Definitely not the same Pizza it used to be!
ordered from the one on 22nd Street. ordered a pepperoni pineapple with extra sauce and the garlic bones. We were disappointed with both items. Since the last time that we ordered from there. the amount of the toppings on Pizza is very very skimpy as to what it used to be. The extra sauce?? I'm even wondering where the sauce was! The cheese is like a thin layer of plastic. These guys used to be known for their ooey gooey loads of cheese on their Pizza, huge disappointment. This is our first time having the garlic bone / fingers and they add cayenne pepper or chili flakes or something on the pepper side, terrible! Where's the garlic? The cheese is like chewing plastic. Big disappointment! The crust / dough has been changed. It's the cross between a cracker and a dough. We frequented this place, because it is one of the few places that actually have an " oven baked " pizza and not a conveyor like belt oven.

Tried a different pizza place Boy what a mistake Found plastic in my pizza Reached out and was told a manager would get back to me, but never did Bad enough there was plastic in it But when told a manager would not get back to try and remedy the issue Just plan bad service Do not recommend
Great Pizza, Crappy wings
We really like all of the pizzas and is our favorite place. Ordered wings with our last order. Horrible
NO SAUCE ON PIZZA??
WHO EVER HEARD OF A PIZZA WITHOUT PIZZA SAUCE! We ordered two pizza's one chicken which came with no sauce on it. And the Buccaneer meat lover pizza which came with half the meat it normally has on it (I have had this pizza before). I was shocked at what we saw and very disappointed. Truly overcharged for what we received. Will not return or order from here again. Told 45 min. to 1 hour arrived 1 1 / 2 hour so 1 / 2 hour late. Menu offers free delivery over $30.00 our order was $50.00 and we were charged $3.50 delivery. Be Careful.
Pizza
The best pizza place in saskatoon. I must say the visitors and local must try this their pizza. They have good family priced pizzas listed in their menu.
Light on the sause and the toppings
Now we have ordered from here for years and this last order was not up to par. The Bucaneer is usally and inch thick and this last pie was lucky if it was half an inch. The pizza my wife ordered was new to us but again light on the sause and toppings. If this is the new way they are putting oukt pizzas then it is time to try another company.
Pizza Pirates 115th
Dont go there. I spent about 40 dollars and my pizza was burnt. Called them, and they were unapologetic. They said the next time I came to request them to cook the dough lighter..... This looks like burnt toast. I tossed it out when I got home. Please, dont go to Pizza Pirates on 115th. Go elsewhere for your pizza cravings.

One of the best wheels I have had, had the equalator oinker. If u like ham and pineapple this is for you. Was fast and well priced.
Pizza Pirates on 115th Street
They have only been open about 4 weeks. We saw the sign and decided to check it out. It is take out or delivery only. Pizza was very good. Reasonably priced. The pizza smelled so good we were tempted to grab a slice while we waited. The guy who served us was courteous and prompt. The place looked clean and well kept. We'll go back there again.
Pizza sauce is not good
I was pretty disappointed, the sauce was not good at all! The crust was good, the toppings were good, cheese was good but the sauce ruined the pizza. I have never had sauce like this before, there was about 10 of us and almost everyone commented on the strange sauce. If it was super cheap pizza I would just not worry about it. But the pizza was expensive so I was expecting really good pizza. If I were you I would get my pizza elsewhere.
Pizza
I picked up a large Dubloon pizza tonight and brought it back to the hotel. This pizza is, in my humble opinion, some of the best you'll find in Saskatoon. Tasted great.
pleasantly surprised
I stopped in to pick up a slice and the taste, quality of the pizza was excellent. Not burnt, fresh toppings and as far as pizza goes was good. Will order a whole pie next time now that I know what im getting.
TAKE OUT OR DELIVERY ONLY
PIZZA is meant to have lots of toppings and heavy on the toppings. This place handles the task 100%. Vern, s comes close but loses out on the price and quality of the toppings. Pirates offers great value with their well loaded pizzas with stay on the dough not sliding off like other do. Once you have tried a Pirates pizza you will be hooked. You might pay more than some places that offer pizzas that are very light on the toppings and look like they were painted on the dough they are so thin. 1 inch pizza is what I am talking about and Pirates is the place to find it.

Ordered take-out from Pizza Pirates Saturday night. Best pizza we have had in a long time!! Great crust and lots of fillings!! So good!!! Pizza was delivered hot!!! Would definitly recommend! !
Great Pizza. You get what you pay for
I will be returning to this place. This is as close as I have found to what I consider to be Regina style pizza. You will look at the menu and think it's a little on the pricey side vs the cheap pizza joints but it is definitely worth the extra. There is no comparing the two types of pizza.
Now thats how you make Pizza
Finally a fast food eatery who knows how to make a nice thick pizza not swimming is oil. In the land of paint on pizza's were very few toppings are used come this wonderful place the knows how to dress the pizza. An ALL MEAT at this place is just that heavy on the heat great crust and lots of cheese.

Hey!...10 stars out of a possible 5! We had a Hawaiian and a Teriyaki Chicken pizza for a B-Day party that were excellent, the best tasting flavorful ham I have had on a pizza in years. Pizza was well cooked, great tasty crust, and I've had pizza from Verns (greasy) and many other pizza restaurants that today are cheap on toppings, the meat is often VERY minimal. This pizza had a great balance of everything, lots of meat, the quality in past few months here has skyrocketed since the new management took over. Give Pizza Pirates a try, the new owners are friendly, great personable people that care.

Great name, Great Pizza. The Doubloon was meatly, flavourful and filling. Delivery was quick and courteous.
Not good
We ordered from there once. The meat tasted rotten. Needless to say we did not eat. Nor have we ordered from here again.
Far From The " Best " Pizza In Saskatoon !
OK so some have gone out on the limb with the " Best " word in their rant. We've had it twice from them and both feel it was average+ but by no means the " Best " and we eat out a lot. Myself I usually order the pizza. (I've eaten pizza since 1962 in five provinces in Canada, Inuvick, several states and Hawaii.) I'll order again from them sometime for sure but it isn't a priority pizzeria for me. Many better choices for roughly the same dollaros.
Take out
Had pizza and wing take out at a friends, it was made quick, was still hot when it got to the house, pizza had thick toppings as cooked just right! Wings were flavourful! Recommend to anyone looking for a good pizza place jn saskatoon
OK pizza but...
This review reflects the last two visits I've made. Both with mixed experiences. First the good. Despite Pizza Pirates being rated near the top pizza place on Urbanspooon the pizza itself is good but not spectacular. It makes me think that those folks rating it high might simply have not experienced great pizza. Too bad. It can be much better. But it's the other stuff that drives a guy crazy. Last time I order a couple of pizzas it took twice as long as they said to get the pizza. I ended up driving to get it and the waiting an additional 30 minutes. A hassle for sure. Then yesterday I ordered two pizzas by phone. This time they were ready when promised but we got the wrong pizza. The one was correct but the other was an ordered vegetarian with Feta and no mozza. Sure enough it arrived with no mozza and lots of feta cheese but it also had lots of meat! Even the written order sheet and receipt said vegetarian (or their Mediterranean) but it was full of meat. So a crazy spot with okay pizza but nothing outstanding. If you aren't fussy and have a couple of pints going, then you'll be satisfied.
Great Pizza, Crappy Packaging
When you order pizza from here make sure you tell them to remove the cardboard pizza box liner and replace it with wax paper, The problem: cardboard liner soaks up all the juices from the pizza and then becomes part of the pizza itself and you will eventually eat the cardboard liner with it. I did tell them about it and was thanked for the feedback and was left feeling they were going to remedy the problem. 2 months later I ordered again only to learn they are still using cardboard liners so I insisted they use wax paper and they did but had I not been there to pick up i would have got cardboard as I did see other orders being packaged with cardboard instead of wax paper. BRUTAL!!!
We ordered pizza from this place and after an hour we called to find out where it is. We were told that we cancelled our order which we DID NOT! Followed up by the girl on the phone going, " oh well it was a mistake " and hung up. I'll never attempt another order from this place.
Best Pizza in town
I have been in Saskatoon for more than two years, from Arizona. This is the best pizza that I have had in Canada. The prices are a little high but everything in this town is high.
Worst Pizza EVER! Over 2 hours late on delivery time!
Our Company ordered pizza from these pizza pirates and wow what a mistake! Everything was ordered and planned well in advance and these pizza pirates failed big time! First off the pizza I had was the absolute worst pizza I ate in my life. toppings looked and tasted like they came out of the trash. pizza was soggy and the crust was like cardboard. I could buy any frozen pizza and it would taste ten times better than this place. Not to mention how they completely and utterly failed with the delivery. Over 2 hours late??? Our company lost well over $10000, yes that's correct over ten thousand dollars in labor costs having employees sitting around for hours waiting for their lunch.
Great Pizza
The Pizza was loaded and I mean loaded with toppings or in this case it was buried under cheese. Their deal for $16.00 for a large with all toppings is great. I only wanted a small but she showed me that the large was cheaper. Great staff. Friendly. This is take out but worth it.
Best Pizza in Saskatoon
Best Pizza in Saskatoon and they deliver too! We visited family in Saskatoon and had a Pizza Pool Party at our Hotel. The Pizza was delivered at the exact time we asked for it and it was piping hot. We had 2 - 12 " Pepperoni. Onion, Feta & Fresh Tomato and 2 - 10 " Gluten Free Ham, Mushroom, Onion & Feta Cheese for $61.93 to feed 4 adults and three kids. (4 in Total) The Pizza was delicious and we couldn't eat it all. Loads of toppings and tasty for good measure. The kids had a whole Pizza left over for Lunches the next day. We will definitely order from this place again!
