Worst buger ever
I don't live near a Whatabuger so I really look forward to going to one when I can. We were in Orange Beach Ala. so we drove to Foley to eat at this one. This was the worst one I have ever ate at. The buger had one pickle, no onion, no tomato and big chunk of lettuce told had a senior discount didn't put it on bill. It was so slow all the workers were playing around. Would not advise you to eat her
Keep your food!!!
We ordered 2 meals, but instead of getting sodas, we wanted to change the sodas to milk shakes, so instead of doing an upcharge for the shakes they charged us the full price for the meals, and the full price for the milkshakes. When we got to the window I asked why, and they said it was the way they did things. So when I asked for the cokes that went with the meals she said no. So what was a girl to do.. We drove away. Didn't pay $33 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 regular milkshakes. They are ridiculous.
Good food, awful staff. Your order will NOT meet your expectations
The food at Whataburger has always been good but this particular location is poorly staffed and managed making the whole experience awful. I order 4 meals and only 1 of 4 was made correctly. The young people working at the restaurant were more concerned with talking to their friends who worked there and their friends who came to eat there than actually doing the jobs they are getting paid for. After finding that food was missing from my order and other food was prepared incorrectly, I was never even offered a simple apology for their numerous mistakes. It was clear that the workers did not care. Worst managed Whataburger I have ever been to and I will not be back. This location does not do the franchise justice.

Skip this Whataburger
The full breakfast menu wasn't visible and when I asked about the usual breakfast platter I typically order, the person taking my order didn't know if they had it and had to go ask someone else (she appeared to be a new employee and she went overboard to compensate for all our problems). I was able to order the breakfast platter. My husband ordered a side of gravy which didn't arrive with our order. When we asked about it, we were told they couldn't find the gravy 🤔 My daughter also ordered 2 sides of gravy and was told the same thing, but received a refund. We also waited over 15 min for our order to arrive at our table and a roach crawled up the wall beside our table while we were eating. We have only visited the Whataburger in Panama City and our experiences there have always been great. It was disappointing to recommend to our whole family to go eat breakfast at the Whataburger in Foley, AL today as we were heading home from vacation because it ended up being a bad experience. Since it was the first ever visit for my two kids and their family, I doubt they will make a return visit to any Whataburger. My hubs and I will definitely revisit other Whataburgers in the future based on our good experiences in the past.
Avoid this place
Worst experience ever. Almost an hour to receive our food. No explanation, no apology. No management staff to explain or help the situation. Just completely ignore all of us who waited a long time for food. And there were a lot of us this afternoon. Not even a response from the Whataburger complaint / feedback form. Never going back and would advise you to never go there as well. So many other choices available.
Good burger
Never been here, none where we live, burgers were hot, nice portions, was crowded and a tad slow, but not a bad fast food burger.
Awful experience!
I love Whataburger but I just had a terrible experience at the one in Foley, Al. The cashier was so rude. They were out of all drinks except Powerade, lemonade, and unsweetened tea. They had no spicy ketchup. There was not a clean table in the dining room. A woman had a medical emergency and none of the staff even asked if they needed anything while waiting on the ambulance. I at least saw five people come in to say they were missing something in their bag. Then, I found a hair in my fries and the bun was stale! They were busy, but not any more than usual. It is Sunday at 3:30, not a rush hour.
Racial
Be careful here. They are racist against white people. They called the police on me for an absurd reason. Just disagreed with them on an issue pertaining my order.
Great service!
The lady at the front told us they were short staffed and what the wait would be. They were all working super hard and so nice! I usually think it's silly to leave a review for fast food but these people need some appreciation!! Lamekia was our cashier ❤
Poor customer service
Placed mobile order 67198990 at 7:21pm. Arrived at 7:35pm. No one came to vehicle. Went inside restaurant. Saw my name on the order screen hi-lighted in red with the timer at almost 30 minutes marked as " Arrived " and " Parking spot # 1 " indicated. Saw the mobile order sitting on the counter. Saw restaurant associates look several times at the receipt taped to the bag and I could overhear them taking about how it's been close to 30 minutes. I overheard one of the restaurant associates Jaylen / Jaylin (sp?) say " I'm not taking that order outside, you see these people in line? They can come in here and get it. " Hearing that was very unprofessional and quite frustrating. Another one of Jaylin / Jaylen (sp?) coworkers was practicing some sort of TikTok dance waiting on some fries by the fryer right next to the completed mobile order still just sitting there. Once it was my turn in line it was almost 8pm, and I notified Jaylin / Jaylen (sp?) that I was the person hi lighted in red on the screen for curbside. I received the food order and was handed 3 empty cups, I proceeded to fill the drinks and left very unsatisfied with the customer service experience I had received.
So slow
I've never seen a drive-thru so slow in my life. One hour wait with 4-5 cars in line should never happen. Literally so slow it's probably intentional. Ridiculous
Always a delight to visit Whataburger
Came in to grab a quick bite to eat. As always it was super busy but the service was quick and the food was very hot. When I come to town to visit family I always stop in here several times.
It's Whataburger!
Despite growing up in Texas and understanding the difference in quality fast food quality and service, this Whataburger didn't fail to live up to my expectations. The service was friendly and the burger was typical-Whataburger-good!
First time eating here
Long wait but the burgers were very good. It was drive-thru only at the time we were there. I would differently go back if I am in the area again.
Best fast food burger
We have tried all the fast food burger places and this is by far the best burger! It is big and so tasty! Fries were also really good. We will look for Whataburger on future travels since we don't have them near us.

Excellent food as always at Whataburger. Their quality, value and service far exceed other fast food hamburger chains. I wish we had a Whataburger near our home.

My most favorite burger, ever since I was a kid
Love this place, do not have one in the city where I live but that is changing soon. One will be coming in the near future to where I live. I just can't wait. I always eat here when I am in town.
Long lines that move fast
Long lines due to the current situation with Covid and being short staffed like most places but moves fast and my large offer was correct both times. I like that they individually bag each person's order making it easy to check. Burgers, fries and grilled chicken sandwich all fresh, hot and good. Friendly workers.
Order was wrong
I understand if you made my order wrong, but don't blame it on the delivery app because I have the receipt from you not them. You need to learn how to take ownership in your mistakes. Do not use an app for delivery because when Whataburger gets your order wrong (not app), you lose money. The app will step up and take ownership, even though it wasn't them. I'll continue to use the app, just not with Whataburger.
May be American food but it ain't fast food
They are as slow as molasses in January in New York, we went through the drive through and ordered two bacon egg biscuits and I could have killed the pig and made the bacon by the time it took to get my order.

We had to try this place while we were here to see what all the hype was about. The line was one of the longest lines we had to wait in but the food was worth it.
Never fail
Great burgers for a long ride, actually better than the one closer to our home. Mobile order was the way to go for our curbside pickup as Covid-19 kept us from dining in, but Whataburger is the best to go burger 🍔 hands down
Great burger
It had been many, many years since we had been in a locale with a Whataburger restaurant. It did not disappoint! The burgers and fries were as good as we remembered from 40 years ago. The restaurant was clean and the employees very well trained. It was a busy Sunday night and we waited quite a while for our food so I gave it 4 stars. It was a trip down memory lane that was very much enjoyed!
Awesome Burger!!
This was my 1st time ever eating here last week, and I have to say I was impressed! Great Tasting Burger! Fries were good as well! Wish there was one of these back at my home town. Would Recommend anyone to eat here!
Food was great!
Got there right as churches let out so it was crowded. Place was packed. Food was good. Junior bacon cheeseburger was awesome! Friendly people. Easy to get to from the highway.
Enjoyable plasce to eat
I go there several times a week. The service, food and atmosphere are all great. They treat you like they actually want you to be there. The food is brought to your table and a tray of condiments is also brought so you can choose from many items and not have to go looking for them. The music is nice and the place is always clean.
Very friendly and great food
This company is very creative. Always something new. Hamburgers are delicious. I really like that employees bring condiments around to you. Very friendly crew.
Not the usuaql burger joint
Whataburger charges a little more, but you get more. The burgers outshine those found at most fast food places, and they generally have one or more special flavors / toppings that bring new eating pleasure to the burger world. The only disappointment I experienced was the french fries, they were quite ordinary. I had hoped for something a little more jazzy to complement a very good burger.
Breakfast was so-so
Ate breakfast, the potato sticks were cold, the honey chicken biscuit was small pieces of chicken and not much honey butter. A little dry too. Wife's pancakes were average.

The burgers are The Best and very big. We left feeling stuffed! Price was fair, too. Very busy at lunchtime.

The food was good just the burger was just a little dry the fries was good and it was high but atleast they have kids meals I much prefer five guys but they don't have kids meals

We always stop here in or out of Orange Beach. They have never disappointed and continue to have great customer service.
Consistent goodness and budget friendly
One of the highlights of any trip south is a visit to Whataburger. This location is as consistently good as all the others (the same can't be said of other chains in the Foley area). Pig out on the best burgers ever, shakes, fries, etc. and still have money left for the trip to the beach tomorrow. Should probably eat here every night of the trip!
OBA visit 2019
Love to visit Whataburger any chance I get. Great customer service regardless of being super busy. It's Whataburger so it's worth the wait.
Good burgers and friendly staff
Came here for dinner and dined in like many other families. The young people employed here get customer service. I made sure to commend them to the manager on duty. As we were leaving the area for home the next morning I wanted to stop again for lunch but was told by a guy returning to his car without food that it was a " mad house inside " with a line out the door. I'm glad we got to eat here at least once on our trip.
Sloooooow drive thru, great burgers
My wife and I LOVE coming here for a GREAT burger as always. Not sure what's happened recently, but our last 2 visits (drive thru's) have been a disaster!! I really hate giving them a bad review because their food is always EXCELLENT, but something needs to be done. Both of our last 2 visits, we were no more than 3 cars deep and were in line well over 20 mins each time. The car in front of us on our last visit, got their drinks... waited on their food... and was told they gave it to someone else... so they drove off! The server at the window told us that happened. Drive thru is horrid, but FOOD IS DELICIOUS.
Whataburger... Yummy!!!
After a long drive to Alabama, we stopped here for a quick bite. Whataburger is something I always look forward to when we come to the coast. This stop did not disappoint. The service was friendly and the food was fresh. The tables could use a little cleaning, but overall, good stop for lunch.
Really Really Good!
My wife and I visited this restaurant to give it a try. We had never been here before. The menu was extensive and the prices were decent. We did not have to wait long for our food. Excellent tasting food! We will more than likely stop here again.
Fast Food - it's what it is!
I usually have the (not) Patty Melt and my husband usually has a double burger. The only problem I have is that a true patty melt should be served on rye bread. I'm not sure most places that serve them know that. The sourdough is OK, but it would be so much better if Whataburger could find rye to make it right. The onion rings are greasy but the fries are decent. It will be awhile before we eat fast food again, but when we do, it's usually Whataburger.
Good food and awesome shakes!!
Every time we vacation in foley, we drop in to eat at What A Burger. Our food is always hot and good. The service is great but it can be a little busy. The staff was nice and friendly. It was a overall good visit. This was on Easter weekend.
Disappointed
Had never eaten here so I was anxious to try it. The onion rings were good but the burger was just ok.
Average... been to better
Food was an expected, but fries were a bit undercooked. Floors were dirty.. needed a good sweep. Whataburger is always good... but it's a bummer when you dont feel like its clean.
Went Through thr Drive Though, Whata Mistake
This was our first time at a Whataburger, got in the drive through line which was full of cars. After a few minutes we placed our order specifying what we wanted on our burgers and ordered french fries and a milk shake. After about 15 minutes in line we finally got to the food window. the fries were cold, the hamburgers were luke warm, both hamburgers were wrong, had double cheese on the one we ordered with no cheese and triple cheese on the one we ordered with cheese. The rest of the condiments were mostly wrong. The burgers had good flavor once we corrected, and the shake was good. We will never go through their drive through again but, we might try going inside if we get really adventurous.
A Hankerin' for Whataburger
When the craving hits, this location has never let us down. Burgers are big and delish (my understanding is that they're fresh, never frozen, pure beef), with a good amount of toppings, but could be a bit juicier. Onion rings are excellent, possibly the best of any other fast food restaurant. Really like the mushroom swiss burger, and the chicken taco is a good little change-up. The folks at the window have always been smiling and appear to enjoy their jobs. Prices are a little high, but that's typical for the times. If you're looking for something other than the standard burger-fries-pop, they do have a couple salads on the menu, plus apple slices, milk, chicken, grilled cheese -- and breakfast, too (we have not tried those options yet). Open 24 hours. There's also a Whataburger app for paying, rewards, etc.
Sunday Funday
If You are looking for a clean family fun place to eat with the friendliest cashier in the south go see Henry in Foley. This dude will get your order right and then bring it out with a smile. This place is always clean and the food is always hot. Make sure to stop in. # sbawesome

1st time eating here the burger and fries was really good... boyfriend has biscuits & gravy said it was really good as well.. burger are good size.. will be back
Wanta burger
We stopped in here before shopping. Everyone wanted some breakfast, so we stopped in for food & coffee. This place was clean, the counter staff was friendly. They worked with everyone waiting on their purchase and / or needing some silverware or condiments. We enjoyed our meal while discussing our places of shopping after leaving there.
Hurricane Michael 2018
Ate here twice on vacation, spoke to the manager on first visit and he remembered me on the second. Food was hot and fresh, love the spicy ketchup, staff was friendly and efficient in serving and order taking. I've eaten at a number of Whataburgers in Texas and this one was just as good.
Typical Fast Food
We went there because we shopped at Lowes and in a hurry. We both had a burger. The waite staff was very friendly. The burgers were warm but overcooked and lacking in flavor and the fries were fr from crisp. For a fast food burger joint they are not bad. Me I will spend a few dollars more the next time and go to 5 Guys
New Favorite Fast Food
Had never been to a Whataburger but my hubby saw the commercial for some bacon ranch chicken strip thing so went.... That was amazing but the real winner are the chicken fajita wraps - so hot, fresh and healthy!! LOVE IT!
Oh honey!
Whataburger's honey butter chicken biscuit is so delicious!!! I can't believe I'm just now trying one. They start serving them at 11pm and they are open 24 hours. The next time my friends are in town I will definitely pick a bag of chicken biscuits up.
Breakfast
Love that they serve breakfast and lunch in the morning. We have grabbed a quick breakfast here the past two mornings and it was great. The cinnamon rolls are awesome and the customer service was great too. Definitely recommend.
Great Food - Hot and Fresh
Since they opened we have been in to eat and have " never " had a problem! Now they are not going to cook your choices till you order but the wait is always a minimum- The burgers always come with onions and mustard, so if you want it another way be sure and tell them- Fries and shakes are out of sight!
Good lunch
I love the Whataburger chain and we don't have one where I live, so eating at a Whataburger is usually always a treat for me and my family. This restaurant did not disappoint. It was great. My burger and fries were awesome and my family like their food as well. If I'm in the area again, I would visit this restaurant again.
Yum yum
Took all of my kids and grandkids to foley for vacation and we went to whataburger one evening and they have plenty of seating for a big group and the food was very good. we didnt have to wait long for our food. friendly staff and a very clean restaurant. will definately be returning.

Excellent Patty Melt!
Oh em gee patty melt! Pair the patty melt with the jalapeño ranch! The sweet and spicy burger is also excellent! The fries are always on point and it is open late!
Like good old times
I love Whataburger. I used to live in Pensacola, and we used to go pretty much after partying. This time, I came with my family and during the day, and I can say that I have enjoyed it as much as I used to. Big, tasty, cheap and with a great service from the stuff. This one is located very close to the Outlet so I is a perfect spot to have lunch while doing some Shopping. I recommend it!
Pleasant and Enjoyable!!
We ordered (a very friendly cashier), given a number and found a table. Very shortly our food arrived, fixed the way we ordered. A very pleasant lady came around with a tray wanting to know what all we needed (ketchup, salt, pepper, spicy ketchup, etc). What a young gentleman cleaning the tabletops AND wiping the booths and chairs. Also, painted and lettered on the window, an American flag and 'One nation under God, indivisible'. Very clean. Wish we had one close to us in NE Alabama.!!!Thank you for a very nice experience at a fast food restaurant.
Nice change from McDonald's
Wanted a break from the ordinary McDonald's burger, whataburger filled the need. Burger was hot and tasty. Service was fast / friendly, a must do when in an area that has a restaurant. None on the west coast.

The food was pretty good. The service is a little slow but it is a seasonal store and most everyone around this area is short handed.
Great Burgers
Ate there Monday, May 26 around 12:15, a big mistake. The drive through went around the building and into the street. Every parking place was full, parked in 3 guys lot and walked in. I had theirChophouse Cheddar Burger, my wife had a double Patty Melt with drink and fries. Every thing was great but a little slow and we understood that. They have been open one week and before this, we had to drive to Pensacola, Florida for a Whataburger.
I ran out of lunch hour sitting in the drive thru
This is actually slower than sitting down in a restaraunt, ordering and eating. Ridiculous!! People were actually getting out of their cars in the drive thru going to the bathroom and coming back out and getting in their cars. That is slow. I called the manager on the phone and asked him if he knew he had a drive thru ?
Christmas Vacation
We visited this restaurant for a bite to eat and didn't know what to expect as we don't have one near our home. Food was GREAT and served fairly quickly; however, I have to agree with the other reviews on how horrible the service was. Cashiers up front who had an unwelcoming attitude and several people working in the back carrying on very loud, personal conversations.
You will retire waiting on your order
I am a local and I love Whataburger. When this restaurant opened in Foley, Al I thought it was awesome! When it opened I forgave the slow service and long wait but, NOW it has got stupid. 45 minutes in the drive thru!! NO WAY! NEVER AGAIN!! Food is great but the speed is beyond stupid slow! I will go in Mobile or Pensacola but Foley can forget me coming back. If you think this is made up just go and find out for yourself. Good Luck!! Dear owner of this place, Want to make 10 million more a year? Try some service and speed.
Best fast food !
One reason I love coming to orange beach area is the whataburger it's amazing and we eat here before we reach are destination it's a family tradition it's fast super clean and so good beats any McDonald's or Wendy's by far not even in the same category!!!!! A must try!!!!
