Delicious halal food from Uzbekistan!
We had a plate of delicious fried lamb with onions and dumplings stuffed with beef- the lamb was very tender and very delicious and the dumplings were an added treat. This was definitely a new experience for us since we've never had Uzbek food- it was certainly worth it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Horrible food and service. Unfriendly ~
Horrible. Not welcoming at all. The waiter didn't bring any water even when food was ordered. Asked again and he looked pissed off while everybody had water. Menu all in their own language but no sense of being helpful. I mean you have a restaurant in a foreign country, why wouldn't you have your menu with basic English translation or Korean. Be helpful at least ? No proper hello or thank you. Asked the guy to pack the food as I was getting late before it arrived at the table (again owner and waiter were pissed) I even apologized.. 12, 000 for a soup. When I opened it on my journey, looked like dog food. More fat than even meat. Disgusting. Go to the other restaurants where they are welcoming. I never write reviews but wanted to this time because I just threw away the food and asa business owner myself, I think it's important to make the customer feel welcomed and not like feeling sorry to be there.. I'll take my money to the other restaurants there who serve way better food and are friendly.
Disappointed
As the menu in Russian, we just made our order thru picture... wrongly ordered tuna sashimi w potato which was served half frozen. We also ordered 1 whole roasted chicken but it smell not fresh... we only manage to eat quarter of the chicken...
Lunch with family
We were served with a tray of bowls containing different types of salad. Choose the bowl you want to eat because you'll be charged for it. The food is okay. Not spicy enough for those who prefer their food to be a bit spicier.
Still hungry
I eaten kebab. Actually I have tried to eat. But the quality was awful. The decorations were nice. Poor English. Not enough to communicate. Russian menus. You just choose from the pictures :)
사마르칸트
크기가 엄청난 양꼬치부터 우즈벡 전통음식을 맛볼수 있었습니다. 러시아 맥주인 발티카와 함께 하니 정말 맛있었습니다.
Decent enough Uzbek eatery
In the " international area " of Busan, this is one of the many restaurants along a row that offers Russian or ex republic food / goods. The laghman noodles were tasty, a mix of Russian / asian tastes, the shashliks (large meat skewers) were good, and the plov (rice pilaf) was quite filling. Drinks were kind of lacking, and there should have been more variety. Service was polite, but a bit slow, but this was because there was a large group of Arabic people celebrating the end of Ramadan. With big crowds such as this, the place can get really smoky from the grilling, as in you will go blind smoky..
Great Uzbek Eats, for Cheap!
Located in Busan's Chinatown, this restaurant offers authentic Uzbek fare for a reasonable price. The lamb skewers were particularly delicious. However, I found a new favorite food in the Samsa, a meat filled pastry, dripping with grease and piping hot!
Interesting Uzbek food
We were intrigued to eat here and were had a good experience. While the menu is not in English, the very nice server helped us make our choices. The place is a family business and we were welcomed nicely into their restaurant. We had some boiled meatballs, dumplings and a samsa. The meatball kebabs were nice and even better with some of the spicy sauce they served, The dumplings were quite nice and the samsa was pleasant. While not the most exciting food we have eaten, it was fine and interesting. The service was friendly and we enjoyed our meal. The prices were reasonable and it was a different dining experience for us.
Great Uzbek and Russian food
I have been coming to this place for the past 3 or 4 years, it has excellent lamb kebobs, as well as chicken and beef, the meat stuffed pastry is also (Samsa), The beer is also great if your craving something other than Hite and the typical Korean fare then I would highly recommend this place. I have nothing but good things to say.... prices have gone up recently but the food is still worth it..
