Fun spot to look at art
One of the few places I went into while walking along the street. Lots of beautiful work. I loved a ring in the front case too. Something for everyone here. The lady working even let me peek into the classroom.
A Highlight
This gallery displays all facets of art. I enjoy especially the quality of basket weaving, prints by Dawson, the pottery and Anne Veitch's Hollyhocks.... wish I had a million dollars; for that would be mine.
Loved the Variety
We enjoyed seeing a wide variety of items by many artisan from the area, the local art culture seems too be receiving more appreciation which I am so happy to see.
Unique and Dazzling Collection
Our wedding rings were commissioned by Penny, and could not be more pleased! Amazing quality and super cool. Highly Recommended to check it out!
Gravenhurst Granny
Set in what likely was a cinema in bygone years, this gallery was a treat. Many displays of many styles and techniques. Beautifully arranged; we admired paintings, pottery, metal sculptures, photography, and pieces of one-of-a-kind jewellery. There was also a room in which amature artists attend classes, so works in progress were on display.... very interesting! All in all, a pleasant stop on the main Street.

Only Muskoka Artists - Painting, Pottery, Stained Glass, Basketry, Fibre, Jewellery, Sculpture, Metalwork, Photography
I was so impressed with the calibre of work that I applied to be a member of this cooperative, artist-run gallery.. I've been there 2 years and love being part of this exceptional group. Come in to see what we have to offer!
what a great shoppe
thank you for featuring local artists. I have bought a couple of gifts from here and will continue to support the artists. I tell my city friends they need to visit your shoppe. keep up the good work
Intersting Gallery
Good gallery featuring a variety of work from fine art to sculpture mostly of high quality. Set in an old hotel it has nice architecture and good spaces indoors. Conveniently located on the main street.
Very small
They serve food here and the smell of garlic was overwhelming. It was hot day and they did not have the air conditioning on. The prices were very high.
Some fantastic artists!
The level of skill that the artists at Art at the Albion posess is outstanding. Definitely worth a visit.
Neat art!
Tempted by several things. A range of media, paintings, stained glass, sculpture. Some very talented local artists. A good use for an historic building.
unique gifts
A place to buy the unique, or the one of a kind gift for that special someone. A wide variety of artists have their merchandise displayed here. Paintings, jewelry and a wide range of items. You will definitely find would you are looking for.
Great art gallery / co-op
This little art gallery is well worth the stop if you like to see the creation of local artists. The place has the full range of artistic pieces (paintings, sculpture, mixed media, jewelry, textile art). The building in which it is housed is also very nice.
Wonderful artists Co-op
Local artists are featured in this historic building. Great variety of arts (painting, fabrics, metal, glass, jewelry, and more). Visit again and again. Always something new. All items are for sale.
Good use of a lovely heritage building
Nice little art and jewellery gallery. Right on the main street of Gravenhurst - on the east side. Lots to look at and items to purchase if you wish. Very lovely staff as well.
Beautiful shop
The art in the shop is top quality and love that it is all local. I purchased a few things and am loving all my new pieces of art.
Great art with great diversity
There is some really amazing art on display at this historic building, staffed by volunteers. Oil painting, watercolor, ironwork, stained glass, wood carving; there's something for everyone to view and enjoy here. I'm no expert in fine art dealing but the prices seem reasonable, enough so to sorely tempt me to buy a beautiful 3-foot tall canvas for only $250! Many cards available for usually $5 each and some beautiful gold-wire coasters for $10. It's well worth the time to stop here at the beautiful red building and at least browse these amazing works of art!
Arts at the Albion
Local Artists display their talent. Worth a visit! A historical hotel rejuvenated to display beautiful pieces of art and worked on a volunteer basis.
WOW!
This gallery is the best! I loved many of the exhibits. Nice works by all the artists. Something for everyone. The artist's take turns manning the shop... interesting to chat with them.
Arts at the Albion is a Must See!
You must cruise on through Arts at the Albion, a local artists co-op, on your next visit to Gravenhurst. Its a wonderfully diverse exhibit that really works. The collective contains sculptors, painters, potters, fabric artists and basket weavers. The prices are very affordable considering the high quality of the works.
Wonderful art and beautiful venue
The variety of artworks from metal sculptures to jewellery to paintings and pottery -- absolutely beautiful creations and a lovely restored historic property to set them off -- what could be better! I loved it. l
Where is the plein air painting
It could use more local landscape paintings, I am sure they exist. I liked the pottery and the stained glass but was disappointed with the paucity of oils and watercolours.
