평양냉면
부산에서 평양냉면은 이집이 제입에는 딱이네요.. 너무 슴슴하지 않은 육수에 메밀가루 적당히 섞인 면발..
If you want to taste 'not commercialized' Naeng-myun visit here!
I love this restaurant because they don't use MSG (kind of artificial flavor) so that I can imagine a taste of old time and enjoy natural tasting. There are two kinds of cold noodles. 평양 식 (pyeong-yang style) and 함흥 식 (ham-həng style). Pyongyang style is noodle with cold beef stock. and ham-həng style is noodle with much red hot chili powder sauce. I have been tried Pyongyang style every time. Because that is a typical style of Naeng-myun and not too hot. I think mainly beef and chicken and some green onion and ginger maybe used for the stock. And added sour taste with some stock (?) of white radish Kimchi. If you don't like something hot, be careful don't chew Some pieces of green or red colors of hot peppers added in the Naeng-myun. Maybe if you looking forward to eat meat cuisine, order Bulgogi (한우 불고기) which is soy sauce based sliced beef and onion dish. And you can also taste grounded mung beans pancake, Bin-dae-duck (빈대떡) served with soy-source. the restaurant is placed on a narrow lane and quite small so that maybe hard to find where the enterence door is. You should remember yellow ground sign written '사리원냉면'. As you see, I'm not good at English but I really want to share my experience and traditional real taste which is not commercialized with global visitor.
