Great Day at the Reno Aces Game

We had a great day at the Reno Aces Game on Sunday, September 8. Great seats on the 3rd base side, in the shade at gametime. The Aces Win! My grandson ran the bases after the game and took his photo with the team's mascots. Thank you, Max, for your help!

Great Experience

Baseball 1st timers. It was a fun friendly place, friendly people both the volunteers and fans. Red shirted Charlie from same country as us, know someone who likely knows a cousin. But it was his friendliness and others incl Blue shirted Charlie who made the effort to make us welcome. Avanti in concessions came and chatted as we new and out of country as wanted to ask what we liked about travelling the US. Game against LV didn't turn out as planned but it was a fun evening with fans happy to explain the rules as we went along. Both Charlies ensured we had used baseball as souvenirs. Really glad we went.

Nice triple-A stadium

This is a very nice minor league stadium with a fun atmosphere. Seating is pretty much all on the same level, making it easy to get around. Concessions were staffed by volunteers, and while prices were typical for a ballpark, service was a little slow. All in all, a nice place to catch a triple-A game.

Great Park, LOUSY Concession Stand Prices and Attitude

The ballpark is GREAT and I'm a BIG fan of the Reno ACES, but the concession prices are the worst I've ever seen. If you plan to buy a beer and hot dog, be prepared to spend north of $25 EASILY! To make things worse, 24 ounce canned Coors Light is $15, but if you buy a 24 ounce 'draft' Coors light, it's only $11.50. Not True! That would be what we call, False Advertising. It comes in a '20' ounce Coors Light logo'd plastic cup, which says, " 20 ounces " on the bottom of the cup. When I mentioned this to the concessions manager, her reply was, " it happens ". I'm not sure what that means.

April day game

Went to see the Aces play the Sugarland Space Cowboys, April 24'. The stadium was immaculate, the staff was friendly and helpful. They did lots of fun activities, to keep the fans involved, not that it was needed, because it was one of the best baseball games I've ever watched. Both teams had a lot of talent, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some of them go on to the bigs. Final score 10-9, better luck next time Aces.

Nightmare

Worst experience ever. People at gate super rude and confrontational. Walked 15 min by people doing drugs to find that we can't enter the stadium because my wife's bag was 1 inch too big. No lockers no options Horrible experance Negative 5 stars if possible

Evening with the Aces

The ballpark is walking distance from the downtown casinos, where you can get free parking. The Reno Aces are a AAA Minor League club, so you may see some future Major leaguers. If you want shady seats in the afternoon, get seats on the 3rd base side. Concessions are pricey but quality is good. Plenty of fun in between innings. Great family fun.

Beautiful evening game

We went to an Aces game. We had very good seats, but I don't think there is a bad seat in the stadium. The weather was fabulous. The activities and entertainment provided are enjoyable. The Aces won, which was a plus! I would return in the future. It is a good venue to enjoy baseball. The convenient downtown location gives easy access, as we walked to the game.

Well designed, very nice Ballpark

Great location, easy to use. Very nice sight lines and perfect atmosphere. Highly recommend this very reasonably priced way to enjoy baseball.

Aces game

Parking was close, beer was canned, chili dogs were good. Enjoyed just sitting there and watching the game.

Went to game 2021

Very poor stadium, very rude usher / security. The food is ridiculously poor and beer prices are way too expensive for a minor league ball park. Will never be back

Take me out to the ballgame

Great ballpark with a fun experience for the entire family. One of my favorite baseball venues. The park layout is unique. A 7th inning stretch like I've never seen anywhere else. Great for those who love homeruns. Menu has slowly improved at the concession stands.. but still needs upgrades in quality.

A Small Town Sports Experience with Talent

I am not really a baseball fan but my husband wanted to check this place out. It is right in downtown Reno and you can get free parking at one of the casinos. It is small enough that you feel like you are right there, very different from the big stadiums I have been to. I actually enjoyed the game. The home town fans are great! We have been to a Reno Aces game and to the Reno 1868 Soccer games. If you have a family and want to sit on the lawn in the backfield you still have a good view. It is a really fun experience

2019-10-24 23:06:36

Halloween

We went to the Halloween slaughterhouse located greater Nevada field. It's not the best Halloween location

My husband and I went with our grandson who lives in the Bay Area

We had a wonderful time. Very clean. A very nice ballpark. Being there with my grandson made it even better. He knows a lot about baseball. Enjoy a game at the park, I highly recommend it. In fact we have been to 3 games this year. Tickets are reasonable. Good seats every time.

2019-09-04 01:55:19

Nice games, bad food. bad service

Eat before you go to this park, the food is bad had to through out my hamburger and then the hot dog was cold. Stale peanuts, and along with the bad attitudes from someone called a manager who was a skinny kid with a radio following some girl around the park like a lost puppy. They need to change their food company if they contract them. And the beer was stale too.

2019-09-03 21:09:05

Fun Family Outing

We enjoy watching the Aces game or the soccer team. Would recommend. If you go to the aces game on sunday, you can get a hotdog, popcorn and drink for $1 each!

2019-08-20 11:20:52

Great little ballpark

Enjoyed a ballgame here recently. Small park. Easy in and out. Lots of baseball action. Very affordable.

2019-08-20 10:26:56

Really rough part of town

Dropped by during a practice day and wanted to look around. No dice. Security wouldn't let me in. Area is rough, and kinda dirty.

2019-07-04 17:44:14

Best Family Nite Out

Nothing like a good old fashioned baseball game under a Nevada sunset. Was there for my last 4th of July before moving out of the U. S. The fireworks display was phenomenal!

2019-06-16 14:49:24

Sweet Hometown Fun for the Family

Hometeam, The Aces has a clean and homey stadium, which is a great place to come with the family. Plenty of dining choices including concessions. There is observant security, and well-lit venues to enjoy the game.

2019-06-13 22:52:34

Great place to see a ball game

The Reno Aces aren't exactly a household name, but its a good place to take your kids to see a ball game. Evenings are cool and pleasant in Reno, and the price cannot be beat.

2019-06-08 10:00:30

Good option for a casual outing

Great place to watch a ball game with great views of the field from everywhere. Food service has improved from previous years but still needs attention. Reduced menu has cut down the lines but the wait for anything other than a hot dog or a burger can be twenty minutes or more. Prices are not outrageous but not cheap either. Very family friendly with a play area for kids and a grassy area to spread out a blanket. Fireworks on Fridays is always a treat.

2019-06-03 18:18:25

Fist time visitor that will definitely return

This was actually my first time going to see a baseball game. I came across the stadium by accident and decided to check it out. Luckily for me, the Aces were playing the Tacoma Rainers. The ticketing process is smooth, and the lady at the window was very friendly and even recommended good seating for me. I sat in the # 107 section, but to be honest, no matter where you decide to sit the views are great. It's not a really big stadium so the views are not an issue. There are also plenty of concession stands that sell a variety of foods, but unfortunately for me, there were no veggie burgers available when I was there. They do sell them though if you were wondering. So if you're into baseball or just looking for something fun to do in Reno, I would definitely recommend giving the Aces a look. The game was very entertaining. Kevin Cron is definitely a player to watch in the MLB, glad I got the opportunity to see him play.

2019-05-07 13:01:44

Great palce to watch a ballgame

Has become a tradition each time we visit Reno we go to an Ace game (if they are in town). It is a great place to get up close to the action

2019-04-30 18:22:59

Great Place Just To Stop By To See

Even though we were not there to see any activity, we are so glad we stopped in the gift shop. The young man who was rearranging the clothes (switching from baseball to soccer) told us so much about the field. Very nice selection of all types of shirts, etc. Would be a great place to watch a game.

2019-03-20 13:33:56

A place for family fun!

A great place for baseball & / or soccer, good food, plenty of parking nearby & a must do at least once.

2019-01-16 20:17:28

Aces Ice Skating

decent ice skating, skates were not the best, but worked enough to have some fun. could use more food options, then just a small popcorn cart.

2019-01-15 20:48:21

Soccer Night

We saw our 1st 1868 soccer game after we moved to Reno and really enjoyed the game. We sat in the grass area and had a great time and the view was good as well. It was a perfect night and my lady enjoyed being with her granddaughter. The beers were cold too. The stadium is very nice and the people were very friendly. We will be sure too go and watch the Aces play this coming season.

2019-01-01 00:28:25

Was treated with very high respect

The manager at food stand behind 101 took care of our needs when another stand messed up our order. Customer service took us direct to the manager of comstock stand and took care of us with no hesitation at all and told us that he will take care of it and not to pay. This kind of service is really needed more around Reno. Thank you so much.

2018-12-29 00:08:13

So fun

I really enjoyed watching the Aces. The place is so nice. This is a place that is family friendly and very reasonably priced. I always try to go at least once a season

Baseball in the Biggest Little City

It is so exciting to have a baseball team in our little slice of the world. This stadium is so much fun to go to. Sometimes the seats can get very hot and I will admit that the giant Baseball is a little scary but otherwise food is great and I love watching the game at this venue. We have such a great team.

2018-11-11 21:14:07

Let's play ball

We love coming here, the staff, players and mascots keep everyone entertained. The ball game is top notch players

2018-10-25 22:23:47

great place to watch soccer or baseball games

Fun place for many different events such as baseball or soccer games. They also have different events during the year such as Frightfest and the ice skating rink.

2018-10-02 18:17:57

Every seat has a great view!

Good food, not too crowded. kid friendly. I love the walking track which allows you to walk the whole parameter of the field. Sometimes I get fired up, and I need to move!

2018-09-06 22:20:42

Last of the season

We were lucky to catch the last game of the season this past Monday. A great ballpark with good food at a decent price. We missed the dollar menu on Sunday but was still good value. Parked right across the street so easy in and out. We had a great time and hope to catch another game next year.

2018-08-27 18:48:26

Very entertaining game

The ballpark is great, only blocks away from downtown (Gaming). The ballpark is very well maintained and user friendly, we all received a free hat with our paid ticket price which as far as games go was very reasonable, although our tickets didnt come in the mail like advertised they were more then happy to hold them at the ticket booth at the field for us and were very easy to work with, had a great time, a comeback win in the bottom of the ninth made it very exciting for my disabled son who is a big fan. if you go try to sit as close to the home (Aces) dug out and you'll be able to get free T-shirts and jerseys from the mascot, very friendly atmosphere, Thanks Aces

ALWAYS A FUN NIGHT FOR FRIENDS / FAMILY

Have been here every year for a sponsored event by NJC on the UNR campus, and it has always been a FUN time. Great little ballfield and seems like it is always good weather for a ballgame. Whether it is with friends, the family with or without kids, I can't imagine it not being a fun evening. Ballpark food, of course, and adult libations are not priced so as not to afford.

2018-08-21 11:24:25

Pocket rocket of a park

Fabulous small (5, 000-odd capacity) park, currently home to the AAA Reno Aces. If you're local, do yourself a favour and become a fan. If you're visiting, this is a great break from the smoky casinos. Highly recommended.

2018-08-20 14:24:52

Nice ballpark

Local, fun and inexpensive. Tuesdays are the best. Don't buy expensive seat, get cheap seat and go where you want. Never fills up. Have to go at least once a year.

2018-08-19 17:16:04

Charming Stadium

So nice to attend a stadium that is functional, clean, and offers enough variety of food and beverages without gauging patrons. Fans are fun and friendly vs drunk or nasty like you find in larger stadiums.

2018-08-17 16:18:57

Relaxing Evening Game

We stopped here for a game on our way through Reno. There were plenty of options for parking and we had a nice time. The game was packed and it was a fun crowd.... Nice people in Reno. We didn't stay for the entire game but it was a nice brief visit to Reno before heading out. Go enjoy a game......

2018-08-08 19:37:16

3rd base side

Lots of food and beverage options, be sure and walk around the park as server always items are available at only certain stations, most importantly sit on the third base side, a lot cooler and not looking into the sun.

2018-08-07 15:09:05

Beautiful Ballpark and good Team too!

Loved watching a baseball game at this beautiful little ballpark downtown! There isn't a bad seat in the house and the people are very friendly!

2018-08-07 11:53:25

Great spot for watching the Aces

This is a perfect sized stadium for minor league baseball - There are no bad seats and it's not difficult to get tickets. There is a good variety of food available, even healthy choices ! My personal opinion is one should have a dog and a beer, but to each their own.

2018-08-06 20:56:35

Enjoyable

I love watching a ballgame here. Seats are comfortable and affords a great view of the field. Wide variety of foods, beverages or snacks to suit a variety of preferences and needs.

2018-08-05 03:15:02

Old fashioned fun at ballpark

Fun evening with minor league Reno Aces baseball. Very nice break from casino strip. Cheer, clap to the music, & maybe even be shown on tv with a fan cam.

2018-08-02 12:35:29

What fun place to experience baseball at the triple AAA level

Easy to get tickets. Fairly priced for a relaxing evening of baseball. This evening was not crowded nor was it rowdy. I met a few folks that were regulars and some new to baseball as this was their first ever game live. Nice concessions folks, but there seems to be some really poor productions as one guy making hotdogs? It was obvious training young help was in process. I have helped in concessions clear back in college and this was poor in service of hot foods. Love the popcorn, soda and beer prices versus major leagues.

2018-07-26 14:29:46

Reno Aces

Right downtown parking is not too bad, just a great summer outing for the family to go watch a baseball game

2018-07-22 15:19:35

Cozy and nice

A smallish AAA field but it's new, well set up and really affordable. In the heart of downtown Reno so super convenient with lots of cheap parking within a block do the main gates.

2018-07-17 18:26:01

Been many times

Great field, great staff. Only once was I disappointed with the food. Have been there for Aces games, Reno 1868 FC matches, and fireworks. Always a good time. Plus they have a playground in the back for the kids. The box seats are a nice way to enjoy a game while staying out of the sun. If you go for trick or treating though, go early, because the lines are long and the boxes close up when they run out, so you miss out on some great decorations.

2018-07-11 20:01:47

Fun night out

My husband rented a suite for his coworkers and families to enjoy the night out. We had a buffet, drinks and comfortable seats inside as well as plenty of stadium seats right outside the glass doors to watch the game. The room had air conditioning but we chose to fully open the glass doors so it was easy to step out to the seats. The room attendants were very attentive and accommodating. We all had a great time and each person got a free baseball cap to take home.

2018-07-09 16:23:50

Beautiful Ball Park

Was visiting family in Reno last week and my favorite minor league team was in town so we decided to go catch a game at Greater Nevada field. It was a warm night but we got great seats behind home base in the shade. The ballpark is beautiful. I only had an issue with a couple of things. First the concession stand. The lines were long not due to the amount of people wanting food but the disorganization of the staff. By July this aspect should be running smooth but it was beyond disjointed. Be prepared if you want something from the main concession stand you will have to wait while a limited amount of people prepare your food. The other issue I had was the score board. I know this is just personal preference but I like it above center field. In Greater Nevada it is above left field. Aside from those 2 issues the Park is beautiful and very family friendly. I enjoyed my time spent there immensely.

2018-07-09 14:06:20

Great ballpark

Been here multiple times. Park is a great place to watch games day or night. Definitely a hometown feel, but if course very modern. Hopefully Reno can keep the team here.

2018-07-02 13:42:35

Beautiful stadium!

We love this stadium. Parking and access are convenient and reasonable. For a minor league venue, it has all the amenities you could hope for. There's a nice ProShop, fun adjacent restaurants, and plenty of food choices inside. The stadium is intimate, so there are no bad seats.

2017-08-28 19:07:21

Great Experience!

It does not get much better than this for Minor league baseball. We used to live in Eugene, OR where they had the Eugene Emeralds which is Class A short season affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. The Reno Aces and associated stadium are no comparison. It feels like you have the big leagues in a very nice stadium. It is also not like the big leagues. The crowds are smaller but the stadium is just as nice or nicer. We used Uber to get there and home which was very convenient. We had the opportunity of visiting the game and stadium in a suite for the company that I work with. What an experience! An air conditioned room with free food and beer. And, a view of the field that looks over the home plate to first base line. Granted, the amenities are only based on the dollars someone is willing to spend. But, we had everything we needed and free hats too. The service to ensure we were satisfied was very good as they checked on us multiple times. Again, the view and experience was amazing. Thank you for being here Reno Aces!

2017-08-18 18:06:08

Lots of fun. great stadium

A very nice stadium. pretty much every seat is a good one. Tickets were affordable and the place was clean and well maintained.

2017-06-12 12:23:30

Nice stadium

I was there a few days ago to watch a soccer game, I was pleasantly surprised the stadium is local to most hotels which makes getting there so easy. The pitch is in decent shape and great seating all around the stadium.

2016-08-17 17:01:36

LOOKS LIKE A GREAT PARK

Stopped by the stadium, the Ace's were on the road. Reno Ace's are the AAA team of the Snakeheads (Diamondbacks). I ask if i could go in and look around and take a few photos. They granted me permission. Walked around the stadium, looks like there are no bad sight-lines at all. They also have the minor league requisite best seats in the house, which does afford a great view. There is the team shop just prior to entering the stadium and numerous eating establishments within or close to the stadium. Wish i could have taken in a game, looks like a great stadium.

2016-07-03 10:41:09

Great way to spend time in Reno!

Located walking distance from the casinos (also downtown), this ball park is beautiful place to spend an evening if you are a baseball fan!

2016-06-22 17:35:32

Love it

What a fantastic day out. We watched our first baseball game here. Reno Aces V Salt Lake Bees! The two for $22 offer was so good. Cheap for a day out! Definitely recommend tourists check this place out!

2015-09-01 13:42:52

Great ballpark

Everything about the Aces ballpark is a 10 in my mind. Good food at reasonable prices, all seats are good, fun entertainment during innings and a very welcoming staff. Oh - and restrooms are pretty clean.

2015-08-30 12:39:21

How baseball should be seen

Aces ballpark is the best place to see baseball. It's small, only 9, 000 seats, but there is not a bad seat in the house. I grew up playing and loving baseball only to see my childhood hero's become a big business. The players on the Aces play ball with the joy that I remember. If you have a chance to see the Aces in Reno, do it. You will be transported to a simpler time.

2015-07-27 03:00:15

Aces Win; Fun Awards and Fireworks

We received complementary tickets from the El Dorado Casino to a Reno Aces game. Seats were great; the seats were 2 rows behind the dug out on the 3rd base side. The Aces won over the Las Vegas 51s. Since it was a high scoring game, we also received several coupons for 1) Free Gelato at Atlantis Casino; 2) Free Jack in the Box Taco; and 3) 1 / 2 off coupon for dinner at a local casino. We also enjoyed the between innings stunts We also liked watching the Reno Aces mascot and the cheerleaders. Fireworks at the end of the game were superb. It was an easy walk from the El Dorado Casino to the Reno Aces Baseball Park. We also had a nice view of the park from our room.

2015-07-16 23:03:15

Fourth of July

I have been coming to the Aces ballpark every July 4th for the last 4 years!! I absolutely love this place! The food is good, the drinks are wonderful and the fireworks after the game were amazing!! Will definitely be back!!

2014-10-14 23:02:29

Take me out to the ball park

This is such a great ball park and not a bad seat in the park. Great restaurants near by if you don't want ball park food.

2014-03-19 18:12:23

Great place to see a game - lots of fun; good food

We have enjoyed seeing many games at this excellent baseball park in downtown reno - easy walking distance from the downtown casinos. The park is great - good viewing from all seats. Good variety of baseball park food to buy and enjoy. The side shows (i. e. cheerleaders, Archie - the Reno Baseball Mascot) are all so fun to watch. And the 7th inning stretch is always such fun here. Worth going; fun baseball forum.... and have gone last summer and its mid March... so will be going again soon with the 2014 season opening soon. Parking - there is a parking structure across the street - or if you are staying in downtown Reno casinos hotels just walk to the game and back.

2013-08-16 00:49:53

A Gem for Reno

The Aces ballpark is right downtown just a short stroll from Harrah's. It is a very well designed ball park with not a bad seat to be had. This ball park is most definitely a Gem for Reno. For me, the only draw back is having to pay $10 dollars to park on game day at the casino's parking garages and other parking areas any where near the park, but I got around that by valet parking and gave a $2 dollar tip to the valet driver. If you've been wanting to go to a game, and you're going to be in Reno during the Baseball season, this is a MUST DO. The prices for tickets are very reasonable, much more so than the prices for beer and food, but, that is how it is at ball parks every where. Another Highly Recommended venue.

2013-06-27 15:46:44

A Nice AAA Park

For Reno taxpayers this hasn't been the greatest deal, but from an aesthetic view it is a beautiful park. I don't think anything but baseball games have been featured here (it was touted for concerts and other things when originally proposed), so if you're not a ball fan it might not be something to do while visiting. If you are visiting, and staying downtown, then walking to the park is your best bet. Parking can be expensive, and the normally free places (e. g, Harrah's) charge $10 on game day. If you do have a car, one option is the side street (Museum Dr.) for the National Auto Museum entrance. It's free for night games as the meters only go to 5 or 6 pm. The parking lot itself usually has a guy selling spots. There is a walkway under the bridge where you pop up and cross the river and are at the park.

Not Friendly To Out Of Towners

We had one day to visit Reno and purposefully waited to buy our tickets because of passing showers in the forecast. As game time approached, there was lightning in the distance, but no rain. Thinking that we were safe, we purchased our tickets and went in the stadium. Unfortunately, it did start to rain in the bottom of the first inning and a rain delay was called. As forecast, the rain did pass but apparently the facility could not be properly drained and the game was called. Announcements were made that tickets could be exchanged for future games, but this would not help our party as we live in Los Angeles. The people at customer service would not help us and just repeated that refunds are not available even if there was no way for us to attend a future game this season.

2013-07-22 19:23:21

Not fun!!

I have to confess I hate baseball!! Went to the game to try and connect with our new home towns baseball team. The location and facility is awesome. The service and staff are terrible!!! We got checked three times by the same lady for our tickets within 5 minutes. One with full hands even though she said " I recognize you " ??? The food servers were slow. One type of beer was not coming out of the keg and it wasn't even the first inning. I watched one poor guy wait for 10 minutes and be handed the wrong order three times!!!! The prices were ridiculous and the food taste was bland at best. When we visited the gift shop they did not want to let my son in because he had a water bottle?? Then the same guy acted like we committed a robbery when we tried to go out the same door we came in. Never thought baseball could be made worse but this place is a joke. Don't waste your time or money even if you like baseball!!

2014-09-27 15:13:10

Reno Aces Ballpark

The Aces have called Reno home for a number of years. They are a feeder team for the Arizona Diamondbacks, so if you follow baseball, you might see a couple of players get called up throughout the season. The park and concessions are reasonable priced. My favorite seats for watching the game are behind the third base dugout, but if you want to catch a beautiful view of the Reno skyline at dusk, the best seats are near right field. If money is an issue, bring a lawn chair and sit on the grass behind the outfield.

Eat Before You Go to the Ballgame

The food is lacking in quality and proper prep. Threw my hamburger away. Peanuts were stale. Other friends agreed or were very negative of food they bought.

Day at the ball park

It was fun to watch a miner league game. This is a great little ball park in the Biggest Little City in the world. A great value for the whole family.

Wonderful Ballpark in the Heart of Downtown

Don't miss a game here is you can. The ballpark is a little on the small side for AAA level ball but the team and the concessions are very good.

Great Ballpark To Watch A Baseball Game

I was impressed with this ballpark when we went to watch a game. The ballpark is pretty open with designated seating along both sides of the field and first come first serve in the outfield. The are food stands behind the seats running from 3rd base, to home, all the way to right field. Plus they built a standing area right behind the top rows to watch the game, eat some food, people watch, or to just chat with your friends. The Reno Aces are the minor league team for the Arizona Diamondbacks. I won't hold that against them as I am a S. F. Giants fan. The view a great from any seat. Just beware that on so called " night games ". If you are sitting on the firstbase side, you will be in the direct sun for the first 3 or 4 innings. This is another great piece of Reno you need to visit. Afterall, who doesn't like good ole baseball game ?!?! The stadium sits just 3 blocks off the main drag behind Harrah's. If I didn't tell you the ballpark was back there, you would probably have never known. There's nothing like a good baseball game during the summer ! If by yourself, with friends, or with your family, go check this place out. Play ball !!!!

Reno offers great baseball experience and so much more

I come here a couple times a year to take in multiple games each time. I have traveled all over (Fenway, Wrigley, Safeco, etc.) to watch games. I challenge anyone to find a ballpark this modern, that offers competitive games with AAA skilled players where before and after the games you can slowly stroll to your downtown room, eat great food, see a variety of shows or Harrah's Auto museum, and do some gambling. Reno Aces baseball is one of the best entertainment packages that any city in the USA offers. Affordable too, for under $20.00 you get a seat less than 22 rows from the field. For that price at Seattle Safeco Field you are so high up that seagulls are dragging their feet across the bill of your ball cap as they fly by. Make sure you stay for one of the finest 7th inning stretch experiences in all of baseball. Batter up. Go Aces and Reno.

First Minor League Game

I took the entire family to watch our first minor league baseball game. The stadium is close to any downtown hotel, and the ticket prices were very economical. All seats are on the field level, so you can get a good seat anywhere in the stadium. In between innings, they offer special promotions and games to entertain the crowd. The price of food is still over priced just like MLB ballparks, but at least you get free refills on large soda's. Overall, we had a great time and wished our MLB team would make watching a game more entertaining.

Nice park, community-minded owners

The park is quite new, and it is clean, well-kept, and well-designed. The garlic fries are awesome! But my favorite thing about this park is that they have a program where they let the high school teams play each other here. They don't make money off it (well, maybe in the concessions they do), and they certainly don't " have to " do it... which is what makes it so special. There are other community events, too; but seeing high school students play in a professional park--that's what kids dream about, and remember all their lives. Bravo!

Baseball Game

Nice stadium, parking is convenient and they have all the amenities you need for enjoying an evening at the game.

nice

Somewhat out of the way and uneventful. But nice sight-see, especially if you enjoy baseball. Not much otherwise.

Long Lines and expensive

Have gone to the ballpark many times to watch a game. Last year the service was really bad. The wait times at the concessions were long -you could miss an inning easily waiting for a beer. Also the vendors walking around selling beer and food were almost a thing of the past. You hardly ever saw them. Added to all of this how expensive they have become and its not a great night at the park

Incredible Park; Hidden Gem within walking distance of the Reno Strip

I've had so many good nights at the Aces Ballpark its hard to count and they all kind of blur together due to the incredible late night bar scene upstairs.... sorry mom and dad..... Certain nights they have live music in the warm breeze under the clear skies, its a great place. And its reasonably priced, and the Aces play a great game every now and again. I almost forgot to mention the actual baseball portion of the baseball stadium...... sorry Aces..... Street parking is free or you can walk from your hotel. I'd recommend walking as the streets can get a bit snarled in the area and if you park in paid parking the lots shut down at weird hours. If you park on Evans or 4th it is a transient area that might not be the safest bet for your carsorry Reno population......:-)

Great affordable family activity

This ball park is very well kept, very accessible to all. The ball games are fun, the local fans are a hoot. There is a good selection of " ball park " food and the concession stands are fast. There are really no bad seats in the park. However, sometimes in spring and summer the sun can be kind of intense, so choose your seats with that in mind for a day game. The only downside, and this is surely applicable to all ball parks is the lack of convenient parking. There are parking garages nearby but it costs to park. We have parked as far away as the Auto Museum and walked over to the park.

AAA Baseball game at it's finest

We were in Reno for my son's wedding and the following day he rented the owners suite for all the guests to attend the Ace's game. Beautiful suite has A / C inside food, drinks and about 25 outdoor seats. The park is beautiful and so much fun. The Ace's won big time.

Great Family Fun

The fireworks on Friday nights are fantastic. The games are a great family outing. Your kids will love seeing a game.

2017-04-12 13:18:32

Aces baseball!

It's just a fun experience here. Small-city feel but it's a beautiful stadium and the baseball is great. Good crowds, many games have promos or fireworks. Tickets are fairly reasonably priced.

2014-07-11 17:02:01

Awesome Stadium

Aces park might be the best AAA park in the U. S.! Being a Giants fan that was tough to say.. And its only 2 blocks from downtown, easy walking distance and very safe! Excellent dining choices at the park.. A first class baseball stadium. Keep up the good work Reno and we will be back.

Great venue

Last week we took children and grandchildren to an Aces game and were very impressed by the nice stadium, easy parking, good food, nice and friendly fans, and friendly attitude of the staff.

Enjoyable 4th of July = Good Game and Fireworks

We had a great time at the Reno Aces game on the Fourth of July. There were many others there who enjoyed it as well as the ballpark broke historical attendance records The game was fun (although we lost - the Reno aces did get 10 hits so they gave out coupons for free tacos at end of game.). Archie, Reno Ace's mascot, entertained us. The cheerleaders also did a great job with the between inning fun events. And of course, fireworks after the game made going to the Fourth of July baseball game a really fun time.

Go Aces!

This is so much fun we take are kids and go to at least 10 games a season. The boys love to see how fast they pitch. Everyone is friendly and the park is clean. Great addition to downtown.

Don't miss taking in a game

One of the best minor league parks we've been to. Service is fantastic and the park is really clean. Easy to view the game from any seat. Easy walk from the downtown casinos

Evening visit

Stopped by for a private event and was surprised at the amenities. Great area for the band to play, multiple bars to choose from and plenty of room. Enjoyed

Response to question

I am a 21 game package holder. I responded to a survey sent to package holders and asked why I couldn't get seats near my regular seats when I exchanged tickets for a different game. The very next day I received a reply from the Aces President explaining why the seats were not available in the exchange pool and what I could do to get seats in my normal section. His explanation made perfect sense, and his suggestion worked perfectly last night and we got to sit in our regular seats. I am totally impressed with his quick response and the fact that it was not just a canned reply from marketing. The Aces organization treats you like friends.

Opening Day Pro Soccer

We made opening day for Reno's newest sports team, a farm team for the Earthquakes. Great field, good view and seats.

Great Place to see a Baseball Game

Aces Ballpark is a fun place to see a game. It is a great place to take the family. Excellent food, drinks, and views of the beautiful ballpark.

2014-07-02 10:41:47

Baseball rocks!

This minor league baseball park is very clean and right in downtown in walking distance of many of the casinos. We enjoyed the evening very much.

2014-08-13 12:58:16

Fun Fun Fun

This ballpark is so awesome! All seats offer good views of the game, and there is a walking path all around the park. Concessions offer good food, and not too awful pricey!

2014-06-17 12:30:17

Cool, clean ballpark

Aces stadium is a great baseball venue. The park is clean and great for families too. There is a grass berm in the outfield that provides family seating with a kid's play area right next to it. The concession areas offer some great choices for food and beverages.

Superior minor league ball in the Biggest Little City

Reno is spot on with this ball park. It is located near downtown so tourists can walk from the casino district if they want to attend. Locals can find plenty of parking. The area is clean and the place is shiny and new. The pricing is reasonable and the quality of the baseball has been good. There are decent vendors inside and the ballpark is located next to the Freight House district which is loaded with food / bar places. Great for a family night out! My secret tip, stop at " Slice of the Peak " across the street. It is a pizza place that serves micro-brew from Silver Peak brewery. Excellent.

2014-06-06 23:21:12

Great family entertainment

Love to go and catch a minor league game. It is great entertainment and a very nice ball park. I like to sit up top in the Bugsy's Seats section.

2017-08-08 15:08:31

Home town field with family and friends

This place is so much fun for all age. The baseball games are exciting and the soccer games are a non stop hair raising super fun experience. This was our first time at a soccer game and we can't wait to attend again. It was sooo much fun. And the cheering section had as much energy as the team. They never stopped cheering or signing the entire game. It was an amazingly fun night.

AAA Ball Park

AAA baseball is great for fans of the game and the Aces provide wonderful summer entertainment in a family friendly ball park. The seating is great, the food very good, the staff and employees friendly. We are partial season ticket holders and have been for years.

2014-04-15 18:51:03

Fun thing to do in Reno!

We love going to the Aces Ballpark in the summer evenings or on the weekends. The park is not super huge and parking is easy, food is reasonably priced, and there are many fun events for the kids. Its a whole baseball experience without all the hassles of bigger MLB stadiums. Very clean and nice, and fun for older kids. If you stay on the 1st base side, you will get the sun in your eyes for summer evening games - these seats are usually cheaper, so at least you can make an informed decision. Also, they throw more give-aways and put the cameras on the 3rd base side more. Bring a glove and try to catch a foul ball!

2017-09-06 21:30:30

Play ball

Great ball park with local flavor. It's not AAT park but lots of fun. Food is pretty normal and the restaurants on the outside are all good. Fridays usually have some special event and fireworks at the end of the game. Sometimes kids get to run the bases. Recommend for a nice family night. Tickets are price fair and if you want to sit in the outfield there is a grassy spot you can put a blanket or lawn chair.

2014-04-03 19:55:46

Great day out for a game

Reno is so lucky to have a triple A team right in downtown. We've been to a number of games and the seating and atmosphere is top flight. This is a pleasant safe environment for the family and the play is close to major league quality with just enough errors to keep the fans intrigued. Beer and food, if they aren't having a special, can hurt the budget but if you've been to San Francisco or Oakland, its just a little less expensive. If you're after a good meal prior or after the game, don't miss the Freight House next door with several really nice restaurants. Afternoon games are my favorite but be sure to ask for home plate or third base seating if its a hot day. The sun can be brutal but in the shade, nothing could be better.

2014-08-05 21:35:00

Great Small Park

Had a fun time at the game. Prices for the concessions were high, but that is normal for places like this. Even the cheap seats had a great view and the crowd really gets into the games here.

2016-10-02 12:14:58

Awesome Gem for Sports Fans

Great gem, just off Virginia Avenue downtown. Brand new, clean, quirky, it puts you in the mood to see a game even when there is none. Visited during the off-season and toured the grounds. Wish I could have been there to catch a game. One of the best minor league parks I have seen.

2014-08-22 01:08:17

Bugsy's Seats Are the Best

My son and I have been to major and minor league parks all over the country (and in Japan), and I have to say that Bugsy's Seats at the Aces Ballpark make for about the nicest night at a ball game that either of us can remember.

2016-05-15 18:35:58

Many Visits Each Summer

We're locals and while I'm not overly into baseball I do like taking in a game here. We visit just often enough to get calls in the off-season about season tickets. Fun atmosphere with plenty of beer options. Craft Beer Garden near right field is always a hit. Their new music options are amusing. Usually sit 3rd base side - less direct sun in summer. We park for free on weekends or after 5 pm weekdays at the Sierra & Court St public lot. It's a nice 10-15 min walk from there.

Terrific minor league ballpark

Great location and fun experience (as most minor league ball is). Many food options and the fireworks were especially well-done.
