Tired and grubby!
Nice food selection and quality but the whole place looks " tired " Toilets are dirty and the walls are black with grubbiness, especially the main door into the toilet area Would only take half an hour to clean it an a fresh coat of paint Still the noisiest cafe in Manukau When are you going to put down some airport carpet and make it 100% quieter? Come on re-invest some of your profits
Excellent Cafe
We stopped here for breakfast after landing in Auckland. We had an amazing breakfast, coffee and chai. Everything was delicious, but the thing I obsessed over the most were the energy slices. They were so delicious that I stopped on my way home and bought a dozen to bring home. Then when I got home my family also loved them and ate them all in 4 days! If you read this Kreem- I'd love the recipe! Definitely stop off your in the area!
Best cafe food in Manukau
Everything was good, the food, food selection, service and cleanliness but I marked it down a star because The owners have done nothing to help eliminate the noise problem
Lunch at Kreem Cafe Manukau
As far as we are concerned, there are not many good eating establishments around Manukau where you can have a decent coffee, tea and good quality meal. We have been to the other Kreem establishments and all of them have a good range of food and keep up their standards. The service from the staff was great. The location is in an ideal place and there was plenty of parking. The cafe had plenty of tables and seating for patrons. Highly recommend this Cafe especially when the local office workers frequent it regularly. So this tells you something!
A very good lunch
Six of our family friends met at Kreem Cafe for lunch. I ordered a bacon and eggs Benedict and my wife ordered a salmon and eggs Benedict. Both were very good.
Not the same
This use to be our go to cafe, however after poor customer service in particular floor staff and to top it off being fined for a parking breach, we'll have to find a new place unfortunately….
Beware going to Kreem Manukau
Wouldn't recommend this cafe. Integrity and honesty not their strengths. An elderly friend went there with her adult grandchildren for lunch on Saturday 4th November. Parking restrictions must have just come into effect so she didn't notice the signage. She received in the mail a parking ticket so I phoned Kreem and followed up with an email as requested by them and they said no problem they will get the parking ticket waived cause they could for patrons of their cafe. We thought that would be the end of it. A month later my friend received another parking ticket reminder so I went into Kreem and once again they said must have been an oversight and they would get their Manager to sort. The Manager wasn't in at the time so they said they would phone me when the Manager came in at midday. I duly received a phone call to say the Manager is sorting this issue as we speak and once again we assumed that was the end of the matter. However my friend has now received a debt collectors notice and of course the amount has now doubled. She paid it just so she doesn't need to stress about it but says she will never go to Kreem again despite it having in the past being her favourite cafe and I certainly wont be going there either. It's just less stressful to go to another cafe just as good with no parking restrictions. Please think carefully before going to Kreem in case you end up in the same situation as my friend. Our experience certainly proves Kreem don't do as they promise to do
Zero hospitality
Arrived at 245pm, and after seeing staff sweeping and mopping floors as you would at end of day, we asked if they were closing and were told they close at 4pm. So we decided to stay and order, after perusing the menu board for a few minutes we were then told that the kitchen was closed, but we could order from the fridge. We ordered the fruit salad (fresh and delicious). Pork Sausage Roll - dry and crumbly. Quiche- average. What spoilt the experience was the fact that all we could smell was a dirty mop whilst eating our meal. I asked for a container for our fruit salad and was told to go behind the counter and grab the container myself. Overall a very underwhelming experience. Probably will never recommend to friends and family and will never return.
Bad Customer Service
Very crap service specially from the person in the counter. Ordered two cups of coffee but only serve one and tild the servier to check but never came back so I have to order again in a long queue and then when its my turn to order the peraon in the counter walk away without ut saying anything just to get the cutleries. She might not be in the mood serving the customers.
Great cafe. Shame about the militant parking tickets that spoiled an otherwise pleasant experience
Food and service were great but they really should have a word to their landlords about the parking enforcement in the carpark. Had a lovely brunch with friends for around 90 minutes or so and then visited some of the other businesses that use the same carpark. All of us have received parking tickets today. $65 each. Safe to say we won't be visiting here again as the experience has been really spoiled. This ticket was not fair and reasonable in a carpark that was over half empty.
Yummy lunch
What a great selection of food. The portions were generous and reasonable priced This was our 2nd visit this year as going to a concert in Manukau. The salads are very good and also the pasta dish. Great to be able to have a salad with a savoury cabinet quiche, pie etc etc. Person on check out was very helpful
Bad service, good food
Good food and coffee, but the cleanliness and service were lacking. We were told, (not asked) to sit on one side only, because they were short staffed. Obviously, because the only tables available on the side we were told to sit on, were filthy. I had to wipe the table down myself.
Breakfast
Called in for breakfast, great staff, great presentation, I ordered the big brek, my wife the crepe dish, then to our surprise the order came out really fast... so far so good When it came to the food, my brek was warmish, toast was lightly done though still really soft and bread like, bacon was cold, sausage def not cooked long enough. Overall wasnt worth $24.. My wifes crepe dish, had dried stawberrys and other fruit, they was nasty she couldn't eat them. Was only worth eating the banana... grrr what a waste
rude service
my friend was treated poorly by staff. not ever going back. I was surprised and really disappointed, but plenty of other cafes to spend with
Portion size and freshness
Delicious fresh food and always served quickly. Below is a suggestion to the Cafe and the reason for it. I have twice previously been given the previous days remaining Chicken, Brie, Walnut salad, which I only noticed when I got back to work (smooshy lettuce and lots of leftover small bits of cranberry etc) and today I was given a relatively small portion. When I put my fork into the salad it sunk to the bottom coming out with a bunch of lettuce and left a huge hole. In other words lettuce takes up volume but not weight.. The salad is amazing, it is expensive but that wont stop me buying it.. what will stop me is the small portion and the leftover salad being given out. Thats not good service, its disappointing, please give leftover food away and dont sell yesterdays salad, its gross.
Vegan / Plant-based options
I loved the presentation of the food but would like a variety of vegan / plant-based options. Apart from that would recommend the food, hot chocolate & atmosphere. As it is a busy cafe they should focus on serving a customer and not simultaneously talking to the customer & the staff around or in the kitchen.
Great Selection and Plenty of Parking
I took my elderly mother out for morning coffee. I could tell the place was popular as there was a queue to get in. The first impression was very good. The cabinet was full of fresh and tasty looking, in fact, there were so many things I wanted to try it was hard to choose. In the end, I decided on the cinnamon brioche. It was delicious. The coffees - large flat whites - were very large and very good. Thank you, Kreem. We will be back :)
Group cafe lunch
On arrival we were told to sit at our table to be served there. ??? some of us went to the cabinet to see the choices. What a great array and choice of food as usual that is whey we chose Kreem. We noted what we wanted but they wouldn't serve us at the desk. My husband and I wrote down what we wanted. Ordering duly done and paid for but no invoice. There were 10 of us Senior Cits.. Food and drinks started coming quickly. My husband got his lunch and my savoury came. I sat and waited. the others were well into their meal. I had to go and see where my salad and bottle of drink was. My drink was thrust at me - no glass or straw - was I too drink out of the bottle - The salad came in an awkward to eat out of bowl - notlike the nice ones other people had and then I found that although it was labelled as having Brie there was none to back again to see if I had been given the correct salad. The salad was fresh and very nice. My husband who is not a fussy person said the chicken was very dry. also his brioche which he left half of - not like him to do that. What was supposed to be an easy visit became quite a disrupted lunch and disappointing as some of the others were leaving before I had eaten my salad.
Tick of approval from my family
Tick of approval from my family, friendly and quick service. Coffee great, food delicious and awesome arrange of sweet goodies. Will be back for sure.
Terrible staff service
Absolutely terrible staff who's attitudes negatively impact the business. It's a shame really, a great shame!
Great food.. awesome coffee
The food here is always nice, and the staff friendly. A good place to come for a wide variety of food. Only downside is sometimes it can get really busy.
Quality food, great service and good ambience
Just a quick coffee and snack after some shopping with friends. Kreem delivered a very pleasant experience. We came out refreshed and replete. Thanks
Mothers Day
I've been to this cafe several times, as it's in a handy location with a great food range, & the staff are nice & friendly. However, our visit on Mothers Day afternoon was spoiled by the staff sweeping, tidying up & re-arranging furniture as if they were about to close, while we were still enjoying our meal. This was at 2.45pm, but when I enquired, I was told they are open until 4pm. We were also disturbed by seeing the inside glass of the large food cabinet being cleaned (sprayed & wiped) while still full of food! Very unhygienic.
Great food, service and convenience
I always enjoy my visits to Kreem. There is a fabulous selection of counter food as well as a broad menu range. Plenty of space. Loads of newspapers and magazines ~ always welcomed by solo diners ~ and no shortage of staff, all of whom are constantly busy serving, clearing, mopping or generally being very welcoming and hospitable. Love Kreem.
Perfect coffee!
Didn't have time available to eat here but someone told me the coffee was great, so I took a10 minute coffee break. After resisting the delicious looking treats I enjoyed my coffee and the friendly vibe. I'll pass on the recommendation and if I'm back in the area I'll try some good next time. 🌼
Wonderful lunches in particular
Our go to cafe close to work where it is frantic but the selection of salads and ready to go meals is pretty amazing. Everything t tastes like it's meant to and the variety is extensive. Great club sandwiches, coffee is great. Noisy and busy but they still seem to get everything right. Would be wonderful if it could be extended so you could always get a seat.
Nice lunch
Dined here for lunch, ordered a big breakfast which was served on a large breadboard with handle, different way to serve but meal was good. They were super busy but organized and meal was served quickly.
Nice Breakfast
Came in at 8 in the morning we were in a bit of a rush. The service was quick, efficient and the food was very good. Fresh and large portions. Staff were attentive and friendly. The fresh food in the chiller looked very good. Will certainly be back. Very handy for AUT and ample parking.
Rude staff, dirty tables and average food
The staff were not polite, the place was very dirty, the food expensive for what it was. I wont be coming back.
Oh what a breakfast..
Went to Kreem for breakfast and what a treat it was... good variety and really lovely environment. Staff are really friendly and there is lots of parking. Sitting can be abit of an issue as everyone wants to eat at Kreem :) Would be going back again and again...
Happy staff
Everything was ok, food, coffee, etc, but one thing stands out here. The friendly and obliging staff and their warm and natural smiles. The premises are open and airy, with seating inside and outside, and there Is some parking on site.
Super place for lunch brunch or coffee
A great spot for lunch, brunch or just morning / afternoon tea. A very extensive selection of salads, scrumptious dishes, muffins, gluten free options, cakes etc. A very vibrant and popular place and no surprises there!
Great service
always greeted on arrival with a smile, A great looking cabinet with a good selection. Coffee strong and hot, food flavoursome. A sign of a great cafe is how busy it is and it is always busy, but the service does not drop.
Business
We always used to go to Kreem, stopped going because of the inconsistent service. Decided to go back on Tuesday 26th with two of my colleagues. We all ordered together, their soup came out, I was told my chicken would be following. I waited for 5 mins, meanwhile my colleagues started, I went up to the counter to be told it's on its way, went back to table, my colleagues just about finished there soup, Waited for a few minutes, went back up to be told they had given my meal to someone else. Mine will be out soon. Colleagues had finished, so I told them not to bother, I will have my money back. NEVER.. NEVER, will I be going back.
Good clean and lately upgraded
Good selection, nice staff, opens early and good place to be. Recommended to all business places or private meetings also.
Cabinet food looked so fresh!
Quick bite for lunch with my work colleagues. Kreem was busy but we luckily nabbed a table that would seat 5 of us. Cabinet food looked fresh and very appealing. I have ordered from the menu before and was very happy (breakfast) but we didn't have a lot of time. I went for the pulled pork foldover and a side salad. They toasted the foldover. Very happy, it was quick and exactly what I was after. Everyone else at the table was happy with their meal too. I was a little envious of my boss who ordered the beef burger as it looked awesome.. next time that's what I'm getting!!!
Fantastic food, huge selection
Always a great place to visit for breakfast or lunch, a huge choice of dishes and cakes. All look amazing and having tried many I can vouch for them tasting as good as they look. Excellent coffee, and I can totally recommend the Ginger slice.
Awesome!!!
I have to give credit where it's due... # kreemcafe # manukau what a fabulous oat and chia parfait !!! The best tasting # cleaneat I have had in a while!!! # healthyeats
First class
Stayed overnight in Auckland. Hubby chose this place because it was number one listed for best coffee Manukau (he knows me well haha). The price for big breakfast was very reasonable, the food was beautiful, fresh, tasty and even though we were a big group our meals all came out in good time, staff were very hospitable, happy, friendly. The coffee was amazing. We even got seconds to go. I would boldly say the best coffee I have ever had and Im a big coffee drinker.
Beautiful food!
I have visited this cafe many times with my family and we absolutely love it! All of their food is delicious, even the takeaway. I would recommend their Iced Chocolates to anyone that visits as it is one of my favourites. This cafe is always busy and you never see it empty which is a reflection on their amazing food. Beautiful for breakfast and lunch, I would highly recommend Kreem Manukau to anyone visiting the area!!!
Vegan option
Bliss ball! Nothing more to say really. Just cafe,. quaint. certainly not enough vegan options to make THAT claim. Seriously! With such a huge rise and need surely more options for vegan would be available. Even EVERY salad in the cabinet had some kind of animal product... oh sorry, the fruit salad, I presume, didn't. Why do vegans have only a side salad or chips option?!
Lovely service and food
Hats off to the counter server cheerful and helpful. One of our group received the wrong dish and had eaten it before the mistake was noticed (both dishes chicken something) so the server offered a refund or to give us both dishes. Very nice. Tasty dishes and good coffee.
Bruncj
Ordered the big breakfast. Was ok however had had better breakfasts elsewhere that was more reasonable in price. The woman who served us was a little rude but overall rest of the staff were nice. Location is right close to manukau mall. The beef burger and chips my nephew ordered was about $18 NZD which was quiet expensive considering pattie was over cooked and fries also. Been here twice but not sure if I'll go again.
A good cafe in an ugly location
I have walked past Kreem many times and never considered visiting. It has little street appeal. That was my loss. It is always busy so my wife and I thought that there must be a reason for it's popularity. As soon as we walked through the door we understood. It is a beautiful cafe that is full of life. The wait staff were delightful and while the service was not exactly speedy t was not bad for a Saturday lunch. There is a reason that coffee is usually served in a cup or a mug, something with a handle. Serving my long black in a large handle-less glass. was not the best idea. It was too hot to pick up (that is why handles are good) which meant that they had to tie a napkin around the glass to insulate it. Not an elegant solution for an unnecessary problem. Coffee stays hot longer and is easier to drink in a ceramic container with a handle. A pity really because the coffee was nice / The food was good as well. A range of the expected and the unique. They were more than happy to make adjustments o cater for my wife's allergies. Portion size was fine though I would have enjoyed a bit more. I may just be greedy.
Good looking food!
Went in for brunch and was quite distracted by the variety of cabinet food!! Lively, lovely, laid back vibe... The place is bright and airy. Liked the decor. My cashew spinach pasta was a bit bland for my taste, but had enough flavour to leave me happy. The chicken open sandwich was fresh and came well presented. Will go back for coffee and a sweet treat soon.
Kreem, is it de la creme? Manukau
Food galore thats for sure Delicious quiche Salads supreme Menu bfast lunch Superb brunch A feast 4 the eyes Riot of colour Seatings fine Service on time Always packed A sign perhaps of Kreme de la creme!!! Yes a hi - 5 Cafe fine I say come dine 👍
Great for Brunch
I always get the big breakfast when I come here. It's consistently good, and I absolutely LOVE their hash brown ball thing. It looks little when it comes out, but trust me there's a lot of food there and I always leave feeling gloriously full. Now and then I've popped in to grab a salad from the salad bar to go, and not ever been disappointed. Made on-site and always fresh, it's a great option if you're in a hurry. Coffee is good, the staff are all lovely and I'll keep going back, even though it gets pretty busy for brunch on Saturdays. It used to be closed on Sundays, so I'm super pleased to see that it now opens for Sunday brunch too. :)
9 / 10 Eggs Benedict, mushrooms, spinach, $16.00
I went here for breakfast. I am a eggs benedict fadnatic, especially salmon. I tried the mushroom and spinach for a change. Pleaseantly suprised at the plating-up presentation, balance, colour, texture, eggs cooked, the bread used and spianch. highly recommend to try the x3 varieties of eggs benedict. The restuant was pleseant, easy seating, easy parking, lots and lots of variety. it can wait until next time in am back in Manukau.
Congratulations great breakfast
Congratulations great breakfast This was not my first choice for a breakfast meeting but I was more than pleasantly surprised. Great food at low prices and very friendly staff. Particularly impressed by the way they checked to see if GF was a choice or a medical requirement, great work guys.
Unbelievable food
Very delicious food man. Recommend everyone if u have chance dont miss this place. I always come here with friends and family.
Comfortable
It's nice to go to Kreem never been disappointed in choices, nice after fiji to have real cream again.
No Vegan options available
Came here because trip advisor said vegan options available. Great range of salads but none vegan. Lady at till (very helpful) went and asked if they could make one up for me and they couldn't. Kitchen also couldn't accommodate me with doing sides. Very disappointing.
Morning coffee
Had a quick coffee here as I was early for a meeting. A slice of sultana cake also which was yum. The salads in the cabinets looked great and I wanted to come back for lunch but ran out of time.
Needs more chocolate!
Stopped in at Kreem for quick meeting and ordered a hot chocolate. Positives: great looking cabinet food, nice staff, quick service and clean tables. Negative: My hot choc was not chocolatey enough. I Would come back due to the food looking so yum, but unlikely to order a Hot Choc again as this was my third attempt and each time it has tasted just as bland.
Kreem coffee
Visit this cafe regularly on Saturday morning, personable friendly staff. Coffee is great especially when made by the barista who I think is Persian, always consistent and always hot. Food cabinets are amazing, pleased I have self control or I would end a up non stop eating. Plenty of tables and always lots of daily papers available. 10 / 10 all round.
Breakfast
Finally made it to this cafe i heard so much about. After looking at the menu i was pleasantly surprised to see the different food options that were available such as paleo, gluten free, hot chocolate that was dairy free. However once we ordered that attention to detail was seriously lacking. I ordered hash cakes and asked for it to be dairy free, they said if they leave off the hollandaise sauce it will be dairy free, then i got my meal and the hash cake was soft and beautiful mash potato and i called someone to ask if this was in fact dairy free and then waited while they went to ask the kitchen. Coffee arrived with dried drips all down the side of the cup as well. My husband ordered the big breakfast, he enjoyed the cabanossi sausage and liked the character of the place especially the winding tables. Interesting place but with a dairy allergy it might be safer to eat at home.
