This popular restaurant is on the first floor of SM mall, by KFC. Here are some dishes I especially recommend. **Its most popular dish is its chicken barbeque, a biq leg and thigh piece of chicken. It is quite like its corresponding selection at Mang Inasal, but with a good flavor of its own. **Sizzling Mixed Seafood. I am not a seafood fan, but I frequently order this tasty stand-out dish, which both my wife and myself love. **3-Piece Pork Barbeque. This tender and tasty selection is cooked and served on skewers. Tell them you want the three the 3 piece selection, unless you want one skewer of pork. **Boneless Bangus. Their steamed bangus comes as a big, whole fish, most of its bones taken out. **Sinabaw (soup) This restaurant serves a variety of soups, each with well enough soup for several people. I recommend either the pork or shrimp soup, the other kinds of soup actually not worth ordering. **Shakes. These good shakes are made with home-made ice cream. I especially recommend the durian shake (or of course if you like another flavor, go for it.) Its servers are quick, excellent. If you go to lunch at 12 or 12:30 you may have to wait for a table, since this restaurant draws many customers. Penong's, a chain whose headquarters is in Davao, has 20 branches through the Philippines.
