Going to Cluj-Napoca - to catch a progressive metal gig - awesome - Nov 2024
In November last year I've been really lucky, one of my favorite metal bands was playing in Cluj-Napoc - a short 3 hours drive from Timisoara - so together with 3 friends we made the trip and caught the gig. The venue - " Form Space " in the city of Cluj-Napoca. So here it is some details about the place and the show. Entering was smooth and the doors opened at the hour they've set for it - so no delay. The interior looks very good, wardrobe to drop the extra clothes we've got due to the cold weather - free of charge - a short passage way you enter the concert area with a generous stage in the middle of the venue - very good size, given it is a club and not a concert hall or something similar. 2 bar areas are available - so there was almost no lines for drinks (they don't serve food) but also it was not a sold out show - but still a good crowd of 350 people were there - and the prices for drinks were in " normal " range - so no ripoff for beers or other drinks. And the show - just one word Wooooow!!! - 3 bands were playing that evening: Virtual Symmetry, KLOGR and the main act, the kings of Swedish Prog metal... Evergrey. The sound was very good, I've been to quite a few shows in pubs / clubs, this one was really good - what was also very nice was the fact the stage was very close to us, so it was a really great experience. Lighting was also very nice - and aligned with the venue and the show (as can be seen from the pictures attached to the review - assuming they will be deleted.. fingers crossed). At a certain point, the sound somehow wasn't really clear anymore - but only for like 10 minutes, than it came back to clarity until the end of the gig. A great venue, very good atmosphere, built for shows like this, so next time when you see a gig advertised there, for a band that you really want to see, I recommend no hesitation, get your tickets and go! this venue is built on purpose for live shows and definitely worth seeing a gig there!!

Horrible staff
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The bouncers are very rude all the time and they can't wait for the smallest thing to push you around. This time I had an invitation for a party. I went there and waited in line to scan it. While looking for the end of the queue for the wardrobe the bouncers said I am cutting the line and they started pushing me around. I told them I am sorry but I was not doing this but they wouldn't listen. They said the manager told them to kick me out. They were mocking me when I tried to reason with them. One of the bodyguards spat on my face and pushed me on the ground. I almost hit my head. I looked for the manager but he was drunk and mocking me as well. Horrible experience!

Rock, trap, pop, drum and bass, black metal, live concerts, you name it! A place for all the party animals out there looking for a great time.
Best club
Best place for a night out. Live bands, all kinds of DJs, oldies, rock, pop, techno, r & b. You like it, they've got it. Great sound. Friendly staff. Go party!
