Service at Pueblo bonito rose
We ate several times at Maru nostrum at the Pueblo bonito rose. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well as the different themed dinners. The service provided by Mercedes Garcia and Angel were exceptional. They were on top of everything while we ate. If you are staying here, request them as your servers!

We love it here and have been coming for decades, but this year was one of the best yet because of the excellent customer service provided by Mercedes Garcia at Mare Nostrum. She created a great experience for us each day with her kind spirit, quick work, and attentiveness. Top notch and very caring staff! Excellent views. Mercedes Garcia and Angel at the Breakfast Buffet (Mare Nostrum) were so fantastic. She took care of us each morning with a big smile on her face, she remembered our names and drink orders. Always had a plate of bacon ready for my husband. Angel always made sure our drinks were full and that we were happy. Mercedes and Angel were the reasons we went back each morning of our trip to this restaurant, despite having access to many other restaurants. **We did not stay at the Pueblo Bonito Rosé. We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito next door, but had access to all the restaurants and facilities at all the Pueblo Bonito Resorts in Cabo.
Excellent service
Our experience with PBRose was excellent 👌, we ate at Mare Nostrum breakfast buffet almost for our 2 weeks stay and we are very happy w / the food and most specially the excellent service from our favorite waiters Jonathan, Mercedes & Angel, we will be back soon 😍

A solid Americanized buffet.
Mare Nostrum is the main restaurant which happens to be a buffet, at the Pueblo Bonita Rosé. I thought the breakfast buffet was better than dinner buffet. I found the Sunday Brunch to be the best. Plenty of options to choose from. It's put together decently and the visual presentation is brilliant. It's a solid buffet, but very Americanized, I reckon the food could use more flavor... The wait staff is pleasant, attentive and on top of your needs.

Evaristo at mare nostrum breakfast / brunch is the epitome of a fine dining waiter. He anticipated and fulfilled our needs / empty anything without our even asking. He also did this without intrusion. Highly recommend visit this restaurant and looking for him when you visit. We praise and applaud his excellent service.
Best First Night in Mexico
My 3 girlfriends and I arrived at Pueblo Bonito Rose late in the evening on a Wednesday. We wandered into Mare Nostrum for our first meal. It was a quiet evening, but the servers noticed our laughter and excitement of being in Mexico filling the atmosphere. Our server Antonio was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. After ordering one round of drinks, we had multiple different servers bringing us different drinks to try! We were introduced to Baby Mango's which became a group favorite throughout the trip. Leo and Braulio made us laugh and helped us keep the party going! We had a fantastic first evening at the resort because of all of these fantastic servers. We saw them at different events throughout our stay and they always said hello and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay! Thank you Antonio, Leo and Braulio for making our experience at Rose so fantastic!
The Best Service in Cabo
Came into Mare Nostrum because it was at our hotel but came back multiple times because of the amazing service. Breakfast with Ulises and Vicente were absolutely the best service we could've asked for. Made us feel at home and always was made us laugh. I genuinely enjoyed starting off every morning in cabo with them. They always were ready for us to order drinks, brushed up on our spanish, and were amazing all around. Dinner service Pedro is seriously the best. He always made sure our table was cleaned, cleared our plates, and definitely made sure we always had drinks. He went out of his way to cater to us and definitely always gave us a great laugh. Seriously came back our last night just because of Pedro. Also, didn't catch his name but the guy working in the same section at Pedro that came to our table was amazing as well.
delicious food amazing staff
We went here four times during our short trip. Breakfast has a lot of variety! There's also an omelette bar! The green juice and agua frescas were always delicious as well. When we sat down, our waiter Ulises went straight into asking how many mimosas. He was very attentive and collected all our plates quickly. We went back the next day, but decided to eat inside. We had Vicente as our waiter and he was just as nice to us!! So welcoming_but instead today he offered us screwdrivers. :) Ulises did see us and asked why we did not want to sit outside, but we had a great time with both. They even tried to remember all of our names. For dinner, the first night, the theme was " grill " where there was beef, pork, and chicken on a table grill that someone cut for us. It was delicious. Our waiter was Pedro. He was so great! He took so much care of us and really gave us personal care. We liked him so much we came back the night after to just sit around for drinks, have a few munchies and hang out with him. I'd be happy to just dine here and hang out with the waiters while they work because they make it look easy!
Awesome service! Pedro's the best!
My friends and I had an amazing time every time we dined at Mare Nostrum. It had such great food and drink options, and was super convenient since we were staying at the Rose. This restaurant was included in the all-inclusive package, and was so worth it since you could come here for any mealtime to grab a bite or a drink even if you weren't planning on having a full meal. On top of the food being great, what really made it special was the service. All of our servers greeted us with kindness and made our dining experience extra enjoyable. They were attentive, made us laugh, and were so friendly and helpful. If you're going for breakfast, definitely request Ulises if you're dining outside, or Vicente if you're dining inside. They made our dining experience so memorable. For dinner, ask for Pedro. He went so above an beyond with our group that we had to request him again on our last evening even though we had just gone to another restaurant for dinner. We couldn't leave without one last hoorah with our favorite waiter. You won't regret it! We're already talking about coming back.
Great Service
We arrived too early for the main restaurant; they seated us on the deck, and we ordered off the pool menu. They were very accommodating, including providing a wheelchair for our friend. The view of the harbor was fabulous. A great first evening in Cabo. Note that this restaurant is inside the Pueblo Bonito hotel. We had to go to registration and set up an account to eat there.

Emmanuel at restaurant Mare, went above and beyond to make our experience lovely. Thank you, again!! So many delicious choices and always topped off my wine!! Can't beat that!! Emmanuel will always accommodate your every need... as will almost all the employees there!

Best Restaurant Experience!
If you book a trip to Pueblo Bonito Rosé don't miss out on the dinner service at Mare Nostrum. It is a different theme every night of the week, buffet style with cooking stations to get fresh, personalized meals that were always satisfying. While the food was great, our service was beyond great! We went back almost every night of our stay just to sit in Adrian's section. He was by far the most accommodating, friendly, funny, and polite server we had_and everyone's service is top notch! He found out we were celebrating a birthday and he went into the kitchen to get us a special dessert and brought out his fellow coworkers to sing 'las mañanitas'! He was an absolute gem!! Muchísimas gracias, Adrián!!!
Mercedes made our trip!
We stayed at Pueblo Bonito Rose to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. We enjoyed a change of pace at Pueblo Bonito Rose, as we generally stay at the larger resorts on the Caribbean side. We were traveling with a big group and figured we wouldn't be able to sit together for breakfast or meals in general. However, Mercedes Garcia Cira at Mare Nostrum put together a big table for us so we could all sit together for brunch and have mimosas! She went out of her way to help us, and we were so grateful! Mercedes was so sweet, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the restaurants and resort. She was also so much fun to talk to! She made us feel at home in Cabo, and we look forward to seeing her next time! Thank you Mercedes for making our stay so special!
Dinner with Ruhelio
We had dinner two nights with large parties of 21. We had such great service from Ruhelio. He made our dinners great and even sang for us! Would visit him again and again.
Restaurante Service
We received excellent service from our waiter, Isarael. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience and keeping our 4 year old happy with his favorites. We recommend Mare Nostrum at Pueblo Bonito Rose at Los Cabos.
Awesome place for breakfast
Love having breakfast here when we stay at the Rose or Blanco. Cannot beat the view and the service is amazing and friendly. Our waiter Vicente Riojas was so awesome with our group every morning. Made our time at the restaurant even more enjoyable and gave us all some great laughs. Definitely ask for Vicente when you're there. Just a great spot for taking in the view, the food and the hospitality.

Vincente is the best server I have ever had anywhere! We ate here every day for breakfast and always asked for him. The food was good but the service was the best. If you eat here for breakfast or lunch ask for Vincente. Gracias for your service and friendliness!
Great food, Amazing service
During our week vacation at Pueblo Bonito Rose' we ate at Mare Nostrum everyday. This is a buffet, but one of the cleanest with amazing tasting food. Our server Alberto was top notch. Great service, personality and friendly. Highly recommend!!
Best buffet experience
This place is more than a buffet. It is an assisted buffet so there are servers to bring you drinks and anything else you may want / need. In addition to a fresh buffet, there were a couple of stations where you could have food made custom in front of you (the empanadas were delicious). They have a culinary theme every night such as 'Mexican' or 'Grill' or 'Caribbean'. I went here twice with my family and both times we had Braulio as a server. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He made us laugh a whole lot but also gave us a pretty in depth education on the different types of Tequila and how they are made, following with a tasting! Thanks, Braulio, for the great memories!

Fun times at dinner
Vicente and Fernando did a great job taking care of our table. They were excellent servers and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting Mare Nostrum again on our stay. It was very fun!

Service is impeccable!
Okay so this is an " assisted buffet " but it can be very special with the right server! Try to get Daniel, Ulysses or Quinti. These guys work their tooshies off for their customers! The champagne glass is never empty, eggs Benedict brought over from the neighboring restaurant if you like, anything is possible with these guys! Very friendly and engaging every morning. Love these guys!

Mare Nostrum Buffet- pleasant surprise
We are staying at the Blanco using the all-inclusive for a few days. Went to Mare Nostrum for Mediterranean Night. Good food and great service (shout out to Pedro and Antonio). Nice views from the dining patio. A few trips to the buffet line with an enjoyable meal. You should take your time and enjoy!
Fantastic breakfast buffet!
We were staying at Sunset but took the shuttle to Rose to walk to Cabo Church on a Sunday morning, Oct 24, 2021. We wanted to try the breakfast buffet / brunch at Rose's Mare Nostrum-best meal we have had at both resorts! Service was also impeccable for being a buffet! Our waiter, Quinti, was very professional, courteous, conscientious, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend their Sunday morning brunch!
One of the best in the Pueblo Bonito restaurant family!
Extremely high-quality. We are staying at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset resort, but visited the beach and Pueblo Bonito rosé and Blanco today. We had such an excellent experience for lunch today at restaurant Mare Nostrum, including superior service from Mauricio that we made reservations and returned for dinner. Tonight was an enormous Mexican food buffet which featured typical local dishes which everyone enjoyed immensely. Outstanding service from Pedro, Aiden and our concierge Aide. We have been in the resort and in Cabo San Lucas for several days and today's meals were the best we have had so far this week!
Dinner with Family
We visited Pueblo Bonito with family and Pedro Guzman at the restaurant Mare Nostrum has been by far the best! He has taken care of our family at every chance! He's so accommodating and he felt like part of the family (he is in the picture) ! We caught a fish during our stay and he made sure it was cooked to perfection and served family style! His assistant Adrian Alvarez has been amazing as well. Areli the hostess was super nice and accommodating too!

Pedro and Adrian are absolutely AMAZING! You must ask for them to serve you at Mare Nostrum! They go above and beyond to give you the best service every night! Areli is also great! When looking for places to eat you will want to ask for them every night!
Mare Nostrum-Victor Agundez
Victor is one of the best waiter Cabo has. He is very sweet and kind. He always knows how to comfort me and my friend and always gives us the best advice and resources to take advantage of our trip. He communicated and checked up on our table everyday we ate at the Mare Nostrum to be sure that we were satisfied and happy. He made conversation and never let us feel left out even when we were not eating. I've never felt so comfortable so far from home and so welcomed. He always brought out anything we needed and sometimes he even brought out things that were so unexpected. He is the best. Thank you Victor for everything!
Breakfasts with Ulises
Ulises our server in the mornings at mare nostrum was beyond perfect. I have no complaints and too many compliments. He is part of the reason I will come back to the resort again with family or friends. He is so fantastic!
Jose Luis
Jose Luis was our server during most of our stay. He is such a sweet young man! He is an incredibly attentive server, and he made sure we were well cared for each morning. He remembered out drink orders and our favorite breakfast items. He made us feel a part of something special. We cannot wait to come back and visit again next year!
Adrian, Pedro & Antonio
Outstanding service by these 3 fantastic hombres!!! They made our whole entire stay memorable. They learn your name, your drink order, your allergies and your likes. They are truly amazing. I can only imagine how many customers they meet and provide top notch service to all of them. I will miss their service most when I go home. No other waiters like them.
We LOVE Adrian Torres and Pedro!!!
They were truly the kindness people that served us 90% of the time! They were polite and took the time to know all 5 of our names and what our usual drink orders were even though they serve so people all throughout the day. So sweet! We only wanted to sit in their section. They put up with our laughing and singing and made our time at breakfast, lunch and / or dinner enjoyable! The hotel front desk staff should really take some pointers on how they value every person who sits in their section. Love these two! # TeamAdrian & Pedro

Lovely Sunday Brunch
We stay at Rose often in studios, one bedrooms, 2 bedrooms and all the PH's It's a pretty resort and close to many beach restaurants you can access from the beach. I guess the highlight of our week is relaxing at the Sunday Brunch. We never miss it. Thank you to Samuel who is outstanding as a waiter and Alma and Carmen the lovely hostess. Spring breakers by the hundreds were in the house so beware of that if you travel spring break. We don't mind at all but some do.
The Mare Nostrum
We spent the week in Cabo at the Pueblo Bonita Rose. We had breakfast every morning at The Mare Nostrum and the service and food was amazing! Ezequiel and Quinti were our servers and they were excellent! Friendly, personable, kind and very efficient! Every morning they would greet us with a cheerful good morning, their ability to remember faces, room numbers and what you like to eat and drink is a special gift they have! Very kind hearted people. Thanks for making it so enjoyable! We will definitely be back! Samuel was also an excellent server! Enjoyed having him wait on us, also!
10 Days in Cabo
We ate breakfast at Mare Nostrum every morning except for the day we went fishing. Ezekiel was our server and he had our table, our coffee, our drinks, AND our bacon waiting for us every day when we walked up. Food was delicious and there was an incredible variety including made-to-order empanadas and omelettes. All of the staff was amazing. Ezekiel even hooked us up with the chef who prepared the fish from our fishing trip for dinner one night. I would highly recommend Mare Nostrum.
Mare Nostrum Breakfast
Fabulous! The breakfast buffet at this restaurant was so excellent we didn't go anywhere else! The custom omelette bar was my husband's favorite, the chilaquiles and trimmings was mine. I appreciated there was no self-serve at the buffet; instead, a masked staff member would walk along and ask your selections under each chafing dish, making sure everything was completely sanitary and safe. A fresh empanada bar was fun, the bacon incredible, and the tequila sunrises and mimosas matched the sunrise over medrano bay perfectly. I wish I had gotten other names of the excellent waitstaff, but Vincente always took excellent care of us! Highly recommend!
Mare Nostrum Review
We were lucky to have Evaristo as our waiter two days in a row. He was attentive and he even remembered that we drank cappuccino. Breakfast is pretty good and the view is spectacular. We will definitely be back.
Lovely Sunday brunch includes champagne
We never miss the Sunday Brunch while in Cabo. The service is great. Thanks Samuel! The setting is nice and distancing is good. There is a server who will serve what you want from the buffet. NO touch. Bottomless champagne.
Outstanding food and incredible service!
My husband and I have been going to Pueblo Bonito Rosé since 2006. We love it there, we enjoy the food and especially the outstanding service. One waiter who always goes above and beyond spectacular service is Pedro. This trip he was not serving in the sushi bar and we went looking for him and found him at Mare Nostrum. Not only did we have a great dinner we had the best service!! Thank you Pedro for always making us feel so special!
Good food beautiful view of Lands End
Fettuccini was good, I'm just not a fan of octopus. The carrot cake was light and airy I actually could not tell it was carrot. The Miami Vice Drinks were also good just not mixed half strawberry daquari / pina colada (more pina). They had gr8 Pork Verde on the breakfast buffet. Pretty much do to covid you said what you would like to eat & the servers brought to your table to consume.
Absolutely awesome
My husband and I stayed at the Pueblo Rose during our stay in Cabo. While eating breakfast here we had the absolute please of meeting Vincente. He was outstanding. He took our orders even though we could go in and ask for our food ourselves. He made sure our drinks never stopped. He is so full of energy which is perfect in this climate with Covid. He really made our stay so much special. We looked forward to seeing him every morning. Vincente if you get to read this, thank you for your great spirit and infectious laughter. 💕. We will come back just to see you.
Great Views Good Food Amazing Staff
We are breakfast here every day and some lunches while staying at the resort. The place is very clean and there is a variety of food choices. The menu has changes daily. The staff are what make this place 5-Star. Carmen the hostess is gracious, accommodating and tried to help us expand our limited Spanish. Ezekiel, Samuel, Jorge, Marisol, Gilberto and the other waiters remembered our drink preferences and offered spot on recommendations. Ezekiel especially was attentive to my elderly mother in law which pleases her to know end. Gelda and LiLi were at the carving and omelet stations always ready with a smile and patient with customers making their selections. The views from the patio are amazing and the staff attentive for your comfort level of sun and shade. They also provided hat, coat and purse holders near the table. Over all a very well run restaurant.
Mare Norstrum
This restaurant is situated on the best beach in Cabo. In the grounds of the pearly pink Pueblo Bonito Rose resort. Theme nights include sumptuous buffets of seafood, Italian specialties and Asian cuisine. Very fresh and beautifully presented food. Our attentive waiter was Carlos Cortes. Gracias, Carlos, for making our meal extra special.
Lovely dinner
We have certificates from a TS presentation, settled on this place. Food was great and service was good. We had an ocean table to people watch. Food was better than our small hotel next door! We had a 3 course meal and a bottle of great Mexican wine for 100.00 us. I think we will be going back.

Con Excelente ubicación PRIME para cena y fiesta de fin de año al igual el desarrollo del plan en la cena de año nuevo. El Servicio fue Excelente tiempos y logística. A pesar de que la cena fue bufete la comida fue muy muy rica y su totalidad. Grupo de Música en vivo con buena variedad y ambiente. Super vista de la playa el Medano y show de los cohetes juegos pirotécnicos impresionantes. En Pueblo Bonito muy Privado e independiente, Privado y abierto al mismo tiempo sin molestia de los demás restaurantes que se encuentran en la playa lado a lado pegaditos y saturados con la música fuerte no se distingue cual es cual. Totalmente recomendable!
Great restaurant, great food
We ate at this restaurant a lot - breakfast and most of the dinners. This restaurant have great food at the buffet. The waiters very friendly - the best of all is Samuel and Ulises. This restaurant have very nice view at the ocean. We like this restaurant very much. Every Sunday awesome brunches.
Brunch dominical
Es un buen restaurante para la comida diaria, especialmente cuando traes el todo inlcuído, pues no es barato para la comida que se sirve pero el brunch dominical es algo SOBRESALIENTE, la variedad y calidad muy buena. No se cual sea el precio d contratarlo pues era parte del todo incluído.
Buffets rule
We ate here most every day as part of our all inclusive package for Pueblo Bonito Rose resort. Most of the time, the service was great. There was a large variety of food choices, and it was all you could eat always. For breakfast, you could get your eggs cooked any way you wanted, and I enjoyed the endless supply of mimosas and " green juice. " Lots of fresh, local fruit as offered as well. The drawback is the bold, bold sparrows who swoop in to try and get whatever food they can, and at every opportunity, they are eating off of the spoons that people use to dip into the buffet dishes. You also have to look at your seat before you sit so that you don't sit in bird poo. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, and the servers were very friendly, especially when you tipped them well.
Pretty good lunch spot
We ate lunch here one day, the service was a little on the slow side but very friendly. The food was pretty good, I had the hawaiian pizza and my husband had chicken nachos, we would definitely return.
Over-Rated
Before Rose going All-Inclusive this restaurant was pretty darn good. Now it is just another cruise ship style over-rated restaurant. The value is no longer there and the nose-in-the-air attitude is not warranted. Unless you have been sucked into the All-Inclusive -- stay away.
Pretty good, if you're on all-inclusive, but not great
This is the main restaurant at Pueblo Bonito Rose, available on the all-inclusive plan. They have a buffet breakfast daily with definitely enough to chose from - made-to-order omelets and eggs, waffles / pancakes, chilaquiles, fresh fruit, pastries and bread, beans, quesadillas, etc. Generally pretty pricey at $22, but now discounted to $16. They also served Champagne brunch on Sunday, and lunch off-the-menu. For dinner, they served buffet w / different themes nightly: Mon-Mediterranean, Tue: Grill; Wed: Seafood, Thur: Asian; Fri: Mexican; Sat.: International. We liked the Mexican buffet; didn't like the Mediterranean or International so much. Overall, not great, but always found at least a few things we liked - I'd rate it a solid 3 for average.
The PB Rose inclusive buffet..
Great service, food and selection!!! We had at least 2 meals a day here and thought is was great!!! It use to be a sit down restaurant, but on it's a buffet.
Nice restaurant, exspensive for a buffet
My wife and I stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Rose for a week and ate at the restaurant numerous times. We purchased the Premium meal plan and ate primarily at the Pueblo Bonito properties. We had the Sunday Brunch which was good, but not outstanding. We ate and upgraded meal of Steak & Lobster one night (a $39.00 USD per person upcharge) which was great. We had Dinner and breakfast through out the week. Nothing really stands out and the prices were expensive for a buffet. $45.00 USD each for dinner and $23.00 USD for breakfast. If we had not purchased the all inclusive we probably would have eaten at more places off the property as I believe we could have found better food for less money.
Dinner at the Mare Nostrum Resturant
Although I did not stay at the Rose, I had an opportunity to have Dinner at the Mare Nostrum Restaurant. The Hostess Areli Valle was so accommodating she made me feel right at home. Her graciousness was only overshadowed by our server David Cdlixto. He went out of his way to find some milk for my 3 year old daughter. It's our first time in Cabo San Lucas and not only were we pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Pueblo Bonito but were very happy to have spent time at the Mare Nostrum.
Beautiful view, good variety of food
This restaurant is the 2nd restaurant in the Pueblo Bonito Rose resort. Mare Nostrum offers Breakfast, Lunch and themed Dinners. We liked the food variety at the Breakfast buffet. We also tried their buffet at the Mexican Fiesta night and the Mediteranean night. Good food, excellent service and a wonderful view. In the evening you can sit on the terrace overlooking Medano beach and the Sea of Cortez. Loved the ambience. Would definitely recommend it.
Mare Nostrum at Pueblo Bonito Rose
Mare Nostrum has the best buffet breakfast and dinner! The staff always go above and beyond to help us. For both meals, they took special care of my food prep due to my food allergies. The breakfast staff we want to mention are Christian, Samuel and the manager, Delma. They provide excellent customer service and super attentive. I also want to thank the dinner staff Carlos and Jonathon who served with such care and attention. Special thanks to Chef Sergio. Chef Sergio went above and beyond to care for my allergies at dinner. It has been a great experience at Mare Nostrum every day! So many people who were friendly, welcoming and had great food!
Wonderful dinner, very good Broadway show
My husband and I enjoyed excellent service, a wonderful dinner and the Broadway show was very good. Of course we're not on Broadway, but the music and dancing were great! My husband says the chocolate cake was very good! Well done team. Highly recommend.
Dishonest staff
Came off the beach for the buffet breakfast. After being told that the breakfast included mimosas and sitting down, we were then told it didn't. After making it clear we wanted to stick within what was included since the breakfast was pricey ($27), we were offered smoothies, water, and other things that weren't included. We were then hit with a huge bill after our breakfast. After having to argue about not being told about what was not included, they offered 10%. Bill was almost $150 for 2 adults and 2 kids, one a toddler who ate nothing. I would never come back here after the way I was treated. Go next door to Cascades resort and have a much better meal for about 1 / 5 the price.
BREAKFAST HEAVEN
We ate here every single morning since we were staying at the Pueblo Bonito Rose Resort and it was amazing! They have a massive selection of breakfast and brunch on the weekday buffet as well as a " buffet on steroids " on Sundays! Erika, the omelet lady, became my best friend haha. She was awesome and so is Amaris!! We miss this buffet and can't wait to go back!!

This was our first visit to Cabo for our family vacation of 11 people. We had an exceptional Experience upon check in our two junior suites where upgraded to the presidential suite by our concierge because one of our rooms was not yet ready. After a full day of traveling we where ready to hit the buffet at the Mare Nostrum where we meet the greatest server, Pedro!! He was so attentive, personable and friendly. He instantly became part of the family. Each time we visited the buffet it was like going to visit an Uncle's house because Pedro made us all feel so comfortable and welcome!! During dinner on Friday we kept saying we had to remember to make reservations for the Saturday party but after eating and excitement to hit the beach it slipped our minds to make the reservation before we could get out of the restaurant Pedro caught us and asked if we needed him to reserve a table for us and he did. During our last dinner after weeklong trip our 4 children (who always sat at at table by themselves) asked Pedro if we could take a picture with him so our album would be complete!! Pedro did an amazing job he made our stay amazing!! Our vote defiantly goes to Pedro!!
customer service and etiquette very poor
The hostess valessa andthe managers alfred and apollo were very rude and made the 5 of us squeeze na small booth inspite of requesting 2 tables to be put together The server brought us a plate of fries and dropped it all over the table and then scooped it up on my daughters plate. so much for such a highly rated place then as we were done eating the same hostess puts 2 tables together for somebody else.
Poor service
Wait staff takes FOREVER. Reservations required but your table is never ready upon arrival if you have more than four people.
Avoid at all costs
I'd rather eat several bags of chips from their deli than return here. Service is horrible and only surpassed by the food. This was the only place open on a Sunday night and the only option was the buffet. Salad bar was edible but the grill leaves a lot to be desired. I think they precook everything and serve it when ordered. Grilled shrimp was luke warm, and all the meat was medicore at best. For $30 per head with 16% tax + gratuity, it's a very poor value.
Breakfast buffets great, nice setting
We ate here as part of the all inclusive plan with Pueblo Bonito resorts. Breakfast buffet was good, with nice variety. Omelets were made to order and were very tasty. We ate our evening meal here twice; once on the patio overlooking the ocean on a warm night. I had a flank steak, grilled perfectly to order on their outdoor barbecue. The second time we were " on our own " and took advantage of one of the theme nights. We were seated farther back in the restaurant this time; buffet items were OK, but nothing spectacular. We were a party of eight and the service was OK.
Mare Nostrum restaurant service
We have a party of 6 and asking for pretty specific seating at Mare Nostrum. Danae' A. was so very pleasant, patient and accommodating! Always has a smile and always does everything in her power to help with such grace. Very professional and kind. Also, The food is always fresh and great selection.
