Terribl
Terrible, fish was soggy and small. Fries were frozen and soggy. Last couple times were good but will not be back, expensive for crap. Too bad as we need more good restaurants in this town.
Disappointed
Sadly this place has gone downhill, smaller portions, which considering the price is ok, our fish was overdone, chips were good.
Great Fish and Chipd
Found this place by accident when hiking around the harbour. Really didn't look like much but lots of people were eating there so we tried it out. Absolutely great fish and chips eaten by the water. A perfect lunch for a lovely day
A good spot for fish and chips
A great spot for some good portions of haddock and fries. They also offer some local micro brew. Seating area next to the water but part of the parking lot. No restrooms but there was a porta John close by. A good spot if you are looking for a fish dinner.
Don't go!!
Used to like this place. Will not go back. Owner was super rude and costs keep going up and portions get smaller. That 'special' salt they use, can't even taste anymore.
Great spot
Great food. A little pricey but friendly, fast and very tasty. Outdoor and indoor seating and a pretty extensive menu.
A hidden treasure
This modest little fish & chip take out outlet is hidden away beside the salt mine. They do not advertise normally. I firmly believe it is the very best restaurant in Goderich. Fantastic prices, above average food & very efficient service. Open all year. I have not enough nice things to say about this place and the owner. Great job!

Fish and Chips, British Style
This place has great, old-fashioned fish and chips, and an interesting setting, with lots of outdoor tables, beautiful flower planters, and is located right by the lake. We weren't sure of where to park at first, but there is plenty of parking behind the restaurant. A sign indicating that at the corner out front would be helpful. The many, many choices of salt and vinegar flavours were interesting; we haven't seen that at any other fish and chip place. We were served quickly, getting our dinners about 10 minutes after we ordered, on a Saturday during noon hour. This restaurant is a bit out-of-the-way, but definitely worth seeking out if, like us, you really like fish and chips!
Traditional Fish and Chips
I don't know why this isn't listed as the best place to eat in Goderich. Ideal casual take out. Lots of clean outside tables. Ample parking. You get a large portion of fish and chips. Cooked perfectly. Really takes me back to my favourite dinner from any shore side summer vacation. The selection of salts and vinegar flavourings is a plus as well. Chicken salt was really good! Close to a great bridge and hiking trail. We have been going to Goderich for years but somehow never knew about this restaurant. We will definitely be back.
Incredible fresh fish and chips!
My husband and I love this place! The fish is fresh and so delicious and the fresh cut fries are incredible. Great portions at a very reasonable price! We always get a chuckle when the owner is in, he's really fun! We also love that he charges less for local craft beer than the other " crap " beers! We haven't been able to go when they've had live music yet but I'm sure that would make it even better. Don't miss this stop!

A surprisingly wide range of fish choices in this popular community outdoor location. Very tasty food; big portions; well worth the wait during busy periods. Be sure to visit during your trip to Goderich!
Good fish
Cool location.. served in news paper to add to the experience!! You do have to pay for ketchup and tarter sauce but we Don't mind. The owners make you pay so it's not their money wasted and thrown in the garbage un used. Portions are great. Have been here 3 times. Very consistent!!
