Great place
We visited here for the first time and what a lovely pub. The garden is a lovely spot to sit in in good weather, right next to the river and there is great play equipment which kept our little one entertained and happy with the other children there, whilst we enjoyed a few drinks. As there's no food on offer from the pub, we brought our own lunch but there is a van usually serving food on Friday evening and Saturday daytime. The staff were friendly too. Would highly recommend a visit if you fancy a drink and are in the area with children. We'll definitely be back!
Lovely local pub
Always such a warm welcome thanks to Jane. A proper local pub inside and a lovely river side beer garden with loads of tables, a trampoline and climbing frames for the kids. No food available but you can get a takeaway delivered. Plates and cutlery provided if requested. Pub snacks, of course!
Made Welcome
Came across this pleasant pub whilst out exploring Chesham and surrounding area. We were made very welcome and we sat and people watched. It has a lovely garden with plenty of seats - so I imagine its a popular venue in the summer. Certainly would pop in again if in the area.
Pool team visit
Fantastic pub the way they used to be before the powers that be wanted to stop us gathering and talking about them... Great pub, friendly as land lady, lovely hidden away location with view and seats by the river...
Top Pub with Good Outside Seating!
Situated about a five to ten minute walk from Chesham town center, this pub is well worth it, a warm welcome and some nice garden seating overlooking the small river Chess was perfect on a sunny day! The landlady is very welcoming, and they had a good selection of cold drinks! I just wish I could have stayed longer but will return. In terms of outside seating I would say its top of the list in Chesham! A*
