Best tailor
Ha's shop is very nice, she is lovely and clothes are perfect ! We really recommend her compared to others shop who are not friendly. Ha is adorable and she will make sure that all details are ok. Clothes are perfect and nothing to say about the cup of the suit or dresses.

the seamstress opened her store after closing so we could buy a dress and two suits. the fabrics and the cut of the products are very good and modern qualities. I recommend !
Fantastic Service
The strap of my mother's thick cotton bag broke, so we went in to ask how much it would cost to fix it. The lady said she'd do it for free when we clearly weren't planning to buy anything, stitched it back on in less then 5 mins and made sure to stitch along the existing seam so you can't even tell it's been done. I was so impressed by the generosity - we would've been happy to pay but to the lady there it was such a simple job it wasn't worth charging for. I'm sure they'd do a great job on clothes and be very honest, but we are leaving Hoi An early tomorrow so didn't have time to test this out.
Terrible sewing and experience
I chose a dress to be made from an example they had in the shop. When I went to check the fitting the next day I discovered that the stitching was shocking and the dress didn't fit; too tight in some places, too lose in others. On the third visit, the dress had been taken in so much that I couldn't zip up the dress. They agreed to remake the top half after I was reduced to tears in frustration at having paid in advance for a dress I would never be able to wear. On my fourth visit, I could get the dress on, but it gaped at the neck, the hem was wonky and the bodice had been badly attached to the skirt. I agreed to take it and when I got home, I removed the top half of the zip and altered the stitching so it no longer gapes. I re-stitched the waistband, so that all the seams were flat. I also hand stitched the wonky hem. It now looks like a lovely dress for the money paid, but I would not go to this shop again and certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I ordered a suit and a blazer, ready in 24 hours, fitted well and great quality. Couldn't have loved it more! Will recommend to anyone coming to Hoi An! Greetings from Mexico.

3 pieces custom suit
Very professionals. Once I decided the style, materials and color. I went on the following day for a first fit, they corrected all I asked and went the second day for a second fit. In 48hours I got a custom handmade suit ready to go! The staff are friendly and they will give you good advise. I will definately go back to them the next time I go back to Hoi An!! Thank you girls 😁

Je suis rentrée par curiosité. On ne m'a absolument pas forcé à l'achat. La dame est vraiment gentille et à l'écoute. Elle propose les modifications de manière à s'adapter au style que l'on recherche. Je me suis faite faire une robe sur mesure pour un prix très raisonnable. Même pas eu besoin de retouche ! Très bonne expérience chez ce tailleur.

Good experience
We found that " real " tailor shops did not hound you on the street, they waited for their customers to approach them. It was a shirt fabric on a model that attracted us. BEWARE, if you like a fabric check out what it looks like under the jacket or on inside of the garment as fading was a big problem. The shirt was ready without issue when they said it would be and as ordered. Pretty impressive really. Personally I found it too hot to be bothered being measured and trying on clothes!
More than happy
After wandering into a few tailor shops we came across Tam Thu. The girls were very nice and attentive and supplied us with refreshing cold water bottles while we decided what we'd like made. My partner chose 2 short sleeved shirts and I picked 2 summer dresses. They had a wide variety of materials to choose from which made it fun. The girls gave us some helpful advice with colours and styles. After being measured up we were asked to come back the next day at around the same time. When we returned our garments were waiting for us. We both tried them on and nothing needed altering. All were a perfect fit. Prices were very reasonable and quality was above expectations. Will be going back for more clothes.
Incredibly disappointed
I asked to get a dress tailored for me and stayed three days in Hoi An. On the 2nd day I had the fitting and pointed out several yellow stains on the white top part of the dress. I was assured these are only chalk marks as they needed to mark the cuts and seams. They also assured me, that the dress would be cleaned before I pick up the dress the next day. That didn't happen. Furthermore I have now washed the dress several times and tried everything, but these stains don't come out. I paid 860.000, - VND (€35, 00) for a dress I can never wear. So disappointed. I also noticed that strands of blue yarn have been sown into the white layers???!!!
fantastic all round -quality, service and especially price!
I live in nearby Da nang and went to find a wedding suit to be tailor made and luckily i found Thu's shop. Really friendly and helpful and never pushy at all. The matched the designs i asked for perfectly and quickly too. So pleased with the quality and on my 2nd visit to try the suit on Thu and I must have chatted for over an hour - she's just a lovely woman. Suit jacket and trousers were $105, $25 each for 2 shirts, waistcoat $40 and she made all my tie's and handkerchiefs on the different colour ways i couldn't decide on all for free! HIGHLY recomended

Best tailor I went to in Hoi An
I ended up getting two wrap dresses, one chiffon dress, and one shirt dress made here. I also got a playsuit altered that was made from another tailor who refused to alter it themselves. The clothes were made really well and were a good price. Tam Thu were by far my favourite tailor that I visited. Highly recommend!
Fantastic Service and Tailoring
Didn't plan to get anything made in Vietnam but ended up with 5 shirts tailor made, about NZ$150 and our teenage had a shirt made too. Maybe I put on a kilo on tour as when I tried on a couple of shirts they felt a little tight, no problem they fixed them!!! Definitely worth shopping here, ladies in the shop are very friendly and helpful.
Great tailor
We had four dresses made and they were all fantastic. Good quality and fitted perfectly. This shop had a lot to hide from and a lot of fabrics and were the cheapest we could find by around $20us.
Got some great suits and some great shirts
Dad and I went into this shop out of chance and ended up liking the place. We got measured for matching pairs of suits. Came in the very next day, tried them on and they were amazing. We ended up getting another matching set of suits, 4 dress shirts and 3 short sleeve button ups for me. Got them the next day ahead of schedule. Everything fit perfectly and was great quality. Better than Macy's ever will be. 10 / 10 would reccomend very friendly women working there.
Good quality and value
We got so many clothes made, and it was far cheaper than what was quoted at some other stores. The service was good and they weren't pushy about buying things. Got copies of existing clothes made as well as from pre-printed google photos and ready to try on everything within 24 hours. Wool coats, silk clothes, cotton shirts, etc. They even took us to the fabric shop down the street to choose materials. Everything fit well and seems to be good quality, although do make sure you thoroughly check fabric samples you've chosen are what you expected.
Excellent suits, quick turn around, reliable
WE had two lady's suits, two dresses and several button down shirts tailored here last week. We only stayed in HoiAn for 36h which was enough time for fittings and adjustments. All in all we were very pleased by the outcome. Everything looks great and well done. Had several suits tailored when I lived in China and found quality here better. Shop is trustworthy and reliable: initially placed order for suits and one dress but were very impressed and had more tailored which had to be delivered to Danang, where we stayed a couple days later on our way back from Hue. Tailor showed up at agreed time and place.

Wenn ich mir ein Kleid schneidern lasse, erwarte ich eigentlich auch dass es passt. Ich bin relativ klein und finde daher meist keine schönen langen Kleider, also dachte ich, das wärs. Leider schleift mein Kleid, dass ich mir extra für den Urlaub habe machen lassen, am Boden, ich konnte es also im Urlaub nicht brauchen und muss es daheim wieder zum Schneider geben. Schade. Trotzdem gebe ich 3 Sterne, da das Kleid, wenn ich nicht am nächsten Tag schon abgereist wäre, sicher noch geändert worden wäre.
Great quality, reasonable price
We had 3 men's short sleeves shirts made and one woman's jumpsuit and all are great, we are very happy. Great selection of material for men's shirts and good knowledge of woman's fashion. Shirts worked out to be $20USD after a bit of bartering
Excellent service
we were at the Tham Thu shop (number 59) this week. At first we only bought a velevt jacket for my husband at a very reasonable price. We looked around in the town and went into some other shops. Since the ladies in those shops were very persistant we decided to go back to Tam Thu. We bought to more velvet jackets, a skirt and top. All of them very beautiful and at good price. They fit very wel!

After visiting numerous tailors & admiring the clothes (in particular velvet jackets) I stopped at Tam Thu. I had been quoted (after the bartering " dance ") from $150 to $200 for a tailor made velvet jacket. At Tam Thu I won't divulge the price to be fair to the shop - except to say it was under $100. And they were happy to customise the lapels to a design of my choice. Got measured up & went back next day for fitting, Jacket was mint!! putting it on I felt like a rat with a gold tooth. Very very highly recommended for price & quality.
Efficient and Well Made
We had been looking around Hoi An for a while trying to find somewhere to get a decent winter coat made. As there are soooooo many tailors to choose from and it's hard to know which are good or not so we considered ourselves lucky to stumble across this one. We found a design that I liked in the shop and I was quickly measured up. Although the price initially quoted was a bit more than I wanted to spend after a little haggling I managed to get it down to a very reasonable price. We came back the next day, the coat fitted well and was comfortable, they had also made sure that all the " knobs and whistles " were added as we requested therefore no adjustments were needed. The coat has kept me warm and comfortable for the last few months and i'm sure it will last a good few years at least. Most people who have seen it have commented on how nice it is. Very happy customer.
