Great staff and excellent diving
We went with our two young sons aged 12 and 8 - they tried it for the first time. The guide was very encouraging and was really good with the kids. The staff were really nice, thoughtful and considerate and we felt comfortable in their hands.
Absolutely Brilliant - thank you
My ten year old son has just qualified as a PADI scuba diver with Orange shark H2O. I have been diving with them, out of Golden Bay centre, for the last few years and trust them implicitly. But they way they coached my ten year old boy through the process to certification was absolutely amazing. Our son was a little apprehensive but the instructor, Ted, was so reassuring and full of encouragement that he took to it with the minimum of fuss. I can not recommend these guys enough, they have been brilliant. Massive thank you to Steve for organising everything for us. Massive thank you to Paula and Max. The most enormous thanks to Ted who has been an amazing instructor. I now have a new dive buddy and will definitely be coming back to Malta and Orange shark H20 again. Thanks guys!!!!!

Bravissimi in tutto
Abbiamo preso contatti con loro già dall'Italia per organizzare una settimana di immersioni, trovando subito cortesia e disponibilità. Una volta a Malta, anche se non abbiamo tanta esperienza subacquea ci hanno subito fatto a sentire a nostro agio, consigliandoci le immersioni e il percorso di formazione più adatto. Il diving è organizzatissimo, anche per le immersioni dalla barca, e con attrezzatura nuova, prezzi onesti e senza sorprese. La gestione è italiana, ma lo staff è multilingue. Max e Paola, i proprietari, sono gentilissimi e pronti ad aiutare in tutto. Menzione speciale va ad Alessio, istruttore tecnico di grande preparazione e professionalità, con cui abbiamo conseguito il brevetto advance. Consigliatissimi!
Assolutamente da non perdere
Anche se un tantino in ritardo rispetto al nostro soggiorno, segnalo Orange Shark come assolutamente da non perdere per qualsiasi tipo di vacanza subacquea. Ottima tutta l'organizzazione: dalla scelta degli alloggi alla gestione del team durante le varie uscite fino alla gestione al diving di tutta l'attrezzatura. Il personale è disponibile nel risolvere qualsiasi richiesta (anche la ricerca di schede sd dimenticate a casa 😂😂😂) sia a terra che durante le uscite. Un applauso e un ringraziamento personale ad Alessio: eccellente persona e ottima guida. Ogni immersione viene pianificata con precisione e la mole d'informazione durante il briefing facevano vivere ogni tuffo con estrema tranquillità e serenità.
Best on the island for recreational divers
I've been diving in Malta for over a decade and with H2O / OrangeShark for the last few years. They are conveniently located at two centres in the North of Malta - The Radisson Hotel, Golden Sands and the Ramla Bay Hotel. All of their Mares gear is new and, as far as I know, they're the only dive centre in Malta to offer semi-dry suits to clients. They offer full kit rental as well as nitrox, high powered propulsion vehicles, and a wide variety of spares. They own a fast RIB which is moored at Ramla and will soon take delivery of a purpose-built dive boat. Max, Steve, Paola and and team are friendly, experienced, have excellent local knowledge and are very accommodating. They'll collect you from your resort or hotel and drop you back at the end of the day. If, like me, you have your own gear, it is in good hands and perfectly safe if left at the dive centre for the duration of your diving trip. Whenever I've had a problem with my gear or needed to make a last-minute modification, they'll soon have you sorted out. Their prices are very competitive with discounts for 6 and 10 dive packs.

Inizio con i ringraziamenti ad Alessio Tenenti e a Roberto le due splendide persone che ci hanno condotto x mano nelle immersioni facendoci vedere posti unici. Tutte le immersioni meritano anche quelle a 6 mt (nonostante gli austriaci poco socievoli che pensano che la sicurezza sia un dettaglio), perché le grotte sono ovunque, come le murene viste. A Max titolare del diving bravo ad aver scelto i suoi collaboratori. Unica nota che non toglie niente al giudizio Max porta a bordo dell'acqua. Un abbraccio a tutti e spero ci possa essere una seconda volta.
GORGEOUS DIVING
If you are going to dive in Malta, do it with Orangeshark at Ramla Bay Resort. They were recommended to me by someone who knew them before and it was one of the best recommendations ever received. I spent a week diving with them and I have to say that although I dived in lots of different places before, I have never been accompanied by such a good team of professionals. Lauren: you're a star in both: diving and driving (and you could drive me everywhere :) ; Vic: you're awesome, your self-confidence flowed over me and you are a walking Vicipedia :) on diving - are there any questions you cannot answer? :) Alessio: it's been a pleasure to dive with someone who is an expert Benoit, Oliver: we only had a couple of dives together but I felt so comfortable, knowing that you are taking care of us, and thanks for sharing the air on the wreck, Oliver :). Max: take good care of them. You've got a fantastic team of professionals who understand that DIVING IS FUN, also thanks to Tony The Tanker, thanks Tony You've all made my diving holiday a fun holiday and I enjoyed diving with you so much that I wish I could stay forever, I will never forget it. Thank you Ladies, thank you guys!
AWESOME DIVING EXPERIENCE in Malta
For two years in a row I have gone diving as a part of my special birthday gift. My partner is a scuba master and that is an activity he knew I would love as it is impossible to get me out of the water. But I had never done it before, so the choice of the right scuba school was sort of important. My partner has been traveling to Malta with his parents for 26 years now and it's also the place, where he has done majority of his dives and got his PADI Scuba Master certification. It seemed quite fitting that I would start my 'underwater adventures' here, too! 'Orange Shark' has two main 'offices' - at 'Radisson Blu Resort and Spa' and 'Ramla Bay Spa'. The latest one is less than five minutes away from the resort and our apartment, too. The proximity and my partner's knowledge of the company were the reasons we chose them the first time, but the experience was the reason I decided to return. The first year I was taken on something called a 'test dive' - very basic, try-it-out kind of a dive in the Ramla Bay (by the Ramla Bay Resort). Sadly, I can't remember the name of my instructor, but it was a nice dive. I was informed prior the dive what to expect, what to do in certain situations and taught the underwater signal language. I was also educated on what fish and sea creatures I can hope to see and asked not to touch anything with my bare hand - more of a way how to learn as a good practice in general, than a needed necessity on this dive, but important either way! I enjoyed the activity so much the hour passed very quickly! If you would like to have a little preview - here's a video I have made: https:// vimeo.com/134186836 THIS year my instructor was a British girl named Lauren - a witty, funny and VERY experienced diver. Don't let her young age fool you, either! She made learning not only fun, but also very constructive and informative. I felt safe and looked after all the time, and we sort of just 'hit it off'! Due to already having done the 'test' dive, I was allowed to do an 'Explore Dive', which meant I could go deeper and also needed to do a skills test - how to retrieve my regulator under water, how to clear it, how to equalize my ears and my mask while going deeper and how to get water out of the mask, etc. My partner requested this dive to take place at the Anchor Bay, which is right next to the beloved tourists spot called the Popeye's Village (yes, the movie was filmed exactly THERE!). Oh, the underwater life, the color, clarity and visibility of the water (20m) was spectacular! Lauren let me do things at my own pace, all the while communicating with signs and keeping a watchful eye over me. She quickly understood that I rather deal with myself by myself and sort of let me be to enjoy it all the while still being close to come to my aid, if needed. That sort of let me explore the privacy of the diving... Same as the first time - the time just flew by! :) It was much more interesting and adventurous than my first dive, yet I probably wouldn't change the order of the dives as the second time I felt way more comfortable and experienced than the first. Not to mention that it might not be an activity for just about everyone... The way, how my instructor was talking about the company, made me decide to come back also next year and finally start doing my own PADI course.
