WHAT A DUMP !!!
WHAT A DUMP !! The only good thing is the location.... But... Spots on everything, sandpaper like rough towels.. Scared to lie down on bed... Like thrift store furniture... I invited to my very good friend... He still don't answer my calls... I still have nightmares about it Depressing place to stay... maybe is a good place for Halloween times. (Boo!!) and good lock to everybody...
Da recepção ao quarto tudo a desejar
Na recepção dava para visualizar a parte domiciliar dos proprietários.... nos recebeu e ao solicitarmos quarto sem presença de animais, não pode nos garantir esta opção.... o quarto era bastante simples e as toalhas finas como papel!!! A limpeza externa nos corredores deixava muito a desejar. Não recomendo apesar da ótima localização!!

This review is based upon an eight (8) night / just over a full-week, stay here at the Tri State Inn in Kingman, Arizona. I am not sure why this seems to happen to my wife and myself. We stay in a property that has, in a word, gotten terrible (or worst) reviews here on Trip Advisor. Let me put it this way : IF there is one very good room here at the Tri State Inn, then it looks like my wife and I got that one very good room. Just in case you're interested, it was Room Number 115, facing out onto West Beale Street / US Hwy 93. Our room was not in the back. When we arrived, we were shown our (reserved Priceline) room, a room next to the office. It was totally unacceptable and so I was able to 'shop' several rooms and selected the very nice room 115. Yes, we had to pay about $7 a day additional, but it was well worth it. To begin with, in my opinion, when one stays at the lowest priced property (anywhere) that Priceline has to offer, you can't really expect to get the Taj Mahal. This is an older property for sure. My wife and I are older (late 70's early 80's) so we too are older property, and like the Tri State Inn, we too have many nicks and bumps and bruises and hip replacements and you-name-it. Repeat : We stayed here eight (8) days / just over a full-week. IF the Tri State Inn was all and everything that the terrible-rating reviews here on Trip Advisor claim it to be, don't think for one New-York-Minute we two would've stayed eight (8) days. Our room was basically clean. Don't mistake old for being dirty. Our bathroom was also clean. The water pressure was excellent and we had very nice hot / cold water. Our two (2) Queen beds were very comfortable. Our flat screen televison was excellent. Our microwave was nice. We had a nice mini-fridge that kept water and other juices very cold. Tri State Inn does not have an ice machine. If you want ice cubes and have the time you can make them in the mini-fridge. If you want crushed ice, they have an arrangement with the gas station across Hwy 93 for free crushed ice. We carry styrofoam ice chests. Besides, for $1.79 at Walmart, you can buy a large bag of ice. The WiFi (very important to me) was excellent. We did not have any clothes racks, there were no towel racks and there was no closet. We carry our own hangars and used the bathroom shower-curtain overhead-rod for hanging things. We had no noise issues / problems with neighboring guests or the staff. The location was to our liking. Kingman is sort-of spread out anyway along Interstate 40. Out the door, to the left on Hwy 93 / Beale Street, under the overpass and there is the visitor's center and a number of restaurants and a park. Further down Historic Route 66 is the Post Office and the historic downtown area. The library and Walmart are East one exit on I-40. The front office staff were a mixed bag but certainly polite. The maintenance man, Virgil, was fantastic. Need something? Need anything? Ask Virgil and you had it! Would we stay here at the Tri State Inn again. Yes indeed.
How Bad Could It Be? Oh, you have no idea.
My first mistake was looking at Google reviews about this place. Weren't great but were okay. A couple of them stated it was nothing fancy, a budget motel but clean. I should have come to TripAdvisor first. It was a last minute booking due to a schedule change. Didn't want to spend a lot of money. Needed a bed and a bathroom and a fast exit on to the highway. Second mistake, not peeling out of the parking lot as soon as I saw Torgo sweeping the walkway. Torgo, he immediately stopped sweeping and stared at me. Watched every move I made. Torgo, swept the same area for about an hour. Thankfully it was not in front of my room. My room... Dirty, broken fixtures, broken door lock. A " non smoking " room that smelled like a giant ashtray. No chair. Cigarette holes in the bedspread. I wore my shoes the entire time. I prayed that I didn't get bed bug bites (I didn't). The AC worked but it was 6 feet+ up on the wall. Since I didn't have DeAndre Jordan available to help me operate it. I had to jump a few times to get things running. My jump shot is pretty good for an old gal. And there was drama. Two women, who I am assuming were housekeeping staff (that's rich) were having an early evening disagreement in front of my room regarding a vacuum cleaner. Thankfully it was shortlived and there was no hair pulling, screaming or kicking. And there was lots of late evening activity ahead! Horns honking in the parking lot. One room had lots of folks coming and going. And a man stood in a front of the door of the adjacent room yelling " where's my beanie? ". A good time was had by all. And the free WiFi was useless. This " Inn " actually looks okay on the outside, even kind of cute. Don't be fooled. It is awful. Truly awful. Enjoy the photos.
Not worth it
I'm not a picky person don't mind staying at a low class budget hotel as long as it's clean, put it this way I looked at the covers on the pillows didn't bother checking or smelling them wasn't sure if they were dirty or stained same thing goes for the rest of the bed linens so I just pulled the pillowcases off and wrapped clean towels around them. Same thing with the bathroom definitely would not stay here again do yourself a favor and pay the extra 10 bucks a night somewhere else you'll be sorry if you don't.
The worst motel in the USA
There is no such thing as free lunch. That is how $44 a night looks like. I booked two rooms for two couples and I am ashamed that I picked this motel for my friends. The worst maintained motel I have ever stayed in. AC is noisy like a train - we turned it off. Furniture is old and covered with dirty spots. Title floor in the bathroom is painted (!) and the paint is naturally peeling off. Bath tub is stained, loosing its original white color. Door in the bathroom has a large hole inside. No bulbs in two of three lamps. Carpet has holes in the walking path. Stains on pillow cases. Unbelievable! Never stay in this motel!
CHEAP / CHEAT
I told them two nights; they only booked me for one. Then in trying to get that straightened out, we find that someone else got a room for almost $20 less! On the plus side, they do take pets, the other two on the " block " do not. Can't expect the Taj Mahal for the price.
There are better holels in town for less money
It's not awful, but there are far better options in town. I did enjoy the exterior architecture, I wish the inside was as as nice. The rooms were not dirty exactly, but dingy for sure, the effect made worse by the awful fluorescent lighting. The truck parking was trashy enough I almost gave up before getting out. The towels had pretty impressive exfoliating properties, I'm not sure that's what they intended. There was shampoo provided, in the tiniest little packet I ever did see. The curtains weren't adequate to darken the room. Oh, they still had tube televisions, if they were any older they would have actually been sort of quaint. I had fears about noise, being right there on a major artery, but it wasn't as bad as I feared. I noticed there was a separate / second batch of rooms a street back from the main road, I'd be inclined to request one of those rooms in the hopes of a less bright and quieter room.
Great budget motel
If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not it. It is a no frills motel that is badly in need of updating. But for $35 a night, what else do you expect? The room was clean, the bed was comfortable (we brought our own pillows), and the staff was friendly. Will definitely stay there again.
Disgusting
We're seniors and my wife injured her leg in Gallup, NM. We stopped at this hotel on the way to Las Vegas, NV due to her injury. I requested a handicap room & also asked about AARP, CDL, Military or any other discounts and was told none were available until April. I should have left then. The room was filthy. Only the sheets appeared clean. Looked like mold in the bathroom. Shower / tub had nothing to prevent slipping. Smoke detector was disconnected and sitting on the table. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. It was too late to move on or get our $50 refunded. Nuff said.
Room filthy. Tub dirty and stained
I'm sorry I did not check reviews before reserving. No refund. The sheets seemed lean but the bed spread was dirty. Tub horrible. Afraid to use for bath. Sofa badly stained. I included photos. No coffee in room or office. Have to cross busy highway in morning for my java fix. Avoid this place at all costs.
I wouldn't stay at this hotel again
My son-in-law had reserved this hotel for us in a 2 queen size bed room and we were 3 adults and one 2 year old child. I had noticed that they had larger rooms that had 3 queen size beds so when we checked in I asked if they had one of those rooms available. This room cost more money than the 2 bed room. This room was not even connected to the original motel. We had to drive through an alley and parked. When we walked into the room, it had such a bad odor and the chairs were all stained. The rug looked like it hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in years. The bathroom was disgusting. I was even afraid to sit on the beds. It reminded me of the Bates Hotel (Psycho movie). I went back into the office and told them we couldn't stay in that room and if they had any rooms that had been renovated. He said yes and took me to another room in the front rooms of the hotel. This room had been renovated, so we stayed in this room. I checked to see how many towels were in the bathroom. They only had 2 bath towels and 1 face cloth. I had to go into the office to ask for extra towels. I was looking for the ice maker to get some ice for our room, but found that you had to pay to get ice out of the ice maker. I have never stayed in a hotel where you had to pay for ice. These people should never have put anyone in the rooms in the alley. They definitely need to be renovated before anyone stayed in those rooms. They said they had free WiFi, but when I tried to get into the Wifi, it wouldn't let me. What ever you do, don't stay at this hotel.
Avoid like the plague
Turned up kinda late in Kingman so was pushed for time to find a bed for the night, mistakenly ended up at this dump, and when I say dump I sure mean that, I am amazed that places like this are allowed to trade. The room was filthy and grubby and the decor was well past its use by date and there were cockroaches running around the floor, the bathroom was just awful with the sink falling off the wall and the bathtub was a bloody disgrace. My advice, find somewhere else at all costs, this place is complete disgrace, and that is a huge understatement!!!!!
Do not book
This was the worst place imaginable Started with the check in with very rude man Hard time opening door it sticks but we should of turned around because the curtains were decaying from outside window view. We walked in to a room that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The toilet had nastiness all over and inside the tub I wouldn't put trash in and the floors and base boards were so dirty. The wall a / c unit was broken and it was so hot the sink faucet squirted water everywhere it needs to be condemned in so ashamed for not knowing where to stay and chose that place
THE FILTHIEST HOTEL IN USA I HAVE EVER STAYED IN !!!!!!!
There is not much to tell except avoid it at all cost. The bath tub was yellow with mold or something? The comforter was so dirty that one could not even touch it. The pillows were flattened out and incredibly dirty under the covers. Bed sheet and pillow covers were well laundered as a saving grace. It was supposed to be a pit stop for us two couples headed to vegas and since it was only $40 a night we thiught it would be okay to sleep in and leave in the morning.. Bad decision. The window ac was antique and did not cool for ever. Seemed like all night we were scratching ourselves??? TV Remote did not work. Sincere advise to the owners is spend just a small amount of money in keeping the place clean and you will get better business that will compensate more than your cost to provide comfort. NEVER AGAIN.
Quite Possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in
Well for under $40 a night I know you can't expect much but you could at least expect an a / c and a working toilet and clean bedding. The toilet overflowed over and over, the pillows had stains all over them, one was a left over pillow from someone's stay as it was a memory foam and nothing like the other pillows, the a / c was from 1967 and didn't work in 114 degrees. The room smelled like death. Just very very dirty and un cared for. The man was nice that checked us in but you really need to take mroe pride in your business and update and clean your rooms better.
Nice management but that's it!
Oh my goodness! Talking about a cheap hotel! Again, another hotel with the horrible window ac units. This place was barely tolerable. The hair dryer was on a wall in the room that had no plug in for it and couldn't be moved. Bathroom was so hot the door had to be kept close. Had to pay for ice if you need it. I was trying to save money because we were traveling with 2 extra people, big mistake! Spend the extra money for better places to stay.
Bring your own pillow and you'll be fine
Another budget hotel that turned out not to be a dump! It was clean and comfortable except for the sad, sad flat pillows. Kingman is not the seat of civilization that you might expect. ;-) So don't expect extras in this bargain. I was glad to see they had wifi, but I am still shaking my head over the fact that " this connection does not support internet access ". what in the world? Also, a gas mask is recommended for entering the office to register. The incense will choke a person used to breathing air. I'm sure I would stay there again if the other hotels are just as uninviting as they seemed from the street. Really, any decent room for $50 bucks, you can't complain that much.
Average Motel
We stayed at Tri-State Inn for 1 night on the way to Grand Canyon West in May. This is an average 2-star motel with a fridge and microwave. Everything was OK but there was no place to hang out clothes.

Le Motel est très mal situé sur une route très passante et bruyante. Les chambres sont mal isolées et sales. À noter qu'il n'y a pas de petit-déjeuner et pas de lit bébé disponible. Je ne recommande pas du tout cet hôtel bien que son prix soit attractif.
Very disappointed
I arrived late in the evening. I made an error making my reservation by giving the wrong date of arrival. They accepted for the day I meant to make the reservation without any problem. Upon entering the room, i felt that it needed a deep cleaning. There was no book telling me anything about the area including where I could get something to eat. The owner was from India and did not speak English very well. I asked for a TV channel lineup. It took about 90 minutes for it to arrive after going back twice more. The heater, air conditioner, was extremely slow in getting the room warm. If I am ever back in this area, I will NOT stay there.

Объезжайте стороной!!! Это худший мотель за две неделе остановок в разных местах! Одним словом - Гадюшник! Номер убогий, грязный. Сначала дали номер - он был весь прокуреный, вонючий, страшный, грязный. Попросили другой. Дали не лучше. Уборки нет (в холодильнике был какой-то хлам), номер ужасно грязный и вонючий, мебель сломана, проженная, полы сто лет не мылись. Мы не рискнули даже в душ пойти. Вай-фай не работал. Никогда не рискуйте останавливаться тут!!!! Мы поспали часов 5 и рано утром просто сбежали оттуда
Lo schifo di una notte
Di passaggio a kingman per andare al gran canyon decidiamo di allogiare in questo hotel sula route 66... non l avessimo mai fatto... degno di un film horror... la reception ke puzzava da morire... la signira ke c stava piu spaesata che mai le abbiamo detto noi cm usare la carta d credito... la stanza, che dire, schifo e " dire poco... guardate le foto

Dalle recensioni lette ci aspettavamo una fogna. Non è stato così. Abbiamo alloggiato qui una notte, arrivando da Los Angeles dopo aver percorso circa 500 km e fatto varie soste nei punti di interesse sulla Route66. La stanza era spaziosa, il bagno con vasca funzionale, per cenare abbiamo usato il microonde che ha funzionato benissimo, insieme al frigo e al condizionatore. Posto tranquillissimo, con le stanze che danno direttamente sul piazzale del parcheggio. La colazione non era inclusa nel prezzo, abbiamo rimediato comprando qualcosa al drugstore della pompa di benzina di fronte. Per una notte va benissimo, è un posto tranquillo e senza pretese, dove riposare prima della tappa successiva. Consigliato.

Номер с кроватью Кинг сайз обошолся нам 46$, кондиционер работал, но очень шумно, в номере есть холодильник и микроволновка, но не было чайника и фена. Умывальник и ванна оказались слегка забитыми так как вода долго уходила. Мебель старая, но за свои деньги вполне приемлемый вариант отдохнуть ночью.
Mediocre at best
For a tired family on our way back home with elderly it's okay I guess. The room was meh and smelled like someone was smoking before we arrived. The bath room was small and cramped. Internet working at about 1mbps (really really bad). It's honestly one of those don't judge a book by its cover but this time it's for the worse. It looks much better from the outside. We got three beds but the sheets didn't feel very clean and don't get me started on the carpet. The TV worked and it does come with a microwave and fridge (we didn't use but it's there). If you need somewhere to stay quick it pulls through. But I wouldn't stay unless you absolutely need to. There are much better options. You get what you pay for I guess. Which isn't much here
Bargain priced hotel
The room was furnished in the 80's and the carpet is old and worn, but it was clean. I paid $30 for a night and was happy with the room, the tv worked, the bed was comfortable but I used my own pillows as the one's supplied were very thin. The air-conditioner is an old wall mounted one that worked but was a bit noisy.
50's
If you are looking for a place to sleep on the way to vegas for the price it is good, I really needs a update on ru, you can see where they tore out wall heater and they have a wall air and heat conditioner and painting etc but it does have micro wave refig and a nice king size bed the motel is clean and the furniture match it is 50ish style.
Malissimo, malissimo, malissimo....
Abbiamo alloggiato in questo motel perchè di strada e perchè da internet dall'esterno sembra normale, errore. Di certo la stanza peggiore in cui abbiamo mai dormito in assoluto! Abbiamo dormito mettendo i nostri asciugamani personali sopra i cuscini (gialli e con bruciature di sigaretta), e vestite da capo a piedi, compresi calzini per ridurre al minimo qualsiasi contatto con il posto. Le poltrone macchiate, le tende tarlate e macchie di (marmellata ????).. Terribile il bagno (abbiamo preferito non fare la doccia). Chi dice che è meglio dormire in macchina ha proprio ragione! Da evitare sicuramente, fa schifo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was tired. Walked into the room looks like someone e is staying I. The room. Dirty beer cans in the floor trash everywhere not vacuumed or cleaned in some time I told the man this was the NASTY DIRTY PLACE I'VE SEEN. REFUNDED MONEY AND LEFT. DO NOT STAY HERE
Sleep in your car
Nastiest hotel I have ever seen. Filthy, roach infested, no smoke detectors in room. Looks like our room had seen multiple meth parties and had never been cleaned. Syringe blood spatter on walls. Dead roaches and live in refrigerator. Hair on pillows and matresses. Matress stained, towels and blankets stained. Holes in walls and bathroom door. This room stunk... literally and figuratively. We returned our key and went somewhere else. This place needs a visit from a health inspector.
Great value, all amenities, not fancy
This is a very nice inexpensive motel, managed by a friendly family originally from the Indian subcontinent. Our room is, clean, spacious, with a King-size bed, microwave, refrigerator, and free wi-fi which is fast enough to easily stream movies. Decently quiet location, and plenty of very hot water. Do not expect anything fancy, however, small details are a bit tatty, though everything is functional. For $35 for two tired travelers, we will definitely stay hear again on our drive home. Данный мотель был выбран спонтанно в ночное время после поездки на Гранд-Каньон. Хотелось просто помыться в душе и хорошенько выспаться. Чтобы было поменьше лирики опишу этот мотель по пунктам. 1) неприятнейший запах в номере, который с порога ударяет в нос. Запах старой мебели и отсутствия влажной уборки. 2) грязь, в номере она повсюду. Ковер весь в разводах. Шторка душа коричневого цвета от слоя грязи. Стены в душевой тоже никогда не чистились. В таких антисанитарных условиях принимать душ просто опасно. 3) Отсутствие как таковых одеял, просто простынка и если вам холодно, то можете укрыться грязным и дурно пахнущим покрывалом. Хозяин мотеля, индус по национальности, видимо не знаком с понятием " чистая комната " и " достойные условия проживания ".
Einfaches etappenhotel
Das hotel sieht von aussen sehr schoen aus, liegt guenstig, also leicht zu finden, zimmer dann allerdings leider weniger sauber und die klimaanlage sehr laut. Aber immerhin geht sie. Personal etwas reserviert, aber dann sehr hilfsbereit. Genau erklaert, wo ich guenstigste petrostation in dsr stadt finde. Immerhin unterschied von 80 cent / gallon.
Most AWFUL Place ever
Arrived here dead tired late night, rooms disgusting as hell, lots of hair on pillows, dirty & filthy sheets and towels, carpet with spots all over. Bathroom super small and again Dirty. Gross gross gross
Discusting, filthy beyond my imagination!
No rooms available in the area other than here. The room was filthy beyond belief: large dark stains on the carpet, dark spatter on the walls, dirty walls, bathtub stained and filthy, smoke alarm missing and wires hanging out, holes in the walls and bathroom doors, filthy upholstered chairs... tv iffy, no internet service... With all the filth we were surprised to find very clean sheets / pillow cases and a comfortable bed! Upon leaving found a bloody IV line by our car...
This place needs a visit from the Health Department!!
Nasty rooms, no blankets between the sheets and bedspreads (although they would likely be filthy too), see-thru towels. Cable is a conundrum..... manager had to come to the room to get it to work. We were only in Kingman (our home area) for a week between jobs and stayed here because it was so cheap (alas, found out later we could have stayed at the Knights Inn in town for the same price.... will know better next time). We were moved part way thru the stay because of a prior reservation he had for someone else who specifically wanted our room (seriously????) and the room we were moved to was no better. Daughter's bed had no bedspread and they didn't have one to give us (WTH????). The shower I took in the morning felt more like me washing the filthiness of this place off of me. I won't stay here again..... I'll sleep in my vehicle first.
Yuck
We stayed at this motel when we were on an extended motorcycle trip. We arrived late and it was the first motel we came across and we were very cold, so we decided to get a room for the night. Well the front desk clerk was an older man and a very nice fellow, the lobby was plain and non assuming so we decided to check in. Could not believe the price was only 34$ but soon realized why. When we walked in the room was cold and smelled very old. The bed was a king but was from the sixties decor and was disgusting stains on sheets and just dirty in general. The washroom was so bad we went across the street to use the one in the gas station. Paint was peeling off the walls and there was some goo dripping out of the heater. Had I of known that there was a string of decent hotels down the road I would have pressed on. We slept in our clothes and shoes.
OK pour le prix !
Sur la route du Grand Canyon nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour nous reposer. Ce n'est pas un hôtel de luxe, loin de là, mais l'essentiel y est, et cela nous convient parfaitement. Chambre spacieuse et propre, frigo et micro-ondes sont également présents. Internet correct et gratuit, pas comme à Mesquite (!). Certes le motel mériterait une bonne révision - clim dépassée par exemple, mais nous avons aussi apprécié ses prix modérés : 47 Dollars la nuit, c'est correct. Ajoutons aussi la gentillesse de l'accueil, et nous ne pourrons pas être sévères, loin de là !

en + : le style de motel ancien et son architecture tout de plain pied. Le service invisible mais sans doute présent. Bref bon séjour sas surprise bonne ou mauvaise. Pas de petit dejeuner ou d'en-cas à priori en - : rien ou alors sans charme, tout était classique sans surprise
Bloody sheets and feces covered blankets
We rented a room on Saturday, October 20 2012, for our son and girl friend and her 5 year old son. It was at the " Tri-State Inn " in Kingman Arizona and is located just off of Interstate Highway 40 on Beale street. It was a Queen sized double room. They are traveling / moving to another state and had been driving for quite some time. The room was $34.00 plus tax which brought it up to $40.59. Being dead tired they lay down to get some rest. It was not until waking that the girl friend found BLOOD and possible FECES all over the inside of the bedspread that she'd be laying under! She brought it to the office immediately and they suggested and granted a refund of the room cost. This was ALL. They did not offer another clean room or even another 'clean' blanket. The desk clerk apologized and wished them a 'nice stay' for the remainder of their time there. We had plans and went out until very early in the morning. We'd wanted to watch the meteor shower which is occurring. When we arrived back at the Inn at 2 AM they had been LOCKED OUT OF THEIR ROOM with ALL OF THEIR BELONGINGS INSIDE! We went to the office to ask what was going on and were told (by a different desk clerk ~ possibly the OWNER) that " You got a refund. You take your stuff and GO! " We had not been told this earlier at all. We'd been told NOTHING other than 'have a nice stay'. The man opened the room and stood there as they gathered their belongings. They ended up staying at the very clean and affordable 'Comfort Inn' a bit up the street from these shysters! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME or get a possible SICKNESS by staying here! It's NOT WORTH the small savings.

Disinfettarsi prima e dopo
Abbiamo alloggiato in questo motel perchè di strada e perchè era tardi. Dall'esterno sembra normale, errore. Di certo la stanza peggiore in cui abbiamo mai dormito in assoluto! Abbiamo dormito mettendo i nostri asciugamani personali sopra i cuscini (gialli e con bruciature di sigaretta), e vestite da capo a piedi, compresi calzini per ridurre al minimo qualsiasi contatto con il posto. Terribile il bagno (abbiamo preferito non fare la doccia). Chi dice che è meglio dormire in macchina ha proprio ragione! Da evitare accuratamente.
Sleep in your car first
Fire alarm missing from the wall, but good news is the wires were hanging there. Paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom. Most likely the room I stayed in has not been painted in last decade. My pillow case had burn holes in it. TV reception only worked off and on. Room smelled like cat urine. But my Mother always said to say something nice. So here goes. It had a great refrig / freezer in the room. Take my advice and keep driving. Next street over has nicer hotels.
The filthiest place you can sleep in... stay away!
I spent overnight in this filthiest inn / motel I ever slept in. First, on the phone he told me a different price than what I was charged when I checked in (after 12 hours driving you can't really negotiate). Second, They didn't even vacuum the room before I come even though I called 4 hours ahead. Third, The blanket was disgusting.. I couldn't even put on. I slept over it for 1 hour then I woke up after nightmares of filth and dirt! I called them to get me another blanket and I got one that is even dirtier than the first one (it had some thing like blood spots!)... don't even think that pillows were better. Fourth, the bathroom curtain was so dirty that when I was taking a shower I was making sure that curtain doesn't touch me. At the end, I almost was going to sleep in my car that night... but it was freezing and I was exhausted but I slept in my own blanket and pillow (thanks God I had them with me in the car) I even thought of washing those sheets (mattress, pillows, blanket) but they didn't have a washing machine around. I really don't recommend this inn to anyone. Sleeping in your car is better
absolut mangelhaft, dreckig, unfreundlich, sehr schlechtes Frühstück, NIE WIEDER !!!
Leider mußten wir dort bleiben, da so gut wie alles in Kingman ausgebucht war. Das Motel, ehemals ein Knights Inn, die Lizenz wurde offenbar schon entzogen ist eine Katastrophe. Wenn man in die Lobby kommt riecht es (vornehm ausgedrückt) schon aufdringlich sehr stark nach Curry und Ingwer. Dann das übliche falsche Grinsen der Inhaber, was dann folgt... dreckige Zimmer, die Betten nicht frisch bezogen, Bad sehr unsauber, Mobilar völlig abgenutzt etc. Im Bad ein kleines Aufreißtütchen mit Shampoo, da weiß man sofort wo man ist und wo man sicher nie wieder übernachten wird. In dem Heimatland der Betreiber ist halt ein ganz anderer Standart. Für uns ist es wirklich eine Gefährdung der Gesundheit, dort einzukehren. Bitte NICHT dort übernachten, wenn es auch noch so billig ist. Besser im Auto schlafen!!! Die hinteren Fenster lassen sich nicht verschließen- / verriegeln. Hinter dem Gebäude alles voll Müll. Von vorn sehr laut durch die Straße und ungenügende Dämmung.
Worst Motel we have ever stayed at
Our mistake for not staying at a known chain. Admittedly only $38.00, but that was about $30.00 too much. Threadbare sheets, screwed-up dirty little pillows, No pillow protector, so you could see " blood, sweat and tears " stains, and who knows what else !! prepayment required (at least that meant you could leave quickly in the morning) stay ANYWHERE else, but here. we found out later that at the othe end of town there were good chains, including Marriott. front desk staff (family) scarcely spoke English, and had no idea where any restaurants were !!

Nos alojamos aquí porque era barato y solo necesitábamos dormir para seguir viajando al día siguiente por la mañana. Lo barato acaba saliendo caro y la verdad es que es un hotel bastante descuidado. Suciedad, manchas sospechosas y mucho ruido. Te recomiendo que pagues un poco más por un hotel mejor o que sigas buscando, no te quedes en este. Tienen wifi gratis.
stay well clear
we booked in and paid for two nights here because it was the ROUTE 66 fun run. we left some of our clothes, alcohol and food in the fridge plus toiletries and went out during the day, when we returned to the room we couldnt get in so went to the reception to tell them and told us we were only booked in for one night so showe them receipt for two nights. memmber of staff went to the room to let us in and ALL our belongings had been thrown away, no appology was given just a refund of $35. there were no plugs in the sink or bath and the towels were well worn and not white. Having paid $75 per night you would have expected at least it to be clean & a coffee maker in the room. would definately advice people to look elsewhere for a room.
Never again! Filthy place!
Looked okay from outside. Deceiving!! towels were filthy little yellowed / gray / stained thin rags. My floor rags at home are cleaner! Bed spread was suspect! I put my jacket over my pillow to sleep on it. Couldn't wait for morning to get out of there! Room grimy! Couldn't bring myself to sit on the chairs. We were too tired to drive further. 2 barrels of garbage outside our door, spilling over, strewn all over the walkway. Didn't know that if we had just driven a couple more blocks into town would have found respectable motel / hotels!! Wish I had taken photos
Had no problem's with this motel
We get a room here every year when the laughlin run is going on, we never had any problems, the owner has been very kind to us, we plan to go back again, it's a cheaper motel not a high price hotel so u get what u paid for..
A bed-
The room was not very clean. Tiny bathroom, also not the cleanest. Run down, road side motel. We stopped on a road trip to the Grand Canyon when we were all tired and just need a place to sleep. We did get a room with 3 double beds and everyone was able to sleep, even though the air conditioner (wall unit) was very noisy.
You get what you pay for
This was the cheapest motel I've found anywhere in Kingman, so I didn't expect a lot, and sure enough, some amenities were missing - e. g, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave. The complimentary breakfast was very meager. There was no blanket on the bed, just the bedspread, but fortunately it was warm (I chose not to run the noisy air conditioner during the night), so the sheet sufficed - and the sheets seemed clean. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom (although I didn't try it to see if it worked) ; the plumbing and television worked fine. However, the lights in the room were quite dim, and one didn't work at all. The chain safety lock on the door was broken and unusable. However, I found the location quieter than most (all?) of the other budget hotels in Kingman (I've stayed in several others) ; I also like that it is one-story, so you didn't hear anyone tramping around upstairs. I think that, overall, my experience at this hotel was better than most of the other who have rated it. Considering the price I payed ($34.95 plus tax), I thought it was adequate.
YUCK!
We stopped here on our Route 66 roadtrip mainly because of the price and it looked ok from the outside. When we got to our room it was a different story. The curtains were FILTHY and falling down, half of the lamps in the room didn't work, there was no blanket other than the surely rancid coverlet and a single sheet. The sheet had cigarette holes in it - funny in a non-smoking room. The towels were tiny and ripped up. The walls and doors were dirty, and there was a swastika carved in the bathroom door. There was some scary stain on the chair that looked like someone had puked and / or was stabbed on it. There was a fridge and microwave in the room - I can't even describe the smell that came out of the fridge. There was no outlet at all in the bathroom!! I had to plug my hairdryer in in the other room to dry my hair. Thankfully the bathroom seemed clean. I loved how there was a ripped up old envelope in the room with " TIPS " written on it by housekeeping!! Here's a tip - try actually CLEANING this place!!
billig, aber schlecht
War nicht so sauber; Haar auf Laken und Kissen; Spinnweben in Ecken; Kakerlake am Morgen im Bad. Sonst geräumig und Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen. Das Eis kostet 25 Cent pro Portion, was wir auch nur dies einzige Mal auf der Reise erlebt haben. Morgens um 8 gab es gerade noch Kaffee für uns zwei (in der Lobby), aber keine Becher.
Overpriced fleabag
We found this in the AAA book and were very dissapointed, The carpets are very dirty; there was no balnket only a bedspread and sheets; no hairdrier; no coffee maker; shower dripped all night; towels are thin and rough; looked OK on the outside, but price was twice that of a neighboring motel.
