Nostalgic visit after decades
4 of us went to Meyappan after the St Annes Church Service. My trip after a long time. Service was fast and the food as good as the old days I used to work in Port Kelang in the 1980s and have been here many times Thovial was great. We had mutton, fish fried, goats interstices and all was to our taste Will continue to come again. Price was comparable to other Chettinad places in PJ / Klang
Tasty Food
Really tasty food. Their chicken varuval damn tasty. The puthina thuvaiyal was amazing. Very reasonably priced banana leaf meal i would say. Will go again to their tasty food.
Banana leaf galore
If you are looking for reasonably priced banana leaf meal, Meiyappan is the place to go. The chicken varuval and squid peretal are must tries. While the fried fish was normal, the pieces are more generous than what is offered at other Indian restaurants. The rasam is refreshing and the brew coffee adds a wonderful finale! Its street is not listed but its famous with locals in the area.
