absolutely disgusting
Great rate, but I would have rather slept in a park. Drug dealers all around, place falling apart, rooms were the most dirty and outdated I have ever seen. Staff had gang clothing on. DO NOT STAY HERE NO MATTER THE PRICE. Lucky they gave me a refund for my second night.
Visited for the Evening, Left for the Night!
Stopped by the TI one Saturday with a couple of friends. The adjoining bar was loud, packed solid, and rocking. Had a great time with the locals. Was encouraged to stay the night but thought better of it. Lots of homeless / drunken people loitering around the building demanding cigarettes and money. The building looks quite decrepit. Checked out my friends room, wished him luck, and took off for the Days Inn!

What trip to Thompson would be complete without at least cruising by the T. I.? Don't be shy. Park a few blocks away and stop in and have a drink. Experience the legendary T. I. first hand. Don't just sit at home and check it out on YouTube. The people there are an interesting sort and often quite friendly. Stop in for a visit.
DO NOT stay here
This place was beyond sketchy!! Do not stay here!!! A total DIVE. Located right next to the local homeless shelter, there were homeless drunk people hanging around outside the hotel, and wandering inside as well. We stayed here for an afternoon only, to kill time and have a place to store luggage. We had taken an overnight bus from Winnipeg and had a full day to kill in Thompson before our overnight train to Churchill (polar bear trip!!). This place was a cheap solution and much better than sitting in the local mall (also a dive), but I would NEVER want to spend the night. The toilet gugled every half-hour or so, and about 10 litres of bubbles / suds came up inside and out of the toilet - something about a connection to the laundry facilities. Awful place. Do not go there.
