Great Way to learn a new skill

Excellent way to learn a new skill or brush up on some forgotten ones in a fun and friendly environments. Warm, friendly and experienced teachers take you through the basic steps of knitting and crochet and in a three hour workshop you can expect to make either a beanie or a granny square. The classes a held in a lively cafe with drinks provided and it is a fun and relaxed environment with everyone achieving a great result by the end of the workshop. Highly recommended for people wanting to develop their crafty skills

Pub crotchet

The class was relaxing and enjoyable afternoon spent learning to crotchet. The teacher was patient and made learning to crotchet easy. If you take this class make sure you get a copy of the notes, we weren't able to take the instructions but we're promised we would be emailed a copy. I still haven't received an email even after two requests to classie which have gone until answered. If you are a complete novice to crotchet I would suggest possibly a different class where you would get written instructions to keep. I don't think it is too much to ask for the fee you pay for this class.

Perfectly organised, very well led

This was a fun and well-priced half day out in my own city. Hannah is warm and organised. The three hours was well paced with three separate spots to draw. Each varied in type and was accompanied by a short chat on the suggested technique. Recommended.

Pub Crochet

Great class, met in CBD Melbourne. As a complete beginner to crochet, the teacher 'Manna' was accommodating with my questions, mistakes etc She showed us what to do as a group and then gave as 1:1 support as needed. Highly recommended- I can now chain and treble stitch!

Ladies day out

As a friendship group we decided to something a little different and step outside our comfort zone. This turned out to be a really pleasant experience. Our tutor Shannon helped us all achieve beyond our greatest hopes. It was fun and satisfying.

Introduction to Knitting in a Pub

This class was excellent. The instructor was kind, cheerful and extremely helpful to my friends and I, who had never knitted before. Being located in a pub is a great idea, as it's a relaxed atmosphere and quite enjoyable. My friend managed to complete her beanie by the end of the class, and I had learnt enough to take the skills home and complete mine that evening. Having all required equipment provided, plus a free drink as well, means that this class is definitely value for money. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is thinking of learning to knit, or even those who know how to knit - as it is a great afternoon out! I feel that I know the basics now, and am attempting to knit a scarf!

Secret Sketch Crawl of Melbourne

The sketch crawl is an informal group gathering in Melbourne CBD where the teacher and guide moves the group around different parts of Melbourne to focus on certain topics to draw. There is the opportunity to try different mediums like charcoal and pastels and the opportunity to ask questions to sharpen your drawing skills. The crawl was a relaxed affair where being a novice to drawing I felt comfortable in asking questions of our teacher and guide to broaden my knowledge. I found the class quite helpful in reawakening my passion for sketching and in experimenting in new medium. Our guide Shannon was polite, patient and easy going, helping the group feel at ease. Her depth of knowledge and insight was a great assistance. A fun and rewarding experience that comes highly recommended. Tickets are $40 for three hours at the time of writing. Reduced the mystery for older users & Lindsey is wonderful - feel much more confident. All basics covered

Great service and beats the " Apple " workshops. All questions and queries answered, tips and shortcuts were a real help along with functions I was unaware of.
