Old Railway Station but.
This is an old railway station, long closed down but opened as a touristic attraction with undertones of the revolution. I was not impressed.

Хотя все связано с великим вождем товарищем Ким Ир Сеном, но вокзал и гостиница при нем - хороший пример провинциального корейского вокзала времен японской оккупации. Там можно посмотреть на исторический паровоз, вагоны и послушать истории экскурсовода.
A must see
Historical place with a lot of details and interesting history behind it... a big train and good guide... recomended if you are nearby and like history
Propaganda
Like most tourist activities in the DPKR this one is being used as pure propaganda to promote the former Great Leader (s). It is still fun to see the old train inside the building and to listen to all the nonsense:).
Superbly Renovated!
The Wonsan Old Railway Station has been recently renovated. You can see the old ticket offices and timetable where the trains departed to. There is also the old hotel to the left where the former President had stayed before boarding the train and sitting in 3rd class. This very steam train has been painstakingly restored and you can also see where he sat. A great attraction for train enthusiasts!
