Le pire des restaurant de nos 12 jours à l'île Maurice. Cocktail signature imbuvable tellement de piment. Nous l'avons laisser. Un poulet tandoori normalement cuit dans une sauce mais la tout sec et sans sauce. Cuisse de toute petite taille qui fais penser à des cuisses industrielle. Serveur sympathique mais qui ne change rien à la donne. Un conseil. Nettoyé votre porte menu dehors ce n'est pas engageant et lorsque vous mettez des suggestions dehors sur ardoise il faut que ce soit net sinon on a pas envie de rentrer. Et c'est ce qu'on fais un bon nombre de client qui passe devant pour chercher un restaurant. Ce soir la pas de filet de bœuf. Dommage c'est ce que je voulais. Et la dorade étais surgelés et d'ailleurs merci de me l'avoir dit lorsque je vous ai demander.

Awful meal
We were massively disappointed with our meal and felt deceived by the tripadvisor reviews as it was a Buffett menu. We have eaten in numerous Mauritian restaurants during our 3 week stay and this was by far the worst meal we have had, we had better meals at the beach food stalls. Such a shame as we were looking forward to the evening. The staff, however were great and tried their best to make up for the terrible food as they could sense our disappointment.

Suuuuper bon👌on recommend.+vivement.... nous avons passé un séjour à Ile Maurice du 06 au 18 décembre 2023. Le restaurant Chef's Table y a une fine cuisine, de produits très frais, locaux (pas acheté en grande surface) vous pouvez réserver et commander à l'avance des plats typiquement mauricien, c'est un régal. Établissements très propre, ils sont gentils, très serviable et les cocktails 🍹aussi un délice, hummm. Vivement notre retour.

Meilleur resto de tout perebeyre ! Le dîner était divinement bon, il y a une bonne ambiance, toute l'équipe est disponible et à l'écoute. Les cocktails 👌👌👌 passage obligatoire si vous séjournez dans le coin

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. Food is 10 / 10. Service is 10 / 10. Drinks are 10 / 10. The atmosphere and environment is calm, relaxing and inviting. Vaichi and Anushka are an absolute amazing husband and wife team. They run the restaurant like a well oiled machine. Friendly, speedy service, and food that is made EXACTLY to your requirements. They pull out all the stops to make sure your time with them is the best it possibly can be. Prices are very competitive and compared to the other restaurants along Pereybere beach, they are completely unique in their menu and 'fine dining' approach. I spent 2 weeks in Mauritius and kept coming back to this restaurant because of how lovely this place is. I found out that Vaichi and Anushka took over the running of the restaurant in late-September 2023, and they have no connection with the previous owners which was important to learn, because the reviews we saw on Google before coming were not the best and they could definitely put some people off from coming. However, rest assured that if you do come to this restaurant, you are going to love your time here. Thank you so much for all your love and hospitality and making our experience in Mauritius!
Top fine dining restaurant in the North!
If you're looking for a fine dining restaurant with warm, friendly staff then look no further! Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough for their top quality food and service. My parents, husband and I were staying at Pereybere Hotel & Spa and chose the 7-course set menu for dinner including fresh lobster where each meal was exquisite in terms of presentation, taste and flavour. The staff including chef Vaichi, Anushka and Suaven accommodated every meal requirement of ours and explained how all their food is only made with fresh and natural ingredients! We even had an ice cream making class with the staff with fresh mango which was delicious and was so much fun! Thank you again we'll definitely be coming back!
What a wonderful surprise
At first glance the place did not give the impression of being a professional restaurant and despite the chef saying they had difficulties getting their products because of the corona outburst. The chef Akshay offered us options and made us a brilliant dish of grilled chicken with sides. The price was also so cheap, under 1000mur for 2 people, softdrinks included. A strong recommendation.

A éviter
Belle devanture et nom attrayant mais une fois les plats servis belle déception ! Le marlin fumé était passé nous l'avons senti dès l'assiette posée sur la table. Les pâtes pas assez cuites baignaient dans la crème idem pour le gratin de gnocchi. Ne prennent pas la CB, bref nous ne reviendront plus. Mauvaise expérience en espérant que c'était exceptionnel pour ce restaurant..

Great food, good vibe!
I stay at Pereybere Hotel every time I come to Mauritius because it is the best value for money in the North and the staff are fantastic. Pravin handles my booking and is a polite and professional staff member who is happy to go the extra mile and help on any level. Voila restaurant has a fantastic chef Akshay who makes the tastiest meals served with finesse. He also handles the breakfast menu and makes a perfect poached egg if asked and wonderful tasty omelette. I recommend trying this place as well as popping in for breakfast where you are also offered a waffle or pancake with Nutella and honey! What more could you ask for in a breakfast. The croissants are fresh and warm and are kept in an oven to make sure the cheese melts on them as well. Nice touch for a very tasty breakfast.

Usually we go there for breakfast service was great we decide to try dinner i had a chicken sauté its amazing more then perfect highly recommend!! Service amazing as usually i think best service in Mauritius!!! Se faire son propre avis !
Un restaurant qui paye malheureusement ses précédents commentaires vraiment négatifs ! Alors certes nous étions que 2 tables donc on ne peut pas juger de la rapidité du service car pour nous cela a été plus que correct ! Et je préfère attendre un peu mon plat que d'avoir un plat hyper rapidement qui signifie qu'il serait préparé en amont. Tarifs corrects pour avoir testé les 2 / 3 restaurants à coté ! Et c'est super bon ! Rien d'original un gratin de gnocchis et un poulet curry mais l'un et l'autre avons été conquis par notre plat ! C'est très bon on sens que cela vient tout juste d'être préparé hyper bien assaisonné ! De plus nous prenons nos petits déjeuner tous les matins c'est bon il y a du choix ! Et que dire du personnel tout le monde est à notre petit soin, les gens sont gentils et serviables ! Un plaisir !
Petits déjeuners et dîner au top
Nous sommes allés plusieurs fois à ce restaurant pendant notre semaine sur Pereybere et avons été conquis. Le personnel est chaleureux et le menu varié. Nous avons pris pour le dîner de la dorade et du calamar très bien cuisiné on s'est régalé. Si on repasse dans le coin à l'avenir on ne manquera pas de revenir
Médiocre
Nous sommes allés dîner le soir de la St Valentin. Première impression en entrant dans le restaurant : une odeur hyper forte d'encens à limite donner mal à la tête. Après nous être habitués à cette odeur nous avons commandé 2 cocktails qui étaient plutôt bon. (Sex on the beach) Nos plats sont ensuite arrivés : un filet de dorade, purée et legumes (fade, petite quantité) et puis une salade niçoise (de taille ridicule) et alors là grosse blague ! Le restaurant intitulé Voilà Côte d'Azur devrait revoir son concept. Je suis niçoise et la salade qui m'a été servie était loin de l'être ! Salade, 3 tranches de tomates, choux, 4 carottes rapées qui se battent en duel, un peu d'oeuf, des pommes de terre (sans aucun gout).. J'ai cherché les haricots, les olives etc... une honte ! À noter également que l'amabilité du personnel serait à revoir ! Bref vous trouverez mieux ailleurs !
Petit déjeuné
Nous avons séjourné quelques nuits dans l'hôtel Pereybere and spa. Le petit déjeuné était inclu au restaurant «Voilà Côté d'Azur». Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par les viennoiseries proposées. Les croissants et les pains au chocolats sont délicieux !!! Félicitations à Varshik ! Le responsable Clive, nous a également merveilleusement bien reçu ! Très aimable et souriant, il était à l'écoute de nos demandes et toujours de bonne humeur ! Connaissant mon penchants pour leurs croissants, il m'a même préparé pour le dernier jour une fournée bien chaude lors de mon arrivée au petit déjeuner. Merci pour ces moments !!
OTTIMO RISTORANTE A PEREYBERE
Ottimo ristorante a Pereybere. Ottima cucina europea mauriziana. La pastasciutta è cucina in maniera squisita. Ottima la pasta alla bolognese. Saporiti gli spaghetti aglio e olio. Il cibo di mare è squisito. Ottima l'aragosta il calamaro i gamberi. Clive è bravissimo e ti saprà consigliare un ottimo vino un ottimo piatto Clive è super competente. Clive è una persona veramente disponibile cortese e sempre col sorriso! Top Top Top Top Top. Un ringraziamento a Clive.

Repas de réveillon de noël catastrophique
Au vu des critiques plutôt bonnes, nous avons réservé une table dans ce restaurant de Pereybere pour le réveillon de noël. La soirée commençait bien et très rapidement le temps d'attente entre les plats s'étirait de plus en plus, le personnel devenant complètement débordé par les évènements. Il y avait tout simplement de l'amateurisme dans l'organisation, à tel point que le plat principal a été servi à 00h40... plusieurs personnes ont quitté le restaurant sans attendre le plat principal, le serveur était même devenu agressif devant une table de personnes qui voulaient partir.. quant à nous, on a été patients jusqu'au plat principal mais on n'a pas attendu le dessert pour partir, comme plusieurs autres personnes. De plus le responsable niait tout problème et ne voulait surtout pas faire de geste commercial du fait que c'était un menu... bref, restaurant à éviter assurément! La mauvaise foi est sur-répresentée dans ce restaurant

We had a very good breakfast several times. A lot of choices, the eggs station chef is a master, thank you. Thank you to Clive which was super available and polite and helped us having a great breakfast and indicating the right bus to use in our future trips. Thank you, Adrian and Carmen

Excellent buffet petit-déjeuner
Dans le cadre de mon séjour au Pereybere Hotel and Spa de novembre 2019, j'ai pris tous mes petits-déjeuners au restaurant Voilà Côte d'Azur situé en bas de l'hôtel. Le buffet est copieux et varié (salé, sucré, laitages, fruits) et les omelettes, gaufres, crêpes sont préparées en direct sur simple demande. Tout ce que j'ai goûté étaut très bon ! Clive et son équipe sont accueillants et professionnels, le service est impeccable. Bref n'hésitez pas à y prendre vos petits-déjeuners, que vous soyez logés au Pereybere Hotel and Spa.. ou ailleurs !

We stayed Perebere hotel and spa for 5 nights. Our buffet breakfast was very nice every morning. Clive and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend. 😁😁😁

Fantastisk mat! Både på tallriken och i gommen. Bra service och uppmärksam personal. Det som drar ner betyget är lokalen som är tråkig och har ett skarpt kallt ljus. Maten rekommenderas!

Mein zweiter Besuch und immer noch die gleiche Perfektion. Ich hatte den frisch gegrillten Calamary, der sehr lecker war. Die Schwänze sind so erfrischend und der herzliche Empfang von Clive. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel mehr und mehr in Pereybere
nice indian buffet
Last night had a great time with different kind of indian dishes. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the live indian show very much. the ambiance was very good. the waiter clife is very good and the refreshing cocktails from the lady bar. just wow for my second time jere. i highly recommend the restaurant.
Peut mieux faire
Les photos d'appel ne correspondent pas du tout à la réalité actuelle des plats, c'était peut-être celles de l'ancien Côte d'Azur... pour y avoir dîné cette année on a été déçu par la qualité médiocre des plats, manque de savoir faire, des progrès à espérer.

Very poor value
Called in on impulse passing by. Ordered 1 beer (75mru) and 1 water (70mru). Ordered another beer (75mru) offered chicken wings (free). On checkout bill was 550mru. Beware!!

For the sixth time, we spend our holidays on this paradise island. The whole island is beautiful and the people are really wonderful. We will remember this year's vacations throughout the Voila Restaurant. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant, the team is unique. We have been enjoying their friendship and sincerity for over two weeks. Clive stands out.

Malgré un accueil chaleureux, nous avons été un peu déçu par notre repas. Le plats sont bons mais pas très copieux. Pas beaucoup de choix pour les desserts. Salle très sombre.

Le restaurant sert aussi de salle de petit-déjeuner pour l'hôtel Pereybere and spa, le personnel y est au petit soin. Toute l'équipe est agréable. Nous avons dîné, le service impeccable de même pour la nourriture. Produits frais et du fait maison. Nous allons participer à la soirée Mauricienne avec le buffet des plats typiques de l'île ainsi qu'un spectacle de danse, nous avons hâte.

Pas terrible
Bon mais plus cher que les restaurants du coin. Service très long (nous étions 2 tables dans le restaurant, nous avons attendu 20 minutes pour avoir nos boissons.. 20 de plus pour les plats..) Le côté " enfermé " dans la terrasse couverte est dommage. Bref, largement améliorable.
Serata segà
Nel corso di una vacanza ho cenato in questo ristorante. La serata era a tema del posto con un intrattenimento musicale locale. Ho degustato un buon menù tipico servito da personale gentilissimo. Bravo Mr. Clive.

Super god mad
3 gange spiste vi på Voila. Første gang fik vi bøf, begge var super gode. Dog skal siges at tilbehøret ikke var varmt. Anden gang faldt valget på 2 forskellige spaghetti retter, disse var også gode. Tredje gang var også vores sidste aften, valget var bøffer igen. Jeg ville ikke tøve med at spise der igen.
Nice service and customisation
My wife and I visited for lunch. We requested for something 'spicy' for my wife. Clive assisted us and got the chef to make some very nice chicken and prawn curry. For me, Clive served a nice pasta. We would definitely recommend Voila for the service and the chef for making an effort to make the food tasty.

Best restaurant in Pereybere by far! Amazing selection of food to choose from. Staff were extremely nice, Clive (our waiter) was so helpful and very kind, he made our day! This restaurant is a nice break from all of the street food in Mauritius, although there are still some delicious Mauritian delicacies. Very delicious food at a very reasonable price. Cocktails were to die for! 100% recommend going to this restaurant!
Franchement pas terrible.. il y a tellement mieux et aéré pour aller déjeuner ou dîner
En vu des commentaires plutôt positifs sur ce restaurant je me suis dit qu'il fallait que j'y aille déjeuner car je ne le connaissais pas. En fait c'est le restaurant d'un hôtel en bord de toute. L'endroit est plus qu'étouffant ! La terrasse est complètement fermée et c'est irrespirable.. se rajoute à cela le bruit de passage de camions et voitures.. pas top !! (Interdit de fumer donc en terrasse) J'ai pris une tomate mozzarella (la photo du menu m'avait donné envie..) mais qu'elle déception en voyant arriver les 5 petits quart de tomates coupées et mes 5 petits morceaux de tranche de mozza qui se perdaient dans l'assiette !! La quantité en était risible tellement c'était minuscule et le tout pour 325 roupies l'assiette s'il vous plaît !!! !!! C'est super cher (par rapport à la quantité de l'assiette) Quand vous savez que pour ce prix vous mangez une merveilleuse salade César en bord de mer du restaurant Baystone ou un super hamburger frite ou un plat de carry extra à Orizon ou aux Canisses.. ou même partout ailleurs.. Le pain apporté coupé en petite rondelle était dur comme de la pierre et immangeable !! comment peut on encore oser servir du pain comme ça ???? La salade (Voilà, spécialitée de la maison, puisqu'elle porte son nom) qu'a pris mon mari était quelconque et sans plus de saveurs.. bof bof.. Vraiment j'ai été très déçue et je ne comprend pas les avis si positifs et si dithyrambiques sur soi-disant, la cuisine exceptionnelle et différente ?? Différente, oui sur le fait que vous allez payez plus cher pour manger pas top.. Il n'y a rien d'exceptionnel dans cette cuisine.. J'ai même demandé si le chef pouvait venir car très cher pour de si petite quantité.. et il n'est jamais sorti de sa cuisine…dommage.. Je n'y retournerai pas en tout cas à moins d'un grand changement dans la cuisine et des tarifs pratiqués !!
Excellent repas
On nous a proposé de manger un repas typiquement mauricien, les 7 carry, une merveille! Le personnel et le serveur sont très sympathiques! Certe l'attente est un peu longue la plus part du temps mais tout est préparé à la commande, alors c'est compréhensible que ce soit un peu long et si c'est pour manger aussi bien, personnellement ca ne me dérange pas. Je le recommande chaleureusement! N'hésitez pas à demander les 7 carry, meilleur repas de tout le séjour!

Bon restaurant en bas de notre hôtel qui nous à permis de manger un repas typiquement mauricien (que je recommande particulièrement). Personnels sympathiques au demeurant.
Très longue attente et cuisine quelconque
Nous avons attendu plus d'une demi-heure pour des salades pauvres en goût. Le personnel est sympathique et les cocktails le sont aussi. Si vous n'êtes vraiment pas pressés et pas trop regardant... sinon passez votre chemin.

D'abord l'accueil à la fois discret et présent. Belle expérience au restaurant " Voilà Côte l'Azur "
Très bon cusinier qui combine des plats copieux et élaborés avec des produits frais présentés de façon originale et appétissante. L'emploi de produit frais justifie l'attente qu'on peut mettre à profit pour déguster un des nombreux cocktails maison. Jeune chef prometteur qui mérite d'etre découvert. Ne pas se laisser dérouter par le cadre un peu sombre et la proximité de la route royale. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Alors la... que du bon. Un calamar de 900 grammes pour deux (nous qui voulions en commander deux!!) on avais pas vu la bête, heureusement qu'il nous l'a présenté. Un chef qui fait des pâtes presque aussi bonne que ma grand mère (faut pas pousser non plus). Non vraiment ales y les yeux fermés et les cocktails sont vraiment bon aussi. 10 / 10
Great if you like three pieces of chicken on a plate
We visited recently, in large part because the restaurant gets the top rating in Pereybere. Unfortunately we did not have a five-star experience. Service was extremely slow as in a two hour meal (only entrees) even though the place was only about half full. The waiter was kind enough to advise my husband not to go with his first choice as it would take too long. Instead he chose a chicken dish that was supposed to be " accompanied by pan-fried vegetables and basil pasta ". He was surprised to see nothing but three pieces of chicken on his plate when it arrived. While it was tasty, he asked the waiter where the sides where. After discussing with the chef, the waiter explained that the chef had recently changed the menu. Even still, it would have been nice to have been informed - and most people wouldn't have opted for a dish without sides. I had gnocchi in a gorgonzola sauce that had very little flavor. Overall this was a disappointing experience, especially considering other positive reviews.

Ce restaurant est très sympathique et on s'y sent bien. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et accueillants. La nourritures est bonne et les cocktails innovants.
Very original and tasty food
Maybe looking a little Internistic from outside like most places in Pereybere. But The seafood dishes here you have to try. Very original composed using fresh vegetables only (not so common in Mauritius). Really Great taste. The Creole Dishes were also worth to mention. Finish with the homemade Rum and it will perfect a evening.

Pricey but good
To start off it is a small cosy spot, write accross the road from Pereybere Beach. This resturant closes for quiet hours, from 6pm they do dinner. (between 4 and 6 they seem to be closed) We had each chosen an option of their 3 course meals, starter, main and desert. Their seafood was excellect. I chose steak, which was not great idea, but then again I am a south african and well meat is a massive part of our diet here. It wasn't bad, it just wasnt the cut I am use to at that price. The flavours were really good and the chef did well witht he cut he had. (and like my husband said, the meat is all imported from Marocco, they dont have space in Mauritius for cattle farming) So I reccomend the seafood. Vishal had great service. Their cocktails are lovely and the complimentary spiced rum was magnificent....

En toppen restaurang med väldigt bra service! Det ända minuset är att man hade velat ha lite mer mys miljö. Men annars var allt tip top! Bra drinkar, bra meny! Maten är toppen! Absolut ett måste om man är här! Besökte dem även en dag då de hade live band, sångerskan var magisk och stämningen på top! Rekommenderas varmt!
The best in Pereybere
It was very convenient as it's our hotel restaurant. Excellent variety and quality both at breakfast and for dinner. They have live music as well, and sometimes it gets completely full, due to popularity. Staff very polite and looks after guests. Absolutely recommended.
Non tradisce le aspettative
Finalmente un locale con materie prime di qualità! Piatti ottimi, abbondanti e pesce davvero gustoso e fresco ottimamente cucinato. I prezzi sono più che onesti. Se proprio dovessi trovare un difetto: poca scelta nei dessert (ananas flambè con o senza gelato). Ci torneremo.

E un ristorante davero magnifico, faceva tanta voglia di andere li. Siamo stati quasi tutti giorni la perché il mangiare davero era un spettacolo. L'ambiente era stupendo. Très bien et plus que copieux !
Restaurant très accueillant avec un personnel agréable et professionnel. Cocktail fait avec des fruits frais ! Nous avons prit une entrée (soupe de poisson et de légume) qui sont déjà copieuses, puis en plats un steak de thon et du poisson sauce créole. Importante quantité mais qui est de qualité ! Pas déçu de nos plats ! Environ 20€ par personne ce qui les vaut amplement !

Un très bon resto avec un staff au top. Une très bonne ambiance le soir grâce au concert live. Nous y avions mangé plusieurs fois et nous avons adoré. Nous recommandons vivement ce resto.
Pas mal mais je mattendais a mieux
Service et accueil parfait. Par contre je m'attendais a mieux en vue des commentaires. Cadre sympathique avec un fond de musique (petit concert) Par contre la bouteille d eau etais tres cher. (150roupies) le reste etait correct niveau tarif.
Magnifique plateau de fruits de mer
Réservé la veille pour un anniversaire à 2, plateau de fruits de mer. Nous demandons au chef s'il fait des gâteaux aux piments, il dit que non mais il nous en fera, chose qu'il a faite, très sympa. Magnifique plateau, camaron, langouste, moule, crabe, poisson et calamars grillés. Tout était excellent.

Short version: You don't want to miss this place. Hungry? Pick anything from the menu. Thirsty? Listen to him. You'll thank me later. (two words: passionfruit rhum) Long version: We spent our 2 weeks honeymoon at Hotel Pereybere, had breakfast here every day, a combination of fried eggs with mushrooms, onions, toast, fresh local fruit, baguette, fruit jam, butter, fruit juice and good coffee every morning. Very polite waitresses. Ate dinner here 6-7 times total, we are preparing for our goodbye dinner here as I'm typing this out, it is just THAT good. The manager is an incredible personality, who is always very polite and is a very talkative and funny guy, I can tell, that the restaurant really is a passion project of his and his dedication is nothing short of amazing. We tried all the cornerstones of their menu (beef, fish, prawns) The seafood plate for two and their Steak were definitely the highlights of the place for us, but honestly, you can't miss, even if you blind pick your food. I'd give them 6 stars if possible.

I had my second trip to Pereybere from 21-27 January 2018. I had lovely breakfasts here with super service. The beefsteak is still more than perfect! The seafood salad is amazing! Congrats to all the staff and thank you for the great dishes I had. Looking forward to being there and have the mesmerizing tastes again. You are the best!!
Wir kommen wieder!
Wir waren während unseres Aufenthaltes im November mehrere Male dort essen. Eine vielseitige Speisekarte- super nette Bedienung - danke an Vishal - die Steaks und das Seafood waren der Hammer!!! We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. We begonnen met een cocktail van het huis. Daarna heerlijk gegeten, lekkere cocktails (Pina Colada was mmm! en mooi aangekleed) De service is SUPER! Bedankt Vishal. Lekkere huisgemaakte rum. Leuke extra, live muziek.

Allez y pour l'accueil et la cuisine
Nous y sommes allés dîner le 28 Novembre avec des amis. (Classé num 1 sur tripadvisor à cette date). Ce restaurant est situé en bord de route très passagère mais le soir c plutôt calme même en terrasse. Nous avions réservé notre table en terrasse (entourée de vitres). L'accueil à été très convivial et souriant.. Le top! Mes amis et mon conjoint ont commandé un menu. Les croustillants en entrée (préférez ceux au poulet bq plus goûteux) Le thon mi cuit très bon (mi cuit comme demandé) et l'ananas flambé au rhum excellent.. Une seule banane flambée pour les autres:un peu juste et pas caramélisée. Pour moi un plat à la carte: Poisson entier grillé (c'était un capitaine) un petit peu sec (je n'ai pas voulu de sauce) mais ça n'explique pas tout.. Bon rapport qualité / prix et aussi la bonne humeur.. A noter qu'un rhum arrangé vous est offert en fin de repas.

My sister and me were staying in Pereybere for a 12-day holiday, and we were lucky to have our breakfast served at an amazing restaurant Cote D'Azur!!! The food served was delicious and staff was always welcoming, smiley and attended to our requests. Especially cute and caring girl Daveena, who advised us about the best dishes of the day and altered it to our needs! Most of our meals we had at this restaurant, enjoying the variety of fresh seafood and side dishes!!!!! It tasted amazing, we always left our plates clean, not a small piece was left behind 😊 a must visit place! Great value for money, tasty food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere!!!!!!

Un accueil unique, chaleureux et personnalisé de Patricia (la gérante) dans ce restaurant en face de la plage publique de Pereybere, où le coucher de soleil sur la mer donne un décor de carte postale. Nous l'avons choisi pour fêter un évènement personnel et Patricia nous a concocté un vrai moment de gourmandise avec un menu personnalisé, en dehors des sentiers battus et avec une ambiance romantique. Un délice à tout point de vue. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet établissement, d'autant plus que nous y avons pris nos petits déjeuner pendant plus de 10 jours, avons gouté les tapas et rencontré des personnes très agréables. Nous recommandons cette adresse pour l'ambiance, pour les concerts de musiques qui s'y tiennent, pour le petit déjeuner, pour l'inventivité des menus et l'audace culinaire du chef et surtout pour l'accueil de Patricia, patronne emblématique et attachante!

Before we even had our first breakfast there, Patricia - the owner of Cote D'Azur - came to introduce herself to us at a place called Julies, just down the road from our hotel. All I can say is 'Wow' - what an awesome person she is. Made us feel at home the very day we landed. It didn't end there - since this review is about a restaurant, let me get to that bit. The food and service was world class - her chef is fantastic. You have to have the crepes! And pasta! The desserts were delicious and they make the best Pina Colada I've ever had. Everyday we were greeted with smiles. We had a few very early morning excursions, and they prepared take away breakfasts for us before they even opened. Do yourself a favour and stop by.

wir waren ganz oft in diesem Restaurant - zum Frühstück - zum Mittag und zum Abendessen. Haben dort den netten Service genossen und mit Erny so manches Pläuschchen gehalten. Oft hat sie uns gute Tips gegeben. Am Abend war dort oft Tanz oder ein besonderes Musik-Special. Das Essen immer lecker, der Wein gut gekühlt. I have been again to Cote D'Azur. I could not help myself from popping in after last time. I was not disappointed and will not hesitate to put a 5-star this time. I was recognised as a first-time client and the hospitality was simpy formidable. It was a lovely evening with an ambient atmosphere with a cool sea breeze flowing in and making the stay more than pleasurable with the mixed crowd. I will definitely recommend again as it's a place to go for those seeking simplicity and bespoke service.
Just awful
We walked into an empty restaurant just after 1pm. Menus arrived and a beer order was taken. Beer was promptly delivered. It was all downhill from here. We ordered the " famous seafood platter " for 2. Then we sat waiting for 45 minutes, a telly blaring behind us, an angle grinder screaming outside and a busy road flooding the restaurant with traffic noise. When the platter arrived we each first tried the lobster. Unsure we smelled it first. Acrid. We left it. Next the crabs. Loads of them apparently made entirely of shell. Anonymous fish was ok. Prawns not bad. Squid ok. Mussels? Well they just never appeared. The white wine glass was from a 3 / 4 empty bottle, oxidised and revolting. I had another beer. When we asked for the bill we were told cash only because the machine was broken and had been returned to the bank. Just imagine the chaos that would have ensued had more diners walked in?! Quite simply the worst meal I've had in many years. Avoid like a dodgy oyster.

Good food, friendly staff, reasonably priced. definitely worth a visit ! They also serve a " home made " Rum after dinner which is delicious

E' il ristorante all'interno dell hotel Pereybere & Spa. Siamo stati a cena due sere durante la nostra settimana di vacanza. Nel menù piatti di ispirazione mediterranea, di carne, pesce e pasta più unascelta di cucina mauriziana. Una sera abbiamo optato per la cucina creola, piatti deliziosi e abbondanti. La seconda sera abbiamo assaggiato la carne (filetto ed entrecote). Buonissimi. il filetto di manzo cotto alla perfezione con l'aggiunta di una fetta di ananas alla piastra, veramente buono. Prezzi competitivi, assolutamente non caro per la qualità delle materie prime.

Great potential
So partnered to the Pereybere Hotel and Spa this place was new to us. Using local available produce the chef is pushing the boat out. The menu choice is a reasonable size but is generally more expensive that other places in Pereybere. While we enjoyed our meal it didn't quite meet the expectations based on the price. The host is an outgoing young man who is keen to develop the place bringing in live music on a number of evenings (which mostly was a bit too loud when sitting eating as a group making it difficult to talk). Like most of pereybere however it's welcoming place where the personal touch goes a long way. We stopped in most days for a drink, a good bar selection after a day by the beach or pool, tho wine list mostly French and definitely over priced. Would certainly suggest more " local " lower / mid priced wine to encourage diners to return. We wish the team very best wishes and hope to see this little business develop and find its place Pereybere
Beware
There is something odd about this restaurant and the way the food appears from a hotel at the rear. We had an alarming meal - my daughters chicken was served only cooked on the outside and raw for most of the inside. Not what one needs when on holiday. I suspect it was a poorly microwaved dish. The worst meal of our holiday and we have eaten in many restaurants in Grand Baie and enjoyed all the meals so far. Read lower down through the other glowing reviews and then have a look from the outside to see if you like it before going in.

Das mit Abstand teuerste, was uns im Ort geboten wurde- und das war es nicht wert. Service freundlich, aber langsam, die Fischgerichte gut, aber eben alles ein drittel teurer als alle anderen. Highlight: der Mojito.
Poor Service and Food
This Restaurant has a nice setting which attracted us but we were soon to be dissapointed with the slowness of the service and the awful seafood dish we had. They claim that their fish are fresh but unfortunately, you can taste that it is a scam.
A first-class experience..
I have had the pleasure to enjoy the excellent service and food by the restaurant. My family and I came on an unexpected trip to Pereybere Plage and found this sympathetic restaurant near the beach and easy to find on the main road. It has been a delight to enjoy the delicious starters and main courses with a glimpse of the local scenery on a sunny midday. The service was all great and it makes the all the suprise vist all enjoyable. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Pereybere Beach. It's a must.

Good Food & Service
While in Mauritius for a few days we stopped at this place to eat one night. I can honestly say that I was growing concerned about the food options while here. But, coming across this place was the best thing that happened. Everything that they served us was really good. They had a 3-course meal option that me and my boyfriend ended up getting that included a salad, red snapper meal, and dessert. The salad ended up getting upgraded to an eggplant dish that was delicious. It was the best meal we had while in Mauritius.

Went for dinner at the restaurant, to be honest the food was so delicious especially the pasta which was homemade, the service was very good well experienced staff and the chef came to served the food to our table which we were very impressed. Le pire des réveillons!!
C'est le 24 décembre et mon amie et moi décidons d'aller dans se restaurant pour fêter le réveillon. Nous sommes arrivées à 19h30 comme convenu lors de notre réservation. Dès le début on s'aperçoit que le personnel attend que tout le monde arrive pour nous service le cocktail de bienvenu l'attente était donc déjà longue. Et ce n'était que le début car la totalité du repas s'est étalée sur 5 heures nous avons quittés le restaurant à 00h30. 1h entre chaque plat pour au final se retrouver face à des portions bien trop petites au vue de la lenteur du service. Par contre les entrées et le plat que nous avons mangé (bien que pas terminé car plus faim) étaient très bons ce qui sauve un peu cette prestation plus que médiocre du début à la fin avec un personnel notamment le serveur de ce soir la qui était très désagréable et irrespectueux envers mon amie et moi meme.. la politesse n'est pas une qualité que cette personne cultive malheureusement pour le client!! Et pour finir le dessert et la c'est le bouquet final.. on devait nous présenter une " forêt noire revisitée " nous avons eu le droit à une part de gâteau (sans doute congelé) a l'orange sans la moindre présentation!! Par contre nous avons été surpris par la rapidité à laquelle on nous apporte l'addition! Restaurant et prestation honteuse fuyez cet endroit!!

Dîner excellent au Côte d'Azur! Je suis très exigeante en matière culinaire et j'ai été impressionnée par la qualité du repas. Des mets excellents, un service génial et plein d'humour grâce à Vishal qui vous accueille adorablement. Les petits-déjeuners sont aussi fantastiques. Je recommande vraiment!

The food was great but the waiter had a little bit of an attitude when we ordered. We also waited 15 minutes for the bill.. And was then told that they only take cash... food is great though.

Cote d'Azur - the food is very good, we ate twice in the evenings. All the Sundays, from the 19:30h, they have a very good band for live music. This is the best restaurant in Pereybere, in my opinion. We ate also two times at Grill & Chill (situated next to the hotel Pereybere), but the food is much better at Cote d'Azur. But a little bit more expensive, to be honest. Recommended restaurant !

Bei Erni & Davina gibt es den besten Fisch in Perybere. Neben Livemusik & mauritianischer Gastlichkeit haben sich die beiden Damen auf Lobster spezialisiert. Ein absolutes " Must Have " wenn man in der Gegend unterwegs ist. Preis / Leistung sind perfekt. Allen einen guten Appetit, die dort vorbeikommen.

Food was good basic creole cooking in a relaxed atmosphere. The cook was pleasant and easy to ask about the food. The menu was small, but quite varied. Went there for breakfast and dinner... both were presented well and to a good quality.

Les nouveaux gérants se donnent du mal pour rendre attractif ce restaurant. Les produits de base sont bons et le chef de grande qualité. Les cocktails de jus de fruit frais sont excellents. Par contre, le décor est perfectible et les prix un peu élevés.

Gourmet food, great entertainment and a walm welcome
This restaurant is a real hidden gem. Sharing the plot with the Pereybere Hotel and just across the street from the beautiful Pereybere beach, we ate at this restaurant many times in during our stay. A great place to sit on the outside seating and watch the world go by. Food is mix of delicous Mauritian cuisine, with some additions such as Chinese and European dishes. The food was always of a very high standard - I particularly loved the Sweet, Sour and Ginger Fish Fillet with crispy noodle - and side dishes of fresh salad, rice or potatoes always included. There are some very good set menus, too, starting at well under 10euros for three high quality courses. The best was the theme nights - the Indian buffet and with traditional sega dance was a paricular highlight. We tried almost every restaurant in Pereybere - and this was the best by far. Highly recommended.

Das mit weitem Abstand beste Restaurant in Pereybere. Auswahl Geschmack, Ambiente, Personal, alles Top ! Dazu die Preise, unglaublich günstig! Würden auch sechs Sterne geben, waren 8 mal nacheinander da und immer Top Die Preise sind genau wie bei den anderen Restaurants !

Although there were no vegetarian dishes on the menu, it was no problem at all to get a vegetarian meal. The chef made a delicious veggie curry. And they promised to make a special veggie pasta if we would come in again on another day. Great service.

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs mehrmals im Restaurant Cote d'Azur essen und waren jedesmal mehr als zufrieden. Nette, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Bedienung, sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Sehr praktisch sind die hervorragenden Deutschkenntnisse von Erny und Chris, was vieles erleichtert. Zum Essen werden einheimische Gerichte serviert. Sie sind schön angerichtet und schmecken einfach gut und auch der Wein ist gut temperiert. Unser Vorspeisentipp: Octopus Salad. Preis / Leistung stimmt absolut. Für uns ein Geheimtipp in Pereybere. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Sur les conseils de notre taxi Vishal, nous sommes allés diner dans ce restaurant où l'ambiance est très sympa avec un groupe de musique live, un patron et un serveur à l'écoute et disponibles. Des plats très abordables avec poissons frais péchés du matin et autres fruits de mer (gambas, langouste...). Nous avons terminé avec un excellent ananas flambé et un délicieux rhum arrangé offert par le patron.

At the middle of dinner, the cook came out, sat next to our table and started to smoke. He kept his apron while smoking. Service not very good either. Check the menu what you receive because you sometime don't receive what is written in their menu. I will never return this place.

Deux dîners pendant notre séjour. Accueil spontané et plein d'humour... cuisine soignée, chef passionné, cadre assez élégant ! L'an prochain, nous y retournerons... Le " plateau de fruits de mer " savoureux et " juteux ", à 3300 Roupies pour deux, avec un blanc d'Afrique du Sud soigné (chardonnay) a un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Assiettes bien présentées. Restaurant à essayer.

Dîner avec accueil sympathique très bonne cuisine prix correct.. Service un peu lent mais peut être du au manque de personnel du fait de la basse saison. A recommandé sans problème.

Great seafood
Went for dinner on Good Friday. Restaurant was very clean and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had Bruschetta and the Dorade fillet with vegetables and the grilled calamari with salad. All dishes were extremely tasteful and very well presented. The Crewe caramel was delightful. During our meal the chef came out and asked about our meal which was very nice to show he was concerned about our opinion. Highly recommended and we will visit again.

Arrêté presque par hasard un soir de novembre. Juste en face de la plage. Belle déco, personnel accueillant et pro. Le meilleur est dans l'assiette. Calamar à la plancha cuit à la perfection avec une sauce safranée. Un excellent moment. À essayer !

Pour ma part un rougaille de saucisses pour mon amie des moules. Les moules étaient bonnes mais pour ce qui est du rougaille je me suis retrouvé avec de vulgaires knackis et ça c'est vraiment moyen

Had dinner there a lot of times on our holiday. We do not know what to expect since the exterior doesn't tell you a lot. Every meal that we had was simply delicious! Fresh and perfect cooked fish, sea food, tender steak and great starters. But what was more fascinated than food were the stuff. 😁 The waiter is there to make your evening ful with fun and great cocktails. And the chef is there for your every wish and to suggest you and explain everything about the meals. Those two made our holiday even better. Thanks Vishal and Amal!
Super lecker - ein Muss in Pereybere
Wir waren trotz vieler Restaurants in Pereybere während unserer Urlaubswoche fast jeden Abend im Cote d'Azur essen. Super gutes Essen, sehr abwechslungsreich, schmackhaft, alles frisch zubereitet und lecker angerichtet. Die Wirtin Erny spricht sehr gut deutsch. Alles Gäste wurden wir immer sehr individuell und freundlich bedient. Sonderwünsche waren jederzeit möglich und wurden erfüllt. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für Mauritus. Eine echte Empfehlung in Pereybere. Restaurant befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstraße vor dem Pereybere Appartment Hotel.
Gutes Seafood
Hier kann man leckeres Seafood essen. Hatte die creolischchen Shrimps und mein Freund die gegrillten Shrimps. Bis auf die Pommes bei meinem Freund auf dem Teller war alles super lecker. Für Seafoodliebhaber zum empfehlen

De bons plats dans une ambiance chaleureuse
Un restaurant très sympa pour dîner. Les plats sont très bons, mes amis sont plutôt " poissons et fruits de mer ", ils étaient ravis, des produits frais et très bien travaillés. De mon coté, je préfère la viande.. Un délice, une qualité de viande extra...! Amal cuisine parfaitement! Coté service, rien à reprocher à Vishal, extra, souriant, agréable et aux petits soins! Ambiance chaleureuse garantie!! De plus, des soirées musicales " live " le vendredi et dimanche soir superbes! De franches rigolades et tout le monde chante, c'est vraiment sympa! Bref je recommande vivement ce restaurant! et j'y retournerai avec plaisir! ;-)
Excellent food with a delightful welcome
We had read some excellent older reviews of the restaurant on Trip Advisor, but it was closed when we arrived in Pereybere. A few days later we saw it was open though rather quiet, with a temporary looking menu on the board. Turned the previous owner Erny, who had left for a while was back, and ready to get things going again. We had two terrific dinners here. The food was fresh and tasty, well presented in good quantities. Some of the menu items had not yet come back on as the deliveries hadn't arrived, but that was all explained at the start and just went to support the view that the produce was top quality. We loved the chicken and the crevettes as starter. Then we stuck with fish and seafood for main course, and everything was as promised. Follow all this with a coffee and nightcap, and the perfect evening was rounded off. In summary, yes, walk the strip in Pereybere, consider trying some of the other restaurants to spread the business, but be sure that you will have a great evening and leave very satisfied if you go to the Cote D'Azur
