The best Chinese food in Richardson
My family often orders our dinner from China Express, and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food is exceptional, portions are very generous, and service is fast and with a smile. Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! And an added bonus, prices are very reasonable!
Chinese and Fast
This is a small local Chinese place. You order at the counter and your food is delivered to your table. I had the lemon chicken lunch which came with fried rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was delicious. The chicken and the lemon sauce was good and the food was delivered quickly. They had hot green tea but I missed having jasmine tea. The portion is smaller than most places. I will try it again and order something else.
New Owner - Changed Recipes - Portions Smaller and More Expensive
I have been a customer of China Express since it's inception in Richardson. I have dined in numerous times, and have had home delivery more times than I can remember. The restaurant has recently undergone a change of ownership, and I was extremely disappointed with my last experience. Portions are smaller, and no longer delivered in easy to store containers. Welcome to the disposable styrofoam containers. No condiments delivered with my order. The portion size was about half of what used to be customary. The egg drop soup was runny, and had very little consistency to it. The Orange Chicken was bland, and had no flavor. It was covered in a light brown sauce with with very few pieces of orange peel. No broccoli side items anymore either. Less flavor, smaller portions, no condiments, and higher prices. I am sad that I lost my old time favorite. I was extremely disappointed, and will have to find a new quality restaurant to get my American Style Chinese from.
Great food at very reasonable price
My wife and I ate here yesterday. She had the Mongolian Beef and I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Both were great and included soup and egg roll. Portion sizes were unbelievably generous. We ate at lunch too. So much we skipped dinner as we were still full. It is not a full service restaurant as you order at the counter and they bring your meal. The service was great though. The food was prepared to be both pleasing to the eye and to the stomach. I'd recommend you try this little gem at your earliest opportunity.
