Can do better
While the burger was delicious, the service left a lot to be desired. Staff seemed to be unhappy and were certainly unhelpful and impolite. Prices are a lot more compared to other restaurants in the area. Won't be returning.
Bit of a let down
This place had a good feel and a lot of potential but is unfortunately let down by the food and service. Expect a sloppy burger with an old defrosted brioche bun and patty that has been tossed into the microwave. It came out wet and scorching hot but cold in the centre. Booking a table was difficult and the young staff seemed to struggle to coordinate service efficiently. They have no capacity at all for walk-ins which I found very strange for this style of bar / restaurant.
Not my favourite for breakfast
Average western breakfast. 2 poached eggs on one small slice of sourdough served on a piece of paper in a plastic basket. How are you supposed to eat that? I was still hungry after and the coffee was luke warm. I wouldn't go back there for breakfast.
Great place!
Went there for a dinner also ordered some food for takeout the other day. Everything was absolutely delicious, great food, great place, friendly staff, simply perfect! Oh and you gotta try the Cubano sandwich!!!
Nice spot 🐇
Great atmosphere, nice meals. Quirky litttle place Staff were friendly and helpful Views were nice as it was snowing when we were here I'll certainly come back again
Ok but.
Beers good, food below average. Long delays with a small crowd. Needs a bit of management.. ok but wouldn't return. Staff are good and heaps of them but need to get it together.
Best vibe in Hakuba
When looking for a change from Japanese dining, this is a great place to visit for excellent burgers and cocktails.
Not GF friendly
Great place, unless you're GF. Only options are a lettuce burger or garden salad. Coll place if no dietary requirements
Burgers
We enjoyed delicious burgers and fries here. Kids ordered Mac n cheese which was a good sized portion. Friendly staff. I would definitely come back here again.
Excellent food!
Excellent food! Excellent service!!! The burgers were outstanding and loved the Mac n cheese! The loaded fries were to die for! Highly recommend!!!
Delicious food with great service
I have visited more than five times, the food is delicious for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I particularly love the breakfast options. Coffee is good, location is good. The service is great and the team here are really fantastic, down to earth and friendly. Very covid safe, strict measures on wearing masks, sanitizing etc which is great!
Tasty Burgers & Fries
Relaxing atmosphere with good food. Varied groups... families, singles, groups of friends & couples. Not crowded @ 6:15pm on a Saturday. We were greeted at the door, our temps were quickly taken before being seated. Used our cell phones to scan the QR code @ the table to access their menu. Our group ordered burgers, loaded fries & the Gardener veggie sandwich @ the bar (as instructed). Wait staff was friendly, prompt & did bring our drinks & food to the table. Definitely the best burgers we've had in awhile & came with a side of fries! The Loaded Fries portion was huge & good with chunks of bacon & melted cheese. The Gardener sandwich a satisfying non-meat option... full of veggies & came with fries also. We had a lot of fries but somehow they were all eaten ;)
A hidden gem
This place is as the title says Its the first time and hope there will be more to come, i can say literally that i had one of the best burgers to now, very good quality burger, the fries were salty though, they need to take it easy on the salt. I always forget to take a photo before eating for the review 🙃
Great food with amazing service
Great food with amazing service. Bar staff were efficient, very pleasant, and accommodating. I had the best chicken burger ever! Top it off with pleasant live music. Highly recommended.
Rabbit + Snow Machine best experience
We were in Japan with friends for only 5 days for the snow machine festival, curiously the head chef (almost certainly called matheus or something similar, sorry if I spell it wrong) was the same person who was part of the security team in the snow machine festival with incredible humor and personality. Anyway, this nice guy and his whole team made our little vacation an incredible moment, if you have a chance go to rabbit hole and give it a try to a good steak burger, a chuck norris, the chap or chicken wings, there is No way to be disappointed. The restaurant also has an adorable staff bar, excellent coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner, more than incredible, highly recommended. Thanks team
Lovely dining!
Delicious burgers summed up our days while in Hotel Villa. We would order double cheeseburger and a round of lemonade pitcher, a refreshing and delightful snack after a day of snow experience or just touring around Hakuba. The setting was well spaced with pretty looking decoration which gives off warmth and comfort. Nice staff assisted us while dining. It is well known for all travelers visiting Hakuba and a regretful one without dropping by for a burger. Lovely surroundings inside and out which enhances customers satisfaction. For recommendation and highest rating.
Shagsie
Been to Hakuba the last 3 years in a row and this is the best place to be! Jimmy and the crew are the friendliest people who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. The live music nightly was amazing. The burgers are a must! Get a chuck Norris in you. Breakfasts were so good too, smashed avo's plus great coffee which is hard to find in japan!! 100% rate this place a must go..
Best bar / restaurant in Hakuba!
We spent a lot of time here on our trip in Hakuba in February. Amazing atmosphere, live music, people, service and food! Top spot in Hakuba that is definitely worth a visit 🙌🏻👏🏼
A great bar at the base of Happo-One
The Rabbit Hole is a funky, modern, western-style bar in Wadano / Happo-One. Perfectly situated near the base of the ski fields, it is a great place for a quick drink at the end of the day. Staff are friendly and good fun. We had a great time there. Thanks.
Little pricy but tasty drinks and modern, fun apres atmosphere
We didn't get a chance to try the food on this trip, but we made a few stops in for apres drinks after a day on the slopes. The bartenders are all very nice and quick and the drinks are tasty. Live music at night made for a fun way to relax close to our hotel.
Heaven ribs
We went to the rabbit hole several times and never disappointed, We were very lucky to arrive in days where one the chefs decided to put a special of pork ribs with sesame sauce and OMG !!!!! They were heaven, we also ordered burgers and some chicken wings, I think I have not eaten anything better, the bar had a nice team although some ladies were a little slow or distracted at the time of bringing the food because of their phones or chilling to much probably, anyway, without belittling the work of the bar was the best meal we had in all the holidays and without a doubt the most recommended, especially thanks to the kitchen crew and thanks to the rabbit hole. Cheers team
Great food and service
We went to the Rabbit Hole several times as the food was great and service was quick. We had both breakfast and dinner there
Best Coffee
I would come by before and after I hit the slopes for a cup of brewed coffee. The food are decent and at night, I would usually hang out for a coupla beers and music. Cool place, didn't have to go anywhere else for fun.
This place is a good spot
This place is a good spot, there is a happy hour 4-6pm and the burgers are hearty. We're currently stopping at Wadano Gateway so it was good 25 minute walk but was worth it. I had the Balboa which was very filling and enjoyable, especially after eating ramen for three days. My partner had the 'Chicky babe' which was fried chicken and coleslaw. That was also awesome. The service was good, the bar wasn't to busy and there was a good vibe in the place. My partner described it as warm, cosy and groovy. It was exactly what you want after a day skiing. There is a pool table downstairs along with another couple of tables and toilets. They even sell Rabbit hole merchandise. One thing I've found with Hakuba is everything is spread out but this is certainly worth a visit. Why only four stars? Primarily because the toilet was downstairs and it's just that bit further out of town. We would definitely go back.
Good food, good vibe
As expected in Hakuba, it's full of Aussie skiers but the service is good, it's not over-heated and food was good pub / burger standard. Drinks cheaper than some other bars nearby in Wandano. We were there on a Thursday night and enjoyed a good solo singing act who played non-stop for the 2 hours we visited.
10 / 10 burger
I have been to the RH numerous times and over the years it has never disappointed. Great atmosphere, awesome live music and the food is always solid. Great job team. 👍👍
Great feed
Loved the team and the overall vibe of the rabbit hole. Great food and service, knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back.
Delicious Burgers, lovely modern atmosphere
Great place for food and to hang out and play cards. We visited for lunch on a rainy day and really enjoyed the casual atmosphere in a modern setting with fantastic Burgers. They serve breakfast 7.00 - 11.30am and from 12pm-10pm it's burgers and a couple of salads. Vegetarian and chicken burgers are available in addition to beef. Vegan and gluten free options available.
Solid front bar and burger joint
Solid front bar and good drinks. Pretty good ambience made by the mixed Aussie staff and music. Really good friendly manager and staff. The Kiwi looking girl is really good at her craft and works hard all night. Pool tables downstairs which is good if you want to kick on.... Best Burgers on mountain and simple menu for pub food. We ate and drank here a few times during our stay and would go back for that burger and beer fix. Hope this helps.. Cheers G
Excellent food, drinks, convenience
This place is amazing! The burgers and chips are great - I couldn't stop eating them ;) They had great coffee and smoothies. The location was very close to the slopes - we could walk to the slopes in our ski gear. We stayed in the hotel - Villa Hakuba - so it was only one floor down to get to the Rabbit Hole. Would recommend and go again
Chillin
Cool and positive vibe in one place. It got the best ambiance with excellent menu offerings. The crew members were very welcoming and offer great customer service. I had burger that's pure beef grilled freshly and topped in a premium quality bread. We also had their best tasting chicken wings. My partner had a few bottles of beer while I loved the Mulled Wine, best paired with freshly fried fries as we enjoy the live night music giving that warm relief over a busy day skiing at the slopes and strolling around Hakuba's famous sites. An excellent place to dine and relax, recommended for everyone!
Great Hotel
Stayed here for a week in January 2018. Great spot, great rooms, great apres ski and amazing burgers.
Relaxed vibe and great coffee
We spent a week in Wadano and our accommodation was very close to Rabbit Hole. We had breakfast once, dinner once and some coffees in the afternoons. It's a very friendly place which caters well to small or large groups. I preferred the breakfast menu and vibe - good food and coffee. The dinner menu was burgers - they were great but it was too noisy in the evening for this middle aged reviewer! Great place for a drink in the afternoon too.
Very Satisfied!
Great food! Tried the burgers with a bursting tasty experience. The best burgers in Hakuba, bonus the very beautiful staff people rendering service. Refreshing beers blended to a warm ear friendly live music. We had a lovely get together every night. Great value for your money. Absolutely be back.
One of hakuba's best
After being to the rabbit hole many times I can honestly say that they tick all the boxes. They have friendly staff, incredible food and a very good environment
Best Aussie style Breakfast and Coffee in Hakuba
After much ramen, onigiri, lawson fried chicken and katsu we were dying for a bacon and egg breakfast. Rabbit hole delivered in spades. Head into Wadano for fantastic eggs benedict and a true espresso coffee!
Superb!!!
We had a great restaurant experience here at Rabbit Hole. This was our second visit this winter season. My family makes it a point to return here twice every year. Loving the delicious meals, from breakfast to dinner. Everything were awesomely served. A great laid back live music brings out the romantic cozy ambience. Great burgers along with great restaurant servers. At night we had a tasty mug beers to distress and a aromatic freshly brewed coffee in the morning. A very amazing dining experience. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended for all.
Hot Toasties and Cold Beers
Great pub / restaurant just near the bottom of the quad in Wadano, if you're after western food or a few drinks. Great breakfast and lunch. Live music at night and plenty of games if you want a few drinks and bit of fun. Big tables or booths and pool downstairs, so a great place to regroup after a day of skiing.
More pub than restaurant by night but great for families after a good burger any other time
This burger Style Family Restaurant fills very quickly at lunch time in the ski season as it is 100 m from ski lifts. The basic Burger is called a Chuck Norris and they get bigger from there.. made with quality fresh meats and buns and well made fries and salads for not too much money. The night we went there it was pumping apres ski for the post 20year old set and the music was rather too loud. Any other time would be good to take the family. l highly recommend the coffee which comes from a real espresso machine
Beautiful cafe
I actually mentioned the rabbit-hole in my post for hotel villa. I stayed at the hotel and frequently visited the bar / cafe. Coffee and food options were above and beyond expectations. Fit-out and overall vibe of the bar was amazing. Well done.
Superb!
The burgers were superb! The kids loved it. Great breakfast. The coffee tasted extra special, probably because of the thought that I am on a vacation and the place is just beautiful. They had friendly and cool staff! You gotta visit this place!
Ate breaky here everyday while in Hakuba, delicious fresh food and good coffee
We stayed at the Hotel Villa Hakuba so were regulars here during our stay. Food was always good, especially the smashed avo with pomegranate for breaky, burgers and beers for lunch and dinner! Staff were friendly, service always prompt and food always delicious!
great burgers!
coming from Australia this place was lovely, most of the staff are aussies! Burgers and beers were great!
Delicious Coffee
The reviews are correct - definitely a go-to for great coffee when at the ski fields. We didn't get a chance to eat here but the menu looks delicious and we had hoped to get there for burgers but ran out of time. Will definitely go there next time.
Good spot
This is a decent spot for a feed and a drink. I went for a burger when i was here and was not disappointed. The chips were awesome too and seasoned with Japanese 7 spice i think... very tasty!! Beers were a little on the pricey side i thought but not outrageous. Really good lively spot and generally busy.
Nice place to hang out at night
We been here early March for breakfast and drink. Very convenient since we stayed at Koharu resort. Typical western food and drinks offer but a bit more pricy compare to others.
If you want to waddle out!!!
if you want to waddle for the rest of day, try this place! Large portions of well cooked pub food! Firstly the brunches were amazing. One of us had the pulled pork eggs Benedict (perfectly cooked runny eggs) with a lime hollandaise, the other had the chorizo scrambled eggs that were lightly cooked and moist not over cooked and our friend had a mountain of soft hot waffles with fresh berries and cream. On a previous visit we had stopped here for lunch and the range of burgers were just too hard to choose from. Great burgers, one of the best in Hakuba! (Toss up between Rabbit Hole and Tap Room burger - just have to try both of them for yourself to see).
Great food and vibe
The rabbit hole became a regular for us after (or occasionally before) a day on the mountain. Friendly staff, cool vibe, and great food (western style good pub food) Waning though: With Chu hi on tap it is not uncommon to be snowed in
Best bar cafe in Hakuba
A must visit in Hakuba (Happo). Ski in / ski out bar cafe with plenty of character. Great food. Incredible service. Bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would strongly recommend!
great little bar
nice buzzy bar. lots of ozzies, good drinks and great breakfast. ididnt try evening menu but looked ok to me
Good burgers, fast, friendly efficient service
We were a large group of 14. Service was great, on top of our orders and requests. No complaints on food, everyone enjoyed what they ordered and it was very good value.
Best bar in hakuba
Best bar. Friendly staff, amazing burgers and sick clothing line. So so so so good. Mac and cheese was amazing
Best burgers in hakuba
Burgers here were great! Best in hakuba. And a great atmosphere with live music. Espresso martinis are a must
Awesome bar!
Good food, decent prices and friendly staff. Definitely would recommend to everyone coming to Hakuba.
Brilliant Bar- brilliant brownie
As a final stop on the apres ski. Good service, music, atmosphere and fantastic food. Best burgers ever and as for the brownie bazouki (I think?) now that was up there with the best ever. Hot skillet and cooked super gooey and rich with ice cream. Hard not to finish every last spoonful despite it being so large. That replenishes the energy for the slope another day. This is a great place.
Amazing bar in Hakuba
The Rabbit Hole is such a brilliant place to head for a drink or food in Hakuba. Ask for Issy who will make you the best drinks in town! Great tunes and great atmosphere. Would 10 / 10 recommend during your Hakuba snow holiday!!
Good Australian pub in Japan
We visited the rabbit hole more times than I'd care to admit while we were in Hakuba - we were staying right across the road. The best thing was the coffee, it's hard to find espresso in Japan and as we were travelling with a toddler this is exact what I need to start the day 😂. We visited at all times of the day and had generally good service, good food and an enjoyable time and our toddler was warmly welcomed every time (which is always nice because toddlers aren't always the best guests!). We did have a couple of occasions when the food wasn't as good as others (breakfast much smaller on one day than the others and over cooked dry burger patty) however overall we really enjoyed this little slice of Australia in Japan.
Feels like home
For the many aussies that make their way to Hakuba this is a little slice of home. We only discovered The Rabbit Hole on our second last day and loved it! Great coffee, amazing burgers and awesome tunes!!! Highly recommend.
Excellent service... Great burgers
OK this place is great we came here every night to eat, the staff were fantastic and very accommodating when it came to my food requests... The burgers are sensational and Josh one of the burger chefs is hands down passionate about his food.. It is pretty expensive though AUD $20-$30 for a great burger but small amount of fries. I would have easily given it for 5 stars which it deserves if it was in Australia and not attached to a hotel. The bar can get quite noisy with a bunch of swearing and belching Aussies together. I don't think it's a great place for kids.. I did bring mine but we tried to keep away from everyone and there very little nearby options. If it's a family friendly bar then it shouldn't have compromised with Triple Js hotest 100 party (Aussies music thing) we only popped in and my little girl was so scared with all the drunk behavior.. This is a great bar but like I said this bar as it currently is, belongs in Kuta Bali, not quiet Japanese alps.. I guess it's here to stay as its so popular but if you want some culture and local customs then your not going to get this here...
Wadano wonderland for tired skiers
After adjusting to the idea of a completely Australian contemporary restaurant and bar in the middle of Hakuba, we quickly embraced the concept. Great atmosphere and a welcome little break from ski lodge food. Excellent coffee and very friendly staff who happily adjusted our orders to accomodate our family's multiple food allergies. Very very yummy!
Best burgers on the mountain
We had skied all day and were starving so thought we would pop in for a snack. Thank god we did. It was perfect. The burgers we a delight and the drinks icy cold and refreshing. We had such a great time we went back for dinner a few nights later and were not disappointed at all. Well done guys a great venue.
A must in Hakuba
What a warm, friendly, family like bar. From the minute you walk through the door, the staff make you feel like you are apart of the Rabbit Hole family and we have spent every day of our trip here so far. Took good not to let everyone know about! 100% recommend to come and get a cheeky beverage and a bite to eat
Baristas. Burgers. Beers. Bed. Repeat
Stumbled upon this gem touring Japan earlier this month. Not only Cracking modern accommodation right in the heart of hakuba, but a lively venue with great food to boot. The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Can't wait to drop in next winter. PS best coffee I had in Japan!!
coolでcuteでイケてる大好きな場所💕
日本有数のリゾート地、白馬🐴。その中の和田野と言う閑静な場所にある、ホテル & カフェBAR🍔🍷🥗
So not Japan
Great bar and lounge design.. great beer.. stops right there.. one hour fifteen for a burger to arrive.. no explanation from staff.. the basement is grunge, like a junkie alley in st Kilda along with dirty subway toilets complete with over flowing trash can... I'll deff go there again when I'm homesick for Collingwood.
Great venue, awful service
Took over 2 hours to get two burgers with no warning, explanation or proper apology. They kept saying yours is next which went on for an hour. The only explanation was that their were only 2 people in the kitchen. Obviously cutting costs which will backfire because I doubt the patrons will go back. Unfortunate because it's a great venue, bar was good but it's just very poorly managed and understaffed. Don't recommend at all!
Good pub tucker
Overall this was a good experience if you are looking for a casual pub burger and atmosphere to match Positives - The pork burger was great - nice and moist and tasty. - One of our members was gluten free and so had a salad. It was huge and apparently very good - They have wine by the bottle to order - not all that common in Hakuba Negatives - my wife had the standard burger and the meat patty was very dry. 'Sawdust' came to mind. - They ran out of our wine.....
AM coffee PM drinks
This was our 'go to' place for morning coffee before a day of skiing and our happy hour apres after a day of skiing. Aussie style bar with mainly Aussie staff and they were friendly and always ready and willing to help. Try the chocolate brownie after a hard day on the slopes!!
super cool venue.... too bad about the staff, and the chicken? burger
The venue itself is super cool, sucks to see a place with so much potential be sent to crap by its staff and the chicken burger is something else.... not in a good way. The chicken had the texture of biting into a big chunk of ham or something, it was really firm and chewy, almost like it is some sort of pre cooked packaged chicken, or processed chicken. The chicken dippers were ok, and the chips were too. The drinks are expensive and so is the food, the staff just seem like they don't want to be there and offer about as much personality as a house brick. Heaps of better alternatives in Hakuba, but worth dropping in for a quick beer to have a look at the venue
Burgers and Bad Service
One of the newer / trendier restaurants in the Wadano Forest area of Hakuba. The menu leans very heavily on burgers, which we did not sample. We ordered two salads, one of each type offered. When the food arrived, only one salad appeared. When we tried to rectify this we were sent back to the ordering point (inclusive of 10 minute long queue) as the serving staff were incapable of resolving the issue themselves. When the second salad arrived, it did so without any quinoa which was one of the main components. Thankfully, this was resolved quickly once we pointed out the mistake. Service here was a bit of a shock, particularly when juxtaposed with that received from restaurants in Tokyo and Kyoto where we arrived from. The salads, once corrected, were nice but certainly not worthy of tolerating the poor staffing.
Lunch and coffee
From the moment I stepped in the door I was welcomed. Advice as to menus, seating was great. Service great. Relaxing and very pleasant.
Perfect visit
Although I like to eat the local food when I am in foreign countries, I couldn't be happier to have such amazing food at The Rabbit Hope and was exactly what I needed after a couple of weeks in Japan. Caters for all types of people with a large selection of burgers, beers and other food for dinner. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Good but not excellent
I visited this restaurant on a recommendation from friends. I ordered the Chicky Bae burger and unfortunately mine wasn't great and the chicken was a bit fatty. My husband ordered the El Chappo burger and his was much nicer than mine but my review is of my burger. The ambience is really relaxing and good and it's very close to the ski slopes. This seems to be a pretty popular spot sobe sure to make a reservation if you don't want to wait.
if they worked a few things they could lift
I am from Australia and this is my second trip to Hakuba for snowboarding. Last night I had dinner and a few drinks at the Rabbit Hole. I had also been there a few nights before for a few drinks. Some wait staff was not well trained. Did not explain the ordering process and did not offer water. Some bar staff were friendly and efficient but a couple were 'stuck up' and it felt like they were doing me a favour in fulfilling my order. There were no menus in Japanese. Don't neglect your Japanese guests! I talked to a Japanese family of 6 that were not offered water and not offered menus that were easy for them to understand. Toilets were very poorly kept. Make it someones job to clean and or check them regularly. I had chicken burger and coleslaw. Chicken burger was good - tasty and fresh but a bit too much dressing. The coleslaw was inedible... WAY too much dressing - drowned in dressing. It would have been a really good coleslaw if the dressing amount was reduced. I'm in no hurry to go back... the Penke bar is nearby and it is smaller but offers better service, good food and has staff that are switched on and frendly.
Best breakfast in Hakuba
Smashed avocado in Hakuba who would believe it. I didn't until I tried it myself today - it was great. The best breakfast in Hakuba. The coffee was also great as was the service.
Rabbit Hole
Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed... Appearance of this place was very nice... food came quick and was top quality
Down the Hole
I was amazed by the beautiful food and my boyfriend throughly enjoyed his burger and I enjoyed my salad. The location was second to none and I was really impressed by the door to door driver service. It was surprising to me how employees on and off shift talked to each other and yelling at each other over the bar and under the influence of alcohol. I saw a staff member cry while I was at the bar as a result of this type of conversation. But other than that the general vibe of the place was outstanding and I would recommend stopping through as location you cannot miss out on.
Nice Cup of Tea
We visited this Cafè for breakfast. It didn't appear to be a particularly busy morning. We waited 25 mins for our cup of tea and over an hour for 2 breakfasts. The tea, when it finally arrived, was delicious. I questioned the waiter about the length of time it was taking to receive our breakfasts, especially when customers, who arrived after us, were eating theirs. He said they were " snowed under " ? When our breakfasts finally arrived they were " stone cold ". There was no heat whatsoever. Bacon, eggs, hollandaise sauce and toast cold. The toast couldn't even be cut as it was so tough. We should have sent it back so it was our fault that we didn't. But after waiting for over an hour and paying $50.00 we had had enough!! Nice cup of tea though.
great place, excellent food!
The rabbit hole was closed during our stay. We did however get a morning coffee and a couple of special dinners. The Rabbit hole is a huge bar. Beautiful view of the mountain and beautifully designed.
Good Aussie bar / burger joint
We definitely enjoyed our burger along with a fun bingo night in a more humble setting in 2016, but those responsible should be very proud of the makeover done over the Japanese summer to spruce things up, particularly the bar itself. The punk rock music was more to an Aussie boarder's crowd than we were after, but everyone enjoyed their burgers and drinks (not cheap though). The bar was pretty reasonably stocked with well-priced Japanese whisky for those so inclined. The electronic darts machine wasn't at the standard we'd come to expect from our time in Tokyo and we had to compromise with those playing pool (a VB chugging patron (read: drunk bogan) meant we didn't hang around downstairs too long), but we still enjoyed the night overall. I suppose it depends on what you're after for your apres. Definitely recommend if you're after a good burger staffed by interesting and friendly Aussies trying to do their own thing in Hakuba.
good food, great customer service
We stayed at the hotel as mentioned in a review I have already done. The Rabbit hole was an amazing café / bar. Very trendy and spacious, we were always able to find a seat and be welcomed by the friendly staff. Burgers were delicious and beers were ice cold. Great burger joint, would definitely be eating there again and have no problem recommending.
Brilliant family option, great bar, live music. Not the cheapest but very good and reliable option
We stayed at Villa Hakuba so Rabbit Hole was our local. Drinks there most nights. Dinner there after. Breakfast once or twice. Excellent staff, great atmosphere. Reliable and filling comfort food. Book ahead as this place is busy, and for good reason. Not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. You get quality food and service at the price point. We kept going back there for the burgers, live music and atmosphere.
