Stupendous location, ok coffee!
Stupendous location, ok coffee! Nice patio and great view of harbor activity. Not much going on today, several kayakers. But another great day for walking about Ventura harbor.
Good Location. Average Coffee
Spent the afternoon up at Ventura Harbour and fancied a coffee to round the day off. Can't fault the café layout, décor or cleanliness, the friendliness and prompt attention of my Barista, or the price of my drink (it's all about location, location, location). It's just that my latte was - meh. Didn't dislike, but can't recommend it. Not sure what it was - the beans are from the Santa Barbara Roasting Co. so they're fine - but whether it grind or measure wasn't correct, or the milk had scolded, but I was just left with an overwhelmingly bitter after-taste. Hopefully it was just an off-day, but I can't recommend.
Fresh-brewed coffee and friendly staff!
Convenient location for visitors to the Ventura harbor area. Very friendly staff and a good variety of freshly prepared beverage items.
Hazelnut Mocha Latte.. Yum!
I got a small non-fat hazelnut mocha for $4.75 and it was delicious, no need for sugar and not so hot that you can't drink it for 10 minutes like some places. Great prices on their gifts too! Very friendly and fast.
Nice place fora coffee break
Came before 11 am on a weekday. Crowds were at a minimum, which made for a nice relaxing break on their deck. One of the few coffee places that offer a variety of locally-made rugelachs in their pastry case.
Starbucks with soul and a smile
Doesn't look anything like the picture above anymore but this is an excellent place for a coffee and maybe more. Can't comment on the food, although it certainly looks good, but the coffee is fine, the service friendly and welcoming and the location second to none.
Great for sandwich and coffee
This is a great little coffee shop. We visited Ventura Harbour on our trip down from San Francisco to LA and decided against the restaurants there, but had the most amazing sandwiches and coffee at the Coffee Dock and Post. The coffee was excellent with a huge choice and way superior to anything like Starbucks. But the best part was the home made sandwiches, fresh to order. I would come here every week if I did not live in England! The person who runs this is extremely nice and service was also excellent.
