Amazing seafood in Costa Rica 🇨🇷!!!
This amazing restaurant is a great place for amazing seafood dishes and delicious food. They have heavenly delicious fish sticks.
Service and food was awesome!
This place is off the main road so it was super accessible. It looks like a typical soda, but the breakfast (desayuno) was excellent. My eggs were scrambled to perfection and my bacon was crispy the way I like it. My husband had the Huevos Rancheros and he loved it! The only negative was that it is very loud with the road noise, which made my business call and conversation a bit difficult.
Great Food, Service and Value!
Great food, good service and a varied menu, we have been to Steven Lisa's 4 times it is always good! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Delicious Breakfast and Dinner
We had dinner one weeknight during our stay in Tarcoles, Costa Rica. The menu was expansive, but everything the four of us ordered was excellent - including the fish and hamburger my husband had. It was do good, we came back for breakfast on my husband's birthday. The banana pancakes and huevos rancheros were excellent! It has a low key atmosphere with plastic tablecloths, but the food is anything but casual!
Very tasty
We ended up going twice in one day for our trip to San José. Breakfast was really nice with the banana pancakes & their típico with beef is very tasty. We stopped for dinner & were really pleased with the fresh fish, fresh vegetables. The pasta Maik made my guest happy as well. They handled the shrimp / shellfish allergy respectfully. The service was friendly on both occasions. It's a nice atmosphere with a nice garden with seating to the side.
Coconut shrimp was enormous and delicious!!!
My family LOVED our meal here. Two of us got the coconut shrimp and, wow, it was a large serving of some huge shrimp. It was soooooo good with a mango sauce and avocado on top. YUMMY!! My husband tried the seafood rice and he enjoyed it and had fun finding what surprises were to be found in the rice. Our waiter was a young man named David who was so helpful and a joy to visit with.
Wonderful food while on the road
Our tour guide had our meals planned ahead here and it was wonderful food and great service. Clean facilities and open air restaurant. Our teenager group loved it.
A Good Stop
I went here with a local and found the food very good. Rice dishes seem to be the specialty and I got the squid rice dish, it was great. Service was good but my friend knew everyone by name so I guess it's hard to judge that. Ample parking, clean, open air and distanced. Perfect for my day even though it was raining.
Que Rico La Comida - The Food is Delicious
Ask for the special menu which has chicken and rice with a nice little delicious salad and comes with a fruit smoothie / icee. The food and service are wonderful. My son who loves chicken fingers even got some chicken fingers. There were large iguanas close by as well which made the atmosphere great. The special menu was about $8 a meal and they take credit cards so it makes it really easy. I highly recommend this place as I have been to a lot of restaurants across the world and this is one that makes you feel like a local, but is also American / tourist friendly.
Roadside restaurant
This restaurant is huge, but had no guests when we visited. The service was friendly, but the food was average. Would expect more of a place this highly rated. we had fish and tuna. Huge portions, but the food lacked the extra detail.
Fun casual place
Wonderful food, great service. I am a vegetarian and they made me some fabulous vegetarian nachos. My friend had Seabass, fresh, seasoned to perfection.
Excelente servicio, Excelente Comida y precios muy favorables
Estuvimos un grupo de 8 la semana pasada, el 30 de Agosto, Fuimos a desyunar y nos gusto mucho la comida y la Atencion, decidimos regresar al dia siguiente para la comida FABULOSA... la atencion de todos los empleados fue estupenda y la amibilidad de Jason. Lo recomiendo para todos los horarios, los precios son muy favorables y la comida estupenda
Great little local restaurant
It's not remarkable looking if you're driving by, as it's not a beach restaurant. But the food is great, large portions, freshly prepared and the staff is incredible. Wine list is short and cheap. We'd certainly go back. Varied menu, too.
