members are very nice and friendly. We stayed in a bungalow that was nice and spacious, clean and well equipped, with sea-view and one-minute walk to the beach.
Vraiment vacances! Fête de Nouvel An magnifique
C'est la deuxième fois que nous passons nos vacances dans l'hôtel. Cette fois -ci nous sommes restés 9 nuits et je regrette que le temps s'est envolé si vite et on doit rentrer. Nous avons choisi la formule chambre + petit déjeuner inclus et nous avons essayé pour le dîner, les restaurants qui sont dans les environs. De toute manière ce n'est pas trop loin. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Ahmed. Notre chambre était orienté côté montagne. Ce côté est plus calme et je crois que beaucoup plus agréable en été quand il fait chaud. Pendant le mois de décembre la chambre est tout le temps à l'ombre. Nous avons demandé de changer pour avoir un peu de soleil et c'était très vite accepté. Merci à tous. Les chambres sont propres mais le mobilier un peu vieillot. La literie est bonne et la propreté compense ce petit détail. Je tiens à remarquer la bonne qualité des produits cosmétiques que l'hôtel propose. Leur gamme est vraiment au top et même les produits de nettoyage sont choisi avec soin. Pour le réveillon du Nouvel An : je dois féliciter l'organisateur pour tout l'effort déployé. Une énorme tente mise à la disposition pour tous les clients qui étaient gracieusement invités, tout bien préparé à l'intérieur et certains boissons offerts. Plusieurs animations, danse, DJ et une chanteuse de musique arabe accompagnée par un petit groupe ont délicieusement enchanté le public. Je me suis bien amusée et je dois reconnaître que le mélange de nationalités, cultures et goûts ont donné à la soirée un éclat tout particulier. Chacun a trouvé son compte. Je dois aussi remarquer le travail qui a été accompli: vite, discret et bien. Pour le buffet du Nouvel An: félicitations aux chefs qui ont préparé : délicieux. En plus il ya avait pour tous les goûts, assez et très bien présenté. Animations: vous avez le choix et il ya plein d'animateurs qui vous proposent séances de yoga, sports divers et autres activités. Nous avons choisi une promenade en bateaux au château Salah el Din où nous avons observé en faisant du scouba diving un récif coralien très bien conservé. 20 euros pour 2 h. Je vous recommande. Pour diving et activités aquatiques je vous recommande SAMIR qui vous donnera toutes les informations. Vraiment très efficace et de bon conseils. Je le remercie pour sa pacience. Dans l'hôtel nous avons aussi trouvé des informations pour visiter le monastère Saint Catherine. Merci Chérif. Il faut savoir que pour aller plus loin que 1km par rapport à la frontière israélienne il faut payer environ 10 euros. Pour conclure, je recommande l'hôtel, la gentillesse du personnel est exceptionnelle. Tout est pensé pour que vos vacances soient parfaites. La sécurité est au top, le wi-fi fonctionne assez bien. Pour les courts séjours je crois que la formule all inclusive est le meilleur choix. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable. Les inconvénients dans l'hôtel ne sont pas dûs au personnel mais aux clients qui ne sont pas toujours très bien éduqués. Merci à tous et à bientôt.
Good value for money
Very good facilities, room, pool area and beach very nice and clean, the only down thing is the food that not good not inviting and not taste good even the sea food not clean and taste bad. But still if you drink alot its better to take the all inclusive and to get how many drinks you want. The allinclusive not include the ice cream.

חופשה נפלאה! אוכל בשפע ומגוון, חדרים גדולים ומרווחים, צוות אדיב יעיל ונחמד. היינו זוג עם 2 מתבגרות ולא היה משעמם לרגע! חוף מהמם ונקי, בריכות שחיה וגם ספורט ימי. ניתן לצאת ליום שייט לאי האלמוגים והפיורד בתוספת תשלום (שווה לכל נפש) בקיצור במרחק נגיעה יש לנו את כל מה שנמצא ביוון... המינוס היחידי זה המעבר גבול שמעכב את ההגעה לחופשה...
Relaxing
Very awsowem service and great personality of all workers there, beautiful place like it's a piece of heaven, the food is so good, very interesting activities like dance shows and a lot of awsowem dancing activities for kids
po prostu bajka
pomimo moich dużych możliwości nie byłem w stanie codziennie spróbować wszystkich dań, jednak dzielnie próbowałem, po 4 dniach się poddałem i przeszedłem na zwykły tryb posiłków :-). obsługa bez zarzutu. Otrzymałem od Hotelu pokój z wspaniałym widokiem na basen i morze - miałem wykupioną najtańszą wersję pokoju - dziękuję. Pokój i widok z balkonu dostarczył mi wiele miłych chwil. Przekraczając granicę Izrael-Egipt dzieci naliczyły 11 kontroli. w sumie trwało to 43 minuty i obyło się bez stresu. dodatkowo hotel prześwietlał nasze bagaże :-) ale raczej tak dla okazania dbałości. W hotelu można wypocząć, nacieszyć się ciszą, zająć się pływaniem czy nurkowaniem, jest też wiele animacji i profesjonalne SPA.

فندق جميل وكبير وواسع ونظيف جدا وتعامل موظفين رائع من الاستقبال وموظفين الشاطئ هدوء واستجمام البرك نظيفه وفريق انيمشن ممتاز نوع الاكل جيد ولكن بحاجه الى تنويع اكثر الشط يحتاج المزيد من الالعاب المائيه خلال فتره الشتاء
Príjemná letná dovolenka na prelome rokov
Hotel je situovaný hneď na hraniciach, asi 200 metrov od poslednej kontroly. Hotelový personál je veľmi milý a ochotný splniť každú požiadavku. Izby čisté a priestranné, s každodenným servisom. Hotel disponuje jedným vnútorným bazénom a niekoľkými vonkajšími, zároveň súčasťou areálu je prístup na pieskovú pláž s azúrovo priehľadnou vodou, pri troche šťastia aj s rybičkami. Počas nášho pobytu (31.12. - 4.1.) bola pripravená veľkolepá novoročná show, animátori sa starali o program aj mimo sezóny každý deň na pláži a večer v priestoroch hotela. Teplota vzduchu bola okolo 25 °C cez deň, teplota mora okolo 22 °C, teplota vonkajšieho bazéna 17 °C, teplota vnútorného 28°C. Stravovacie možnosti sa najviac oplatia pri All Inclusive, a prináša bohaté možnosti celodenného stravovania. Lokálne alkodrinky sú súčasťou AI a podávajú sa od 11:00 do 23:00. Hoteloví hostia boli tvorení širokým spektrom národností - Arabi + okolité moslimské krajiny, Židia, Slováci, Češi, Nemci, Rusi... Pri vstupe do krajiny (Leteli sme do Ejlatu (Izrael), a z Ejlatu busom do Taby, nás sprevádzali bezpečnostné kontroly na každom rohu, ale ako turista tam človek problém nemá. Vrámci hotelového areálu je to bez obmedzení. Pri prílete je dobré mať so sebou vytlačené potvrdenie o rezervácii hotela, potom po overení neplatíte daň z ubytovania v Tabe.

Excellent Hotel and Staff
We are a family of four (two children 9 and 11) and got a family room over Christmas. It was a little sad seeing the hotel so empty and so few foreign tourists but that meant we had the place to ourselves and we had an absolute ball. The staff bent over backwards to help us with Youssef, Mansour and El Nagar being outstanding. There is a ton of things to do here and I would return at the drop of a hat. The only reason for the dropping of one star is due to the noise of the other, very inconsiderate, guests who let their kids run riot at all hours. Maybe a staff member could walk the corridors at night to help keep the noise down. But that was a small thing overall
Best choice
Excellent choice if you spend your holiday at Gulf of Aqaba. Very nice and esthetic hotel next to the border with easy and free acces. Very friendly and helpful staff, maximum safety. Few guests but absoltelly full service in every area. Tastful and wide variety at breakfast. Very pleasant and spacious rooms.
Great stay
Great place. Very cheap stay. Breakfast is great. Dinner much less. Great sea and pools. Didn't use the spa. Too expensive. Over all very recommended as a place to stay next to israel. Will be back for sure.

Sunny days
Nice place for sunny relaxation in the middle of winter. Territory of the hotel is like a large park with lawns, palm pools and a direct exit to the sea. The hotel rooms are spacious and have large balconies with sea view. The rooms are a little outdated, but are kept in very good condition and clean. Great restaurants on site, as well as it 's easy to get to restaurants, located next to the hotel.

הבית מלון מאוד יפה חלק שאחראי על הילדים מאוד יפה ומעסיק את הילדים אני מאוד אהבתי. נהניתי אני והמשפחה שלי כמעט מכל התחנות שבבית המלון. גם החלק האחראי על הטיפולים מאוד מקוצעיים ובעלי נסיון שנתנו לנו שירות וגם יחס מדהים
Pleasant stay
Room was large, with large balcony and nice sea view. Old furniture, but still ok. Little bit noisy, as there are door to next room to be openede for famyily stay and you hear tv in next room. Nice garden, beach ist not the best, swimming shoes required, sandy with dessert rocks. In front of the Taba Hilton are 3-4 small coral bariers with fishes for snorkeling. Breakfast was quite ok at the end, but the same every day and oriented more on vegetarians. Pancakes, vegetables, fruits, falafel, joghurt,.. at least there was beef bacon, otherwise no meat at all. Sauna, jakuzzi was for for a 10$ an hour, it could be included. Good equipped gym - no fee. Solid 4 stars, it's not 5. I can recommend, just in winter time there is nowhere to go and nothing to do, just to swim, go into the garden, as you are in 1 km coridor between borders of Izrael and Egypt. You should be aware of it.
Best hotel I ever seen
Very good hotel and working staff. Behavior of hotel staff and service of hotel is very good. You can feel comfortable and safe. Food quality and service is very good. Location and rooms are very good.
Taba stay review
I enjoyed every minute of my stay and will definitely visit again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I stayed at a Movenpick resort in Cairo and I cannot fault them as well. Overall Movenpick resorts are excellent
QUE DEMANDER DE PLUS !
Le Möwenpick Resort de Taba n'est pas un véritable palace, malgré ses 5 étoiles, mais le rapport qualité / prix y est tout simplement imbattable : 3 jours en All Inclusive à 3 adultes pour 400 € - ce que nous aurions payé pour une seule nuit à Eilat dans un hôtel équivalent ! Il est à cet égard incompréhensible que les touristes ne se donnent pas la peine de franchir les deux kilomètres qui séparent Eilat de Taba et profiter de prestations tellement plus avantageuses. L'argument sécuritaire est totalement fallacieux : Taba est un endroit sûr où vous pourrez séjourner en toute quiétude. Mais l'intox politique reste forte, et il est triste de voir cette région délaissée par les touristes alors que tout est fait pour que vous vous sentiez bienvenus et bien traités.. L'accès est en effet on ne peut plus aisé : la navette de l'aéroport Ovda vous dépose devant la frontière israélo-égyptienne. Les formalités sont particulièrement rapides et vous serez de l'autre côté en 5 minutes (attention toutefois au retour : vous pourrez comme nous avoir la surprise d'un bus de touristes africains juste avant vous, qui risque de vous retarder quelque peu - surtout si vous avez un vol à prendre..). L'hôtel n'est qu'à 600 m, et si vous êtes fatigués du voyage vous pourrez être récupérés en voiturette devant la frontière. Vous remarquerez immédiatement la propreté impeccable de toutes les parties communes, que ce soit dans les bâtiments ou à l'extérieur : ce n'est pas un hasard si la chaîne Möwenpick est suisse à l'origine ! L'impression qui domine est le sentiment d'espace et de place largement disponible, que ce soit autour des piscines ou sur la plage. Les chambres sont vastes et claires (sans grande originalité toutefois) et la salle de bain sans reproches - mais on y passe peu de temps en définitive ! La partie restauration, sans être exceptionnelle, est tout à fait acceptable. Si le choix des plats proposés pourrait être un peu plus abondant (desserts en particulier), tous sont très frais et goûteux. Mention passable par contre pour les bars en ce qui concerne les cocktails - seul celui du lobby vous en proposera de bien faits. Le sauna et les jacuzzis sont payants, mais la salle fitness, très bien équipée, est gratuite. Une mention particulière pour le personnel : lors de notre séjour, il était véritablement aux petits soins et ne savait que nous proposer pour nous faire plaisir. Cette gentillesse fait vite oublier les petites erreurs de service et contribue de façon importante au plaisir d'un séjour. REVENEZ A TABA : VOUS Y SEREZ PARTICULIEREMENT BIEN REÇUS ! VOUS CONTRIBUEREZ D'AUTRE PART AU MAINTIEN DE LA SITUATION ECONOMIQUE LOCALE - LA MEILLEURE ARME POUR LUTTER CONTRE LES EXTREMISMES EN TOUS GENRES !
Хороший отель в трудные времена
Мы очень любим Египет и ездили по два раза в год до 2013 года. Вернулись в 2017 году - аэропорт Табы закрыт, отели пытаются выжить, несмотря на небольшое количество туристов, отсюда понятная экономия (даже во все включено нет, например, мини-бара, все тематические рестораны платные, фирменное мороженое платное, буфет достаточно ограничен и т. п.). В этот раз мы прилетели в близлежащий израильский аэропорт, т. н. лоу кост, города Овда. Трансфер возможен на шатле или рейсовом автобусе, около часа. Хочется поблагодарить персонал отеля за то, что несмотря на трудные времена сотрудники пытаются сделать все возможное, чтобы ваш отпуск был приятным. Плюсы отеля : 1, Прекрасная ухоженная территория, места хватит всем. Огромный пляж, неплохой спуск в воду - и просто плавающим и нырятелям есть на что посмотреть, хотя кораллы напротив Штайнбергера (в сторону Израиля) намного интереснее, но служащие отеля не хотят пускать вас на свою территорию. 2, Хорошая инфраструктура - большие бассейны, закрытый бассейн, неплохое СПА, качественный спортзал. 3, Профессиональный персонал 4, Дневные экскурсии в Иерусалим, на Мертвое море, Петру. 5, Цены ! Отель достаточно высокого класса со " все включено " по цене двух звезд без завтрака в Эйлате. Да и места побольше и в самом отеле и на пляже. Минусы отеля : 1, Как я уже отметила выше, в связи с экономией маленькие плюсики даже во " все включено " требуют дополнительной платы - приличные коктейли, свежевыжатый сок, мороженое, сауна и т. п. 2, К сожалению буфет самообслуживания довольно скудный, был хороший в пятницу, прекрасные местные блюда и десерты, очень вкусно, хотелось бы и в субботу и в воскресенье тематическую гастрономию. 3, Так как пойти около отеля совершенно некуда и анимация довольно скудная, может быть скучновато. Мало телевизионных программ. Берите книги, игры и т. п. Развлекать себя нужно самостоятельно. Но такой отдых, кстати, нравится многим.
Awesome Resort for a weekend getaway!
Awesome room, mouthwatering and variety of food available at Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Great location of the Hotel property overlooking the Red Sa and also some small hills. Also loved swimming in the pools and the Red Sea! Overall fantastic for a weekend getaway!
best choice nearby the border
5mins from the border. Transfer ok by Bus 282 from ovda Airport, Israel. Nice property, well maintained. Very good service. Not that much to do around. Food ok without highlights. Reef / diving not comparable to other Egyptian regions
perfect stay
Perfect stay, everything was good! very close- walking distance to Israel Taba border, dont have to pay border crossing fee if you stay this hotel. Receptions guys were very helpfull even for very late night check-in, the room was just perfect overlooking direct pool and sea view. Food was great, recommend!!
Excellent hotel
My stay in Movenpick Resort Taba hotel was amazing - great, helpful and still riant people, tasty meal, nice rooms, beautiful view, private beach. If I came back I would stay in this hotel again for sure.
It was amazing
I loved it the hotel was so nice so clean beautiful view close to the beach. Clean very nice welcoming on the arrival. The rooms are so nice I loved the fast that there were no carpets on the floor usually in other hotels they're filthy so is better not to have them.
Good quality for the price
The only drawback is not enough life because of a few guests besides however I definitely recommend a beautiful place and good comfort at a good price. A great choice for people who want to relax from the hustle and bustle of cities, pubs, clubs, discos etc. We were allocated a nice room with a view of the sea. The room has a large, comfortable bed, TV, safe in the closet.. besides an elegant bathroom, a large balcony. Food without complaint - tasty.

We loved it - tranquill with lovely service
My Mom and I came her for 2 nights in early December. The temperature was still above 20 so a very nice and comfortable weather. Mom was swimming in tje sea and I was in the heated pool. There is also a large outdoor pool which offers a nice relax. The hotel is 2 minutes walk after the last border security. Because of the hotel's location we didn't pay the egyptian entry visa and Israel will refund us for the exit visa. The staff is very pleasant. I would return here again.
Nice hotel with a great view and very good snorkling
Very nice hotel with outstanding view. The snorkling and beach is great. The breakfast could be better, but there is other good restaurants around hotel. If money is no issue for you than stay here-2 nights far enough. For families and people with low budget I recommend to go 15km further to Taba Heights. My stay at Movenpick in Taba Egypt was fantastic staff was courteous and friendly. Rooms were very clean with a great view. Breakfast buffet was very good. Pools and beach was great. I can not fault anything with Movenpick in Taba. Everything was perfect. I highly recomend staying at the beautiful resort.
Satisfied with Movenpick Resort Taba
Staff is very nice and helped us to make our son's Filip first birthday memorable. Hotel is on big area, with clean beaches. Good food and every night animation programm. In november not overcrowded, sunny weather, but mosquitos were little bit annoying. I can recomend to stay here in Movenpick.

Relaxing
Very friendly and relaxing hotel, location is great. The room could little bit cleaner. Location is super, close to the border of Taba, nice to combine if you are visiting Israel. Very friendly and helpfull staff, especially front desk.

The hotel was perfect according the food and the time of the eating, the room was clean also the swimming pool with beach. We have a lot of happy time here. The weather here was very good hope to come here again

The second time in Taba: I felt most welcome, enjoyed your restaurant, my room, and the friendly service. I simply couldn't imagine a better place to relax. Your staff is friendly and professional. The food is great for those who like it with an Arabic touch, plenty of healthy things: fruit, salad. Breathtaking room with a large terrace!
Sentirsi a casa nella meraviglia del Mar Rosso
Abbiamo scelto questo fantastico luogo dopo aver trascorso due giorni a Petra (Giordania) con l'obiettivo di goderci un meritato relax. Dobbiamo riconoscere che è stato, in assoluto, il resort dove abbiamo lasciato un pezzo del nostro cuore. E ne abbiamo girati un bel pò di posti, in giro per il mondo. Iniziamo col dire che il Movenpick è raggiungibile a piedi dal confine di Eilat / Taba... massimo 10 minuti ma se si va a passo di lumaca. Quando si arriva il colpo d'occhio è magnifico: incastrato tra le prime alture del Sinai, davanti al golfo di Aqaba... bellissimo! Ci hanno dato una camera vista mare, ampia e pulitissima, dotata di letto king comodissimo. Il parco antistante la lunghissima spiaggia è curato e di un verde splendente, con incastrata la grande piscina (con bar all'interno fighissimo). Lettini comodi e silenzio interrotto solo dal brusio della musica in sottofondo (al bar) e da animatori molto riservati (assolutamente non insistenti) che invitano a giocare a beach volley. Al check-in avevamo una prenotazione in modalità b & b. Accolti con un drink di benvenuto abbiamo fatto l'upgrade all'opzione hard all inclusive che comprende colazione, pranzo, cena, snack e ogni tipo di drink, alcolico e analcolico. Il cibo è assortito e di qualità, sia alla colazione che ai pasti principali. La mia compagna è allergica ad una spezia (cumino) e il sig. Tamer e tutto il suo staff hanno mostrato una sensibilità che ci ha lasciato a bocca aperta per come ci hanno trattato con i guanti bianchi. Sono stati gentili e ospitali, hanno ascoltato le nostre esigenze e hanno mostrato una disponibiltà unica. Ancora vogliamo cogliere l'occasione per dire loro un grande GRAZIE! Abbiamo acquistato un pacchetto per la Spa, vasca idromassaggio davvero piacevole e anche qui staff superlativo. Abbiamo lasciato il nostro cuore per tutto lo staff di questo resort: gentilezza, simpatia e ospitalità... w il popolo egiziano! Vorremmo tornare soprattutto per loro, lo consigliamo a tutti quelli che vogliono rilassarsi in un posto da favola... e non abbiate paura di andare in questi posti magnifici per il timore di attentati... è tutto iper tranquillo e controllato! Grazie a tutti, vi porteremo sempre nel cuore!

Beautiful resort
Perfect location. Beautiful beaches, awesome view of Israel, Jordan and Egypt, quiet and peaceful. Dinner buffet has a wide variety and delicious. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Wifi connection superb. If I ever return, will definitely stay here again.

Short vacation
Csodálatos helyszín, kedves személyzet, tágas szobák, a félpanzióval is elégedettek voltunk. A szoba tisztasága hagy némi kivetnivalót, ha már 5 csillagos a hotel. Ár érték arányban teljesen megfelelő.

Overall review is very good, as a note, there is a lot of mosquitoes inside and outside room, this did not allow good sleep, also did not allow comfortable stay, especially during entertainment parties in the garden.

فندق جيد
الغرف جيده بمستوى النظافه الفندق لكن مشكله واحده موجوده هي مشكلة الاكل ليس هناك تنوع كبير بنوعية الاكل ولا توجد جوده للاكل لكن الغرف جيده جدا مريحه ونظيفه والخدمه ايضا جيده. كذالك يوجد في ساعات الليل فعاليات تسليه للاولاد الصغار
Perfect vacation
5-star hotel located 1000 meters from the border crossing with Israel. Spacious rooms, some with sea views and some with mountains view. Breakfast and dinner are rich and tasty. The hotel is built on a large area and a large outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzie and is another indoor pool with Jacuzzis. The beach is great, clean and tidy. The hotel staff are courteous, excellent service
Simply Amazing!!
We were hesitate in booking this hotel after reading some reviews about the rooms and the food.. To be honest it was simply amazing, the room was clean and big, food was very nice and you had a very large variety on all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks).. The staff are very friendly all the way from the check-in desk to the house keeping, the gift shop (s) is nice and the gentleman that works their is very nice and helpful (Adam). Pool bar is nice (Hatem) very friendly and always smiling, the pool is clear and entertainment was nice (water handball), music around the pool was nice (western / middle eastern) Cabana bar (that is what we called it), has a pool and air hocky table and very nice staff memebers. Kids club is nice, our children enjoyed that one on one interaction by the staff.. it's well equiped with entertainment for all ages of children. Evening entertainment there is 2 shows, one for children where they do a sing along and dancing.. after that their is a TANOURA (Dress) show and belly dancing for the adults, which we were amazinged with. Our room had a sea / pool view balcony where we could enjoy the view and sound of the music from the lebanese restaurant.. Which at midnight closes down and all you hear is the sound of the water and the view fo the distant light of Jordan and Saudi. All in All we loved the place and for sure when we go back to Taba we will stay in this hotel. Thank you to all staff memeber for a memorable 4 days! Thank you

A clean beach with an amazing reef! Endless gardens and excellent staff service
We were 3 days late August and the hotel is great. The reception is very nice. There is a beach with a riff and rare fish for those who like a snorkel. On the first night, they brought us a room under the night shows so we could not sleep from the noise all night. In the morning I got to the receptionist, Sherif Fahmy, and he immediately apologized and took us to a room far away from the noise. He helped us a lot. The only problem is the music in the pool at all hours of the day that violates the peace of the desert.

Мы в полном восторге от отеля и отдыха! Большая ухоженная территория, просторный чистый отель, разнообразная и вкусная кухня. Сервис также на высоте. В основном отдыхают арабы и израильтяне. Пляж практически всегда пустой, море чистое и тёплое. На границе с Хилтоном есть небольшие рифы. Рыбки приплывают сами, как только заходишь в воду. Есть два больших бассейна с барами и ещё 2 детских. Кухня каждый день приятно удивляет. Всегда есть говядина, курица и рыба. На удивление интересная программа анимации и приглашенных артистов.

Спасибо всему коллективу гостиницы за внимание и хорошее обслуживание. Хочу отметить, что многие работники понимают и разговаривают на русском языке. Начну с того, что наша семья не разбалавана 5ти звездочными отелями, но в совокупности всех параметров он тянет с трудом на 4 звездочки. Плюсы: 1. Вежливый и приветливый персонал 2. Огромная и красивая территория 3. Замечательный пляж 4. Смарт тв в номере с бесплатным wifi Минусы: 1. Уборка номера минимальная (растирание грязной тряпкой полов, за неделю ни разу не было заменено пастельное белье, грязные полотенца всю неделю аккуратно складывались и не менялись, мусор от прежних постояльцев переодически находился в разных углах, пыль не протиралась на мебеле) 2. Питание ниже плинтуса, без вкуса, часто недоваренная и недожаренная, что может привести к печальным последствиям. Салатов вроде много, но большенство даже не тронутые (для кого их готовили?) 3. Вечные долгие очереди за едой иногда по мин 30. Палестинцы наберали полные подносы как будто в последний раз. Шум в столовой, как будто находишься в актовом зале. 4. Бассейны вечно переполнены орущими во всю глотку детьми. 5. Из-за спада русскоговорящих туристов анимация работала по минимуму и не очень интересно. 6. Некоторые вещи на территории отеля не чинились, скорее всего из-за опять же из-за спада туризма из европы. Китайский ресторан в отеле заброшен и разбит внутри полностью, второй ресторан морепродуктов пустовал на протяжении всего нашего пребывания.

ذهبت مع أسرتي إلى الفندق في أجازة قصيرة في الفترة من 17-20 / 3 / 2016, الغرفة واسعة, نظيفة جدا مجهزة بأثاث حديث و فرش جديد و ذات إطلالة ساحرة, حمام الغرفة نظيف و مريح لكن ستارة البانيو تحتاج إلى إعادة نظر, حمام السباحة المكشوف رائع و نظيف, لكن المغطى تحتاج مياهه إلى المزيد من الإهتمام و النظافة, موظفي حمام السباحة ودودين, و أخص بالذكر السيد / علاء بالحمام المغطى, خدمة نظافة الغرف سريعة و فوق الممتازة, بالنسبة للطعام فهو من جيد إلى جيد جدا و متنوع, و جميع عاملى المطعم بشوشين و ودودين جدا, كنت أتمنى توفير زجاجات مياة معدنية في المطعم أفضل بمراحل و أكثر عملية من الإعتماد فقط على مبرد المياة " water dispenser ", نظافة الأكواب الزجاجية في المطعم تحتاج إلى إعادة نظر, أشكر عمال نقل الحقائب لسرعتهم و تفانيهم, موظفى الإستقبال في الأغلب إحترافيين لكن عدم لباقة موظف واحد في الحديث يمكن أن يعكر صفوك, و أخص بالشكر السيد المحترم / محمود أمين, لسرعة تداركه للأمور, فهو شعلة نشاط تراه في كل مكان, و هو اضافة حقيقية للفندق.
Recreation for Serenity
I go there once or twice a year. very pleasant and beautiful, excellent service. The entire area is well kept; rooms, beach, various pools and restaurants always. Fantastic snorkelling just off the beach with a variety of fish and coral reefs and availability of boat trips to other locations. Indoor pool is nice. Chop Sticks (chinese cuisine) is amazing. Wide beach with wonderful sea views and activities. You should try it yourself :)

Запланированные даты пребывания: 04-16 мая. Фактические: 04-09 мая. 09 мая были эвакуированны из г. Таба в г. Шарм-эль-Шейх в связи с бурным потоком воды, сошедшим с гор в результате ливневых дождей и затопившим всю территорию отеля, вплоть до 2-го этажа. В результате чего, в отеле было выбито электричество и отключена вода. Пользуясь случаем, выражаем бесконечную благодарность и уважение каждому сотруднику отеля Moevenpick Resort Taba 5* за их молниеносную реакцию на надвигающуюся опасность: мгновенную эвакуацию туристов в наиболее безопасное место отеля; незамедлительное снабжение водой, едой, свечками; оказание психологической помощи нуждающимся; предоставление на ночь, (обращаю внимание), для каждой семьи, пары... в о т д е л ь н о с т и, чистых номеров в наименее пострадавшей части отеля; приготовление и выделение сытных пойков каждому гостю отеля наутро; и сопровождение туристов вплоть до размещения в близлежащем отеле Hilton, откуда в этот же день и были эвакуированны из города. Спасибо: -Персоналу отеля Moevenpick Resort Taba 5* за их стойкость, профессионализм и нашу сохранность; -Правительству города / страны за поручение: турфирмам эвакуировать туристов в непострадавший город; армии солдат-расчистить дорогу между г. Таба и г. Шарм-эль-Шейх. Отель понравился очень: разнообразное питание, граммотный отзывчивый персонал, красивая ухоженная территория, живая музыка по вечерам, близкое расположение к Израилю и Иордании. Анимация символическая-преобладают спокойствие и тишина. Обязательно вернемся туда после полной реставрации его и города в целом, которая должна быть окончена к лету 2015 года. Делая выводы из пережитых событий, настоятельно рекомендую туристатам: -В любое путешествие брать с собой набор основных средств, необходимых на случай наступления ЧС; -Воздерживаться, воздерживаться и еще раз воздерживаться от путешествий с детьми и пожилыми людьми. -А ТАКЖЕ НЕ ПРИБЕГАТЬ К УСЛУГАМ PEGAS TOURISTIK И TEZ TOUR. Берегите себя и своих близких!
Friendly staff, nice hotel
Some points worth mentioning: next to the hotel you find a flag on a pole which was raised personally by President Hosni Mobarak when Taba became part of Egypt after the treaty with Israel and such became the newest part of Egyptian territory. There is a mosque near to hotel so you have to prepare to hear muezzin's call to prayer. The beach is excellent, rooms are simple but nice. As the hotel is situated within the 200 m before the check-point where Egyptian entry fee is collected, you will find a lot of Arab-Israeli visitors especially in this hotel. Big families save a lot of money by avoiding to pay Egyptian entrance fee and that is why they choose this hotel. But it is very well worth a visit and you will like it, especially the staff at the reception and in the dining facilities is great!

В принципе неплохой отель для Египта. Чисто, большая территория. Рядом с границей с Израилем. Рядом находится Хилтон. Можно пользоваться территорией двух отелей. Море на любителя. Очень мелкое, но чистое. От аэропорта Шарма ехать порядка четырех часов. Были на " все включено ". Завтраки, обеды и ужины хорошие. Есть небольшой спортзал. Территория отеля ухоженная, но выглядит пусто. Очень мало деревьев. Следующий раз остановилась бы в Хилтоне. Т. к. инфраструктура в этом отеле понравилась больше.
Хорошо отдохнули!
Отдыхали в Табе с 16 по 25 октября 2013 г. Номер 2-х комнатный с видом на горы и море, очень уютный с двумя лоджиями и двумя телевизорами (что на отдыхе и не нужно!) Убирали хорошо, но когда давали доллар, то добавляли бутылочки с шампунем и брызгали в номере духами!!! Хороший пляж (вполне можно обойтись без спец. обуви), но обязательно возьмите с собой маску и трубку - на границе с пляжем Хилтона чудесные коралловые рифы с массой самых разнообразных рыб. Кстати рыбки настолько ручные, что мы их кормили с рук буквально у самого берега. Прикольные уточки на реке, любят булки и лаваш. В общем общение с природой по полной программе! Кормежка неплохая, но очереди больше напоминают столовую, чем ресторан. Соки, фрукты, чудесные хлеб и сладкая выпечка, мясо, курица, рыба ежедневно. Ездили в 2-х дневную поездку - Мертвое море, Иерусалим, Вифлеем. Тур брали у отельного гида Мухамеда, очень доброжелательный, внимательный и приятный молодой человек. Анимации практически не было, наверное конец сезона?Хамам не понравился, массаж так себе... Но в общем отдохнули хорошо. Сравнить есть с чем, ездим отдыхать каждые пол года, отель на твердую " 4 ", но так и цена на путевку достаточно приемлемая, так что рекомендуем!!!

Sam port lotniczy jak średni dworzec, ale droga z lotniska robi wrażenie. Zaczynając wyjazd trafiliśmy na święto w Izraelu (biuro powinna powiadamiać klientów o takim fakcie). Wojna już od samego początku aby zdobyć pokój, obłożenie 100%. Kolejki w której Europejczycy stali grzecznie a 'tamtejsi' po chamsku wcinali się nie zwracając na nikogo uwagi... Z otrzymaną w recepcji kartą udaliśmy się do pokoju. Ten okazał się przestronny, klima, lodówka, sejf serwis bez zastrzeżeń. Warto pomyśleć o jakimś spreju na insekty, gdyż faktycznie w nocy komary cięły. Łazienka ok, ale nie na 5*. Idziemy dalej, restauracja. No cóż wewnątrz faktycznie lepiej pasuje określenie stołówka, ale na zewnątrz bez zastrzeżeń. Znów walka z muzułmanami o jedzenie, którzy nie bardzo wiedzą co znaczy kolejka. Jak się później okazało, dobrze że byli, bo gdy tylko pojechali zniknęły kolacje tematyczne z zew. budynku, jedzenie stało się monotonne i mało atrakcyjne ubyło 50%. Chcąc znaleźć coś europejskiego na kolacji nie ma szans. Jedynie burger w sea sheall na obiad podawany z frytkami przypomni trochę smaki Europy, kiedy będziesz miał już dość baraniny, falafli itp. Warzywa, owoce - wiadomo, strach bo myte ichniejszą wodą, nam zemsty nie udało się uniknąć. Mamy porównanie z hotelem 4* w Sharm i niestety Movenpick z jedzeniem wypada blado. Baseny ok. All in przy basenie jak i bliżej plaży. Polecam ten drugi, można również napić się kawy z ekspresu. Plaża bardziej kamienista aniżeli piaszczysta, przydadzą się buty. Rafa niestety biedniutka (w porównaniu z ras nasrani w Sharm), jedynie na granicy z hotelem Hilton pokaźniejsza. Nie mniej jednak warto spakować maskę i rurkę (można również kupić na miejscu, koszt ok 15$), papugoryby robią wrażenie. Po 3 dniach kiedy muzułmanie wybyli, cisza, spokój, pełen relaks kosztem słabszego jedzenia i zamkniętego mniejszego basenu. Wycieczki stosunkowo drogie, nurkowanie z łodzi + snurkowanie w 2 miejscach 90$, petra bodaj 290$. Na miejscu motorówka z bananem na 6os, rowerek wodny, wielbłądy. Krajobraz przepiękny, ogród okazały. Można korzystać z leżaków w Hiltonie! Warto udać się na taras widokowy w Hiltonie. Bezpłatne wifi które czasem działa czasem nie, ale i tak nie ma czasu z niego korzystać. Całkiem fajna siłownia, na miejscu sauna gdyby komuś było za zimno. Generalnie polecamy, jeśli ktoś jednak pragnie spokoju z którego słynie Taba, warto sprawdzić muzułmańskie święta.

Всё великолепно! Портит впечатление ресторан. Горячие блюда невозможно употреблять. - всё острое, невкусное. Питались йогуртами, салатами и всё равно заполучили диарею, как позже оказалось не только мы. Всё остальное великолепно: в барах вполне приличное пиво, вино, на ресепшен, в баре, даже натуральные соки. Экскурсию в Израиль брали всё-таки у отельного гида, дороже на 100$, но стоило того - комфортнее и с ночевкой в приличном отеле в Вифлееме. Территория отеля обширная, в отличие от Хилтона и пляж получше. В левом конце пляжа роскошный коралловый риф с рыбками. В Египте не первый раз, поэтому можем сравнивать. В аэропорту, на паспорт. контроле, визу лучше не брать, попросили штамп " only sinay " - поставили без звука. Так проще пересекать израильскую границу самостоятельно.
Fantastic hotel
Hotel is very beutiful, and have a fantastic huge garden. Hotel have long beach with coral reef, and great view at Jordania and Saudi Arabia. Rooms are clean, big, and really nice. Every room have a beatiful view on sea, or mountains. Almost all people from animation are fantastic especially Paulina, Ola, Agnieszka, and Tash. All except leader of animation (Kabaka?) because he is unpleasant and tiring. People likes him only for 2-3 days. After they really don't like him. The best bartenders are Belal and William in the beach snack bar. They always are smiling, nice and fast. Conversations with them also are pleasant. In the reception people are nice and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for the rest but not for partying because in Taba except hotels, shops, and Taba Garden (lovely place with shisha) there is nothing.

Hotel położony przy granicy z Izraelem na kompletnym zadupiu. Hotel nie jest jakoś specjalnie duży ale za to powierzchnia jego ogrodu robi wrażenie, dodatkowym plusem jest to że można było przemieszczać się do hoteli sąsiednich (Hilton, tam były sklepy z pamiątkami i nie tylko np: dyskoteki, kasyno). Plaża usypana piaskiem? ale wejście do morza już kamieniste: bez butów nie wejdziesz, wokół plaży i w samym głównym basenie punkty gdzie można było się napić napoi (również%). Obsługa barmani bez zarzutu: w porządku. Ręczniki dawali zarówno przy basenie jak i na plaży. Animacje: Prowadził Rosjanin, Rosjanka i Egipcjanin: byli świetni: dla młodych energiczna animacja na basenie połączona z nauką tańca, dla seniorów joga i chyba Tai Chi? O 21godz najpierw tańce i zabawy dla dzieci później pokaz i zabawy dla dużo starszych dzieci ;) (czytaj dorosłych). Śniadania, Obiady, Kolacja łącznie z deserami: smaczne i dużo tego było ale na dłuższą metę (2 tygodnie) dało się zauważyć że monotonne cały czas to samo. Pokoje: duże sprzątane, ale co również dało się zauważyć: co dla nich jest ok, dla nas już ok być nie musi (mentalność araba?) : Wymiana ręczników białych codziennie na czyste? (dla nich czyste to po praniu ale że plama po krwi czy czymś się nie sprała no cóż ważne że wyprane równa się czyste) Dopiero stanowcza reakcja poskutkowała wymianą. Pokoje nie wiedzieć czemu Polaków i Rosjan znajdowały się w odległych skrzydłach hotelu natomiast Arabowie i goście z Izraela oraz zachodniej europy z przodu przy basenie. Pokoje mają klimatyzację to wielki plus bo uwaga: Są komary w nocy tną strasznie. Pieniądze: tylko i wyłącznie dolary. Nie wymieniać na ich walutę bo nawet nie chcą na nią patrzeć, wszędzie wołają dolary. Wycieczki: dla młodych? lub inaczej dla sprawnych polecam wycieczkę na Górę Mojżesza piękne widoki i dla samej satysfakcji że się weszło na taką górę. Wycieczka do Izraela trochę rozczarowuje (straszna komercja i wszystko szybko -szybko) ale jak trafi się naprawdę na dobrego przewodnika (przewodniczka) to warto. Wycieczka Jordania- Petra warto by zwiedzić ale za prawie 970zł jeden dzień, niewielu znajduje ochotników.
Extraordinary Holiday
It was our first time in Taba and is one of the best holidays ever!!!The hotel is great very clean specially the room, the staff is very efficient and friendly. The Chinese restaurant is the best especially the structure never seen in all the hotels I been before. My special thanks goes to Mr Ayman the SPA manager. The second day in the hotel we decided to get a massage... amazing... we spend all the time in the spa. In the morning we used to go to the gym and then jacuzzi + sauna, in the afternoon was snuggle time so massage massage and massage. I felt very important I have been treated like a princess. We will be back for sure. Thanks Egypt

Séjour du 11 / 11 au 18 / 12 / 2012 Séjour du 11 / 11 au 18 / 12 / 2012 Bien entendu, il ne faut pas rester pendant près de six semaines dans un hôtel pour s'en faire une idée précise mais ça aide. Un séjour court, peut être gâché par un évènement exceptionnel (qui peut se produire n'importe où) et entraîner des critiques émotionnelles mais non justifiées, donc, prudence à la lecture de ce forum où les moins courageux ne dévoilent pas leur identité. Tel que je l'ai déjà dit dans mes précédents billets, j'attache beaucoup d'importance au rapport qualité / prix et dans ce domaine, le Mövenpick Taba est imbattable. Le complexe est magnifique, agrémenté d'un jardin immense et offre toutes les commodités de ce genre de «resort» : Spa, coiffeur, boutique de souvenirs, bijoutier, bar de nuit (attention, payant à partir de 23h). Une excellente animation sous la houlette de Tabaka et son épouse Kia, est menée avec une équipe sympa et dynamique. Un «Kids Club» accueillera avec gentillesse et patience vos plus petits. Les sportifs se défouleront au volley et water polo ou en salle avec toutes les machines ad-hoc. Les plus téméraires pourront suivre les cours de plongée et obtenir leur certification internationale de «Plongeur de la Mer Rouge». Je recommande cette expérience extraordinaire qui ne requiert aucune qualification particulière si ce n'est, être en bonne santé. J'ai essayé et j'ai réussi à... 70 ans. La qualité d'une cuisine dépend essentiellement de son chef. En ce moment, une équipe exceptionnelle œuvre au Mövenpick Taba, cette brigade, gagnante de nombreux concours internationaux a pour mission de former le staff résidant à la «Haute Cuisine» même si beaucoup de clients sont hélas plus gourmands que gourmets. J'ai eu l'occasion de voir les buffets, cinq minutes avant l'ouverture du restaurant, les plats étaient des œuvres d'Art mais hélas, dès l'ouverture des portes, c'est une horde affamée qui s'est ruée et détruit tout sans même se rendre compte de la quantité de travail que tout cela avait nécessité. Les environs immédiats n'offrent pas beaucoup de possibilités de sortie mais par contre, l'hôtel est idéalement placé pour visiter Jérusalem ou Petra. D'autres excursions sont également proposées, tels que le Monastère de Ste Catherine ou une journée à Dahab (qui signifie «Or» en égyptien). Cet endroit est célèbre pour son «Bleu Hole» un trou naturel de 80m de profondeur que tous les plongeurs de monde veulent connaître mais les non-plongeurs y trouveront un endroit très agréable avec plusieurs restaurants au bord de l'eau. Je ne serais pas complet si j'omettais de citer l'accueil et le savoir-faire de chacun, du Bell Cap'tain et son équipe à la Direction Générale en passant par toutes les compétences telles que les hôtesses appelées «Guest relations» les réceptionnistes, le médecin, barmen, les cuisiniers et leurs stewards, les valets de chambre, les services techniques, les jardiniers, les beach boys, les services de sécurité et j'en passe que je prie de m'excuser. Franchement, se plaindre du Mövenpick ne peut être que le fait de personnes éternellement mécontentes ou de petit (e) s futé (e) s qui cherchent un dédommagement, j'en ai connu, hélas. We loved the hotel and the sea, the beach. Service was excellent. Food was just a heaven and the Executive Chef is an Angel. He cooked so well, everything was delicious. And the cheese he gave me is just a paradise. We will be back definitely!!!

We visited the Movenpick in August 06, at this point some of the complex was still under construction. We picked up an all inclusive deal off the net. Overall I think the place is good, and will probably get better as it fully opens. Good stuff 1. Food is above standard - the sea shells is very good. 2. Staff are friendly 3. Libra Reps seem chilled out - no hard sells. 4. Room is high quality, as is the hotel itself - is comparable to McDonald hotel chain in the UK (so high end 4 star) 5. Good indoor and outdoor pools. 6. Beach seems empty, and is pretty unspoilt. Bad stuff 1. Service was patchy - but imagine it will improve. 2. All inclusive get served in silly polystyrene cups at outdoor bars - which blow over in the wind. 3. Absence of a kids club meant they were occasionally running wild 4. Some areas under construction - a delivery of gravel happens daily about 11am - but otherwise building work is not obtrusive, 5. All inclusive doesn't include coffee / tea or bottled water. 6. Oh and it also doesn't include ice-cream However some of these are pretty minor niggles, and I'd imagine if I came back when it was fully up and runnign the place would get a 5.
Did we go to the same hotel!!!
I suppose my title says it all really, but, to make sure people gaina full understanding of what my girlfriend and I experienced I will write a FULL summary below. Firstly though a couple of things: The management at this hotel were excellent! A BIG thank you to Sherif, the Front of House Manager, who couldn't help me more if he tried! A second big thank you to the waiting staff in the main restaurant - especially Nared, who, despite the hotel being in it's busiest week ever, looked after us as if we were the only people there! And lastly the pool team who's jobs were difficult at the best of times, but imagine working in that heat during a month when you can't eat or drink during the day!!! Ok, so here goes the full breakdown: HOTEL (Overall) A stunning looking hotel from both inside and out. The front of house staff were polite and helpful, and always said hello or gave a wave when you passed through. The check in was the quickest I've ever had, even by UK standards, and a set of useful Golf Carts made traversing the massive complex easier, especially in the heat! The camels, wandering through the complex during the day time were brilliant, and the guys more than happy to give you a ride for a couple of pounds (GBP). The only negative was the Israeli's - they came over for the Jewish New Year, and walked about as if they (Still) owned the place (The flag plaza is a nice reminder that they don't!!!) and I found them rude and arrogant to the extreme... but then you can't help guests! ROOMS We were lucky enough to have a bungalow, and one of the 'B' set which have sea views from the terrace. The room was huge, and up to the standard I would expect for any 4 or 5 star hotel (even in England). The room had large bed and sofa, plus two TVs (a bit of an overkill really!!!) and enough chairs to start your own small restaurant if needed! The bathroom was of a good size with a bath, shower and hair shower, plus good sized sink. The whole bungalow was tiled throughout, and this was a great asset for the hot days! The air con was massive, and needed to be! We found that about 25 - 26 degrees was a perfect resting temp, and admittedly cheated the card electric system by leaving one in all the time, so air con was on when we were out, and off when we were in (to be fair, it was a little noisy, bu thtne looked like it could service an office block!) The housekeeping team were great. We gave a small tip (£2 GBP) the first day and was well looked after for the two weeks. We had several different 'towel art' creations left for us, and the floor was always immaculate (even under the beds - I checked!). We never once had cause for complaint, and when we used two of the sofa cushions as extra pillows after the second night, the guys added extra pillows without being asked to. I will admit that the bathroom did give off a bit of a whiff every now and again, but I found out that closing the plug on the bath stopped it immediately - we were second to the end, so probably down the wrong end of the water disposal pipes! but again, no probs once I knew what it was. The terrace was large and secluded enough that people didn't gawp in, but open enough that you could see the sea in the evenings. Towels were changed when needed, and bottled water added daily to the room. In short, excellent, which ever way you looked at it. I also saw the other hotel rooms, and these also seemed very good as well! RESTAURANTS AND FOOD Main Restaurant the food here was the main All Inclusive food hall. It was what you would expect from an AI food hall. Breakfast was continental (beautiful pastries!), eggs and omletes (some of the best I've had!) and cold meats and rices. Lunch was generally a hot meat, a fish and chicken dish, Pasta and rices. There was always a salad bar with interesting options, like a refreshining fruit salad! Dinner was much the same, but on a larger scale, usually there was a second fresh meat choice, and a potato option as well. soup was always available, and taken quite alot (must be an Israeli thing!) as was a great selection of cakes on a central pedastal. The waiters looked after you well, and once you befriended one, you had a mate for life! Ours knew exactly what we drank, when we drank it, and always made sure we had a table. Seating was the usual 4 - 6 seater tables, which sometimes meant sharing, but that's what AI is all about. It felt much more like a restaurant than an eating hall, and apart from one day, you could sit down within a couple of minutes. This one day was the first day the mass influx of Israeli tourists arrived, Sherif had already said they were coming, and to be fair the hotel tried to minimize impact by opening one of the A La Cartes up for Breakfast and lunches. The biggest problem with the hotel being at capacity was the group sizes. Many of the Israelis came as family groups of 8 or more! So they tended to nab the table pretty quickly, and were much more into plating anything they could see up and taking to the tables and creating their own mini AI food court at the tables! but again, you can't chose your guests... The staff did struggle a little for the first day or two, but were soon back on track, and seeing as they were just starting Ramadam (sp) did very well to cope. The waiters always apologised and constantly kept us informed of any changes - ie best tines to eat etc (The Israeli groups were generally in and out between 7 and 745pm) A La Cartes There are 3 other restaurants, we tried two, so will only comment on those: Sea Shells: as it suggests, this was the fish restaurant, now I don'y really eat alot of fish, but was impressed that that they had such a large 'non-fish' selection (the veal risotto was gorgeous!) my girlfriend however loves fish, and was able to choose king prawns fresh from the gulf of aqaba (basically the sea!) which she said was the best she ever had (they were huge). Most dishes cost about £4 - £5 GBP, the prawns being the exception at about £10 (but apparently well worth it!) All bills could be added to the room rather than carrying cash about, and this in turn could be settled in any currency you can think of! We also went to the Shabhazad, the North African themed restaurant. Again it was gorgeous, and well worth a trip to. Luckily for us, it was literally across the road from the bungalow, and had live music every night and Shisha pipes if you liked (costing about 80p GBP!!!) We ate a three course, plus special teas for about £15 GBP. We went there about 8pm, and finally left about 1am! We thought it was about 1030pm - the people were great, and my girlfriend did alot of dancing with the waiters. To see people that happy at work was a real treat! we didn't go to the Chopsticks restaurant, although we almost did on several occassions, but never found the time! Apparently the food is wonderful, but that's what I heard! The a la cartes offered a £3.5 GBP discount per person if you were AI, and had a daily changable set menu which was part of the AI at no extra cost, but needed booking. STAFF Excellent, top quality, customer orientated and polite. I admit some of their English wasn't great, but it beat my Egyptian hands down! Most of them I have already mentioned, but the place had hundreds of staff. There were constant garderners, lifeguards, bar staff, cleaners, house keepers, and room service attendants everywhere, as well as a brigade of middle managers who you would often see at lucnh time in the AI restaurant. My thanks go especially to Sherif the Front of House manager, who I was in contact with before we even left England. I was planning to propose to my Girlfriend whilst on holiday, and we meet during the week, and he helped me arrange a very special evening, including a meal at our Bungalow on the terrace with our own waiter, sparkling wine and menu created by myself. I did propose, and she did say yes, and we will never forget that night. It was made so special for us by Sherif and his team, and my thanks go out to him for all that help. we did pay a little extra for that treatment, but it was well worth it, and wasn't a spot on getting a table in a restaurant in England, infact it was less than a bottle of sparkly would be in England! SWIMMING POOLS The first week we stayed at the small bungalows pool, which was very chilled and quite low key. There was a small bar area set up, and the Lifeguard was great, always saying hello, helping with the sun shades and laying out sun loungers (which were plentiful and comfy) The pool was crystal clear and spotless from mornign to evening, which considering everyone was caked in sun cream is no easy feat! The second week we spent at the larger pool. This had the entertainment and music, and a very large poolside bar. This pool, again, was extremely clean, had small jacuzzis, and again enough sun loungers to go around. Towels could be changed daily, and were always clean and fresh. The main pool did have to be closed one day - this is because Taba is quite a way away from any other part of Egypt, and as such has water mains problems on an irregular basis, but these are being sorted. People have complained about this, but I would rather it were shut, than I get ill just to keep it open! The main pool, even during the Israeli invasion was rarely even half full, and although the pool was closed the sunloungers were still open, as was the beach! Sherif told me that the Hilton, next door, didn't get the same problems as it's mains came from Israel (it literally hangs over the boarder crossing) and this was obviously out of his control. The beach is rocky, so please do take some hard soled shoes or diving slippers (you can buy them there for about £6GBP), but the water is crystal clear and the reefs are amazing! It is also very bouyant, and so even non swimmers can enjoy it safely. ENTERTAINMENT The entertainment team are trying there best, at most they have been there less than a year, and put on some great cheesy disco type evenings, which was good enough for me! The team also run volleyball, and several excercise classes poolside or in the pool, and lengthly games of water polo! They are nothing, if not fun. They always try and engage, but I am sure as they get used to the type of guest will tone the entertainment to suit. To be honest, by about 9-930pm we were generally shattered, it is so hot out there, and to sit in the air conned room was a joy! The TV has plenty of English channels, and movies start at 9, which we were happy with, after all we were there to relax as much as dance about and swim! EXCURSIONS We only went on the Israel trip to Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. The places were great and I am glad I did them, but as they guide is happy to tell you it is at a military pace! Be warned! However, much of the trip was tainted by the boarder crossings, and constant passport checks and questions. As 'friendly' as Israel and Egypt are, they don't like to show it at the border. It took about 1.5 hours to cross going (about 25metres in distance!) and probably 2 hours coming back due to stamping problems. I would suggest unless you really want to go, don't go. By the end of the day you feel like a terrorist trying to smuggle stuff about, and the Israeli border control teams literally treat you like you are. However, much of this could have been shortened if the Eqyptian First Choice rep had been on time both sending us and picking us up. At one point we all had our passports taken off us with no explanation (and for me I had it happen twice!) Now this obviously has nothing to do with the hotel, and people that 'popped' across the border to Elat, did it in quick time - it appears it is mainly larger groups that suffer the brunt of this. Oh and the Israeli tourists will walk through you as if you don't exist - they obviously don't have a Hebrew word for queue! We didn't let it bother us too much, and actually laughed about it the next day - although as you can tell by the above, it didn't feel that way at the time. the trip was good, but fast paced, and the Israeli tour guide was more keen to get us to his 'special, cheap' gift shop than he was to let us look at the historic sites - First Choice, a lesson to be learnt there! OVERALL This was a 5* holiday for us, we enjoyed it for what it is billed as, a couples relaxing, sunbed holiday in a quiet and relaxed part of Egypt. Don't go here if you want late night entertainment - past smoking a Shisha! - and dont bring kids, there is nothing for them to do, other than learn to become Olympic swimmers! I know this has been long, but I was amazed by the awful reports people have left. It would be interestin to hear what they thought there would be in an area with a couple of hotels and a border crossing! Please think carefully before going if you don't want a Sun, Sea and Swimming holiday. the excursions are pricey, and Sharm is just down the road for all those 18-30 holidayers! Si mon choix s'est porté pour la sixième fois sur le Mövenpick Taba, ce n'est évidemment pas par hasard, encore moins par goût du risque. Comme vous, j'ai lu des avis divergents sur cet hôtel comme sur tous les autres d'ailleurs et ma conviction est faite : les forums vivent grâce au critiques gratuites. Donc, choisir sa destination ou son hôtel sur base de ces élucubrations n'est pas sensé. Cependant, il peut arriver à n'importe quelle entreprise de subir des revers et le Mövenpick n'en fut pas épargné après le Printemps Arabe. En cette période de post révolution, certains clients ont connus des déceptions et ne se sont pas privé de les relayer, aggravant ainsi une situation déjà fragilisée. Aujourd'hui 20 novembre 2011, je termine ma deuxième semaine et ce fut un séjour de rêve. Malgré les difficultés précitées, l'hôtel a fait peau neuve, réaménageant ses jardins, ses restaurants, son Spa et surtout sa cuisine dirigée de main de maître par un nouveau chef très et son équipe, dynamiques et imaginatifs. Si quelques nouvelles têtes sont apparues, la grande majorité du personnel est restée. Leur volonté de bien faire et surtout la gentillesse à tous les niveaux de la hiérarchie complèteront la satisfaction de ceux qui savent apprécier. Faites partie des BONS touristes et ils vous le rendront au quintuple. Si j'avais un conseil à donner, valable d'ailleurs pour toutes les destinations, renseignez-vous, avant de réserver, sur les vacances scolaires et les fêtes principales qui pourraient parfois «encombrer votre hôtel». Fantastic holiday and hotel
We have just returned from a weeks getaway at Moevenpick Taba and have had a really fantastic time. We struggled initially to book all inclusive at this hotel as First Choice, Longwood, Peltours and Libra did not appear to offer it as an option but I could see from previous reviews on the tripadvisor site that it existed so I emailed the hotel directly and they replied confirming this to be true (so come on you tour operators get your fingers out this is an underestimated hotel...) Longwood finally allowed us to upgrade to all inclusive but you can also upgrade on arrival at the hotel and it was certainly worth it. We could have chosen the Marriott, Radisson or Hyatt like most British people do but we have stayed at the Moevenpick in Prague and were totally impressed by the high quality and their total attention to customer care. We were not disappointed The hotel only opened in January so it is all sparkling clean, new and modern. In true Swiss hospitality style the customer service is exceptional and the staff wanted to do nothing but to please us, they often asked us if we had everything we wanted or if there was anything else they could get us but always in a very genuine way. I asked for a coffee once in the bar and they had just run out so the barman asked his asistant to go down to the pool bar for some fresh coffee, I overheard him asking and so said don't bother I'll have a tea instead, he said no if you want coffee you shall have coffee its no problem at all. So I did, (with a brandy in it of course!!) When it comes to food I'll admit to being a bit picky so I hate all inclusives that serve up school dinner type food with loads of chips to ensure you fill up, if this is what you like then this hotel is not for you. The food in the buffett is of a very good standard, they don't crucify the veg and it retains individual flavour. The beef tastes like beef and the lamb tastes like lamb. The variety is wide and you can have your own salad mixed with dressing each evening to individual taste. Mr Alex the deputy manager inspects the restaurant at 8.00am each morning to ensure presentation and quality are up to scratch and if it isn't it goes back. We tried the Chopsticks chinese restaurant and enjoyed it so much we went back a second time, the sizzling platters are amazing and the deep fried ice cream is to die for. The snorkelling at the border between the Hilton and Moevenpick hotels is great and because the Moevenpick is new its unspoilt. We like snorkelling in the Red Sea because the salt content is so high so you just float in the sea and don't need to move (We'e not usually this lazy - honest). Its a bit of a shock when you get in the pool though as you discover that unless you move your arms and legs you tend to sink We spoke to several couples who had been on tour operator organised snorkelling trips and told us that the snorkelling at the hotel is just as good so don't waste your money. We did go to Petra thoughand booked with Longwood and this was a very worthwhile trip Our room was amazing we were upgraded to a suite on arrival because the hotel was not busy, it was so big I had to put my glasses on to see from one end to the other with a bed to get lost in and living area to die for I wanted to take it home. But the walk in wardrobe really impressed me when deciding what to wear havin just emerged from the bathroom with two showers and a bath. I was squeaky clean all week. We tended to congregate in the Pharoahs bar in the evening as it was too cool for outside entertainment. Pharoahs bar is quite small but was never full because the only nationalities that seemed to congregate there were the English and Germans and we all mixed really well and shared many stories and photos. Ahmed the bar manager was good for a laugh abley asisted by Hisham and El Sayeed who also doubled up in the beach bar during the day. The hotel is not finished the spa, gym and lazy river are still under construction but this is not obtrusive, and it is a silent building site. The entertainments manager Mimo told us that the entertainments programme is ready prepared and one show contains walking on pieces of glass (that means him and not the guests - I did check..) المعامله كانت سيئه للغايه (استهتار بالزبائن). كمت اننا اخذنا خدمه يشمل جميع الماكولات والمشروبات الا انه فوجئنا بان المشروبات بالغرف لا تشمل الخدمه كما ان اليسكريم لا يشمل وغيرها. الاكل في الفندق لا يصل الى مرتبه نجمه واحده
Don't beware but be aware
My wife and I wanted a week away at the last minute, and chose Movenpick on the basis it was somewhere hot and was all inclusive (something we have never done before). We only checked reviews of the place the day before we left and immediately became a little concerned at the disparity between between people's views - most loved the place but a significant minority absolutely panned it (" worst hotel ever been in " etc). You soon learn, of course, to use such reviews as a general guide only, with really bad reviews often being written by people who've either picked the wrong sort of holiday, had one bad experience or clearly been the sort of people who are basically impossible to please! However, we did go with a certain amount of unease as to what we might find, and have to say that - although we enjoyed our week and would possibly be prepared to go back - we have some sympathy and understanding of where some of the more negative reviews are coming from. To keep things as simple and to the point as possible; Staff were universally excellent - helpful, polite, most having at least a basic understanding of English. The need for tipping is made a big thing by many people - forget it. On the last day we gave a dollar bill to room service, to those who took our cases to / from our room, and to the boy who sorted out our towels and loungers each day at the pool, and that was it. No one looked for tips, and management occasionally check that room staff in possession of money have actually been given it by guests. Many people talk of giving waiters etc money at the start so that they are " looked after " - I feel this is actually condescending, and is totally uneccessary as staff are generally pleasant and helpful anyway. Some have made a big thing about the need to keep buying water - this is not a problem. We had a litre bottle left in our room every day and made sure we drank plenty at each meal. There are also water dispensers by the pools and the beach. Many people also top up water bottles at breakfast in the restaurant (you're not strictly supposed to but no one seems to take any notice). Drinks outside are served in plastic mugs that are a bit scuffed etc but they are washed and clean. Some have said they should use glasses, but in practice that would be an enormours risk safety-wise. Food was excellent - well cooked and with sufficient variety. Yes, the breakfast options are a bit odd - pancakes, cakes etc but that is what many eat in Africa, Asia and even Europe! There are always boiled eggs and freshly cooked omeletts and fried eggs for us English. Beware of using the set menus at the 3 al a carte restaurants - those on all inclusive do not pay extra for these, but our experience at the sea food restaurant was that the 3 courses were prepared well in advance (each was delivered instantly to our table) and were really quite small (we stopped at the main restaurant afterwards and joined in their BBQ!). The beach isn't brilliant sand-wise - the hotel I believe has been built on reclaimed land with imported sand for the beach, so that getting into the water can be a slow business if you've got sensitive feet! (the Hilton next door seems to have put more down for their beach). But the clear, warm water and the fantastic coral reef and fish literally up to the beach make this a fantastic place to swim etc. Snorkel stuff can be hired but it's probably a good idea to take your own if you can. Also take a cheap underwater camera - they'll cost you £10 from the diving centre there. Our room was in the East Wing which overlook the area of the resort nearest the Hilton hotel next door. Certainly go for a sea facing room if you can as the view is superb, especially at night with all the lights. Avoid sea facing rooms in the West Wing - these face the main pool (noisy during the day) and the outside " entertainment " area (very noisy from 9.30pm until 11.30pm - sometimes later). Is this a 5 star hotel? The answer is probably that its more 4 star - quality of room fixtures and finish betrays this fact. It also clearly attracts quite a lot of what would best be described as " Butlin-type " holidaymakers (football shirt over bulging beer-belly, numbers of ill-disciplined children who are allowed to run around the restauarant at meal times.... you get the picture!). These are primarly East European or Israeli who did seem to descend in large groups (extended families?). However you soon learn which tables to avoid sitting near or which pools or parts of the beach are quietest, so this only becomes an issue if you're expecting a truly 5 start hotel with a calm, " refined " atmosphere. Yes, the evening entertainment is pretty crass with its forced jolity and audience participation, but if you're someone who likes that Butlin-type " fun " - then enjoy! If you're not then you can simply avoid it (although the noise is so intrusive at times that you can really only escape by being in your room with the windows shut). We didn't do much else and simply chilled, but especially if you go with a tour operator (Peltours etc) I would recommend taking the opportunity of seeing a little of what the area offers - trips to Cairo, Petra, St. Catherines Monastery etc all seem worthwhile (budget around £100 per person). Also consider snorkelling trips (£30-40 per day). In summary - a good hotel (but not really 5 star), great location, definitely worth a visit - but go with your eyes open (if you're after a true 5 star experience maybe consider the adjacent Hilton hotel).
Excellent Stay at the Movenpick Taba
Just got back from a weeks all inclusive at the Movenpick in Taba. A very relaxing stay, excellent food and brilliant service that firmly reinstates the movenpick motto of " true excellence in swiss hospitality ". We booked the holiday thorugh thomascook.com but realised that transfers from Taba airport [about 40km away with no public transfers] was not included. I emailed the hotel and was offered a shuttle bus at nominal cost. The front office manager Mr Sherif was very friendly and delievred a professional service in making our stay perfect. We also upgrded our room to the bungalow on the beach, on the quieter side of the resort at a small extra charge. This gave us a sea view with private patio, huge bed and a seperate seating area. The quality of the room was excellent and it was cleaned on a daily basis to a high standard with complimentary 2 x 0.5L waters given every day. We ordered room service [pizza 24 hours] on two occasions which was very good and prompt not to mention tasty. This was needed when we arrived back from our day trip to Petra arriving 9.30pm. Although we could eat at the restuarent we were shattered and just wanted to chill out. The room service prices were reasonable too. Many excursions can be arranged via the travel desk in the hotel lobby which are a good way to explore the surrounding areas. As Petra is now a wonder of the world this would be a worthwhile experiance. The hotel has a swim up pool bar in the huge main swimming pool and a quieter one by the bungalows. Both are manned and the towel stations people are very friendly. Compliments to Mr Hani who done a good job and looked after us well at the bungalow pool. The beach also has towel stations. The food throughout the stay was excellent. The main buffet restaurant caters for everyone and has a good vegetarian selection as we liked! Being a swiss chain you get a wide selection of pastries and deserts than other chains e. g, mariott etc which was a bonus. Breakfast was well laid out with dozens of items to choose from, lunch was the same, although we either went for breakfast or lunch as it's too hot to eat everything all the time. We ate in the main place a few times, again no problems but as we love lebenese cuisine, we ate the Shahrazad restaurant 3 times. The hotel offers a credit to use in this and their Sea food and chinese place, although we didnt try these. There is a dive centre on site which we arranged a introductory scuba diving session, this was a worthwhile experience for beginners to appreciate the red sea coral. The beach is a bit rocky and as the coral is so close is its not as sandy as you'd expect, so wear some beach shoes! As a movenpick guest you can wander into the hilton next door, there is a entrry point from the beach at the bungalow end. We also had a very relaxing massage which again could be arranged via the front desk. The Pharoes bar inside made some of the best cocktails and many thanks to Mr Yosuf for his cocktail skills. All the bars serve all inclusive drinks until 11pm then you have to pay extra. Although, we didn't need to! There was daily entertainment, e. g. pub quiz, dancing etc for families on the beack although we just sat back on the beach and watched the stars most nights listening to the music at a distance. The rooms have " sky movies " type channels that play the latest movies back to back every day, so a worthwhile catch up on entertainment was also good. All in all there is nothing bad I can write about this place. If you're after a night out clubbing then go to Sharm. This place is for total relaxation, for couples, families and individuals wanting to get a chilling out holiday. PS. The shisha [water pipe] was very good indeed and in a variety of flavours ;-)
Loved it at the Movenpick Taba
We recently returned from a one week stay at the Movenpick Taba on an all-inclusive basis, booked through First Choice, and we thought it was fantastic. We stayed in a bungalow to the east of reception - beautiful and real spacious. The bungalows are probably the quietest accommodation, and failing that the rooms in the main east wing are probably fairly quiet too. To the far side of the west wing is the area where the animation team puts on a nightly show, from around 9pm onwards, so if it's peace and quiet you're after request a room on the east side. The bungalows cost a bit extra but they are fantastically close to the beach, and the smaller but quieter second pool area. It's a bit more of a walk to breakfast but we ate so much at the fantastic buffet that I'm sure we needed the extra walk! Food wise there is excellent choice. Breakfast, morning snacks, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner, taking you from 6.30am - 10.30pm. Plus drinks including Pepsi, sprite etc, fairly reasonable local wine, and decent local beer, and juices. If you don't want to eat in the buffet every night then you can eat at one of the 3 restaurants onsite. There is a middle eastern, Chinese and fish / Italian restaurant. You can eat off the set menu at these restaurants at no extra charge (just book in advance each day - you can see what the menu's will be ahead of time to plan your dining) or you can eat a la carte with a 35 Egyptian pound credit per person. Yes, I know that is only about £3.50 sterling but to give you an idea one of the most expensive main courses I saw on an a la carte menu was 50 Egyptian pounds, so it seemed very reasonable! We liked the seafood restaurant best which also offers Italian style choices too. Some people have commented on the fact that the resort isn't 'finished'. Well yes there is an area that is still being landscaped, (although most of the landscaping and grounds are in fact now complete) but we experienced no noise from the remaining work at all. And the gym is still being fitted out, although we heard that they had just received a consignment of equipment. To us these were very much minor points - all the accommodation is complete and frankly we paid such a good price that it would seem petty to quibble about a few missing plants or a lack of exercise bikes. In fact we go on holiday to relax, not work up a sweat in the gym! although if that's your thing then perhaps contact the resort direct to enquire as to whether the gym is fully fitted. All in all I can whole-heartedly recommend this hotel. The staff are friendly and can't do enough to help you. The snorkelling is excellent (go to the left hand side of the beach, adjacent to the Hilton's beach, as this is where the fantastic coral reef is). Wear beach shoes as there are pebbles on the beach, although there is proper sand too. It is also a good location for excursions (one day to Cairo was £69 with a one day to Petra, including all visas etc was £129). I expect once the final finishing touches are added the cost of going to this resort will jump up so go now! On another note I can also highly recommend the Movenpick at El Gouna, also on the Red Sea.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Movenpick on an all inclusive basis 14th-21st October 2006. Overall we were very impressed. Quite a few of the facilities weren't finished yet, however this wasn't an issue for us as we simply went on holiday to get some sun and relax. During our stay the hotel was nearly empty, and was very relaxing, however towards the end of our stay we were told that the following week was going to be much busier and a real test for the hotel. During our final day or two in preparation for the influx of people the hotel really transformed its image and changed our impressions for returning. From looking like a very peaceful relaxing resort, it suddenly had deck chairs everywhere, hundreds of plastic seats and loud entertainment which started at about 11am and went on until about 11pm. The complex isn't massive and you tend to be able to hear the entertainment almost anywhere on the resort. We met some really lovely couples on the resort which we made friends with, and on the last night the restaurant manager arranged for our group of 6 to preview the Chinese restaurant, this was a day before the official opening. This was a real treat and probably the highlight of our holiday. The food and atmosphere were outstanding. If you visit the Movenpick be sure to give the Chinese restaurant a try. Good Points: Good food, especially the lunches (except for vegetarians) Very friendly and helpful staff, almost all staff can speak English Excellent views from the sea view rooms Clean and smart looking hotel The sea has very impressive unspoilt coral, you will see lots of exotic fish by just snorkelling a few meters from the beach Bad Points: No cocktails are included as part of the all inclusive package Bottled water not included as part of the all inclusive package, but water is available for free by the glass. Ice-cream not included as part of the all inclusive package even though the hotel is owned by Movenpick Beach is quite rocky / pebbly, although sand has been imported to the top part of the beach Not much choice available for vegetarians Right next to an Islamic Mosque with speakers facing the resort. Loud callings can be heard from very early in the morning till just after sunset.

The hotel is wonderful and i have never experienced such amazing service before. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go home! I was just expecting a few little bites to eat at breakfast but it is a lovely wide variety with different things everymorning! freshly baked. The pool is lovely, i am 13 and i enjoyed it. SEASHELLS RESTAURANT At lunch my dad, my stepmum and i went to seashells and they are so lovely in there! they give us a cold flannel to cool us down they give you a lovely bread basket at the start of your meal with all freshly made bread. al-carte HOTEL RESTAURANT In the actual hotel resteraunt it is self service and again there is fresh bread and yummy desserts. the chef's are all lovely and always help you out if you dont know what a certrain type of food is. PHAROAHS BAR Pharoahs bar and lounge is a great place to sit and chill out anytime of the day they have a happy hour and they have cocktails of the day (NON-alcholic aswell as alcholic) ! ICE CREAM Yummy!!! there ice cream is swiss and it is so lovely !!!!! the vanilla is so creamy and the have black and white and sorbet's COMPUTER ROOM They have (on the 2nd floor) two computers and an arcade. it is £50 egyptain pounds for an hour which is £5 english and then a certain amount for half an hour and a certain amount for 15 mins. RECEPTION We had a welcome drink when we arrived and the people at reception are very friendly and helpful. GIFT SHOP 1 There are 2 gift shops inside the hotel but this one is where you can get things like scarobs, mummy's, bags, pots and egyptian smokers GIFT SHOP 2 In this gift shop you can get things for the pool like floats, rings, lilo's and armbands! you can also get suncream, pens, postcards and ornaments. Don't Bother!
Having stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Taba Heights (which I love) several times, i decided to try the Movenpick for a change - BIG MISTAKE. The pool was filthy and 3 of the pool lights were broken and floating in the water. Staff assured us that there was nothing wrong with the pool, yet on day 3 of our stay my son, along with 4 other children that i know of were taken very ill and had to see the resort doctor (this cost £60!). This was attributed to the cleanliness of the pool, which was then shut down for 2 days and management finally admitted that the filtration system was broken and they had run out of pool chemicals. Due to the issues with the pool, I took my 8 year old to the kids club one afternoon at 2.30 and arranged to collect him at 5.00. I was horrified to find him wandering around the hotel looking for me at 4pm - he had gone to the outdoor play area and then the staff had refused to let him back inside when he got too hot, so he had come back into the main hotel on his own. Our room was nice and on day 3 we left a tip for the cleaner - another mistake as our room was dirty from then on, the bathroom lights and air conditioning stopped working, and it took 3 complaints to reception for this to be rectified. The buffet was very poor, so we decided to eat at the Chopsticks Chinese restaurant one evening. our table was booked for 7.30pm and we didn't get our meals until 9.10 - to add insult to injury the waiter then took a plate from one of us while she was still eating her dinner 15 minutes later as the next bookings were due to arrive at 9.30! The setting is lovely, the weather is great, what a shame that Movenpick have completely failed to get anything else right.

Отель предназначен для спокойного отдыха семейных пар. Вблизи совсем нет клубов, зато очень близко находится граница с Израилем, можно ходить туда пешком, очень рекомендую лагуну дельфинов.
Absoulutely Brilliant!!!!
Very Nice hotel indeed. We booked last minute getting a weeks holiday for approx £420 each all inclusive. On entry to the hotel, we were welcomed with a drink and several smiles. The room was amazing, better than we expected (Standard Room). Nice and roomy with a King size and a double bed in. The room was decorated to a high standard. The only down size was we were next to the external door, which over enthusiastic people broke with their slamming, which was good for us. So only an issue for the first 2 nights / mornings. Though was not a major issue. Food was excellent, however, husband was caught out with undercooked chicken on one occasion, but apart from that food was excellent. Service everywhere was amazing and all the staff were more than happy to help. Only found one staff member in the restaurant annoying. We paid for a pizza one night and he only brought it out (other member of staff took order) and expected a tip and was quite blatant about it. the hotel was very clean inside and out, where you could see staff constantly cleaning. Although at the end of the stay the swimming pool was starting to look murky. Bar staff at the pool were excellent and by the end of the week, had your drinks ready before you got there. We only went on a boat trip (the lazy day) which we would highly recommend, as there were some fantatsic snorkelling stops along the way. we were fortunately as there were only 6 of us on a big boat, so we were looked after very well and the staff were able to help those who were not good at swimming. Animation team worked hard, headed by Max. They didn't hassel those of you that didn't want to take part, but were willing to entertain, those that wanted it. I honestly cant think of a bad think to say about the hotel. Be aware at the airport, as they try to charge smokers £1 to smoke in the toilets. They also pass you a couple of sheets of toilet paper and request an English pound for the privilege. Which would be fine, if the toilets were emaculate, but they were filthy and needed a good clean. All in all an amazing holiday and would recommend to all and would also return in the future. Location wise, this is a little out of the way, with only the Hilton next door and very small shops (2-3), so if you want somewhere with life dont go to Taba. However, we wanted to pick someone quiet and idealic and this is what you get.
A Fantastic Holiday!
My new husband and I have just come back from a brilliant week at the Movenpick, Taba. There is so much to say that I am going to divide my review into sections: Hotel The hotel is very nice. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The pool is lovely (although it did get quite warm by the end of the day) and the swim up cocktail bar perfect! The grounds are large and a wide range of activities are on offer. We had a ground floor river / sea facing room which had a nice large terrace, not that it got much use as we didn't spend much time in the room! We went on an all inclusive deal through last minute and our tour operator was Peltours. They were good, although we were quite independent and didn't really use the operator for anything apart from transport to and from the airport but there was always a rep on hand should you have needed him. Food The food was very nice, there was a large selection at all meals, to cover all tastes / dietary requirements. We had lunch and breakfast in the hotel whenever we were there, breakfast did get a bit busy by the end of the week but if you are an early riser this shouldn't be a problem. The nights that we were in the hotel we ate in the separate themed restaurants to provide some variation from the main eating hall. The set meals at these are included in the all-inclusive and are very nice. There are three restaurants, an oriental, a Chinese and a sea food one, we would recommend them all, but book into them when you arrive as they only take bookings for 15 people a night and it is sometimes hard to get a reservation. Trips As mentioned before, we wanted to be quite independent of our tour organiser (and the big crowds) so we organised all of our trips through an independent travel coordinator called Nature Travel - represented by a very nice chap with a desk in the main lobby, just opposite reception. This meant that our groups were comprised of a maximum of 6 people which was ideal (although I would advise to make sure you are in a small group when booking as anything more than will mean you will miss out) ! We went to Cairo for the day - this was a very long day (up at 2.00am and back at 2.00 am the following day) but well worth the trip if you haven't been to Cairo as it was amazing! It cost us 675 Egyptian Pounds (approx GBP 60 each). We got our visa to Cairo in Taba airport when we landed, I recommend this if you intend to go, it seemed the easiest way and cost USD 20. We had a very nice and informative guide called Nasser Fattah Oraby. He ensured we had a fantastic day and maximised what we saw during our short time in Cairo. Don't be put off by the drivers, apparently they know what they are doing…. and we got back in one piece :) We also went to Petra (Jordan) for the day, it is quite a long journey so the stay in Petra is quite short but it is definitely worth the experience. The Journey is part boat (to Jordan) and then about a 2 hour coach trip. This was a little more expensive as it cost 1, 250 Egyptian Pounds (approx GBP 110 each), but did include a boat trip across the Gulf of Aqaba to enter Jordan. All trips include lunch and the hotel provides a breakfast box for early departures and a dinner of cold meats, cheeses and salad with bread left in the room if you are not back in time to eat in the hotel. We didn't even have to ask! With the hotel being a 1 minute walk to the Israeli border we decided to treck along there for the day off our own backs. We just walked across and got a taxi on the other side to " the Mall " Eilat city centre (costing 30 shekels or approx GBP 7). It was a very nice change of scenery, and we loved sitting at the beach bars sipping cocktails! It is a party town so ideal for a day shopping and a night of bar hopping. The Egyptian departure tax when crossing to Israel was only 2 Egyptian Pounds (approx 20p each). However, you will than have to pay an Isreali departure tax of 67.50 Shekals (GBP 15 each) when you return to Egypt, and a further Egyptian departure tax of approx GBP 5 each to leave the area of Taba (i. e. to go to the airport) if you have been to Israel. Confusing, but well worth it to enjoy the westernisation that Eilat has to offer. Given the departure tax issues though, it is probably wise to visit Israel towards the end of your visit to the Movenpick. Diving and Snorkelling The Movenpick has an on-site dive shop but the main shop is their sister shop next door in the Hilton, a one minute walk. We did a full day of diving (3 dives) with Aqua Sport, and had a brilliant time! We are already advanced qualified divers but there were beginners and try-divers on the boat also. The diving is amazing! The fish and coral are out of this world. Our instructor Emma was great and very thorough and the boat skippers were very friendly, they cooked a delicious Egyptian lunch! We didn't take any kit with us, we hired it all there - and all in all it came to EUR 105 each. If you are more keen on snorkelling this is also highly recommended. The best place by far is by the fence in between the Movenpick and the Hilton, the coral is amazing and the fish beautiful, even right up to the shore. It is pebbly so getting in and out is a bit tricky but well worth it! Snorkelling in the Hilton is great too and seemed less busy than the Movenpick - underwater camera is a must! Finally It is not my sort of thing to go back to the same place twice, but if it was I would definitely go again. But a word of warning, as our Jordanian tour guide put it " You have to learn to be very patient in the Middle East or you will die very young of a heart attack ". ;)
Excellent, Brilliant, Fantastic Movenpick
I traveled with my partner and 3 kids 8, 11 and 12 in june 2007 for 2 weeks All Inclusive. As it was a newish hotel I wasn't quite sure how good it would be or if it would be completed but it exceeded my expectations! The hotel was fantastic, the staff were all very friendly and only too pleased to serve you in the restaurant always with a smile. A small tip and a little Arabic will go a long way. The rooms were lovely and cleaned every day. We had a deluxe room with a terrace with amazing views. We awoke to the camels outside our terrace the first morning which the kids thought was great. The restaurant had a fantastic choice of food, which we didn't get bored with and even my 12 year old ate it which says a lot ! The Chinese restaurant is worth a visit to. Make sure you take your snorkel as the coral reef just off of the hotel beech is amazing! you can certainly spend a few hours watching the different species of fish, I became addicted. This is a fantastic hotel with great staff nothing is too much for them to do for you and we will defiantly be returning again! !
Dont believe all you read!!
Firstly I feel guilty for not writing this sooner, It is so easy to complain but giving praise where it is due does not happen so easily. We booked this hotel for our Christmas holiday with 2 very dear friends. We saw the ad in the Daily Mail and booked in October, We did no research on this property but after a few weeks looked at Tripadvisors comments. We were very concerned to say the least. We read about Taba tummy and all the food related problems, it even prompted me to ask a question on the Forum! Despite a 3 hours delay at Gatwick on the morning of the flight, things ran fairly smoothly with Astreus, the aircraft was very smart, and the crew were attentive. The arrival into Taba was a little confusing, we Brits certainly know how to queue. Little info seemed available as to what to do so be prepared for that. But in general we were on the coach and away in about an hour. The journey home was also delayed and it is not the most pleasant place to be delayed at either. ~The crew on return were not so friendly and the service quite poor. On arrival at the hotel we were not expecting to get dinner as by now it was after midnight, but the restaurant staff had prepared a cooked buffet dinner, which was very welcome. The food was much better than the reviews reported. Yes the puds are a little garish and the breakfast a bit boring, but in general we were very satisfied. The supplement restaurants were excellent, we ate at them most nights a la carte, and for the small supplement you pay well worth it we all felt, At the end we only came away with a bill for about £70. We looked forward to Chopsticks as the reviews were so good, unfortunately this was our worst experience and waited ages for poor food. Ian the manager was eating there too that evening and he came to us and explained problems with a new chef, we were not charged for this meal. One tip is eat breakfast at Sharahzad its much more peaceful and sitting outside in the sun on Christmas day enjoying the freshly cooked omelette was wonderful. Ian the general manager is a nice Scottish chap, who made the Christmas gala evening really speciel and a sight to behold. We named the structure at the back of the pool area, " Carpets are us " !! We watched this being built over a few days with poles and large rugs, nothing could prepare us for the sight when we entered on Christmas Eve. It was magnificent with all the chefs on duty in their pristine whites, the food was amazing and the decorations fabulous. We were entertained with the most unusal act...... the spinning man - make an effort to see him, as we all said it was something so unique. The whole evening was a credit to Ian and his staff. The rooms were very spacious and bright, if I had to be nit picky I would have to say the bathrooms were disappointing. They were a bit smelly, with dirty grouting on the tiles and generally shabby for a hotel that seems so new. Our friends said exactly the same. The previous comment re loo rolls ie take your own was unfounded! I took 2 packs of kleenex wipes and brought them home again!! We were lucky in the fact there were only 400 guests that week, so the staff were amazing and very friendly and attentive!! There were quite a few Russian guests, one of which deposited himself almost through our glass patio doors in a very vodka induced state, and at 9 in the morning!! Beware though your all inclusive is only until 11pm in the evening and maybe this is the reason why. They do make charges also for ice cream and you wil have to pay extra 100 Egyptian pounds to use the newly opened Spa, which if you buy a treatment this is then deducted. The outdoor pools were also freezing but the the sea was warm. Diving is fabulous and you can snorkel at a beauftiful reef just off the beach. Divers note there is a dive school at the hotel and you do not need to go to ones outside the complex. We wish this had been promoted to us by Pell tours as our hubbies could have had a couple of extra hours a day in bed had they just used this one!! For the ladies we felt there was no need to venture off the complex as it is a bit scary. You can wander down the beach to the Hilton and look at their shops but its not Harvey Nicks!! Take lots of books and things to amuse yourself with if you dont plan on doing any trips like ourselves. In general, a fabulous way to spend Christmas, booking this allinclusive deal was much cheaper than staying at home and without the hassle. Despite our initital fears we must say we were very pleasantly surprised by it all and we all agreed we would have no hesitations in going back. In fact as soon as we got home we started looking on the internet for deals!!

Nous avons passé un séjour du 11 août au 26 août avec nos deux enfants. Je vais aborder cette critique en 2 parties : la première relevant de l'hôtel, la seconde des touristes présents. L'HOTEL : Le lieu : Réellement surprenant car il s'agit d'une «anse» entièrement cernée de montagnes. A ce titre on a du mal à se croire en Egypte tant le décor est différent de tout ce que nous avons pu voir au cours nos 4 séjours précédents en Egypte. Ensuite, autre grande différence qui a été particulièrement appréciable : il y a une vraie plage qui plonge dans la mer contrairement aux traditionnels pontons qui enjambent la barrière de corail. Magnifique ! L'infrastructure : L'hôtel étant de la chaîne Mövenpick, il n'y a pas eu de mauvaise surprise, si ce n'est un manque de «caractère local» dans la construction et la décoration. Les standards sont respectés : chambre, salle de bain, toilettes, rien à redire. Petit bémol pour le hall d'accueil et la salle de restauration principale. L'ensemble est construit sur 3 niveaux ouverts. De fait il y a tout de suite beaucoup de bruit amplifié par la hauteur. L'extérieur est agrémenté d'un jardin et d'un petit cours d'eau artificiel avec quelques jets d'eau. Des promenades permettent d'arpenter le jardin ainsi que la plage. De nuit c'est joliment illuminé. Le service : L'accueil : De toutes les personnes que nous avons rencontrées aucune ne parlait le français. A défaut de maîtriser la langue locale, la connaissance de l'Anglais est indispensable. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres en précisant à 3 reprises que nous voulions qu'elles puissent ne pas être trop éloignées l'une de l'autre. La nôtre était à l'extrémité d'une aile d'un bâtiment, celle des enfants à l'extrémité de l'aile opposée…difficile de faire mieux quand on connaît la longueur des ailes ! Notre chambre était située tout au bout du couloir rez-de-chaussé donnant d'un côté sur l'ensemble des aires et bâtiments de service. Le côté de ce couloir donnant sur les bâtiments de service était entièrement vitré, ce qui a permis d'avoir d'une part une vue…imprenable, d'autre part une température suffocante car ce couloir n'est pas climatisé, et les vitres comme tout un chacun le sait, ça fait loupe. Notre terrasse donnait sur le terrain de football, appréciable quand il y en a qui jouent à 1h00 ou à 7h00 du matin ! Nous dirons que nous n'avons pas eu de chance dans l'attribution des chambres. Le service de chambre : Rien à dire. Nous avons eu un jeune homme charmant, sympathique et la chambre a toujours été parfaitement nettoyée. La restauration : Pour des raisons que j'expliquerai un peu plus tard, nous avons été amené à petit-déjeuner, déjeuner, et dîner dans un restaurant de plus petite capacité, habituellement réservé aux repas de fruits de mer et de poissons. Le buffet était plus petit que dans le restaurant principal. La qualité des repas est bonne mais vraiment peu variée surtout pour un séjour de 15 jours. A mon étonnement, il n'y a pas eu une seule fois de glace proposée en dessert. Quand on sait que Mövenpick est réputé en Suisse pour ses glaces, on a du mal à comprendre. La formule all-inclusive s'apparente d'avantage à une pension complète améliorée plutôt qu'à un vrai tout inclus. Pas de petite restauration continue, sauf à considérer que des sandwiches à la tomate et au concombre constituent un en-cas. D'ailleurs le all-inclusive présenté à l'hôtel ne correspond absolument pas à celui présenté sur le site internet officiel de Mövenpick. Quand j'ai posé la question, capture d'écran à l'appui, un chef de l'accueil m'a sorti un «ultra-all-inclusive» de sa manche, dont les caractéristiques répondent en tous points au… «all-inclusive» du site internet. Mais il n'a pas pu m'expliquer pourquoi ces 2 formules ne correspondaient pas, ni pourquoi la " ultra-all-inclusive " n'existait pas sur le site internet de Mövenpick mais s'appelait all inclusive. Bizarre ! Les bars : Très ponctuels pour la fermeture, nous avons été servis la plupart du temps dans des gobelets en plastique blanc type machine à café (y compris au lobby-bar), ce qui est loin de correspondre à ce que l'on est endroit d'attendre d'un établissement de ce niveau. Par ailleurs, durant les 15 jours il n'y a jamais eu d'eau gazeuse au lobby bar (un comble pour un bar qui est censé faire des cocktails), pas plus que de jus de citron, tant pis pour les daïkiris et autre gin fizz pourtant proposés sur la carte des cocktails. Selon la personne du barman vous étiez plus ou moins bien accueillis et servis. La plage : Elle n'a jamais été nettoyée en 15 jours (en tous cas la partie sur laquelle nous nous trouvions). Nous avons passé notre temps à ramasser les fameux gobelets et autres déchets qui généralement finissaient dans la mer. Les transats et les matelas en mousse sont sales. De nombreux parasols sont cassés mais laissés en place. Selon le plagiste, dès 16 heures, il profitait de votre baignade pour commencer à regrouper les transats 2 par 2 sous les parasols. Il vous appartenait après de retrouver votre serviette. A 18h00 vous étiez littéralement virés. Le personnel : De manière générale, le personnel était plutôt avenant et sympathique. Certains par pur intérêt... L'animation : Nulle ! Il suffit d'ailleurs de voir la scène pour s'en faire une idée. LES TOURISTES. Le véritable problème réside dans les touristes qui fréquentent l'hôtel. Si les Russes sont effectivement présents, avec les écarts qu'on leur connaît, ce ne sont pas les pires et de loin. L'hôtel est ultra majoritairement occupé par des touristes locaux, venus d'Israël pour l'essentiel. Et là, au delà du choc de culture, il y a une véritable incompatibilité de comportement. En effet, au-delà de l'aspect visuel (les femmes sont voilées y compris pour se baigner, mais bon rien de choquant pour un pays arabe), c'est surtout une absence totale de savoir vivre, de respect, de courtoisie et de propreté qui sont à regretter. On ne peut pas énoncer tous les exemples mais en voici quelques uns : prise d'assaut de tous les bars et buffets, les gens ne font pas la queue et vous passent devant le nez, des ribambelles de gamins dont les parents ne s'occupent absolument pas ou alors ils sont d'une permissivité à toute épreuve, se servent comme bon leur semble sans aucune retenue, ils crient dans les couloirs jour et nuit, voire y jouent au football, des gens s'assoient avec les maillots mouillés dans les canapés et les fauteuils de l'accueil vous laissant une surprise humide le soir, fument alors que c'est interdit, ne savent pas parler mais ne font que crier en permanence, sortent le mobilier des chambres pour transformer les espaces gazonnés en camping, jettent tout parterre, etc…et je ne parle pas de la piscine, un véritable cloaque. De fait la cohabitation est impossible. Aussi, l'hôtel a dédié un petit restaurant aux «occidentaux». C'est bien ! Sauf qu'a priori nous n'avons pas payé pour ne pas pouvoir jouir de tous les espaces de cet hôtel. Le summum a été atteint au cours des 4 jours de liesse qui suivent la fin du ramadan. L'hôtel a accueilli tant de touristes locaux que des tables d'appoint ont dû être apprêtées sur la route à l'extérieur de l'accueil. Bref vous êtes amené à vous marginaliser de vous-même. Une autre solution consiste à faire un maximum d'excursion, pour quitter l'hôtel. Il est dommage que la direction de l'hôtel ne fasse pas respecter sa propre réglementation car tout le monde a le droit à une qualité de service correspondant au niveau supposé de cet hôtel et à la quiétude qui sied à ce type d'établissement. Personnellement je n'y retournerai jamais. Cependant chacun est libre de faire ce qu'il veut, mais en toute connaissance de cause.

Отдыхали с 20.12.12. по 30.12.12г. Выбирала курорт по многим показателям: 1. - 5*;2. - все включено; 3.- цена (на 2-х из Питера с прямым перелетом в Табу - 43тыс) ; 4. - вход в море (заходили без тапок, через 2-3 м вода по пояс) ; 5. - территория отеля (ну очень большая) ; 6. -граница с Израилем; 7. - по отзывам (прочитала отзывы не только о Табе, но и Ш-Шейхе, Хургаде.) о соседнем Хилтоне и Мовенпике; 8 - по поставленным задачам: посетить 3 страны, 3 моря. Победил Мовенпик. Наш туроператор - Верса. Летели 5 часов на А 320. Когда прилетели в Табу - хотелось сказать: пенсионеры в санаторий прибыли! Т. к. в самолете летели в основном пожилые люди. Гид встречал в аэропорту в Табе. Контроль прошли быстро. Всех пенсионеров увезли на большом автобусе по другим отелям. А нас 14 человек повезли в наш М-к и 2-х в Хилтон. Сразу поселили в номер 3068 с видом на горы. Мы сами ничего не просили, какой дали, в таком и жили. Все понравилось: чисто, тихо, еда - просто объедались, хороший пляж, теплое ласковое море, рыб- всяких разных, особенно возле забора между Хилтоном. На кусочек булки - их столько приплывет... Там небольшой риф с каньоном и кораллами. по часу из воды не вылезала. Персонал вежливый. Ни каких проблем не было. 24.12.12 позавтракали и пошли на границу. Идти - 5 минут. через 10 мин мы в Израиле. На 15 обычном рейсовомавтобусе за 4 шекеля доехали до автовокзала. На 394 обычном рейсовом автобусе Эйлат - Тель-Авив за 154 шек доехали до Ашдода. Это портовый город (военный порт, больше, чем в Хайфе) на средиземном море. Там живут наши друзья. 25.12. за 120 шек на чел ездили в Иерусалим на экскурсию. Побывать в таких святых местах! У Стены Плача при молитве - особое благословение! 26.12 за 165 шек на чел ездили в Назарет, проезжая Тель - Авив, Нетанию, Хайфу, о чем даже не мечтали. Были на Иордане, Галилейском (Геннисаретском) озере. Проезжали по долине Шарон, Мегиддо. Видели горы Кармил, Фавор, гору Блаженства, Приображения. Проезжали Тивериаду, места, где были Копернаум, Хоразин. Это всё библейские исторические места, где жил и творил чудеса Иисус Христос. 27.12.12 уезжая на Мертвое море, нас снова повезли в Тель - Авив, Иерусалим (даже не думали, что еще будем 2-й раз). Проезжали мимо бывшего Иерихона; горы, где найдены Кумранские свитки. Заезжали на фабрику израильской косметики Анаvа (по нашей кредитке viza все купили). В Эйн-Букеке 3 часа на городском пляже за 30 шек отлично поплавали. Возле его перешли дорогу и на 444 обычном рейсовом автобусе Иерусалим - Эйлат поехали " домой в Табу ". По дороге через пустыню в этом обычном рейсовом автобусе по телефону бесплатно по скайпу общались с друзьями. В автобусе мирно ехали англичане, французы, поляки, евреи (в основном солдаты ребята и девчонки) и мы... От поездки в таких автобусах - впечатление неописуемое. В Эйлате сели на тот же 15 автобус. Доехали до границы, а там штук 10 автобусов с бедолагами из Шарма. Они тоже возвращались из экскурсии по Израилю. Им еще ехать км 300. А мы.., показав свои сиреневые мовенпиковские браслеты израильтянам - они нас без очереди пропустили, даже не взяли с нас пошлину. Быстренько, быстренько перешли границу и мы в Табе. О! Какое блаженство. Голодные, усталые приплелись через 5 мин в Movenpick около 22 часов, О! эта еда, душ, постель.. А утром в 4.20 мы уже в машине ехали на причал к пароходику, отвозившего нас в Иорданию. Были в Акабе, ездили в Петру. Тем, кто собирается в Петру настойчиво рекомендую прочитать в интернете библейские пророчества о Петре. Там вам никто такого не расскажет. А без этих исторических данных нет смысла всё это смотреть. Когда вечером отплывали из Иордании в Табу - я снимала наш Movenpick. Он находился на другом берегу, еле мигал своими фонариками. так хотелось скорее вернуться в него. И вот последние 2 дня райского наслаждения. Прилетели в Питер 31.12.12. Пурга, холодно... Прошло 10 дней после возвращения. Задача выполнена: 3 страны, 3 моря... И грустные воспоминания перед сном о Табе, о Movenpick - таких простых, не броских, теплых, ласковых местах. ХОЧУ ОБРАТНО В Movenpick!!! с уважением - Татьяна.
Море. Пляж. Солнце. Территория - все отлично!
Отдыхали в отеле Мовенпик с друзьями. Море. Пляж. Территория - все отлично! Вся территория очень большая. Море очень красивое. Пляж чистый, шезлонгов предостаточно, в какое бы время ты не пришел, и если все-таки возникают трудности можно обратиться за помощью к тому, кто выдает полотенца. Аниматоры прекрасные. В нашем распоряжении было: дартц, аквааэробика, водное поло, стрейчинг, волейбол, боччу и т. п, в общем на любой вкус. Номер просторный и чистый. Убирались каждый день. Есть сейф в номере. По поводу барных напитков…, так себе…. местное производство…. что скажешь. Хорошие натуральные соки. Есть алкогольные коктейли, перепробовали все. Пиво разбавленное, хорошее только бутылочное. Неплохое вино - белое, красное, розовое. Питание. Голодными мы не были, но немножко однообразно. Каждый обед и ужин на улице на гриле жарили что-нибудь….. рыбу, крылышки, говядину, какие-то биточки….. Очень вкусные макароны и картошка фри. Из морепродуктов были кальмары, какие-то ракушки, и рыба морской язык каждые день. Много овощей. Фрукты: бананы, апельсины, мандарины, гуава, дыня, арбуз, яблоки, финики разные, грейпфрукт, лайм. Хлеб и выпечка отдельный разговор….........…безумно все вкусное. На экскурсию ездили в Израиль. Море положительных эмоций… т. к. давно мечтали побывать в таких «Святых местах» - Стена Плача и Храм Гроба Господня. В полном восторге. Все понравилось. Не удержусь от похвалы гида Мухамеда (хоть реклама здесь запрещена). Но хочется отдать ему должное. Все было организовано на высшем уровне и по очень хорошей цене. Всего 65 долларов. А поскольку у нас была компания из 6 человек, то помимо этого сделали еще скидочку. Этого гида порекомендовали друзья, которые отдыхали здесь месяцем ранее. عدت للتو من هذا الفندق الجميل بالفعل, الغرف وسيعة ونظيفة والفندق رحب وتقسيمة مريح. ولكن الجو يسوده الكابة التي لم أألفها في السابق لدى المصريين.. الفندق غير فرح بتاتا - لا موسيقى على البركة الخارجية او على الشاطئ. وعمال الفندق يغلب عليهم الكسل !! اما بالنسبة للاكل - فهنا تكمن المصيبة الكبرى. انا لا ابالغ ان قلت انه لا يوجد ما يُاكل هناك للأسف, وان وجد فهو معمول بالشكل السيء والرديء السعرالذي اتفق عليه مع الفندق يشمل جميع المشروبات والوجبات - ولكنه بلا مشروبات ولا وجبات !! ولقد علمت ممكن كانو في السابق في الفندق ان العديد من الوجبات قد تم تنزيلها من الخدمة حتى لدرجة انه لا يوجد اية شيء في الميني بار وان اردت شاي اوقهوه فهو على حسابك!! انا شخصيا احب مصر واحب المصريين فهو شعب مرح يخدم الزبون و " يديه عينيه " ولكني انصح بالابتعاااااااااااااد عن فندق الموفمبيك.. ملاحظة لشيء اعجبني جدا - انني لاحظت ان المصريين قد تغييروا بعد الثورة فلم يعودوا يطلبو " البخشيش " ذهابا ايابا كما كان في السابق وان تطاول عليهم زبون فهم يتمردون عليه ويقومون بالتوجه الى المدراء هناك شاكين على الزبون المتطاول.. شافووووو يا مصر

Заселилась в отель 1 января после обеда. Утром 2 января, пока я была на встрече с гидами, из номера украли все деньги. Оказалось, что ни дверь, ни балкон моего номера не попадает в зону видимости ни одной из камер наблюдения. Единственное, что смогли предложить администратор и начальник по безопасности - это при мне обыскать комнату на тот случай, если я " сама их перепрятала и забыла " и попытаться уверить меня, что это не уборщик (за время моего отсутствия в номере была проведена уборка). Также, пообещали проверить историю электронного замка номера - выяснить, " не открывал ли номер кто-то еще, кроме room service ", что само по себе подразумевает, что у " кого-то еще " есть ключ. Никаких извинений от администрации, моральной компенсации, да и просто элементарного уважения дождаться не удалось - даже информацию о том, что показала " проверка истории электронного замка " не потрудились сообщить мне сами. Воистину " 5-звездочный " сервис и - главное - уровень безопасности гостей.
Fantastic staff, nice 4* hotel, but be wary of the entertainment!
We booked through First Choice and travelled 8-15th May 07. We had a lovely, relaxing week and would recommend the hotel primarily for the fantastic staff and service. However, we have a few reservations (see below) which means I would agree with previous entries that this is a 4* hotel at present. First Choice Flight pretty cramped and staff mixed. Rep in resort was good and resolved a couple of issues for us, but excursions through First Choice are pretty expensive and can be arranged locally (there's a travel agent outside of the hotel, turn left & 2mins walk). Rooms Spotlessly clean and modern, though the bathroom wasn't that big. We originally had a room with no balcony - we complained and were upgraded (after several false starts - make sure you speak to managers - who were excellent - not just reception staff) to a pool / sea view which was really nice. We found out that First Choice don't reserve the rooms without balconies so if you get these then request to change. Food We went all inclusive which is worth it for the unlimited drinks alone (local wine is £12 per bottle otherwise and you'd have to pay for water). Food is fine, though by the end of the week I'd echo previous comments of buffet being repetitive and chicken being a little dodgy. Try and eat for no extra charge in the other restaurants off of the set menu at least once - this was great. Other guests The hotel was quiet for the majority of the week, though over the weekend period was noticeably louder by the pool and busier in the restaurant. We heard horror stories about the Arab Israeli holiday period though - definitely avoid this time as the hotel clearly isn't set up for being full and we wouldn't have liked the hotel if it had been any busier and full of rude guests. There are a mix of Western & Eastern European guests (lots of Ukranian / Estonian / Russians) - the mix was fine and we met some really nice people. The worst guests are those with kids so avoid school holidays! Staff Fantastic without exception - they cannot do enough for you and we had to insist that our favourite waiter accept the tip we offered as he didn't want to take it. I didn't believe before I went on holiday that this would make such a difference, but all the hotel staff were excellent (bar the entertainment staff - see below!) and this made for a really relaxing and enjoyable week. Hotel, pools, grounds etc As per previous reviews - the pools are nice though exposed and you do get a very welcome coastal breeze, which when it's 35degrees is lovely! The grounds are still not completely landscaped & not as established / green as other hotels - this was still being worked on but will be lovely when finished. Gym / spa / casino still non-existent. Beach is nice and you get fantastic views. The pool by the bungalow is quiet & more relaxed than the other so would definitely recommend this. Entertainment This was dire. Apparently the new 'animation' team have only been there a month so not sure if this has been noted before! In the day the loud music started by the pool at 9am and went on all day, along with incessant tannoy announcements about water polo / aerobics / belly dancing etc that nobody was interested in and was the same every day. In the evening the entertainment was repetitive and incredibly loud and could be heard across all the hotel grounds and in our room when we wanted to sleep. We complained twice and in the second half of the week the music was quieter, but make sure you whinge if it gets turned up again! Overall We had a lovely, relaxing week. The location is perfect for relaxing and the staff at the Movenpick made it a pleasure to be there. However, be wary of busy periods, vary your choice of restaurant over the week and make sure the entertainment is kept in check to ensure you have a good week. hôtel de haut standing, merveilleux
J'ai passé une semaine à Taba du 1 / 12 / 06 au 08 / 12 / 2006. Je donne un 10 / 10 à l'hôtel, pour le luxe, la propreté, la gentillessse du staff, et le restaurant " haut de gamme " dirigé par un chef français! Je voyage beaucoup et je n'ai jamais connus un tel raffinement dans le choix des plats, et des desserts! Et le petit déjeuner est merveilleux! (croissant, pains aux chocolats..). La chambre est très grande, avec coin salon, la salle de bain, très luxueuse, et une grande terrasse avec vue sur la mer rouge. Un havre de paix. Je déconseille ce lieu aux jeunes actifs, car c'est un endroit pour se relaxer et se déconnecté du monde!
Service, service, service!!
Are you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and most amazing time ever? THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE! We took a beautiful and spacious suite overlooking the pool area. The two balconies could have accomodated 8 people each, easily. However, there was nothing like sharing such a luxurious space with a party of two. If you are looking to make that lasting impression with your significant other or renewing that honeymoon, I will say it again... " This is the place to be ". From the minute we crossed the border, there was an atmosphere of adventure and romance. From there, it was first class service all the way. Looking for an icecream sundae at 3AM... just call, and before you can put down the receiver, the staff is knocking on your door.
Both quiet and busy
My partner, 16 month old son and myself, returned from this hotel two days ago and have seen two extreme aspects - the quiet and the busy. This is our fifth time to Egypt and our second time to Taba (we stayed in the Hyatt in Taba Heights last time) Getting there We went with First Choice - we paid extra for the day before check in, well worth it to avoid the busy queues and to gain a couple more hours in bed. The flight was full with poor leg room, average for a charter airline but quite unpleasant with our son on our laps for 5 hours - coming back was better as we had an empty seat so less cramped. Arrival We were given the warmest welcome - I had emailed the hotel prior to arrival to upgrade to a bungalow (well worth it for the extra space, location and peace), on arrival one of the reception managers, welcomed us and gave us a drink and then took us over to our room by club car. First few days The hotel initially was quiet, the atmosphere was luxurious and calm, we were so pleased we had chosen this hotel and were planning our return in October already. We felt so relaxed, welcomed and at home. Staff throughout the hotel were warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, and our son was the centre of attention. For me being vegetarian choices were limited, but there was a pasta station and a salad station in the main restaurant where I could pick and choose. Bread was fresh and soft and food generally of good standard - for meat eaters for food looked great and my partner had no complaints. The end of the first week BANG!!! The hotel was full - and I mean full. Full of Palestinians, while we usually love meeting other cultures, things turned quite horrible; we were given dirty looks, physically pushed out the way in the dining room, children were shouting what was almost certainly abusive language (in Arabic) at my partner when she was walking alone. She felt uncomfortable wearing her bikini- as westerners we were hugely out numbered. The dining room turned from a civilised tranquil restaurant to a nightmare - everyone was like a swarm of locusts on the buffet. The food also deteriorated, every night was tomato pasta for me. We had to queue to get into the dining room, only to get to a dirty table, getting a high chair for Sam was near impossible. We would ask for drinks, or cutlery, or high chair (if we could get hold of a waiter) only for them not to arrive. A section of the dining room was eventually cornered off for westerners and service improved slightly, but the buffet remained chaos. The hotel did open the Sharazad restaurant for all guests as well during this period which was quieter - but with no pasta station - meaning nothing substantial for me to eat. Things get better We approached the general manager one dinner time - and things turned around almost instantly for us. The head chef made me the most beautiful pasta and cream and promised to make up something vegetarian each day. We were told we could eat in the other restaurants and they would make a vegetarian dish up for me. Eventually the staff were extremely helpful, special meals were made on request, every effort was made to find Sam a high chair (although there were times when there just was not one). While the hotel stayed pretty much full until the end of our stay and the service was poorer than our first few days, the client group gradually changed making the environment much more pleasant, we didn't feel so threatened and out numbered. Overall We would honestly recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff are fantastic, and despite minor niggles it is a 'genuine' hotel, the staff don't harass you for tips, it is well maintained, clean in every aspect, great facilities and we are still hoping to return again in October. Just two points of advice: 1. email the hotel before booking to ascertain the occupancy - I would strongly advise avoiding the busy periods, as the hotel is truly at its best when not full. 2. if you have any special needs that are not being met despite previous efforts (e. g. vegetarian) talk to management, they will accommodate you

В Египте я была впервые. И, в целом, я осталась более чем довольна этой поездкой! Сначала о плюсах: Отличный отель с огромной зелёной территорией. Несколько бассейнов, ручеёк с уточками и цаплями, длинные дорожки, располагающие к неспешным прогулкам. Пляж, где обычно много сводобных лежаков и значительно тише, чем у бассейна. Море с кучей цветных рыб возле берега. Верблюды. :) Рядом Хилтон, в который можно ходить на рыночек за сувенирами и пр. (там и Дюти Фри, кстати, есть), по вечерам на дискотеки. Хочу заметить, что территория Хилтона намного хуже, чем у Мовенпик: скажем, совсем " непросторная ". Большим плюсом является близость к израильской границе (три минуты пешком). Экскурсию в Израиль и Иорданию мы заказывали у One Tour (дешевле, чем у остальных). Все границы и туда, и обратно прошли очень быстро. Наверное, просто повезло, так как кроме нашей турист группы никого не было в тот момент. В самом начале, когда уже прошли таможню и оказались в Израиле, ждали автобус минут 20. А потом он в пути чуть не сломался. Ну а так претензий не имею, всё было хорошо организовано. Что касается еды в отеле, очень и очень неплохо. Если оценивать по десятибалльной шкале, то 8 из 10. Я в этих делах капризная, но и на завтрак, и на обед, и на ужин - всегда находила, что хотела. А какие пирожные! Ммм! :) Номер выходил окнами на Китайский ресторан. Поселили нас очень удобно, недалеко от рецепшина. Несмотря на всё это, было тихо и спокойно. Ничего плохого не могу сказать об уборке номера. Оставляли на чай полтора доллара почти каждый день. Лебедей нам крутили из полотенец, как положено. :) Однажды надушили номер амброй (или мускусом?). Об анимации. Так себе. Например, польские аниматоры не слишком зажигательно вели аквааэробику. Чего не могу сказать о египтянине (six, seven - УУУУ!, seven - УУУУ!) - он молодчинка :) Не знаю, почему все здесь так хвалят их вечерние шоу... По-моему, на уровне детского утренника. Однако я, социофоб, все равно получала удовольствие, делая вместе с ними зарядку по утрам, занимаясь водной гимнастикой, танцуя восточный танец, голося песни в караоке и даже иногда танцуя дурацкий клубный танец. Спасибо большое, animation team! (Привет Роме!) А теперь о минусах: За 10 дней отдыха пару раз ночью отключали воду, что на нас не очень-то влияло. Но единожды воды не было и утром. К концу нашего отдыха в отеле стало появляться всё больше и больше раздражающих своим поведением арабов. С их приездом снизилось качество обслуживания. Бассейн стал грязнее, напитки стали разбавляться водой. А может просто так совпало? СПА услуги хорошие (могли бы быть и лучше), но потраченных денег, как мне кажется, не стоят. На завтраки, обеды и ужины советую приходить к началу времени, для них отведённого. Потому что если придёшь к концу, то выбор блюд будет значительно меньше. Часто долго приходилось ждать, чтобы столик сервировали. На завтраке официант с чаем / кофе проходил мимо нечасто, приходилось нахально брать с их столов чайники и наливать самим. Еда в Восточном ресторане (возле бунгало) - та же самая еда, что и в главном ресторане. В Китайском неплохая, обошлась дороговато. Но как бы там ни было, впечатления остались самые лучшие! отличный отель
Отдыхали с 2мя детьми 11 и 3 года. Очень удобен для поездок в иорданию и Израиль. Туры можно купить рядом с детской дискотекой, там дешевле. Еда на 4. Бесподобные йогурты. Море бедноватое. Но там живет огромная черепаха. За 10 дней 1 раз видели. В шарме черепах не видели никогда. А тут на тебе! Море пологое. Для детей идеально. Все чисто и аккуратно везде. В общем, если нужна тишина и покой, то идеально.
Прекрасный семейный отдых!
Чистый, уютный семейный отель с большой озелененной территорией! Персонал приветливый, всегда откликается на любые просьбы. Размещение: в гостинице по-моему 4-5 этажей, есть и лифты и возможность подняться по лесенке. Номера уютные, комфортные, с большими кроватями и просторными лоджиями. Убирают номер каждый день, периодически оставляя на кровати фигуры их полотенец и цветов - это мило! Прекрасный вид из окна - на бассейн, Хилтон и горы... С утра очень красиво! Еда: общий ресторан со шведским столом предлагает довольно большой ассортимент блюд - есть и обычная еда, и диетическая. Завтраки как и везде довольно однообразны, но за ужином столы просто ломятся от разнообразных яств. Вино и местный алкоголь довольно противный. В лобби-баре до 23 часов готовят восхитительные коктейли. Есть рестораны аля-карт. Пляж: слева от пляжа на границе с Хилтоном интересный риф с рыбками всех оттенков радуги, необходимо предварительно запастись набором для снорклинга (можно купить на территории хилтона). Сам пляж чистый, лежаков правда хватало только тем, кто приходил к 7-8 утра. Предлагали различные активитиз в виде катания на банане и гидроциклах за плату (недешево!). Бассейны: Их тут штук 5 минимум, большие, просторные, есть бассейн для совсем малышей. У бассейна удобно расположены снек-бары. Территория: это один из самых зеленых отелей, которые я когда либо видела - не смотря на то, что находишься в пустыне - кругом зелень, пальмы, зеленый газон, по которому бегают очень смешные белоснежные уточки с утятами (дети будут в восторге) и павлины. Разбиты небольшие прудики, мостики - прелесть в общем! Экскурсии: мы брали только экскурсию в Каир - не советую! Ехать порядком 7 часов в неудобнейшем автобусе, где то душно / то жарко - сплошное мучение! У курорта в этом плане не очень удачное месторасположение для поездки в столицу. НО: в отеле говорили, что зато невероятно интересные и удобные экскурсии возят в Израиль и Иорданию! Стоит не дешево: но того стоит!
Séjour Incroyablement Infecte !
Je reviens de l'hôtel Movenpick à Taba. Tout d'abord, l'hôtel n'est pas digne d'un 5 étoiles, j'avais l'impression lorsque j'ai réservé mon séjour que j'allais m'attendre à du LUXE surtout que c'est une chaîne très connue et renommée mais arrivée dans le lieu tout bascula. L'hôtel présente beaucoup de défauts, je dirai qu'il n' y a aucun point positif, c'est pourquoi je vais vous détailler point par point afin de vous donner un aperçu de ce qui peut vous attendre. => L'animation : je commence par ce critère, franchement l'animation est pourrie, les animateurs ne vous disent même pas BONJOUR surtout qu'il n'y a aucun animateur français ils sont tous étrangers, ils ne sont pas souriants, ils ne sont pas attractifs, ils vous regardent d'un air vraiment maladroit. Aucune activité n'est proposée si ce n'est que d'entendre au moins 3 fois par jour la même danse & chanson du village " BOMBAAAAA " vraiment débile on se croirait dans un camping où on est les guignols du service.. => Le Mini club : il est payant si vous voulez mettre vos enfants, je ne comprends pas pourquoi Surtout que l'on est censé être dans du ALL iNCLUSiVE ! => Les Chambres : La climatisation est extrêmement bruyante mais ce n'est pas le plus dérangeant. Le plus dérangeant en soi surtout lorsqu'on est maniaque c'est d'habiter dans une chambre infecte dans tous les sens du terme c'est à dire : le lit pue, les draps sont remplis de poils je ne sais d'où ils sortent je ne sais s'ils sont lavés & franchement une odeur " se dégage ", le mini - bar il n'est même pas nettoyé, les fenêtres encore moins blindées de traces si c'est comme ça qu'on accueille des clients, EN FRANCE C'EST LA PORTE DiRECTE ! Quant aux serviettes elles sont remplies de traces jaunes, si l'on ne se révolte pas rien ne change surtout qu'il manque toujours quelque chose, Mais je crois comprendre que lorsqu'on est pas RUSSE on est rejeté ! => POiNT EXTRÊMEMENT iMPORTANT : L'hôtel Movenpick est Inondé de RUSSES ! Je ne comprends pas pourquoi il est présent dans les tours opérateurs français ! => La Restauration : C'est vraiment infecte. On a l'impression que nous sommes dans de la restauration " Hard discount ", on mange comme si je mangeais dans un GREC. La nourriture est toujours répétitive ça me fait rire ceux qui me disent : QUE NOUS SOMMES PAS VENUS POUR MANGER HORS QUE 1 SEMAiNE PLUS TARD iLS SE PLEiGNENT A LEUR TOUR. Les serveurs nous espionnent ce que l'on mange nous LES FRANçAiS Hors que les RUSSES SONT DES CANNiBALES, ils se goinfrent de tout ! Ils ne laissent rien, il faut donc se hâter de prendre tout dans sa table sinon croyez - moi vous restez sans rien manger, vous pouvez aussi observer que ces RUSSES sont très bien organisés étant donné qu'ils se munissent de SACS ET DE BOÎTES THERMiQUES afin d'approvisionner le maximum de nourriture (c'est vrai ça leur suffit même pas la bouffe au resto il faut encore rajouter de la masse graisseuse), Le pire c'est que personne ne branche !!! => L'hygiène du restaurant : Vraiment dégueulasse, moi -même je mettais des torchons afin de m'asseoir étant donné que les chaises " dégagent une odeur " et collent ! Les tables ne sont jamais nettoyées, elles sont blindées de traces & j'en passe. => Le Guide : Vraiment Vraiment Je ne vois pas pourquoi il a été embauché. Surtout qu'il est mou j'ai l'impression d'avoir affaire à quelqu'un qui ne sait même pas pourquoi il est devant moi, surtout qu'il ne se casse pas la tête pour venir à l'hôtel (il n'est jamais là) et il n'est même pas présent lors des transferts aéroport - hôtel & hôtel - aéroport. - Le Personnel : Il y'a des gens sympathiques & d'autres Une HORREUR ! Je vous laisse imaginer surtout lorsqu'on est français (on a une image de fauché), la plupart des gens sont tous hypocrites, ils n'attendent de vous que vous leur donniez de l'EURO ! - La Plage : Trop petite, il faut se lever tôt afin d'être sûr d'avoir sa place sinon vous vous CROYEZ A NiCE OU A DEAUViLLE, hors qu'on a payé nous nos transats et notre parasol mais aucun effort est fais, surtout n'allez pas demander aux " GUARD LiFE " ils ne seront d'aucune gentillesse toujours si vous n'êtes pas RUSSES. Vous l'aurez donc compris qu'il faut à tout prix éviter cet hôtel surtout que j'ai fais d'énormes connaissances qui se sont plaints dès leur arrivée en FRANCE afin que cet hôtel ne fasse plus partie de la CASE FRANçAiSE !
Best Way To Spend Christmas
Wow! What a fab relaxing holiday. My husband and I took our two children and we loved it. The hotel and staff where wonderful, the food amazing, rooms so clean, drinks plentiful and bottled water in your rooms every day. The pools where very clean but chilly in Dec but the beach and sea was wonderful and warm. Christmas Gala Dinner, Father Christmas on a camel, scuba diving one to one for the first time on boxing day. Batteries all charged up ready for another year of work. Thoroughly recommended. We didn't upgrade our rooms and had ground floor adjoining with a balcony with our children next door. A view of the pools and the beach across the sea to Israel with a background of the beautiful mountains.
Fantastic
Where do i start my first time in Egypt my partners fourth i was so dubious, but why did i worry. From start to finish i felt so important my partner and i were treated with such courtesy. The staff are first class from cleaners to management a tip is always appreciated. We were especially made welcome in Pharaoh's bar hello to Yoesef, Ahmed, Mahmoud and Mohammed. The entertainment staff are new, they are first class and can only get better and work very hard making sure all are involved hello to Olga, Max and Tonch. Olga's Yoga and water aerobics are so enjoyable first thing in a morning. Lenka one of the managers who you will find in reception made our stay a special one and goes out of her way to help guests. Although the gardens are not quite complete the scenery is stunning from Jordan to Isreal. we are returning very soon. Mark and Jane of Redcar, North Yorkshire.
10 / 10 The Best Hotel in Taba
All I can say is WOW. I think the previous reveiw must have stayed somewhere else!!! This hotel is wonderfull, the staff go out of there way to make your stay a happy one. From the room boys, waiters to Ian the Hotel Manager could not fault anyone. We have our favouries to name a few are Ahmed (big hugs) who we did not get chance to say goodbye to as MR Nature Travel!!! whisked us away to the airport early. Mohamed Hassan Concierge a star xx Sherif beech towels looked after so well us for two weeks The karaoke king Mr Sherif Afifi keep up the good work. Yosif behind the bar, we will miss you and the ICE!!! And all the amazing staff who looked after us. And of course Mr Ian keep up the good work your a credit to the Movenpick. We stayed in the bugalows and it was worth the extra upgrade charge. All the resturants were excellent, but of course this time of year it will tend to get busy in the main one. But this was not a problem. Lots of choice with food and drinks never had a problem finding something to eat. In all we would go back tomorrow. Just one tip to add if you are traveling with THOMSON.. dont expect a transfer to and from the hotel and there is no rep in or visits the hotel. So your on your own as they say. But the hotel will and do look after you. Made some great friends Jo, Graham, & the boys, Michelle & Carly, Chloe & Ben we enjoyed your company so much. Отдыхала в Египте впервые. Выбрала Табу Movenpick в связи c близостью Израиля и Иордании. На удивление, мне все понравилось! Прекрасный номер с видом на море на 3 этаже, каждое утро любовалась на балконе восходом солнца, а ночью-волшебным рождественским освещением территории, огнями Аккабского залива. Уборка в номере ежедневно и качественно. Ничего не пропадало. Все деньги и драгоценности рекомендовано хранить в сейфе для большей безопасности. Еда разнообразная и много. Старалась пробовать экзотические местные блюда. Если что-то было непонятно, то предупредительные повара всегда приходили на помощь. Кстати, некоторые блюда мне поначалу казались безвкусными, а оказалось, что они специально приготовлены так, а каждый добавляет соль, перец и разные специи по вкусу (они обычно находятся рядом). Чувство голода практически не наступало, часто ходила просто взять немного фруктов. Очень понравилась хорошо организованная работа reception. Особая благодарность за внимание и высокий профессионализм Mohamed Bahrawy.
Шикарный отель, очень понравился
Отдыхали в 2012 году с семьей. Далековато от аэропорта, но шикарная большая зеленая ухоженная территория. Персонал очень вышколенный, все очень вежливые, опрятные и доброжелательные. Питание очень разнообразное, официант Боб - умница, как только мы появлялись в местном ресторанчике он спрашивал где мы сядем, и мухой приносил нам с женой по пиву, а доче микс из соков. До Израиля 10 минут ходьбы, чем мы и воспользовались, о чем вообще не пожалели). Ребенку, только в отеле было нечем заняться, горки нет, русскоговорящий детей тоже не особо много было, в общем скучала она временами.
A Last Minute Break
My wife booked a last minute holiday for our family (2 adults & 2 children) via First Choice to the Movenpick 5* hotel in Taba. Generally the trip went well but here are a few of our thoughts for others consideering travelling here. We flew from Manchester on a First Choice 757 plane. At the time of booking we didnt realise and it was not made clear to us that our flight would stop at Gatwick to pick up more passengers before going onto Taba. Only a small problem but it did add about 1hr to 1hr 30 mins to the flight time each way. We found the First Choice flight to be very poor. The seating was very cramped and the inflight entertainment was quite old hat considering this was classed as a long haul flight. The meal on the plane was good and the staff tried to make the passengers as comfortable as possible by moving families around to empty seats. We view the flight as part of the holiday experience and were dissappointed with it. So much so that we will not be using this airline again. When we arrived at Taba International Airport we passed rapidly through immigration and collected our luggage. We didnt need to paid for visas as we only intended to stay in the Sinai area. Our First Choice rep then directed us to our mini bus for transfer to the resort. We were a little taken a back here but the aggressive demands for tips by airport staff for just lifting cases from the floor into the bus. We then commenced our trip to the resort. WOW...... the road through the mountains to Taba is literally breath taking. Our bus was stopped as we entered Taba to be checked by the Police (quite normal) and we then moved onto our resort. On arrival at our resort the check in staff were very helpful and efficient. We were on are way to our room within minutes with our luggage following (well done). When we got to our room however whilst it was very spacious it was obviously not big enough for our party so off to reception we went expecting a battle. The we explained to the lady behind the desk that the room only had three beds when we needed four. She offered to put another bed in the room but it would have been to cramped for us. As my wifes voice raised out of the mist came a chap called Ian Mclachlan, who we later found out was the General Manager. Ian looked at our First Choice paperwork and established that they had been told that our party was only 2 adults and 1 child (not very good First Choice). Anyway he soon sorted the problem and we moved to a larger room which met our needs (well done Ian). Our new rooms were again very spacious with a Queen size bed and two single beds in separate rooms. We had satelite TV with several english channels and a fridge. During our stay the rooms were kept spotlessly clean by Ragab. Nothing was to much trouble for the cleaning staff. My only critisism of the rooms would be that for 5* accommodation I would have expected a high spec bathroom, being all inclusive a stocked fridge (not one were we had to pay for it to be stocked). When we went to breakfast on our first morning we were surprised to fing that there were only about 60 other guests in the hotel. On the restaurant side of things - we used the main restaurant all the time because only one of the three specialist restaurants were open. We found the food to be the biggest let down for this resort as it lacked imagination and certainly didnt warrant its 5* status. The food on offer was more or less the same every day e. g. bread and butter pudding every day is a bit much. Having said this the staff were again excellent. We were surprised to have to pay for french fries as part of our meal. The beach area is naturally stoney but they have imported sand by the sun loungers. The beach snack bar was okay and the staff again helpful. We used the Pharoahs bar in the evenings for a drink or two. On the all inclusive package you could have what every local spirits you wanted and tea / coffee but surprisingly hot chocolate was payable! The childrens club facility was excellent but unfortunately the staff running it were very poor. To be fair it is a new facility and there were only a handful of kids. The hotel had a heated indoor swimming pool which was excellent. This was a favourite with the kids. Much was made of the famous Movenpick ice cream before we arrived at the resort. We were quite surprised to find out that even on the all inclusive package you had to pay for it. Come on now-hot climate - kids - all inclusive - it should be available all day if we want. All in all eventhough the Movenpick is graded as 5* we would class it as 3* to 4* as a result of all the above (particularly the food). There are lots of places to see in the world and although we initially thought we may go back again on reflection because of the negative aspects to our trip we probably wouldnt.
Climat d'insécurité insupportable
Le 5 septembre 2012, nous sommes rendus au MOVENPICK RESORT TABA BAY. Malheureusement, le 9 septembre 2012, nous avons été dans l'obligation de demander un changement d'hôtel, car le climat d'insécurité au Movenpick était devenu insupportable. En effet, alors que nous étions dans l'hôtel depuis seulement une journée, nous nous sommes retrouvés pris au piège dans une importante bagarre au bar de la plage. Celle-ci opposait les barmans du bar à quatre clients de l'hôtel. Les clients lançaient des chaises sur les barmans, un client à même sorti un couteau. Les barmans, eux, lançaient des bouteilles sur les clients. Ensuite, ils se sont battus avec des queues de billards. Une de ces bouteilles a frôlé le visage de ma compagne et j'ai juste eu le temps de l'agripper par le bras afin de fuir et d'éviter d'être blessés. Les barmans ont fait preuve d'un manque de professionnalisme évident car ils n'ont pas tenté d'éviter l'affrontement. Il est aussi à déplorable qu'il n'y avait pas d'agent responsable de la sécurité dans cet établissement. Dès le lendemain, nous sommes allés trouver l'hôtesse de Sunjets prénommée «Kathelijne» afin d'exprimer notre peur concernant le climat d'insécurité. Celle-ci a minimisé les faits, en nous disant «Cela peut arriver», «je ne suis pas responsable des agissements des clients», «si vous étiez venu le mois dernier lors de la fête du sucre, c'était bien plus grave». Nous n'étions évidement pas vraiment rassurés. Elle nous a indiqué que les clients responsables de la bagarre avaient été arrêtés et que les serveurs avaient été renvoyés. Bizarrement, ces serveurs sont réapparus après quelques jours. Le jour suivant au petit déjeuner, nous avons été une nouvelle fois les témoins d'une empoignade entre un serveur et un client. Ceux-ci en sont encore une fois venus aux mains. Le climat d'insécurité était aussi très pesant à la piscine. En effet, des clients avaient monopolisés le bar en s'asseyant sur le comptoir, empêchant les autres personnes d'avoir accès à celui-ci. Une fois de plus, une altercation a éclaté entre cette bande et un client d'origine russe. A aucun moment le personnel de l'hôtel n'est intervenu pour calmer la situation. Hormis ce climat de violence, nous avons été également les victimes de beaucoup de dysfonctionnements dans cet hôtel. Systématiquement à 12h00, il n'y avait plus de bière dans les différents bars de l'hôtel. Lorsque l'on repassait plus tard, il n'y avait plus de gobelet. Ensuite s'était la pompe qui était en panne. Tous les prétextes étaient bon pur ne pas servir les clients en «All-in». La piscine était dans un état de propreté déplorable et était infestée d'asticots. Il était très difficile d'être servis durant les petits déjeuners. A plusieurs reprises nous avons quitté la table sans être servi en café ou en lait car personne ne s'occupait de nous, même en réclamant. Après sept jours dans cet enfer, nous n'avions plus d'autre choix que de demander d'être transféré dans un autre hôtel. Une fois de plus, nous nous sommes rendu vers l'hôtesse «Sunjets», Kathelijne, qui nous a fait remplir un formulaire de notification de plainte. Elle n'était pas sensible à notre situation prétextant que le tour opérateur n'était pas responsable de la situation. J'ai eu bon insister sur le fait que nous n'étions pas la pour subir un tel stress, elle n'a pas voulu discuter. La seule manière de quitter l'hôtel était de payer un supplément, à nos frais bien sûr. Un comble !!! Nous n'avions donc pas d'autre choix que de payer un supplément de 224, 72 euros pour être transféré à l'hôtel Sofitel Taba. Un autre couple de belges, que nous avons rencontré, également terrorisé par le climat de violence qui régnait dans l'hôtel, a préféré faire comme nous et fuir cet hôtel. Les sept jours que nous avons passés, par la suite, à l'hôtel Sofitel furent un paradis par rapport à l'horreur que nous avons vécu au Mövenpick ressort.
Relaxing Holiday
Went for a week to the Movenpick Hotel on an all inclusive basis with parents and daughter. We stayed in two of the bungalows, as read reviews to say they were the best, which I think they were. However, we stayed in Bungalows A, when it would have been better to stay in Bungalows B. The reason for this is in Bungalows B, you have the beach directly in front of you and the bungalow pool is behind you, whereas Bungalows A, had the pool in front and nothing behind, bar a fenced off area. The bungalow pool was nice and quiet, the only downside was the bar man only came round once in the morning and in the afternoon to see if you wanted a drink. We did tip the towel man and the bar man $1 each time, but they didnt hassle you for a tip. We never tipped the waiters in the restaurant, as you never saw the same one. The food was okay, abit repetitive as with all inclusive hotels I think and no tummy problems to report. The entertainment wasnt great, but as we went for a very relaxing holiday, we were not that bothered. Another good thing about the bungalows was they had tvs in situ and had various english programmes and films to watch. The air conditioning also was fantastic. We went with Peltours and their rep in Taba, Iman, was very helpful. My dad went to Cairo and Petra while we were there and said Petra was by fair the best and well worth a visit. One thing you must do whilst at the Movenpick is to scuba dive or to snorkel, the water is very very clear, like english tap water. Another nice thing was to see the camels wandering around the complex, with their owners of course. The only downside was that it would have been nice if there had been a few things outside the hotel ie some shops etc, and I think in a few years there will be. The egyptian staff were all friendly, I did hear that some english people moaned as the staff didnt speak enough english, but please, those english cant speak egyptian! Its worth a visit, you wont be disappointed.

Всем добрый день! Отдыхала с подругой в этом отеле с 02.12-10.12.2013. Отель неплохой, есть с чем сравнить. Отель выбрали из-за того, что он находится очень близко к границе с Израилем. Причем, о выборе не пожалели. С нашего города чартерные рейсы до Табы не летают, поэтому посадка в Шарме и до отеля около 3, 5 часов с одной остановкой. Заселили нас последними, хотя приехали одними из первых в отель. Персонал отзывчивый, приятный в общении. Номер был просторный. Телевизор (из русских каналов Первый), фен все работало. Терраса просторная, номер выходил на здание, где находился крытый бассейн. Комары в номере были, но только в первый день, потом они куда-то исчезли))) нас это факт очень порадовал. Уборка каждый день, все чисто и аккуратно. Фен, шампунь, бальзам для волос, гель для душа, мыло пополняется по мере использования. Сейф в номере бесплатный. И еще, чтоб зарядить телефон, планшет в номере у вас не чего не получится. Заряжать надо на ресепшен или при включенном свете в номере!!!!!!!! Может быть это только нам так " повезло " !!!!! Мальчик, убиравший в номере, был достаточно приветлив, постоянно при встрече в коридоре говорил «хеллоу», «добрый день» и улыбался. Территория отель большая, по сравнению с соседним отелем - Хилтоном. Есть где погулять, пофоткаться. Много зелени, мостики, ручейки, водопадики. Были в соседнем Хилтоне - там территория во много раз меньше. Народу в отеле на момент нашего отдыха было немного, так что в ресторане всегда были свободные столики, а на пляже всегда можно было найти для себя место в тени. Питание не плохое.. Каждый день супы, мясо, курица, рыба, различные салаты, гарниры, овощи, фрукты, очень вкусная выпечка, разные пирожные и торты, несколько сортов хлеба. Спиртные напитки разные, но сносные: вино, коктейли, виски, ром. Хороший крытый бассейн с джакузи (можно пользоваться). Работает с 8 утра до 18 вечера. Пришли, попросили. Вам включили. Наслаждайтесь!!!! Здесь есть и раздевалка с душем и шампунем. После джакузи и бассейна можно принять душ. Море чистое, рыб много, но кораллов мало. Пляж прекрасный))) Нам с погодой повезло, купались каждый день. Около нас иногда проходили аниматоры, сотрудники спа-салона. Если первые ограничивались предложениями своих услуг, то последние бывали весьма назойливы, не обращая внимания на наш «многодневный» загар и на то, что уже безрезультатно подходили к нам не один раз. Если начать их слушать или что-то уточнять, то могут очень долго показывать прайс и рассказывать на ломаном русском о прелести спа-процедур. Если же сразу дать от ворот поворот, то это их весьма сильно обижает. Как вариант, можно покивать, сказать, что нет денег или что подумаем. Хотя может эти процедуры кому-то и нужны - как говорится, на вкус и цвет... Wi-Fi есть, но работает с перебоями. Ловили Wi-Fi, как и на пляже и в холе около ресепшен. В баре на пляже очередей не было, на момент нашего нахождения в отеле. Да, и еще в баре только напитки. Если барменам мило поулыбаться, и поговорить с ними, все ты их лучший друг до конца отпуска. Вечером, возле рецепшен можно насладиться игрой на гитаре. Отдельное спасибо нужно сказать аниматорам отеля. Так как выйти из отеля некуда, то из развлечений остаются магазинчики в Хилтоне и анимация. Ребята развлекали, как могли. Да, и днём с ними было веселее. Анимация начинается в 10.00 с гимнастики. Потом волейбол, затем аква-аэробика в море в 11.30. В 12.00 анимация закачивается и начинается только в 15.00. Где-то 15.30 проводят танец живота, чуть позже волейбол. Группа анимации не навязчивая, очень активная. Вечером, детская анимация с 20.30, взрослая с 21.30. Было интересно, каждый день тематические вечера. Самый активный директор анимационной группы это Хама (Hama))))))) вообще молодец, такое ощущение, что его одного можно поставить, и он один будет развлекать гостей. Hama - ты наш кумир))) Около сцены, где проходит анимация, есть пара лавок. В одной из них продают масла. Продавец в этой лавке очень нервный. При мне был случай, к нему зашли девушки, чтоб купить определенное масло, но он им завысил цены, и они покупать не чего у него не стали. Так вот, после того как они ушли, он начал их при нас оскорблять, после услышанного и у меня желание пропало что-либо у него купить, и мы ушли. Когда уходили, обернулись в сторону этой лавки, так он там швырял свои пузырьки. Мой отдых попал на День рождения. Набор поздравлений стандартный. Шарики в номере и торт. Да и еще, в день отъезда браслеты срезают в 12.00, как и везде. После этого уже не имеешь права пользоваться услугой «все включено». Т. к. наш автобус забрал нас только в 16.00 из отеля, а номер мы сдали в 12.00, нам было запрещено пообедать. Конечно, можно заплатить 12-14 долларов за обед и спокойно покушать. Мы заранее договорились с бараманами на пляже, чтоб, после того как нам срежут браслеты они нам наливали чай, кофе)))) Отдельно им за это человеческое спасибо!!! Про экскурсию. Брали экскурсию в Иерусалим на 1 день у Ахмеда. Цена в 2 раза дешевле, чем таже самая экскурсия от Пегаса. Он находится за территорией отеля. Если поспрашивать у продавцов на базаре в отеле Хилтон, то они позвонят и проведут к нем. Также можно и самим его найти. В целом отдых прошел замечательно. Отель рекомендую. Собираемся туда еще раз!!!!!!
Отличный отдых
Прежде, чем выбрать этот отель, начиталась в и-нете разных нелестных отзывов о нем. Поэтому заезжали в отель с опаской. Но первое, что услышали, развеяло все сомнения. Многие писали, что за хороший номер надо вложить в паспорт купюру и тогда будет тебе счастье.)) Подойдя к стойке ресепшен к менеджеру, не успела я открыть рот, чтобы высказать свои пожелание, как он (зовут этого парня Мохамед, у него всегда улыбка до ушей))) опередил меня- " Мадам-Хороший номер? " Ну конечно, что же я еще могу попросить.))) Опять же улыбчивый консьерж донес (не попросив бакшиш) вещи до номера. Показал нам номер, т. к. не работал сейф, тут же вызвал мастера. Возможно, кого- то раздражает, как в предыдущем отзыве, что персонал много улыбается, и спрашивает, как дела, но что в этом плохого?? Это же здорово! Улыбка может открыть много дверей. Наши сограждане подходят к персоналу с хмурыми лицами, что же они могут услышать в ответ приятного. Питание в ресторане нас поразило своим разнообразием. Очень порадовало, что в меню присутствует много овощей и фруктов. Я даже сбросила пару килограммов, хотя бывало, что переедала. Все приготовлено из свежих продуктов. В зале почти всегда присутствовал шеф-повар, который следил за работой подчиненных, иногда рекомендовал отдыхающим то или иное блюдо. Кстати, знакомые из соседнего Хилтона жаловались, что у них скудный ассортимент в ресторане. На столах всегда чисто, грязную посуду убирают моментально, параллельно сервируя освободившиеся места. У Мовенпика огромный собственный пляж. Говорят, что сюда приходят загорать из Хилтона и даже из израильского Эйлата (сама видела, у 2х ближних к границе отелей крошечные пляжи с гравием). Многие туристы выбирают Табу из-за возможности посещения экскурсий в Израиль и Иорданию. Мы ездили через Пегас-Туристик. Они заменили своих отельных менеджеров и сейчас там работают две девушки- Нина и Марина. Если про предыдущего, Мохамеда писали разные страсти, что у него дело доходило до драки, если выбирали экскурсию через другое агентство, то эти 2 милые девушки, спокойные, наверно, Марина даже чересчур. В последний день она подвела меня своей неосведомленностью. Мы заказали экскурсию через местное агентство, что по стоимости от пегасовского отличалось на целую сотню долларов. Когда сели в автобус, то оказалось, что у все покупали экскурсии у разных агентств, а принимающая сторона в Израиле оказалась одна-Apple tour. Спрашивается- зачем платить дороже?! Кстати, в соседнем Хилтоне есть магазин, вы все равно туда пойдете за покупками, потому что там всё намного дешевле, чем в мовенпиковских магазинчиках, в1м же магазинчике, хозяина зовут Саша, он копт и имя его Ицхак (или другой Майкл), организует эти же экскурсии по низкой цене, и продает освященные иконы дешевле, чем в магазинах, куда вас привезет гид. Про гидов на израилевской стороне отдельная история, они все подвязаны к определенным торговым точкам, с которых гиды имеют проценты с продаж, и цены там отнюдь не самые дешевые (сама видела, как нашему отсчитывали в конце продаж купюры). Вас обязательно привезут в центр Премьер на Мертвом море. И их сотрудница вам буде рассказывать сказки, что прежде, чем зайти в море, обязательно необходимо намазаться грязью, которую они продают, иначе вы получите ожоги слизистых. И потом «Обязательно» надо намылиться их же мылом и смыть соль с тела. И стоит это удовольствие вместе 35 $. Которые вы сможете потратить по уму и с пользой. Наша группа вся в полном составе просто облилась водой под душем, который стоял тут же на берегу. Никто не ощутил никакого жжения. Насчет сухих завтраков, можно на ресепшен смело просить сухпайки перед экскурсиями, неважно, через своих туроператоров вы едете или через местных. Пайки дают. Другой вопрос хватит ли вам этой еды. Лучше набрать во время ужина в пакетик. В номерах прибираются ежедневно, но бакшиш мы клали по 1$ через день, когда ездили в 2х дневную экскурсию, просто вешали на ручку табличку «Не беспокоить». Если открыть на ночь балконную дверь, то налетят комары, (у меня до сих пор ноги в красный горошек)), в этом случае попросите уборщика обработать номер от «москитос», он обрызгает аэрозолью. После этого на ночь мы включали кондиционер. Обязательно купите специальную обувь перед тем, как зайти в море. Там кишмя кишат морские ежи, мой приятель в первый же свой заход в воду наколол ногу. Пришлось обращаться к медику. 30 $ франшиза, деньги совсем не лишние. Тапки можете купить и в своем отеле, но в Хилтоне нам 2 пары обошлись дешевле. 11 дней пролетели быстро, очень жаль было уезжать, Т. к. еще не были в Петре, есть вероятность, что еще вернемся сюда. Одним словом, отель отличный, рекомендую.
Superb Hotel / Staff
From arrival to departure we were treated superbly and made to feel comfortable and very welcome. Having stayed at many destinations worldwide (mainly 4 & 5 star hotels) and several Movenpick hotels, it is rare to see top management really getting involved with their guests to ensure the perfect stay. The hotel is new and fresh although not fully complete (i. e. sauna / spa some landscaping etc) Ian the General Manager assured us that this would be completed very shortly. The standard rooms we saw looked very good however we felt that the upgrade to the bungalows was worth it. We stayed in the bungalows and they are spacious, modern and immaculate (well done housekeeping!). The location of the bungalows are a little more exclusive having their own well maintained pool areas. If you have a problem while staying at this hotel tell them if it can be resolved they will do it DO NOT WAIT until you return to England and moan on the website its too late !!! We had a very pleasant time at the Movenpick Taba.
Fantastic hotel with exceptional staff
The hotel and location are lovely - good hotel, great view, lovely sea. However, what made this hotel really special was the staff. They were exceptional. They made us so very welcome. During our stay my daughter became very sick (with a undiagnosed illness that she has before she left the UK). The staff worked so hard to get her into hospital and make her (and us) comfortable. I am not sure what we would have done without them. Every member of the team from the General Manager to the guys who service your rooom were really special. If you want a beautiful place to stay, great people and a good beach them this is the place for you.

Здрвствуйте! отдыхали в отеле семьей из трех человек с 30.06. по 13.07.2013 года. Отель находится в 4-х часах езды от Шарм-эль-Шейха. Приехали в 21.30. Заселили сразу. Номер дали с видом на горы и на китайский ресторан. Номер достаточно просторный. Убирались каждый день. У отеля огромная территория, зеленая, ухоженная. Есть искусственная речка. Заход в море-мелкие камни, лучше в специальной обуви. на границе с отелем Хилтон есть коралловый риф. Можно поплавать с маской. Пляж большой, всегда были свободные лежаки. Питание хорошее, из фруктов много апельсинов, фиников, яблок, иногда бывает арбуз. Соков нет в главном ресторане, но они есть в баре на пляже и в баре Фараон, который находится возле ресэпшн. Анимация очень понравилась. Каждый день с 10 утра были разные развлекательные мероприятия: аэробика, танец живота, волейбол, акваэробика. Ежедневно в 21.30 проходили тематические вечера. Вообщем, скучать не давали. Отель находится на границе с Израилем. Мы ездили на экскурсию в Иерусалим и Иорданию. Также пешком ходили в израильский город Эйлат в океанариум. Он находится в 20 минутах ходьбы от отеля. Вообщем, отель можно рекомендовать для тихого спокойного отдыха!!!если будут какие-то вопросы, можно написать по эл. почте nastya-nn88@mail. ru
Sun, sea, sand and relaxation
My family and I spent a wonderful week at the Movenpick Taba. After booking our holiday & subsequently reading a number of reviews, I was a bit apprehensive at staying at this hotel. However, all concerns were cast aside once we arrived. The staff are all friendly and attempt to make your stay enjoyable as best they can. We never encountered any problems with the food, but it did become a little repetitive after the fourth day. But, what more do you expect from mass catering. A brilliant option given is to utilise one of the three onsite restaurants as an alternative to the hotel's restaurant - a cost can be incurred depending on whether or not you opt for the A La Carte or Set Menu of the day. Our room was clean and comfortable for our family - we were 3 x adults and 1 x infant. The hotel provided a cot in the room without me having to request one. The water quality in the pool remained at an excellent level all through our stay. Other guests have informed me that resorts such as Sharm El Sheikh are far more commercialised than Taba so don't expect much as there's absolutely nothing outside of the hotel's grounds. If you are looking to get away from it all, then this is the place to be. I'd definitely go back again.

Właśnie wróciliśmy w tygodniowego pobytu w tym hotelu (przełom marca / kwietnia). Ogólne wrażenia bardzo dobre :) Był to nasz trzeci pobyt w Egipcie, ale pierwszy w Tabie. Hotel jest dość duży ale nie z rodzaju molochów. Posiada ogromny teren w którym mieści się budynek główny, piękny ogród ze stawem i strumykiem, 2 baseny i 2 brodziki, kilka barów, restauracje itd. Całość jest zadbana i czysta. Goście w różnym wieku, w okresie świątecznym w jakim byliśmy było dużo dzieci. Najwięcej Palestyńczyków (i być może innych narodowości arabskich), sporo Polaków, Rosjan, trochę francuzów i innych. Położenie Hotel położony bezpośrednio przy dużej plaży. Transfer z lotniska zajmował ok.45 minut (po drodze zahaczaliśmy o hotel Sol Y Mar). Warto dodać że samo lotnisko znajduje się wyżej w górach i jest tam dużo chłodniej. Gdy wysiada się z samolotu i liczy na uderzenie gorąca które zwykle jest w Egipcie to można sie nieźle rozczarować (na lotnisku ok.9 rano było zaledwie 13 stopni więc byliśmy nieco przerażeni ale już przy hotelu temperatura znacznie wyższa, od 27-35 stopni) Hotel mieści się w miejscowości Taba Village tuż przy granicy z Izraelem (dosłownie tuż obok). Normalnym widokiem są tam spacerujące po drodze wielbłądy i osiołki :) Sama miejscowość to wioska więc na jakieś atrakcje nie należy liczyć. Ale jest mimo to cudnie. Hotel otoczony jest przepięknie górami i sam jego teren jest naprawdę piękny tak więc mimo iż okolica jest nieciekawa odważyłam się przyznać mu 6 gwiazdek. Hotel leży bliziuteńko granicy z Izraelem (ale osobiście nie wybraliśmy sie na indywidualny spacer do Izraela bo przekraczanie jej jest dość uciążliwe). Obok znajduje się hotel Hilton (polecamy wybrać się tam na zakupy; można przejść bezpośrednio z Movenpicka), mają aż 45 sklepów z naprawdę dobrymi cenami! Hotel jest też dobrze zlokalizowany jeśli chodzi o wycieczki fakultatywne. My byliśmy w Jerozolimie i w Kolorowym Kananie. Obie super, naprawdę warto się wybrać :) Obsługa Nie mamy jakiś zastrzeżeń. Personel uprzejmy, nie nachalny. Można sie dogadać po angielsku a nawet po polsku. Co do sprzątania pokoju to chyba zależy jak się trafi. My chyba trafiliśmy nie najlepiej, co wcale nie znaczy że źle bo wszystko było ok, ale naszemu panu pokojowemu zdarzały się jakieś małe niedociągnięcia w sprzątaniu a znajomi mieli takiego, który co dzień robił im jakieś cudeńka z ręczników itd. Gastronomia Oj i to najsłabszy punkt tego hotelu : ( Nie jest źle ale bywało lepiej w innych hotelach. Jedzenie smaczne ale wybór (w porównaniu do innych hoteli w jakich byliśmy) dość mały. Mankamentem jest też duża ilość gości z dziećmi (szczególnie Palestyńczyków) w restauracji głównej przez co robi się gwarno i panuje troszkę chaos. Bardzo trudno o łyżeczki :D W opcji All mogliśmy też zjeść " lekki lunch " w restauracji Sea Shells i tam było już zdecydowanie spokojniej i przyjemniej. Mimo to że wyżywienie nie powalało nie chodziliśmy głodni (a wprost przeciwnie) i nie mieliśmy tez jakiś problemów żołądkowych. Tak więc czepialscy będą się czepiać ale my specjalnie się tym nie przejmowaliśmy bo po co sobie psuć wakacje? Wiemy, że w Egipcie jedzenie jest zupełnie inne i wielbiciele steków i kotletów nigdy nie będą tam bardzo ustatysfakcjonowani :) Dla nas ok :) Sport i rozrywka W hotelu są sympatyczni animatorzy Polscy z Itaki (5 osób) i team międzynarodowy. Łącznie chyba 9 osób. Prowadzą codziennie siatkówkę, stretching, belly dance, aerobik, rzutki, bule itd. Wieczorem mini disco i show w wykonaniu animatorów. Trochę problem z internetem bo jest tylko w specjalnym Business roomie i to za opłatą.... ale.... polak potrafi i powiem tylko tyle, że wszystko da się obejść i właściwie korzystaliśmy bezpłatnie :D hehe Jeśli chodzi o plażę to należy wspomnieć, że wcale nie jest ona piaszczysta tak jak to zapewnia Itaka (już drugi raz przekonałam się że Itaka albo kłamie w tej kwestii albo nie zna plaż przy oferowanych przez siebie hotelach). Nazwałabym ja raczej piaszczysto-kamienistą, co widać na moich zdjęciach. Jest piękna i duża, z palmami, piasek owszem jest w części " leżakowej " ale w linii brzegowej i w wodzie przeważająca ilość kamyków. Buty do wody są przydatne. Zaraz przy hotelu (mniej więcej na styku hotelu Movenpick i Hiltona) jest piękna rafa. Nie jesteśmy jakimiś starymi wyjadaczami raf ale jak dla nas była naprawdę super. Całkiem spora, jeszcze stosunkowo niezniszczona i można było spotkać mnóstwo pięknych, kolorowych ryb, więc prawie każdego dnia snurkowaliśmy z zachwytem. Polecamy! Baseny również super. Jeden duży z pool barem (w nim nawet jacuzzi) + brodzik, drugi mały spokojny i obok również brodzik. Nie było problemu ze znalezieniem wolnych leżaków i parasoli. Prysznice są i przy basenach i przy plaży. Pokój Bardzo ładny i ogromny pokój, z wielkim tarasem. My mieliśmy opcje bez widoku na morze ale i tak widok był rewelacyjny bo za oknem rozpościerały się góry. Łazienka też ok, no może mogła by być ciut lepsza (np większa wanna z ładniejszą zasłonką by się przydała). Oczywiście jak sie komuś nudzi to zacznie robić zdjęcia fug (czego nie jestem w stanie zrozumieć) ale naszym zdaniem pokój duży, jasny, ładny, dobrze wyposażony, wszystko sprawne, czysty. Codziennie dostawaliśmy dwie butelki wody. Reszta w barku płatna. Sejf darmowy. W TV dość dużo programów, również Polonia. Polecamy: -wycieczki do Jerozolimy+Betlejem+Morze Martwe (ale nie jest to wycieczka do Częstochowy! Na granicy należy uzbroić się w cierpliwość, noce zarwane przez podróż więc po tej wycieczce na drugi dzień byliśmy bardziej zmęczeni niż po całonocnej imprezie :D) - snurkowanie na przy hotelowej rafie, - shopping w sklepikach w Hiltonie Trochę gryzą komary, ale bez paniki, nie jakoś strasznie. Mnie ugryzło kilka a męża ani jeden. Nie polecamy imprezowiczom bo w hotelu nie ma dyskoteki a okolica tez raczej mało imprezowa.

une merveilleuse semaine!
Nous revenons d'un séjour à Taba à l'hôtel Movenpick. Nous en sommes revenus heureux! Très bel hôtel, le personnel est très prévoyant et sympathique même si nous ne sommes pas parfaits bilingues anglais. Les chambres sont très belles, soignées et très spacieuses. Nous ne souffrions pas de la chaleur grâce à une clim en PARFAIT état. Pour le resto, pas de problème: nous ne comprenons pas les remarques lues dans certains commentaires!!! Un buffet reste un buffet, il y avait des pâtes, du riz, des pommes de terre, des crudités en abondance, un buffet de pain délicieux et de nouvelles préparations de poulet ou viande tout les jours. La plage et la piscine sont magnifiques: grandes, spacieuses et PROPRES. Il y a des transats à profusion! Nous recommandons aussi les soins au spa, d'un grand professionalisme!!! On y retournera c'est certain! Surtout ne croyez pas ces commentaires non constructifs postés sur ce site par de véritables frustrés et éternels insatisfaits!!!!!!!!!

В этом отеле мы с мужем отдыхали в январе 2014г. Получили удовольствие!!!! Если ваша цель отдохнуть от суеты, шума, магазинов, то вам сюда. Отель расположен на границе с Израилем и если есть желание можно самому (без всяких экскурсий) переходить границу и побывать в Израиле!!! Рядом с гостиницей особо ничего нет, только отель Хилтон так, что гулять особо не куда. Территория отеля достаточно большая, можно отдыхать никуда не выходя из отеля. Хороший пляж, большой с прекрасным входом и с большим количеством лежаков. Зимой бассейном никто не пользовался, но он большой и при желании можно отдыхать и возле него. Номера тоже хорошие, просторные, чистые и воду приносят каждый день. На территории отеля есть фитнес клуб с массажным салоном и хамам, хоть он и не большой, но уютный. Кормили достаточно вкусно и разнообразно. Единственный минус этого отеля долгий трансфер из аэропорта около четырех часов.
