Could not get subs
Went to Subway on 11-26-21 on Black Friday to get subs for dinner and was informed they had no bread. I asked if was shipped in because what was going on-n-was told no we make our own. So I go to leave-n-low-n-behold in the bottom of bread keeper was bread!This was in between 9:30 / 10 am. Pretty sad on a Black Friday your employee stuck her head around the corner to lie. CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!
We always have great service here. Never any issues with our food or the staff. Parking not too far away as well since this is a little shopping strip mall area. I do prefer Firehouse Subs food over Subway so this is why it gets only 4 stars. However, Subway has the BEST chocolate chip cookies. OMG!
Best subway in Elizabeth city (inside Walmart)
Today my daughter and I went in for an early lunch at 11. Lady needed a little cheering up, but after talking with her a bit she was nice. Food was good. I had a spicy Italian salad which was awesome!! My daughter got a 6in sub Have they reduced the meat? Because this sub looks like lots of bread and a tiny bit of meat?? See pictures, perhaps they are trying to do that so people will pay extra for extra meat? My advice? Get a chopped salad and add meat They are terrific! Fresh ingredients! Very tasty!
Never Again!!!
Went to the Subway next to the Farm Fresh to take home 6 subs. I had my order written down & was going in order. They guy making my subs was doing fine until we got to the end. During the process of making my 6 subs, the cashier was telling people to go around me & check out. During that subs were getting mixed up & this has happened to me before and when I got home I had a different sub. During this visit, I asked them to put names on mine so that wouldn't happen this time, they did. When I was at the end, I was missing a sub. I told the guy I needed my Italian Sub. He seemed like he had no idea what I was talking about. He walked away & left me to the cashier for her to sort out. I was upset at this point he walked away. Her & I discussed what I was suppose to have & she said I will ring you up then go make the missing sub. I told her I had 5 foot longs & 1 6 inch. She rang up the foot longs only. When I told her the 6 inch sitting off to the side was mine, she replied oh I didn't ring you up for that one!! REALLY? So I had to pay again. Then had to work my way backwards through the line to tell her what I wanted on the sub they had to make for me. Thats when another stepped up & said, I will do that you go back to the register. This lady had no idea what type of sub it was etc. I had already told the cashier, so we started over. Every time Subway allows other customers to go around people getting their subs made, this type of situation happens. Subway needs a better system for keeping up with what customers are ordering. My teen son said during the ordeal, a lady behind the line asked the guy what a sub was (it was sitting by itself off the line on a back counter by the oven) He said he didn't know... was that the missing sub for my order? I work in food service, focus people, focus!
