Should Have Been Earlier !
One of the places on our list to visit while in Goodrich was Square Brewery. Well we arrived here at 4:50 on a Sunday afternoon... not realizing they would be closing at 5 ! Our error... but the server gladly poured us each a beer which we took outside to the picnic tables provided. He said he had to " clean up " so it was just fine... no rush. There was still another 3 people outside as well... so we didn't feel like we were keeping him from closing on time. We, did however, decide not to take advantage of his time and drank our beers a little quicker than we would have liked to. Upon returning the glasses to the bar we then purchased a few cans of beer to take home with us. I like the fruitier, " tangy " beers... and don't mind the hops so I chose some of those. I chose 2 West Coast IPA and a couple of Hop Major (I think)... I believe my husband... who doesn't like " hoppy " beer chose the Vienna is Waiting ? It's been a while since we were there and I may not have these names correct! However the beer was enjoyable.
Tasty beers
Great beers, and a variety of flavours. Patio Heater, Vienna is Waiting, Milk Mustache Stout, and the Octoberfest beer are all excellent
Great Experience / Drinks!
Great spot!! We had a wonderful time at Square Brew this past weekend. Everyone loved the mango and lime seltzers and the sour beer. There are several picnic tables outside and it is fur baby friendly!

A decent brewery
A fairly average brewery with average beers. Friendly staff and patrons, dog friendly, reasonable prices. Overall, this Square Brew is about what you would expect of a brewery in general, although it may be a comparative standout in Goderich in comparison to other local options. If you are looking for something with a higher production value, Cowbell is worth the trip.
Pure Enjoyment
Of course you MUST try these craft beers that are exceptional, but why not stop in for a sit-down gathering with friends and try a flight! As a group of 8, we spent an evening at Square Brew and order a pizza to be delivered! I have to say that the stout was my favourite but then again, there wasn't one that I couldn't recommend! Include Square Brew on your trip to Huron County!
In for a homemade drink
we went for a brew and we were impressed with their labour. Also you can bring your lunch with you. They often have special occasions like having our well known Pete Wick who runs a food business in town and knows everything about oyster to have a shucking night at the Square Brew.
Live Music night a total blast
We arrived to 2 bands playing sing-a-long rock. It was a family atmosphere with awesome music. Beer is excellent too! Highly recommended for a night out in Goderich.
Craft beer and live music
Great atmosphere and owners. Will be definitely returning. I only had one type of their beer, I enjoyed it so much I kept drinking the same type. There was a running group that met there, and some that brought in a pizza, people of different age groups. Very friendly atmosphere to enjoy a craft pint. Free live music was awesome as well.
Great Beer with some advice needed
Beer is excellent employees are friendly. Seating and activities are available. One thing that isn't posted or made clear is the refill policy on their growlers. Make sure you clean before returning for refill they don't clean at the brewery. Suggestion for management have it printed on the bottle opposite the logo.
Friendly staff and tasty beer
Excellent staff and delicious beer selection. Location is a bit out of the way. You are welcome to bring your own picnic or order take out.
Fun Place Great Beer and Live Music
Stopped in on a bike tour for a beer. New, clean facilty. Was told they are doing some live music which is great. Only tried a few beers but what I tried was very tasty. Stop in while in Goderich. Cheers,
Every Beer is Great!
Love trying new beers in the Square Brew tasting room. Whenever I go to Square Brew my friends ask me to bring them back some beer. The big cans are great for sharing at dinner.
Great bartender
My husband found the bartender excellent. He learned a lot about the brewing and the master brewer. I enjoyed The board games with my kids. Beers were great and happy to support a local business

Unique and Delightful
Just spent the afternoon here with my family. Amazing flights and the bartender was super. Definitely made the experience A+++ The beers we're all tasty and the merchandise was great for some Christmas gifts. Can't wait to come back again.
Great brewery experience!
A definite must-see in Goderich for any craft beer enthusiasts. It's been open 8 weeks and they've done a great job with the place. Picinc tables inside, a nice bar, plus some games. Three very different beers to choose from. I would definitely return!
Great 1st visit
Stopped by when we were up at Point Farms. This place is still very new but very welcoming. Had some games to play there. Had three good beers. Strongly recommend the IPL, very tasty. Try this place out if you like Craft Beer.
